A/N: Hello and welcome back to The Life Channel! I hope everyone is doing well. I finally present the finale to the first part of this story. This was very epic to write and I really enjoyed the fight between Kevin and Jack. I hope you enjoy and I'll see you at the end.

Chapter 15-2 The Fortune Cup Finale Part 2
"There was once a handsome King with his beautiful Queen, whom once ruled a Kingdom destined for greatness."

Leo: You can't leave me too, Luna. Our parents left and I felt so alone ever since… But I had you, even though I didn't give you all the attention that I really should have and I'm sorry for that.
Announcer: Ladies and Gentlemen, the most intense duel we've seen so far has roared to a close. Kevin has defeated The Black Rose and emerged as the winner!
Jack: So now, you know who 3 of the 5 signers are. Also, Kevin and Luna have their own marks.
Goodwin: That's right, so when you duel Kevin, be sure to push him to his limits. Because the power your duel generates will reveal the last two signers and unite you all.
Kevin: I failed you. Because of me you lay on this bed with injuries and ripped clothes. I failed you.
Luna: It's okay. You did what you could and I'm not mad. I'm not sad. I'm so happy that we succeeded with Akiza and I'm happy that I found someone to be by my side through all of this. I always dreamt of someone being there for me when I needed them the most. Yes I had Leo and he's my brother, but it feels different with you. I should be the one to be angry at myself for being so weak.
Kevin: In The Spirit World? Wait, do you know Princess Eclipse or Blade Knight?
Leo: Who? No, I met this beautiful girl. She was all green except for her dress which was white. Her name was Green.
Kevin: I remember… I remember my mom.
Jack: Ha! Are you guys dense? It's 'cause of this: this mark. He wants The Crimson Dragon's Power and whatever else Kevin and that little girl possess, so he's been trying to gather everyone with its mark. He got me here by lying to me and buttering me up and manipulating me. I have a few demands to make. You got what you wanted and more. Yusei is here and Kevin will duel me, right? I want his little girlfriend to be taken care of by the best doctors we have. I want you to find his parents by any means possible and get them both some new clothes. He doesn't need to be coerced. I want this duel to be legit. No threats, no deals, no gimmicks. Just us.
Goodwin: If that's what my champion wants, so be it.
Kevin: As much as I despise Goodwin for his threats, his games, and his need to manipulate, I feel that we are just preparing for something much more dangerous.
Yusei: Take it. I know you can take Jack without my dragon, but I want you to use my card to show Jack that friendship is better than fame or fortune. Plus, you'll need all that help you can get.
Announcer: This is the moment. Will Jack Atlas continue to reign as The King of Turbo duels? Or will he be dethroned by the mysterious underdog who packs quite a punch? It's time to find out!
Jack: Kevin, I'm the best turbo duelist New Domino City has ever seen, and that move that I just made was one more example of why I'm the champ. And now, I'm going to show you why I'm goin' to remain the Champ-. I synchro summon 'Red Dragon Archfiend'!
Back in the satellite, I knew that in order to realize my full potential and to climb up from the bottom of the world, I had to throw everything away. I had to turn my back on the Satellite, on my friends. Nothing was more important to me than being the best. But now, you appear, Kevin, and you're trying to take my throne. Show me you're a real duelist, unlike Yusei who has always put dueling second. He's not a real duelist. He hasn't sacrificed anything. Well, show me what you got and prove me wrong or I will put you in your place.

No One's POV
What used to be a clear blue sky is now being washed over by dark purple clouds. White lightning booms and Leo gasps from the stands below. "What's going on?!" Yanagi, Tanner, Dexter, and Yusei look up to see the sky being overwhelmed by the purple clouds. "I don't think the forecast called for scary purple clouds!"
"It's a sign!" Yanagi tells them. He is quite shaken. "The Crimson Dragon is coming. And if he is coming, then we should get going!"
"Take it easy, Gramps," Tanner says to him. "I mean, it's probably just some acid rain drifting in from The Satellite."
Up in the tower overlooking the crowd and the duel below, Goodwin and Lazar stand watching the marvelous spectacle happening right in front of them. "It's the sign we've been waiting for," Goodwin says, "Soon The Crimson Dragon and The White Legacy will awake from their long slumber-"
"Um, just one question about all that," Lazar slips in. "I thought we needed five signers, no? And at this point, we just have the three: Jack, Yusei, and Akiza. Besides, are we even sure that we can control the Dragon's power once it's been summoned? Perhaps, Trudge had a point."
