A/N: It really sucks not having more than 24 hours a day. There is a lot of things I want to do all at once, but by the time I realize or I feel like doing them, it's already time for bed. Chapter 11-2 Return to the Spirit World Part 2
"The King and the Queen would reign. Hope and Happiness, they in-grain. Chaos… Itself, by them, sealed. He would rise and powers wield. Time would tell who to call and lead to his very own fall."

Lazar: Professor! Hello! It's me, Lazar. Director Goodwin needs your Hypnotic powers to tap into the mind of a little girl.
Professor: A couple; who are they?
Announcer: Now folks, there's been a change of rules for our next duel. It will be a 1vs2 battle!
Luna: I can't duel… You guys don't understand. Something strange happens to me when I duel under pressure.
Kevin: Well, if it does again, I'll be there with you. Luna, we can do this! I'm going to duel by your side and as long as we're together, it's going to be okay, I promise you.
Jack: So tell me, why you think she's a signer, Goodwin.
Goodwin: She is not. Trust me, she's a lot more important than anyone knows, even her own brother, Just like that boy Kevin. He is connected to Luna. They're both connected to the power of the Crimson Dragon, but unfortunately, he doesn't remember his past. If we can help him remember, then we can unleash the Crimson Dragon, so we can save our troubled world."
Professor, Kevin, and Luna: Let's duel!
Professor: I summon a unique monster, Symmetry Rorschach.
Luna: That card won't let me focus.
Kevin: Synchro Summon… Junk Warrior! Let's do this!
Voice: Kevin… Please come back. Please.
Professor: Some say this forest resembles… Someplace else. Fighting Forbidden? Secrets revealed? Why it's just like the Spirit World! Take us there now! We have work to do!
No One's POV
The Professor sees Kevin and Luna staring wanly at their duel disks, not seeing at all.
"Excellent. Luna has traveled to the Spirit World. Seems Goodwin was right about Kevin being connected to her because he is also gone. Now let's see what power these two possess! My turn!"
Kevin's POV
My eyes open to Blade Knight. "Finally! Come on, we have to get out of here." A huge explosion shakes the castle.
"What's going on?" I ask getting up.
"You have to get me now," Princess Eclipse says in my mind.
"Follow me. There's a big fight going on right now. I had to leave my post because it's getting really bad out there."
I nod and follow Blade Knight out. "There's a secret entrance to the dungeon through the library. We'll use it to get to the Princess." We turn a corner and run down a hallway. Another explosion shakes the castle, which makes us stop as dust comes down on us. I sneeze.
"Come, Kevin." We get to the library and Blade Knight pulls a book from one of the shelves. It shakes and soon reveals a passage that leads deeper into the castle. "Go, I'll catch up."
I nod and head down the stairs. The stairway is lit by torches on the wall every few feet or so.
"I'll lead you the way, Kevin," Princess Eclipse tells me. At the bottom, she tells me to go left and then straight. There are cells left and right, all of them empty, except the last one at the end of the hallway which holds a beautiful blue-haired girl.
"Princess Eclipse…" She's in chains on the wall with her eyes closed. She is wearing a very dirty dress. She opens her eyes and I'm taken back by her astonishing beauty. Her blue eyes glimmer in the dark. They are even brighter than the two torches inside the cell.
"Kevin…" She whispers. Now, her voice is soft, like a girl's.
"Why are you the only one down here?" I ask. I look at the locked gate. There's a weird black symbol hovering in front of the lock.
"When I'm closed to my friends, I generate energy. That's how I am able to communicate and guard this Kingdom," she explains.
"They locked you down here, alone, to drain you of your energy," I conclude.
"Yes."
"How were you able to communicate with me though?"
She smiles. "Meditation. Being alone has its perks. You see that symbol in front of the lock?"
I nod.
"Touch it. Use your strength to unlock the gate and get me out of here," she explains. "I believe in you." I look at the black symbol more closely. It's a triangle with a ring on its top and single lines piercing its sides. I reach it with my hand and feel slight pain and warmth. The black symbol begins to shimmer and the color blue replaces it.
"Stand back, Kevin," Princess Eclipse warns me.
