Chapter 24

The boys ran away from the school quickly and into the woods to escape the chaos.

"We have to leave now, we cant wait any longer," Leo told his brothers, still in slight shock from Karai's actions, did she like him? How come she never did anything before? Would she still like him if he turned back into a turtle? Ugh! He couldn't think about this right now, he had to get his brothers to safely.

"Do you think they know where the farm house is!?" Mikey asked panicked as he ran with his brothers, this was crazy! He was not expecting today to go like this at all!

"Most likely, and if not we are probably being tailed right now," Donnie told his younger brother, not sure if going back to the farm house was a good idea, but they had to, they had to get Splinter and the others. Donatello also had to collect his research or they would be starting from nothing again.

"Damn.." Raph mumbled as he kept up the rear to make sure his brothers were not attacked. They should have left sooner…none of this would have happened and they would be safe in the city.

"Doesn't matter, we have to go back, we will figure this out," Leo assured them as he kept going. If there was any possible way April and them were in danger they had to go back to get them.

They reached the farm house quickly before splitting up, "I have to get my research!" Donnie told them as they arrived.

Leo grunted, "Find, Mikey stay with Donnie and help him, Raph help me with the others," Leo ordered before quickly heading into the house. Raph growled softly as he watched his two younger brothers go into the barn before quickly following after Leo. This did not feel right..we were missing something..Raph thought worried.

"Please be careful Mikey, we don't need another accident," Donnie told his little brother worried as he carefully packed his important notes and tools into his bag.

"Careful is my middle name dude," Mikey told him amused as he packed the rest of Donnie's lab into a box so he could carry it with him.

Donnie sighed softly, "Right, well Mr. Careful, help me get this to the van," he told his not so careful brother as he put his bag on his back and picked up another box of things. The purple banded brother quickly walked to the van before opening the back and putting his box in the trunk.

"Don look out!" Mikey yelled in surprise as Donatello quickly spun around to see foot ninjas jumping out of the trees. Donnie dodged a punch before gasping when he was kicked and landed in the back of the trunk beside his box. The purple banded brother quickly pulled his legs in as the door was slammed shut.

"Mikey!" Donnie yelled and he banged on the back window as the foot surrounded his little brother. A huge black armored truck pulled up to the farm house as the ninjas looked up.

The back of the truck opened up and a man in sunglasses and a long trench coat walked out, "Bishop!" Mikey said surprised as he spun his nunchucks, fighting back the foot clan members surrounding him.

"Ah Michelangelo, I almost didn't recognize you," Bishop said in his deep calm voice before chuckling, "Are you surprised?" he asked before looking at the van as the door opened and Donnie climbed out and glared at Bishop, "Hm..Which one are you?" He asked, very curious about the situation.

"Wait, hold on Bishop, you're working WITH Shredder? You do realize he is an alien right?" Mikey said as he held his chucks. This was not good…Bishop and Shredder by themselves were bad enough.

"Don't listen to him," Karai said amused as she dropped down beside Bishop, "Now as promised, the turtles, but Leonardo and Splinter is the foot clans," she said slyly as more foot surrounded the house.

"Guys…" April said as she stepped outside with the others.

"Please stay back Miss. O'Neal," Bishop said as his soldiers stepped out of the truck, "No humans..born humans, will have to be hurt," he said before nodding to his men as the moved forward, "I need them alive," He said as his men started to fire tranquilizers at the group.

"There is a truck in the back," Casey told the four on the porch as the boys pulled out their weapons, "Come on April, Splinter," he said as he took Aprils hand.

Leo nodded hearing Casey, "Yeah get them out of here, will catch up," he told them as he held his swords up and went with Raph to help buy some time for the others to get away.

"Be careful my sons," Splinter told them before going back into the house to head to the back.

Donatello hurried over to his brothers as he fought off a few ninjas with his hands, "I need a weapon Leo," he told his brother, he was never the best at hand to hand combat. Donnie gasped when Leo tossed him his sword, "Use this for now," Leo ordered him. Sometimes he wished his bow could be carried around easier so he could keep it on him like the others usually could, "Right," Donnie said as he shifted the sword around slightly before clashing it with one of the foot ninjas in combat.

Bishop looked around as they surrounded the turtles turned human, he had a few men in the back to take care of the rat, but that was not what he was after, he wanted the turtles. Bishop frowned seeing the turtles were still keeping the upper hand before gasping as a truck shot out of the drive way, "The rat is your responsibility Karai," He told the female ninja who grunted before disappearing after the truck with a few ninjas, "Finish this now!" Bishop ordered his men, wanting to clear out of here and begin his study.

Leo easily forced his way towards Mikey who was being separated from his brother in the army of foot ninjas and soldiers. Leonardo's head shot up hearing Mikey cry out before dropping down and disappearing in the wave of black, "Mikey!" Leo shouted before spotting the soldier that tranquilized him and throwing his sword and lodging it into the gun.

Raph looked up hearing Leo before jumping up and jumping onto the ninja's shoulders until he was at his younger brother's side, "Come on Mikey," he said as he pulled him up and held him at his side to keep him up, "Agh!" Raph yelled when he was shot in the back. He turned around and looked at the shooter before stumbling towards him with Mikey around his arm. The red banded brother grunted as he was shot again and Mikey slipped out of his arms as he tried to take out the soldier but was shot again and dropped to the ground passed out with his youngest brother.

"Raph! Mikey!" Donnie yelled as he did his best with the weapon he was given while protecting his project on his backpack. We had to get out of here! There was no way we were going to make it without Raph and Mikey! Donnie looked around quickly before spotting Leo, "Leo! We have to go," he called to him.

"Were not leaving Raph and Mikey," Leo responded as he dodged an attack and used the foot to block any tranquilizers being shot at him.

"We have to get this to Leatherhead and make a cure so we can fight back," The purple banded brother told him as he moved towards his oldest brother. He was close to a cure and could finish it easily with Leatherheads help, then they could turn back and saved the others, "We have to give this to Leatherhead, keep it safe," Donnie told Leo and he held the bag out for him, knowing his brother would do better keeping it safe then he could.

Leo grabbed the bag as he shook his head, "No way, we can still get them," he told his brother stubbornly, not wanting to risk it, who knows what could happen if they let Bishop take them.

"Were outnumbered Leo," Donnie said worried as he stood back to back with his leader and grunted at the oncoming attacks, "If we get caught were do- ugh," The purple banded brother was cut off feeling a stinging in his neck before dropping to his knees then blacking out on the ground.

"Donnie? Donnie!" Leo looked back seeing his last standing brother hit the ground, "Damn it.." he said before looking around, Donnie was right…he had to go. Leo knocked the foot away before bending down and picking Donnie up. Leo gasped as he was kicked back and dropped his brother, "Damn it!" he yelled in frustration as he flipped back before running to the van and getting in the driver side. Leo started the vehicle up before throwing it in reverse and speeding away from the house then down the road, "Fuck!" he yelled as he hit the wheel and tears welled up in his eyes, he had to get them back…he needed to hurry.