Goodwin frowns and turns to look at him. "Lazar, don't you trust me? You see, it does not matter right now that we only have three of the five signers. We have Kevin and Luna; a couple from a legacy thought long lost. Legend spoke of a couple who would be reborn in our troubled world to help fight against the forces of evil that we are meant to fight pretty soon. If we can have them join us, we will bring in those last two remaining signers. But Lazar, I do know one of those missing signers."
"That's good," Lazar says, looking away. "If you know, then I'll just watch this match and rela-" He then gasps: realization sinking in. "Wait, you know?!" He turns to him in astonishment and declares, "Who is it?! Are- Are they here? How exciting!" He grins in excitement.
"That's right Lazar," Goodwin agrees with a malicious grin. "But first, we must see if we can harness the immense power both The Crimson Dragon's and The White Legacy's summonings will create."
Lazar's chuckling at the revelations he has heard.
Back to the duel, Jack speaks to Kevin again after his ace "Red Dragon Archfiend" roars one more time. "Now it's time, Kevin, that I show you real power. Go Red Dragon Archfiend. Attack Kevin's dragon with Scorching Crimson Flare!" His dragon's spiky hand makes a fist that bursts up in flames. His dragon punches and a red ball of fire heads towards Kevin's Junk Blue Moon Dragon.
Kevin smiles and flips over his face-down card. "Not a chance, Jack. I play my face-down trap; 'Junk Switch'. This card lets me remove my Junk Blue Moon Dragon on the field and lets me grab another dragon from my deck. As long as I have options, Jack, I won't go down that easily." Kevin grabs Luna's dragon and grabs Yusei's Ace. I will show you that friendship means a lot to me. Just like Yusei. Luna's dragon roars and begins to shimmer a white light. It glows bright and Kevin plays Yusei's dragon. In her place stands Stardust Dragon; a glimmering white dragon with 2500 attack and 2100 defense points.
The crowd awes and begins chanting. "Kevin. Kevin. Kevin."
Nice, Kevin. Do you plan to do what I think you will do next turn? Luna asks him in his mind.
I hope so. He says back. If I draw that card I need.
"Unbelievable. Kevin has managed to bring out Yusei Fudo's top monster on the field!" The Announcer exclaims. "What tricks and moves will Kevin give to us all with him?"
At that moment, the signers' mark begins to glow. Yusei smiles as he feels the warmth of his mark on his arm. In the Arcadia Movement's headquarters, Akiza, who is relaxing in a tub full of water, also feels the warmth as her mark glows brightly. "Kevin…"
Jack sees his arm glow and he looks over to Kevin and his new dragon. "You brought Stardust Dragon. Welcome to the party."
"Jack, I was given this card by Yusei to show you that the bond we have is worth more than you think," Kevin tells him.
He chuckles. "I see, but even if you managed to bring Stardust Dragon out on the field, his attack points are way lower than my dragon. So go, attack Stardust Dragon!" Red Dragon Archfiend shoots out another ball of fire towards Kevin's monster. "You wasted your efforts to bring out another monster, but even with that, you will lose your so-called friendship."
"Nope, because Junk Switch has another effect which equips itself to Stardust Dragon. As long as it is equipped, it cannot be destroyed by battle."
"But you still take damage!" Jack exclaims. The ball of fire is interrupted by a blue sphere of light that stops its destruction, but the explosion causes his duel runner to swirl to the left and then the right.
[Kevin's LP: 1400]
Kevin grunts and notices the purple clouds above.
Are you okay? Luna asks him, a bit worried.
Yeah, he says. Though, I am a bit concerned about what is about to happen next.
"I place two cards face down," Jack says. "Show me what you got, Kevin."
Kevin places his hand on top of his deck and he closes his eyes. You got this, he hears Luna's sweet voice.
Kevin's SC: 3
Jack's SP: 3
"Tell me, Kevin, how does it feel?" Jack asks him. The people chant his name and he grins as he looks around. "Would you give up your friends for fame and fortune when you don't have anything under your name?" He thinks for a bit. "With my fortune, you could probably find your lost family with the snap of your fingers. You can get your home back and live a normal life. Don't you want that for yourself and for Akiza? Wouldn't you like the roar of the crowd chanting your name with everything that you do?"