"I hope this works." I hear her plead in my mind. Then the cell's gate explodes open. The chains on Princess Eclipse disappear and she drops down to the floor. I go to her and help her stand. At my touch, she gasps, and her expression changes. "That's why…" She whispers.
"You okay?" I ask noticing something glow on her arm.
She nods; regaining her composure. "Yes, I'm okay now. Thank you. Come, Kevin. We should get outside."
No One's POV
Back to the duel in the real world, The Professor continues with the duel.
"I will be activating my facedown card, 'Gestalt Trap'. And this particular trap card will equip on your little Kuribon." A heavy metal manacle grips Kuribon. Let's see how Luna deals with this.
"Not only are Kuribon's abilities canceled, but all her points, both attack, and defense go to zero, dear Luna. The trees aren't deaf, but they are mute to your crying peas. I equip 'Immortal Homeostasis' on Kuribon. Now, she cannot be destroyed by battle!" Kuribon squirms and fights, but cannot prevent it. "But sadly, her fate is worse, for now, she serves as the artifact of your loss. Her original attack points have been altered, and until they can be finally restored, you suffer three hundred points a round; much like the ill-tempered dog who bites your hand whether you bring food or foul.
"Now, I sacrifice symmetry Rorschach and with that removed, I can summon 'Ido the supreme Magical force'." An electrical purple creature appears with 2200 attack and 800 defense points.
*Whenever the monster card Ido the supreme magical force is destroyed, it is re-summoned to your side of the field at the end of the turn.*
"Even though Ido will be destroyed if I attack with him, he still returns to my field at the end of every turn. Of course, with him summoned, though, no other monster will be allowed on my field. A small price to pay."
Luna and Kevin are motionless, not hearing a word, with their eyes blank. The crowd is starting to worry.
"Wake up you guys!"
"They're just standing there!"
"Could this be it? Are they both too scared to duel?" The announcer exclaims.
"By removing from play 'Multiple Attacks', I can activate 'Multiple Double Attack' and equip it to Ido," The Professor says. "Now go, Ido the Supreme Magical Force attack Kuribon! And Bring out her power!"
Suddenly something strange happens to the Professor's surprise. Kevin's body moves and a trap card is activated from his side of the field.
"What?! 'Synchro's Tricky'? But how?" He exclaims a little frustrated. Ido's attack is redirected to Kevin's Junk Warrior and his monster shatters.
[Kevin's LP: 2950]
The crowd cheers.
"Look at that folks. Kevin's card redirected Ido's attack to his Junk Warrior to protect Luna from taking any damage," the Announcer points out. "What a play from the dream team couple."
The Professor grins. How is he fighting back? "Nice try boy, but 'Multiple Double Attack' lets me attack again. Normally due to Ancient Forest's ability, my dragon would be destroyed, but once per turn, it's destruction is evaded. Now, Ido finish what you started and attack Kuribon." Kuribon struggles frantically, unable to move, and gets stepped on.
[Luna's LP: 1800]
Kevin's POV
Princess Eclipse, Blade Knight, and I get outside. There are other Blade Knights sword-fighting off other creatures with wooden swords and sticks. We make our way to the courtyard when suddenly, a big purple dragon appears. We stop and it roars at us.
Suddenly, I feel a shock on my arm where my mark is. "Kevin? What's wrong?" Blade Knight asks concerned.
"My mark hurts." I gasp as it hurts me more. "No, Luna's in danger." I can feel her pain. The dragon roars again and shoots a purple ball of energy towards us. I close my eyes expecting to get hit, but nope. Curious, I open them to a Junk Warrior in front of us. "Junk Warrior saved us." It attacks the dragon and it gets destroyed.
"Kevin," Princess Eclipse calls me. I turn towards her.
"For all your help in saving me and your concern for others, please accept my gift." She holds out her hand and a blue soft light appears from it. It travels to me and surrounds my head.
I raise my eyebrows feeling lightheaded, but it's soon washed away by warmth.
"No!" Is that…
Luna! I exclaim in my mind.
Huh? Kevin? What's going on? How-
Are you okay? I felt your pain.
I'm okay, but Kuribon's not.
I turn to Princess Eclipse and smile at her. "Thank you."
She smiles back and nods.
"Think! Tell me about the Crimson Dragon!" A frightening voice echoes around.