He closes his eyes and takes in the audience. Somehow, he does like it a lot. "Hear that? That could be your future. That is if you manage to beat me, but are you more Yusei than all that? Would you sacrifice what you have now for all that?"
He somehow feels Luna's sad emotions. He wonders as if she was by his side, he would grab her small hand, wrap his fingers around hers, and squeeze softly like he has been doing this whole time ever since he met her.
"I will admit that it all does sound nice. But without the person who first believed in me; all that does not matter to me. Yes, I want to find my parents no matter what, but without my Queen, a King is nothing." The crowd awes and Luna smiles at his words. Kevin… I l- He feels her sadness, but he assures her, Without you, I wouldn't have found the courage to continue forward. Thank you.
She stays quiet and he feels as she begins to break into tears.
Kevin draws. "I discard my level 2 Junk Hedgehog in order to special summon The Tricky from my hand." A spellcaster with a blue cape and a question mark on its chest appears with 2000 attack and 1200 defense points. "I also summon Princess Tamer in attack mode." A cute little girl with green ponytails and red bows on them appears with 1500 attack points and 600 defense points. "Time to even out the field. Go, I tune my level 3 Princess Tamer with my level 5 The Tricky-" Kevin's little princess turns into 3 green circular rings and they surround The Tricky. It turns to a yellow outline of the monster and then transforms into 5 white stars. "From the past memories of clustered hope, a new horizon shines bright." Besides him, a white light envelopes the stars and from it, a new dragon appears. "Take to the skies, Junk Blue Delta Dragon!" A mechanized dragon with eyes of a blue moon takes flight and roars. It has 2700 attack points and 2300 defense points.
Kevin's and Luna's marks begin to glow and The Announcer exclaims, "It's finally here! Kevin's beast is finally on the field. Let the battle commence!"
The crowd begins to chant again and Jack laughs. "Finally, taking out your dragon so it can face mine. Even with its mere 2700 attack points, you got guts, kid."
Above them, cracks of red lighting shoot around as White lightning also intervenes every few seconds or so. Above them, dark purple clouds circle around them, and suddenly, a bolt of red lightning strikes down and goes through one of the holographic spheres in the stadium. It travels to the right and then to the left and heads its way past Kevin's and Jack's dragons.
"Here it comes!" Jack exclaims watching as the spectacle forms in front of him."The Crimson Dragon!" At the same time, another bolt of White lightning shoots around and it passes along their monsters as well.
People gasp along with Yanagi, Dexter, and Leo. "Sweet," Tanner says with arms crossed.
"It's here," Yusei says worriedly as he takes a look at his glowing arm.
"Th- Th- Th- Th- This is bad," Yanagi points out.
The red bolt of lightning begins to turn into a red long dragon with each of the marks of every signer embedded on its body: The wings, its tail, a hand, and a similar mark of its other hand. It roars as it floats in the middle between Jack's dragon and Kevin's two dragons.
"I see it, but I don't believe it," The Announcer says as he wipes his eyes. Just then the stadium begins to shake as a white light shines brightly from the heavens above. From the other bolt of lightning, a full moon forms along with the marks of Kevin and Luna's embedded into that moon.
Kevin, what's going on? Luna asks him.
Someone is- Someone is coming down from the sky, he says answering her. As said, a white creature that resembles a human being appears from the moon. It wears a white dress with different alterations of colors at the hem of the dress. A clear staff with a white orb appears in its hand and it raises it up. The moon shrinks down and it then resides as half of the moon; one side on the orb and the other half appears on the other side of the orb. It moves to float besides Kevin and his dragons.
Around, people gasp and awe at the miracle that has taken place just now. In the shadows behind the stands, Sayer is astonished. "It can't be. They actually awaken you both."
Up at the tower, Goodwin smirks in admiration. "Beautiful isn't it?" He tells Lazar who is smiling as much as possible. "So much power and we have ourselves another creature. Lazar, get me Zigzix now." He turns to his director and he calmly bows down.
"Mmm."
In Zigzix's lab, he reads the measurements and readings with so much excitement. "It's working! We're absorbing the dragon's Ener-deeee! And I also have my other machine taking up that other creature's energy! Ahh! I have never seen something so powerful! Ha ha ha!" Just then a beep is heard, and a holographic screen appears besides Zigzix. "Hm?"
"Zigzix, you must shut down the reactor immediately," Goodwin orders him.
"Excuse me?" he questions getting up from his chair. "But it's working perfectly!" He turns to his front and sees the reactor glowing in different colors and white electricity around. "There's enough Ener-D here to power the city for 100 years! It's a success!"
"We must be cautious. Zigzix, if you don't shut down the reactor immediately, then there might not be a city left to power. I'm sure that you understand." The screen in front of him disappears.
"'Won't be a city left'?" He turns back to the reactor. "Ummm." Just then the computer in front of him begins its alert sequence.
Warning. The Ener-D reactor is overloading. Please shut down core. Meltdown is imminent.
"Meltdown?" Zigzix questions. "Oh, please. Not again." He remembers the catastrophe that happened a while back. "We can't let what happened to Kevin's village happen here." He gasps. "Ahh!" He goes over to the command control console and speaks over the microphone. "We must shut down the reactor immediately! Those creatures have the power to destroy everything in New Domino City!"
Kevin's POV
The Crimson Dragon roars above us and I close my eyes as soon as I see that creature. She's beautiful… I hear Luna say in my mind. Who is she?
I don't know. But she must be from that legend. She must be the one responsible for our marks, I tell my girlfriend.
"Crimson Dragon. Welcome to my arena," Jack says. "Now watch and witness how your future master rules this duel!"
How can we talk to her? I ask Luna.
I don't know.
I frown and look up at the lady above me. She suddenly turns to me and she softly smiles. "Hey, can you please tell us what's going on?"
The lady just looks at me and she then shakes her head side-to-side. "Are you scared, Kevin?" Jacks says in front.
I shake my head. "No, Jack. I just want answers and what these mean to me and Luna." I show him my arm where my glowing blue mark is at.
"Well, Kevin. I am a signer and Goodwin told me that the power of The Crimson Dragon will help me save this world."
Save this world? Luna asks. Are we also in danger here as we are in The Spirit World?
Remember what I said about Goodwin? I ask. This could be that.
Suddenly, I feel a great pain go through my arm and I hear Luna shriek! "Luna!" Then above me, The Crimson Dragon roars once more and that white creature raises up her staff. A pulse shoots out and begins to rock the stadium. Strong winds shake the place around and I try to hold on. The Crimson Dragon then swallows up our dragons.
"What's going on?" Jack questions and I prepare as a white light shoots out of that creature's staff. It engulfs us and my vision goes dark. The next thing I know, I'm riding my duel running in space.
"What the…" Jack and I are riding on a yellow stream of light which leads to the infinite space in front. Our dragons are back on our fields, but both The Crimson Dragon and that White Creature are gone.
"Where are we?" I question, surprised as I look around.
"Beats me," Jack answers, also baffled.
Luna? I call for my girlfriend.
I'm behind you, She says. Akiza and Yusei are beside me. We're inside these bubbles, but we're behind you guys. Wait… A second later, Leo is here too!
What? Is he also a signer?
I don't know. I… Look in front.
I take a look and see a red star above us glowing bright. A temple of some kind appears in front of us as we get closer to it.
"Look there," Jack points out.
Kevin… I'm scared, Luna says and suddenly, she appears next to me, wearing some Blue pajamas. "Luna?!" She goes to me and the blue bubble surrounding her disappears. She then hugs me and gets on top of me. It's like those movies I used to watch when I was a little boy. The knight carries the princess.
Below us, stand thousands of people bowing down to five others at the top of the temple.
"Kevin," he says as my duel runner reaches up to him. He then sees my girlfriend with me. "Luna? What the-" He shakes his head and continues, "They look exactly like the people of the stars!"
"What are they doing here?" Luna questions him. We travel over the temple and I manage to glimpse at their arms which they hold up high. "Hey Jack, They are all signers!"
"Like us. Goodwin told me about these people," he says. "He said somehow we are all linked to The Crimson Dragon. I wonder how you two are involved since you guys have different kinds of marks than me, Yusei, and Akiza."
We look forward and see some kind of land come up. "That looks like Satellite," Jack tells us. Suddenly, a purple light shoots up from the ground and begins tearing up all the buildings and whatever else is its path.
"Oh, my…" Luna covers her mouth in fear. "What's happening?" A giant spider mark surrounds Satellite and I feel Luna hug me tighter.