That sounded like the professor.
I hear Luna exclaim, "Mmmmm. No! This world is supposed to be a safe place. You can't harm me here!"
Just then, the same dragon appears and roars at us. Junk Warrior begins to attack again, but the dragon shoots a purple beam of light towards him. Junk Warrior shatters.
No One's POV
Back to the duel in the real world, the professor smiles as Ido reappears. "Did you already forget? Ido returns to my field whenever it's destroyed. Huhuhu. It's your turn, Kevin. And don't get in my way!"
"I draw." His body continues. "I summon Princess Hope." A blue-haired girl with a purple dress and a blue staff appears with 100 attack and 2000 defense points. "Now, it's effect; It lets me synchro summon by sending the materials from my deck to the graveyard." He grabs '"Speed Synchron" and "Speed Warrior", and sends them to the graveyard. Both monsters appear and Speed Synchron lights up. He transforms into two circular green rings that surround Speed Warrior. His body glows in a yellow outline and is replaced by two stars. Kevin synchro summons, "QuickFlash Warrior," which appears on his side of the field with 1800 attack and defense points.
He synchro summoned with just one card. How powerful is this boy really? The Professor thinks surprised.
"On the turn, he is summoned, his attack points are doubled," Kevin's body declares. "I activate his special ability. By removing from play my 'Junk Hedgehog', Speed Synchron', and 'Speed Warrior', his attack points increase by 300 points." QuickFlash Warrior's attack goes up to 3900. "Now, I attack with QuickFlash Warrior."
Quickflash jumps and spins upside-down. He smacks Ido destroying the dragon.
[Professor's LP: 2300]
"I don't care. Ha, I broke through!"
"Due to the effect of QuickFlash Warrior, I return my removed from play monsters to my deck and draw two cards." Kevin's body inserts three cards back into his deck, his deck is reshuffled, and he draws two cards.
"Due to the effect of 'Ancient Forest', QuickFlash Warrior is destroyed," The Announcer points out. "With Princess Hope on the field, what will Kevin do now?"
"I end…" Ido returns to the field in attack mode.
"I draw." Luna's body begins. Her life point decrease due to the effect of "Immortal Homeostasis".
[Luna's LP: 1500]
"I summon my 'Sunlight Unicorn'." Her monster gallops into the field, around in the air, shining like the sun; its mane is dazzling, crackling with bright blue light. It has 1800 attack and 1000 defense points. "And now, I equip 'Horn of the Unicorn' on my Sunlight Unicorn." Sunlight's horn shines and becomes made of pure crystal; its attack points rise to 2500. She then declares an attack and destroys Ido once again.
[Professor's LP: 2000]
Backstage, Yusei notices how weird Kevin and Luna have been acting. What has that guy done to them? I gotta do something. He stands and leaves.
Back to the duel, Sunlight is destroyed and Luna's body continues, "Each time 'Horn of the Unicorn is sent to the graveyard, it returns to the top of my deck. So now, I activate the spell card, 'Emergency Assistance', from my hand. This allows me to summon one monster that was destroyed this turn." Sunlight Unicorn gallops out of the spell and returns to the field. "I summon Sunlight Unicorn. If the top card of my deck is a spell card, then I can use its effect to add the card to my hand. I equip my mystic steed with 'Horn of the Unicorn'. I place two cards facedown. It is your turn."
Back in Spiritus, Kevin, Princess Eclipse, and Blade Knight face the purple gooey dragon once more. Now, Kevin's monster, QuickFlash Warrior, protects them from its attack.
"I need to get to Luna," Kevin tells Princess Eclipse. "She needs my help in taking out the Professor."
She nods, understanding. "I will get you there."
Meanwhile, Luna has been reminded by a mysterious motherly voice; that she promised that she would protect all who reside in the spirit world. Ido also appears and the dragon tries to take her out too, but the spirits of her cards protect her. After Sunlight Unicorn got destroyed, she reappears.
"Sunlight Unicorn! You're back! What happened to you earlier? Where you go? Huh?"
As well as Ido is back.
"Um… Pretty voice from earlier? Is this big scary shadow thing with you?"
"Luna, use your Sunlight Unicorn to escape!" The voice tells her. Luna climbs aboard Sunlight Unicorn with Kuribon in front of her.
"Ah! Whoa!" She rides Sunlight out of the beautiful forest she appeared in and goes into a part of the Spirit World that is dried up and dead. The color is a sickly lavender, for the stormy clouds that blanket the sky. Kuribon coos.
"It's okay," Luna reassures her. "Oh… Oh, what happened to all the trees? What's going on?"
"An evil force is attempting to cross the void and access the Spirit World. It yearns to corrupt and twist this place, to harness its power for malicious purposes," the pretty voice tells her.
"Malicious purposes? An evil force?" Kevin, where are you? I need you.
Blade Knight, QuickFlash, and I are trying to find a way to get rid of this annoying dragon. Princess Eclipse will teleport me to where you are in a bit.
Okay, please hurry, She pleads.
At a dry, dead river bed, Sunlight Unicorn stops and Luna and Kuribon jump off. But what truly stopped them was the sight of what lies across the riverbed; a huge stone with a carving of a dragon in it.
"Oh… Hello?" Luna greets.
"I'm here, Luna, sealed away in this granite prison. I have been waiting for your return," the same motherly voice, from earlier, says.
"I don't get it; what do you want from me?! That dragon… Hang on a sec! That dragon looks familiar!" Luna has a momentary vision of this dragon when it wasn't sealed in stone; her skin is a blueish teal, with webbed wings in bright pastels that recollect a butterfly's. She proudly wears a golden mantle around her shoulders and torso. "It's you! It's- Ancient Fairy Dragon!"
"We meet again. It's time to fulfill your promise, or your brother's spirit may be lost here forever!"
Luna stands on a barren riverbank, but sees before her this place in all its former glory; the river is a beautiful blue, and on the other side lies a lush green meadow.
"Where is my brother?" She questions.
"Lost between your world and ours. Now allow me to take you back to when you first came here."
Luna gasps as she sees, across the river, herself when she was three; playing with Kuribon and several other cute little duel spirits. Above them all, Ancient Fairy Dragon sits and watches protectively.
"To help you remember the promise you made that will save this world and your brother's spirit."
Flashback Luna's POV
"Almost done! Ta-da! Here!" She holds up a wreath she made out of flowers and puts it on Kuribon. She is absolutely stoked, bouncing all over the place. Young Luna looks around suddenly. "It just got really cold." Just as the duel spirits are rejoicing, the flowers rot off of poor Kuribon's head. "That's weird; the flowers. Oh, they wilted."
"The Spirit World is in danger, Luna. An evil force has been trying to gain access to this place to take over," Ancient Fairy Dragon explains. "With sinister intent, this force reaches to squeeze the heart of our beloved land. As this evil grows in strength, the light of the Spirit World will begin to fade. And the beauty of this realm will be replaced by sorrow and darkness."
"Can't you stop it?"
"No, but you can Luna," she tells her.
"What can I do?"
"You are a bridge that connects your world and ours. Stay with us, Luna. Protect us. In return, we can help you. We feel your sadness my child; we know that you're lonely, aren't you,"
"Yeah," Young Luna agrees. "Kinda. Mom and dad are always away, on important business trips and stuff like that, and I don't go to school with other kids. And my silly egghead brother only thinks about himself. I once had a friend but I don't know what happened to him. My parents stop trying to contact his parents because they left for those business trips. Okay, Ancient Fairy dragon- I will stay here and protect you! I will protect everyone!"
"Thank you, Luna! And I will make sure you never feel lonely again!" Ancient Fairy Dragon flies over and covers Luna and her duel spirits with its wings, like a bird protecting its young. It starts to glow gold, and young Luna smiles amazed.
No one's POV
"I remember now. I… I came here… Several years ago. And I made a promise. I said that I'd protect you. But then…
"Luna…" She hears her brother's voice.
"Back then, I heard Leo's voice calling to me and…" She looks as though she suddenly feels faint and falls to one knee.