"Could this be the future?" Jack questions. Then, we leave that scene and come up to another one where there is a castle. On the balcony of that one are a man and a lady. They have crowns on their heads and they both have blue marks on their arms just like me and Luna do. "The King and Queen of Spiritus." The King holds up a golden yellow sword that shines so bright and the crowd below them chants his name. The Queen does the same with a green sword and they also chant her name.
"What are they saying?" Jack questions, confused.
"They said our names," Luna says softly. She frowns and suddenly there is a scream below. The crowd begins to disperse and a black being appears below The King and Queen. He speaks and chaos breaks loose. All too soon everyone is gone and I see a little Princess Eclipse run towards the balcony from inside the castle in tears. "Mom, Dad… Where are you? Where did you go? Please come back."
Luna hugs me tighter as I hear her break into tears and sob. "That was us," I state and see Jack looking at me and Luna. "That was our past as The King and Queen of Spiritus."
He nods. "We have to finish this duel. The Crimson Dragon and that White lady won't let either of us go back until one of us wins! And whoever wins this duel will show them, they deserve the power to save the world! Are you going to be that person, Kevin?"
I nod and look at Luna. I wipe her tears away and smile softly at her. She smiles back at me and time suddenly seems to slow down. I then find Luna's soft lips on mine and I'm taken back by her actions. It doesn't take me long to respond, but I kiss her back and when we pull away from each other, she speaks in my mind. I'm with you, forever.
"Let's finish this," I nod at Jack with convention. "Go, Junk Blue Delta Dragon, Attack Red Dragon Archfiend." My dragon roars and opens its mouth. A blue stream of light shoots out and hits Jack's dragon." It rebels and hits me.
[Kevin's LP: 1100]
Luna and I yell in pain. "What the- Are you okay?" I question in worry and in fear. She smiles and nods at me. Why did that feel so real?
I'm sorry. I- She puts her hand on my face in reassurance. "It's okay. You do what you gotta do to get us back home."
I nod. "I now play the trap card, 'Draw Roulette'." I grin and draw 3 cards from my deck. "Since I took battle damage from one of my attacks and no monsters were destroyed, I'm able to draw cards from my deck equal to the number of life points I lost in multiples of 100. I place two cards face down, and by the end of my turn, I must discard all cards in my hand." I discard my Princess Star. "That does it for now."
Jack laughs. "You are nuts, Kevin. You purposely took damage to gain two more cards on your field. I like that a lot." He draws from his deck.
Jack's SP: 4
Kevin's SC: 4
"You and your girlfriend must have felt what I felt when you first attacked me," he states. "Real pain and I am going to apologize for what is going to happen next, but you wanted this so be ready to deal with it. Go Red Dragon Archfiend, attack Kevin's Stardust dragon, and destroy that so-called friendship!"
"Not on my watch Jack, I play the trap card, Synchro's Tricky." My card reveals and a protective blue light surrounds Stardust Dragon. "With this, I can redirect your attack to my Junk Blue Delta Dragon."
He raises his eyebrows, and Red Dragon Archfiend shoots out another ball of fire to Kevin's Ace. I feel Luna grip my body as it hits our dragon and we groan in pain. Junk Blue Delta Dragon shatters into yellow triangular pieces.
[Kevin's LP: 800]
"Annoying like Yusei," Junk grunts. "But at least you fight back."
"And we will keep fighting back because now that my dragon was destroyed, I can play my other trap, 'Princess Call'. This lets me special summon one of my removed from play "Junk' monsters and better yet, I call back forth Luna's Junk Blue Moon Dragon!" The card shoots out a blue light and from that light, Luna's ace appears with 2300 Attack and 2700 defense points. "Come join the party, Moon Dragon!"
Luna smiles and her dragon roars.
"I end my turn," Jack concludes.
"I draw then."
Kevin's SC: 5
Jack's SC: 5
"Due to the effect of Princess Calling, I must remove from play monsters from my graveyard that equal the same amount of levels of Luna's dragon." I grab The Tricky and Princess Tamer from my graveyard and remove them from the game.
Good. We would have taken 2000 points of damage for that one, Luna tells me.
I nod and squeeze her hand. "Jack, you want a fight so you will get one because now, I activate Princess Star's effect from the graveyard. I can remove her from play to special summon back Junk Blue Delta Dragon!" From the depth of the void, a white spec of light shines and grows to release my dragon. It roars at Jack's dragon.
Jack smiles. "Four dragons on the field. Impressive Kevin."