"I heard him shouting my name… And then, I started running as fast as I could. I said that… my brother was calling me… But I think I had been calling to him, somehow! I was scared… I was afraid I wouldn't be able to protect you by myself! So I ran…After that, I tried so hard to forget about you. I blocked you all out, and then…"
Oh, Luna. I'm sorry, She hears Kevin's voice. Just then, she hears Ido roar. It has caught up to her. "Ohh no…"
Back to the duel, Yusei runs into the field. "Luna! Kevin! They can't hear me." He looks over at the Professor, who is also completely gone. That's weird. It's like they're all hypnotized or something. What's going on? Their eyes look so distant. "Luna! Kevin!" It's gotta be this Professor creep. He is doing something to them, but what? Hm. He looks at them again and this time, he can see a blue mark glowing on both of their arms. On Kevin's arm, he sees a triangle with a quarter moon; inside the triangle with ends pointing to the right. On Luna's arm is an upside-down triangle with the quarter moon inside it; the ends pointing to the left. "Woah, they have marks like me, but they are different."
Meanwhile, Goodwin is watching from the tower; Zigzix is on a holo-screen.
"Yyy- Excellent news! Look here, the B-Techer detected a signal!" The needle has exceeded the blue section in his device. "Miss Luna and Mister Kevin are very special!"
Back to the duel, Yusei is still looking at Kevin, Luna, and The Professor. "Okay. Wherever those three are, they're not here. Their bodies might be, but their spirits…"
"It's my turn," The sleeptalking Professor continues.
Kevin's POV
I appear next to a scared Luna and the same menacing purple gooey dragon. "Luna!"
"Kevin!" She runs to me and gives me a soft-heartwarming hug. I notice Kuribon cower behind us.
"What's going on? Where are we?" I ask looking around the withering forest.
"I draw." I hear the Professor's voice from the dragon.
"Wh-what?" Luna questions. In the Dragon's place, The Professor appears, chuckling.
"I cannot believe that I've actually crossed over! I have finally left my body behind. I have entered the Spirit World!"
"What do you want?" Luna questions him.
"You two are much more important than you know. Now, be good. Use your power and reveal to me the secrets of this wonderful realm! Lend me your power!" From his feet, darkness begins to fester and spread.
"You're crazy if you think we'll give you anything," I tell him.
"You need to leave. You are not allowed here!" As she spoke, the darkness crawled up a dead tree behind her and turned it to dust. She notices when Kuribon reacts. "Huh." More trees around the professor crumble.
"Hehehehehehe!"
There's a rumbling in the distance. The sickly lavender sky is now swirling over with menacing storm clouds flashing with lighting. A bolt of it smashes off a chunk of the rock that imprisons Ancient Fairy Dragon, and the massive border just miss Luna and me.
"We're under attack, Luna, Kevin. Now is the time you must defend us!" Ancient Fairy Dragon tells us.
"Luna. Together," I say. She smiles and nods as both of our marks glow.
"I won't let you down, Ancient Fairy Dragon. I will fight to protect the Spirit World, and save my brother's spirit!"
"Hehehehehehe!" The Professor continues.
"Huh."
No One's POV
The Professor stands opposite Luna and Kevin. The duel has transcended to The Spirit World. His life points read 2000. He is completely mad with power.
Kevin and Luna hold out their arms flat and their duel disks appear. Kevin has two face-down cards, his life points at 2950. Luna is at 1500; she also has two facedown cards, Horn of the Unicorn spell card, and Kuribon with 0 attack and defense points, and Sunlight Unicorn with 2500 attack points. Kuribon is still equipped with the Professor's "Immortal Homeostasis" and "Gestalt Traps".
On the Professor's field, he has Ido with 2200 attack.
"I reveal my facedown card Pixie Ring!" Luna says. "There are two monsters on my field and they are both in attack mode; so I can use the power of Pixel Ring to form a protective barrier around the weaker one! You can't attack Kuribon now- she's safe! I promised to protect the spirits and that's what I'm going to do!"
"Ha. How sweet- but you think that's going to protect her and you-" He activates "Copy Hand".
"Thanks to your boyfriend, since he has more cards than both of us, he must discard the difference, and I can draw the same amount."
"No…" Kevin says worried throwing his five cards to the graveyard. He groans.
"Can you protect yourself from the 'Wall of Intent'?" He plays a spell card. "Ehehehehehe! Should you manage to destroy a monster of mine, then I am afraid, the 'Wall of Intent', will crash you for three hundred points of damage!"