"And it will get more impressive because I activate Junk Blue Delta Dragon's effect. If I control another Junk Monster, I can add half of its attack points to my dragon." Luna's dragon releases a blue aura from its body which travels to my dragon and its attack points increase to 3850. "Attack Red Dragon Archfiend!" My dragon roars and shoots out a stream of Blue light.
"I will not let you win," Jack growls. "I play my face down card, 'Prideful Roar'. By paying the same amount of life points I would have taken, I can increase my monster's attack by the same amount plus 300." Jack's dragon roars and it gains attack points to 4150.
[Jack's LP: 1750]
Jack groans, but he attacks back. I frown and use my monster's effect from my graveyard. "By removing Junk Hedgehog from play, I can negate my monster's destruction."
"But you still take damage," Jack points out, "And to make sure that you do, I play my other trap card, 'Fiend Cannon'. Since my dragon attacked and your dragon was not destroyed, you take 500 life points."
"Wrong," Luna tells him.
I smile and explain, "I can reduce Moon's dragon attack points by the amount I would have taken and I can turn that damage to 0." Luna's attack points decrease to 2000. "Also her dragon gains a Protective Counter." Jack's card reveals a dragon head with a cannon on its mouth and it shoots a rock at us. A protective barrier forms around Luna and me and Moon Dragon's defense points decrease to 2200. Another Protective Counter is gained.
I sigh and take a look at the last card in my hand. This should do it, I hear Luna's voice.
Yup, because we are running out of moves. "I play one card face down and I end my turn."
Jack draws and he smiles. "Are you ready to lose, Kevin?"
Jack's SC: 6
Kevin's SC: 6
"Not a chance, Jack," I say back. "Bring it."
"Consider it brought! Red Dragon Archfiend, attack Kevin's Junk Blue Moon Dragon with Crimson Fire!" His dragon opens its mouth and it shoots out a stream of red fire. "Goodbye, Kevin and Luna."
"Not on my watch, I play my trap card known as 'Junk Barrier of a Thousand Pieces'. With this trap, if I control another monster that is not a "Junk" card, I can redirect that attack to Stardust Dragon." Ready? I ask Luna. She snuggles on my chest.
Yes.
Red Dragon Archfiend's attack hits me and we groan in discomfort.
[Kevin's LP: 300]
"Now the other effect of our trap, since we took damage we can increase Junk Blue Delta Dragon's attack by the same amount and that immediately causes you to end your turn." My dragon roars and its attack points increase to 3300. Jack growls and I smile, drawing another card from my deck.
Kevin's SC: 7
Jack's SC:7
"Junk Blue Delta Dragon, attack Jack's dragon," I declare. My dragon roars and shoots a blue light from his mouth. He groans in pain.
[Jack's LP: 1450]
"Jack!" I call out to him.
"Don't worry about me. Be more concerned for yourself."
"No can do, Jack. Luckily for you, due to the continuous effect of my trap card, our dragons cannot be destroyed by battle this turn." I look at the card in my hand and place it down. "I end my turn."
Jack grins and he draws.
Jack's SC: 8
Kevin's SC: 8
"I put 2 cards face down. That trap card won't last long so I attack again! And your monster won't gain any more attack points since you can't spare any more life points." I smile as Jack's dragon shoots out his attack.
"Correct, but with Luna's dragon, I can decrease her attack points by the same amount to protect them," I say. A blue dome surrounds us and we gain another Protective Counter.
"I end my turn," Jack says with a grin. "Whatever you're trying to do, won't work. On my next turn, prepare to lose."
"We will see. I draw."

We have been able to stall for a bit, but I'm worried about his face-down card, Luna says.
Yeah, I agree, and take a look at the card I just drew. But we got it. At that moment, my trap card is destroyed and my Junk Dragons switch to defense mode. "Jack, I place one more card face down and I end my turn."
"Let that be your end," Jack says as he draws another card.

Kevin's SC: 10
"Now, I call one of my favorite cards, 'The Speed Spell- End of The Storm'!" Jack exclaims. As soon as he plays it, the card appears next to him and a huge whirlwind comes from the card. "And with the power of this card, Kevin, I can now put you in your place." I feel Luna hold on to me tight and I groan. "And since first place is going to be all mine, I guess that you'll have to settle for second."
"Not possible," I counteract and raise my hand to Stardust Dragon. "With Yusei's dragon, I can counteract that move, and save us from your spell." Stardust roars and he begins to glow in a white light.
"Exactly what I wanted because now I am able to play the trap 'Sneaky Exploder'."
*Introducing Sneaky Exploder, when your opponent activates an effect that counteracts a card that inflicts effect damage, negate that effect, and destroy your opponent's card.*
"From the start, I knew Yusei card would find a way to be part of this duel," Jack admits.
He knew Yusei would give me that card so he could use it against me? I look at him in surprise.
Wow, Luna comments.
The card shoots a black arrow to Stardust which shatters into yellow triangular pieces. I frown. "That's not all because not only will I be the one to save my dragon, but you will lose all your monsters this turn." He plays another trap. "'Dark Attack'. With this, I can negate my dragon's destruction."
Oh no, Kevin, Luna pleads. "I then activate, 'Junk Counteract'. With this, If I control Junk Blue Moon Dragon, I can give her two Protective counters," which increases the total counter to 5. That's not all because I half that damage I will receive from your speed spell."
Jack growls. "That's not enough."
I grin and activate my other trap, "Princess Savior". With this, I am able to half the damage and special summon a 'Princess' monster from my deck. Let's go, Princess Faith." A beautiful white-hair silver-eyed girl with a purple staff in her hand appears with 2000 attack points and 1800 defense points. At that moment, the whirlwind around gets more intense. My dragons roar, but there is nothing I can do as they shatter into yellow triangular pieces. Luna and I hold on as we feel the pain of our loss.

"Kevin, you survived enough to hold 75 life points," Jack says in astonishment. "I was disappointed in Yusei for losing to two kids, but I can see why it was destined for him to lose to you and Luna. It was destined for you two to lose to me."
I grin and squeeze Luna's hand. "Well, now you are about to lose to a kid, so the feelings between you two will be mutual."
He raises his eyebrows. "Is that so? You have nothing. Your field is empty and you have no other cards in your hand. I still have my Red Dragon Archfiend to attack with. It's over."
"Wrong." I raise my hand. "It seems you have forgotten Luna's dragon effect. Because it was destroyed with 5 counters, I am able to grab one monster with the same level from my deck." I smile and grab my little girl. I promise you, you will never be left alone, ever again. "Princess Eclipse, come on out!"
The Queen and King will reign again. Luna tells me with a smile and some tears in her eyes.
I smile nodding and see a beautiful girl, with orange/red hair and glimmering blue eyes, appear beside us with fire coming out of her hands. She has 2200 attack and 2300 defense points. She looks at Luna and me and she smiles.
Mom. Dad.
Hey, princess. Are you ready?
She grins so big that warms my heart. I feel Luna break into tears and our daughter nods with determination. Let's take him down!
"It's still weaker than my dragon, Kevin. Go, Red Dragon Archfiend! Attack Kevin's Princess Eclipse and end this duel!" Jack declares and Red Dragon Archfiend opens his mouth once more. It shoots out another stream of red fire.
"Not a chance, Jack!" I exclaim. "I remove from play my Junk Counteract from my graveyard, which prevents Princess Eclipse from getting destroyed."
He smiles. "But you still take damage."
I frown and prepare for the inevitable. At least we will all be together. I look at Luna who smiles at me and I take her in for a hug with one of my free arms.
No, daddy! I will not let you lose. For believing in me and for having faith in friendship, I will help you win! Princess Eclipse says to me. At that moment, I see my deck begin to glow and I look at Princess Eclipse. Goodwin's gift will not be without reason so I will use my power to create a miracle. Draw, dad. Take us home!
I nod and put my fingers on the glowing yellow card. "Jack, I have a kingdom to rule, and My Queen and I will take our throne back. Due to the effect of Junk Counteract, I can draw one card, and depending on what it is, I can apply three effects." I draw and watch Goodwin's white card turn before my very eyes into a golden yellow card. It reads The Sword of Destiny.
"I play 'The Sword of Destiny', which allows me to apply the first effect. I don't take damage for the remainder of this turn."
Jack growls.
"Second effect, I can equip this card to Princess Eclipse and her attack points are doubled." I throw the card to my daughter and watch it transform into a bright yellow golden sword before she catches it and her attack points increase to 4400.
"Just like the sword The King was holding in that vision from earlier," Luna points out. Princess Eclipse nods with a smile. She swings the sword as in testing it out.
"And last effect," I tell Jack. "I can choose your Red Dragon Archfiend and decrease its attack by my Princess Eclipse original attack points." My daughter points her sword at Jack's Dragon and a white light shoots to it. When it hits, its attack points decrease to 800.