"Oh…"
"And now, Ido attack your Sunlight Unicorn!" It attacks, gets destroyed, and hits the Professor for 300 life points.
[Professor's LP: 1700]
"That attack doesn't matter! For sometimes you must be willing to make sacrifices in order to achieve victory! Now, I activate 'Wall of Intent'!"
"Huh?" Luna gets struck with 300 points from the spell card. "Aa-aa-aa-aah!"
[Luna's LP: 1200]
"Luna!" Kevin exclaims worried.
"I'm okay" She reassures him. "That wasn't that bad."
"Well, unfortunately, it's about to get a lot worse! Because you destroyed a monster of mine, I can use the effect of my 'Prized Spirit Contamination' spell!" He plays it and targets her trap card.
"The corrosive power of this spell is capable of destroying one spell or trap card on your field!"
"Ahhh! The Pixel Ring is gone! Sorry, Kuribon."
"And now, I play 'double damage'! With this card, I can target an opponent who didn't take damage this turn and he takes the damage we took!"
Kevin raises his eyebrows.
"That's 1200 points of damage," Luna points out. A tornado comes out of the Professor's spell and smacks Kevin.
"Haaaa!" He flies back and hits the ground hard.
[Kevin's LP: 1750]
"Kevin!" Luna exclaims and goes to him. She helps him up. Their marks begin to glow again and Kevin stands.
"I'm okay. Thanks, Luna."
The Professor laughs crazily. His evil smile is menacing. "During the end phase, my Ido resurrects again. I end my turn."
"My turn then. I draw!" Kevin exclaims. "I first activate Princess Hope's effect which lets me tribute one of my facedown cards to destroy one of yours. I can't let you hurt Luna nor this world anymore!" The Wall of Intent is destroyed.
"Useless!"
I smile. "That's what you think. Now, I sacrifice Princess Hope to summon 'Princess Eclipse' in attack mode." A beautiful girl with orange/red hair appears with fire coming out of her hands. She has 2200 attack and 2300 defense points. I end my turn with that."
"My move, I draw."
"Hehehehehe! Since Kuribon's attack points have changed, you'll suffer the effect of Immortal Homeostasis. Nyaaahhh! You must now endure three hundred of direct damage!" Kuribon coos and Luna screams.
[Luna's LP: 900]
"It's like everything I try to do, he ends up counteracting," she tells Kevin.
"I know. But keep resisting, we got this," he reassures her. She nods.
"I place one more card facedown! With that, I activate 'Healing Wind' from my hand which means for every single monster on the field including yours, I regain two hundred life points. I end my turn."
[Luna's LP: 1700]
"Goodwin's a fool for thinking that I would share the power of the Spirit World with him and the rest of the Illiaster servants to this world! I devoted my entire life to find a way to connect to this world! By the looks of it, you, Kevin are also hiding a lot. When I take over this world, I'll surely come to claim Spiritus. Now, that I'm finally standing here, I intend to steal its power for my SELF! The SPIRIT WORLD IS GOING TO BE MINE! IT WILL CRUMBLE BEFORE ME!" A dark power around his feet oozed up a nearby cliff and brings it down, every tree on it crashes down with it.
"Wow, this dude!" Kevin says.
"Oh, no! The Spirit World is collapsing! I can't let it, I can't!" Luna tells him.
"You think you have power, think again Professor. I won't let you even step one foot in Spiritus," Kevin declares.
"It's too late to save any worlds OR your Kuribon! Ido, the Supreme Magical Force, attack!"
"Stop, I play 'Fairy Wind'!" Luna exclaims.
*Fairy Wind destroys all the face-up spell and trap cards on the field and deals four hundred points of direct damage to each player for any card destroyed.*
"Listen up, Professor! I'm not going to let you do any more damage to The Spirit World! Your evil and destructive ways will end, now!"
"What?!" He questions as "Fairy Wind" destroys the Professor's face-up spells and traps. Kuribon is freed, Sunlight Unicorn is dehorned, and Ancient Forest in the real world disappears.
[Professor's LP: 100]
"Rrrgh."
[Kevin's LP: 150]
"Nice Luna," Kevin says to her. "One more attack and he's done."