"I place one card face down and I end my turn," Jack says in defeat.
I draw.

"I don't want to hurt you Jack, but if ending this duel is the only way home then I have to attack! Princess Eclipse, attack his Red Dragon Archfiend with the Sword Of Destiny!" My daughter takes to the sky towards Red Dragon Archfiend and she prepares to attack with her sword.
Jack grins. "I activate 'Synchro Deflector'. With this, I can negate your attack and destroy your Princess Eclipse."
I grin and take a look at the card I drew. Thanks to you, Speed Warrior. We were able to do the impossible. "The last effect from The Sword of Destiny, I can discard a level 2 or lower monster from my hand to negate your trap card." I discard Speed Warrior, the first card that helped me move forward. The card that I once thought I lost but because of Luna, I still have to this very moment. "Princess Eclipse, take out the remainder of his life points!"
She nods and begins to slash the air. White and Blue lines go towards Jack's dragon and it explodes. "AHHHHH!" I hear him scream in pain.
Luna and I yell, "JACK!" Suddenly, my vision goes white and when I open my eyes again, we're back in the stadium.

No one's POV
Jack's duel runner swirls to the sides and he is thrown off his duel runner. He grunts as he hits the ground. Kevin manages to stop his duel runner and he pants hard.
"Ladies and Gentlemen," The Announcer begins to tell the audience as two holographic monsters stand still in a statue-like status over the field. Red Dragon Archfiend and Princess Eclipse stand facing each other frozen in place. Jack's dragon looks like it was roaring while Kevin's daughter stands in a fighting pose ready to take on anything, even a dragon. "We seem to be experiencing some technical difficulties at this moment. Your patience is appreciated as we try to sort this matter out." Of mic, he then says, "Can someone tell me why there is a dragon and a little girl frozen in mid-air? Get the director on the line!" Suddenly, both monsters flicker and they vanish in little white particles.
Up in the stand, Tanner exclaims, "What just happened?"
"First they were dueling, then they disappeared!" Yanagi says frantically. "Now, they're back and their monsters are gone!"
"Oh, look there!" Dexter points to the big screen over the stadium which reads,

"Jack lost," Leo suddenly says in a soft voice.
"Is that the right score?" Dexter questions in confusion.
"Kevin won. He is the champ now," Leo tells them. "I saw it all and I was there with Luna, Yusei, and Akiza." They turn to Yusei who simply nods at them.
"Huh!" Dexter and Yanagi exclaim.
Up at the tower, Goodwin and Lazar stand watching over the current events. Lazar is whimpering, confused as to what happened. "Jack lost!"
Back in the arena, Kevin gets off his duel runner and goes to Jack who is laying on the ground. "Are you okay?"
He struggles to look at him, but he says, "You beat me. I don't know how you did it, Kevin, but you are the King now."
"If any of those visions were true, none of this matters now," he tells him. "Because it looks like we all might lose. We are in danger and your city, as well as my kingdom, might be destroyed. We have to unite to stop any of that from happening."
"I'm glad I fought you, kid. That was the most fun I had since those days with Yusei." Jack sighs and he falls unconscious.
"Has anyone heard from The Director?" The Announcer's frantic voice comes through the mics. Just then, a holographic screen appears beside him with Goodwin on the other end.
"The duel's over. The winner is Kevin. Tell them all."
"Hum," he turns back to the audience and exclaims, "It's over. Kevin is our winner" Above in the sphere, Kevin's face appears. "The mysterious underdog who came from Duel Academy and has worked his way up with the help of his girlfriend, Luna." At those moments, fireworks explode in the skies. "The new king of duels who now reigns supreme. I proudly present New Domino City's newest hero: Kevin!"

A/N: I did put a few easter eggs in this chapter. Just very minor ones, but to end this here, I want to thank all of you and especially those who have favorited and followed this story these last few months. I appreciate it a lot. As I said in the last chapter, I will be taking a small break, but it won't be a break from writing. No. I actually have the next chapter in the works as we speak, but I'm thinking that the next chapter will be much shorter. I do plan to work on revising the first part of this story to make it more appealing to the community out there. It will depend because this next upcoming month, I will be really busy with life responsibilities and I just quit my current job so oof. If you do want to help me out, I would be so thankful and actually promise to put this story first.