"And since your spell is gone, Kuribon's attack points return to 300. You won't win this duel!"
"And you will not stop me from achieving my destiny!" The Professor persists. "Attack now, Ido!"
"Kuribon's special ability activates! When Kuribon is attacked, she can return to my hand in order to avoid damage. You can't touch her!"

"And even though, you regained life points, at least I was able to keep my Kuribon safe! I promised to protect her, I promised to protect the entire Spirit World, and I'm going to keep that promise!" Luna explains and looks at Kevin. He smiles in approval.
"Hehehehehehehehe! No! My power will break you and your promise."
Ancient Fairy Dragon's rock begins to crumble and the Professor's crackling gets even more lunatic.
"There's nothing you can do to save all your worlds! I will destroy them and rebuild them under my rule!" He laughs crazily again. As the rock crumbles away, the shape of Ancient Fairy Dragon emerges halfway still stone, and roars its fury; screeching painfully through a voice turned to stone.
"That's Ancient Fairy Dragon," Kevin says in awe.
"Man, she seems like she's really mad!" Luna points out. "Oh, no. What's she doing?"
Ancient Fairy Dragon reaches over and grabs the Professor in a claw, as he keeps crackling crazily, and lifts him into the air. Luna runs after them with Kevin behind. "She's going to crush him! Don't do it, you're no better than he is! Put him down, okay?" She asks.
Ancient Fairy Dragon roars in the Professor's face; he doesn't even stop crackling.
"Yup, he's gone insane," Kevin confirms. "What we're going to do, Luna."
She thinks for a bit. "Maybe if we end this duel. I activate 'Oberon's Prank'! This card reverses Kuribon's effect! Instead of restoring your Life points, it damages us for the same amount!"
"Hahahaha, I play my trap, 'Chaos Pain," The Professor counteracts. He continues laughing. "Your trap's card negated and you take all the damage instead!"
"No…" Luna whispers.
"I won't let you, Professor," Kevin says. "I promised I would protect Luna and if it means keeping her by my side through all this then I will!" He looks at her and smiles. She nods going to his side. "I activate Princess Eclipse's special ability! Whenever there's an effect that inflicts effect damage, I can tribute it to negate that and inflict back to you with double the damage!"
Princess Eclipse raises up her hand. A red clear crystal wand appears as lighting cracks red above, and a mighty whirlwind descends from the heavens.

Winners: Kevin and Luna
"Thank you," Luna says to him and she grabs his hand, knowing that she can fully trust him to do what's right.
Kevin nods as the Professor is blown away.
"The evil is gone," Ancient Fairy Dragon tells them. "But now, you must stop the person who sealed me away."
Princess Eclipse turns towards Luna and Kevin. "This is just the start. Thank you… dad."
Back to the Stadium, the Professor stumbles backward and falls seemingly, unable to close his eyes. Luna sways on her feet, groggily returning to full consciousness, and looks across the field to the Professor.
"Is he okay?" Luna asks concerned.
The Professor starts getting back to his feet.
"Seems so," Kevin says. "Wait what?"
"I can hear you through my mind. That's so cool." Luna then semi-faints and is caught by Kevin.
"I gotcha, now. It's okay."
The Professor gets to his feet and merely stands there, half alive. The crowd mutters in confusion.
"You two okay?" Yusei asks beside them.
Kevin looks at him and he nods. "Yeah, now we are." He looks at both of their arms as their signs begin to fade. Hand-in-hand, Kevin and Luna begin to head towards the arena exit. She waves happily at the crowd and they cheer. "The battle has ended!" The Announcer exclaims. "The dream team couple has won and they'll be moving on to the next round."
Yusei takes steps to follow Kevin and Luna, then he looks up at the tower above them. Up there, Goodwin is smirking and Lazar's grin is downright evil.
Jack Atlas concludes, "So, both of them have a mark. What happens now?"
Meanwhile, somewhere shadowy, a black-gloved hand with thick black-and-silver sleeves spins Ancient Fairy Dragon's card on a table with a fingertip and a sinister laugh.
A/N: Yeah this was a long one, but actually a good one in my opinion. It was fun to write since I was able to use some ideas from the English dubbed and incorporate my ideas that I was stuck on at the beginning. Pretty happy with the results now.
