Oswald once told Gus, as they both where fixing a part of Wasteland.

' Let me tell you all about the time I was sold for a Poker Game Gus! '

Oswald in sarky voice said it almost sounded like Oswald was joking. Who would take anyone Serious with that Tone of Voice!

" Is this just one of your Tall Tale's Oswald? "

Gus was not in mode to hear another lie!

" Yep the Tallest Tale ever! "

Oswald grinned his Cheshire Cat smile!

"It's about Love and Betrayal and the handsome hero who was tragically Misunderstood! "

Gus the Gremlin rolled his eyes and didn't believe a word Oswald said.

Gus went back to fixing one of the pipes.

But what Gus didn't know was that for once Oswald was telling the Truth for once!

Only Oswald just dramatized the story a little!

Here's what really happened to Oswald years after, Walt Disney, Ub Iwerks, and Mickey left Universal!

What did Oswald have to go threw till his Luck ran out?

How did Oswald lose his fame?

Was it really Mickey's fame that made Oswald forgotten?

So Bad that made Oswalds cartoon's such a bore to watch?

So Is Oswald falsely putting the Balme on Mickey?

even though The people in the production of Oswald films where Incompetent artist's and story teller's?

So what happened during those years Walt Disney and UB Iwerks left?

The studio Universal had lost there key animator Ub Iwerks and there key story teller Walt Disney!

(Remember Walt Disney was a terrible artist! It's only few times we as fans actually see Walt Disney's art! The best way to see Walt Disney art is in the film "Laugh-O Grams Little Red Riding Hood 1922". Walt forced Artist to draw even thoguh himself was not a good artist! No it was Ub Iwerks the key animator redrew Walt Disney's Ideas! they where for a while, a perfect team, since they where Teenager's together! till there argument that made Ub Iwerks leave Walt Disney! )

Oswald would make years of films without Walt Disney and UB Iwerks!

Those Oswald Films lasted year 1928 up the end of Oswald in year 1938!

And Charles Mintz was the film Producer of Oswald the lucky Rabbit.

But animators didn't want to work for Charles Mintz anymore! The Animators where mad at Charles Mintz! Those Animators where Hugh Harman and Rudolf Ising

So the Animators asked the Universal President for help Carl Leammle. The other Animators wanted these two people Hugh Harman and Rudolf Ising to be the animation directors.

But Carl Leammle didn't listen!

Carl Leammle put a unknown Walter Lance as the film Producer of Oswald!

Carl Leammle might of Listened to the other animators, if it wasn't for one Game that happened!

Walter Lance wagered that if he could beat Carl Leammle in game of Poker, that Oswald would be his!

Walter Lance won!

Walter Lance Oswalds won the contract rights of Oswald in just a Poker Game!

I wish I knew the details of the Poker game where Oswald rights where changed.

I Surprised hardly anyone talks about this great Poker Game Challenge!

This is unheard of today!

A young Animator Challenging his own Boss to a game of Poker!

People bet money not Cartoons!

I myself would love to go back in time and watch legendary game in progress!

Now before you go on and hate Walter Lance, Walter Lance knew Oswald was a creation of Walt Disney!

This is just rumor I heard I could be worng.

But Walter Lance wanted to ask Disney for permission to have Peg leg Pete still in the Oswald shorts.

Walt Disney didn't care about Oswald anymore but he gave Walter Lance permission to have Peg leg Pete still in the Oswald films!

It was almost like Walter Lance wanted Oswald cause secretly he was a fan of Walt Disney's work?

But Walter Lance changed many things about Oswald!

But Walter Lance got a very important animator Bill Nolan!

Bill Nolan had worked previously on the background of Felix the cat and Krazy Kat!

Nolan will still be known as perfecting the style of "rubber hose" Style Animation!

So Oswald animation was moved to Universal lot!

Lance first Produce Oswald short was in September "Race Riot" 1929.

But in 1935 Nolan left working with Walter Lance. But as of that year Walter Lance was a independent Producer.

Walter Lance owes his first part of Success thanks to Oswald!

But Walter Lance wanted his own cartoons to make not Oswald!

Oswald was become less popular.

So Walter Lance first made the cartoons Meany, Many, and Moe, Baby-Face Mouse, Snuffy Skunk, Doxie, And Jock and Jill (Monkey's that looks like copy's of Warners Bros, Bosko)

But for a while Andy Panda 1938 to 1940 was a short hit!

But wait didn't I say Oswald Universal films lasted till 1938?

Yes! Andy Panda marks the end of Oswalds film career!

Walter Lance stopped making Oswald Film's!

After nine years Oswald had retired!

But not full retirement!

But Oswald would get, cameo roles in other Walter Lance Cartoons, and a few Oswald comics published, and reruns of Oswald cartoons on Television.

This marks a sad point in Oswalds Life!

Now most fans don't consider any of these Oswald films canon to Oswalds story!

No this fanfic is different!

All these films of Oswald the producer's of Charles Mintz and Walter Lance did happen!

Even if we the fans want to ignore it!

And even if Oswalds personalty was so Unrecognizable to point where you couldn't even see Oswald anymore!

Even the Oswald Theme song comes from that point in Oswald's films!

And yes the Disney Company now singings that song!

So even the new Disney Company considers this point in Oswalds history that it actually happened!

But more about Walter Lance!

I must paint a picture at this point Walter Lance needed a new star soon Andy Panda didn't do so good.

But Walter Lance made a side character for Andy Panda in 1940, this side character would soon get there own cartoon and become Woody the Woodpecker!

Woody the Woodpecker would become Universal mascot not Oswald.

Did Oswald know Woody?

Why yes just type in Woody Woodpecker and Oswald in google and you will get Oswalds redesign look with Woody Woodpecker!

Now before Oswald was ended, Walter Lance would redesign Oswald many times!

Many of these redesign's looked creepy.

This is the part we cut this history Lesson reader's, to a scene with Woody talking to Oswald!

By this point Oswald is in his last redesign!

Oswald has been turned into a White Rabbit!

But like every redesign in this fanfic, Oswald wearing the redesign like mascot Costume!

So For even redesign Oswald got, Oswald had to wear a mask to hide his real face!

This conversation takes place during the times Oswald had to hide his real face back when Woody ruled Universal studios with Iron Fist!

Back when Woody the Woodpecker cartoon show TV show was hit with the kids at the time of this conversation!

Woody the Woodpecker Ruled Universal as the best Mascot Universal Owned at the time!

All Toons in Universal had to follow Woody the Woodpecker's ever Wim. And order!

Even Oswald was Woody's slave!

I meant Boss not slave!

Or is it really a Boss when It is more like a slave?

Woody had gone to back room in the studio where everything was dusty!

Woody didn't want to do this but this, old Toon was causing trouble again!

And Woody had had it!

It was time this old Toon knew his place!

This Toon wasn't even made by his father Walter Lance!

This old Toon was made by that Mouse creator! Woody could never say thats Mouse's name Woody hated that Mouse with boring passion!

But, It was a oh so sad story!

A sob story about a Toon being abandon by his father to go to a another company!

But this Toon hated the mouse as well?

Maybe it was the only reason Woody Tolerated the Rabbit!

Woody did like the old Rabbit.

When The Rabbit did follow orders!

The Rabbit getting him coffee or serving him hand and foot!

And The Rabbit was a good teacher! Woody learned much about Dancing, Singing, and how to play Interments Woody didn't know. And when Woody would go to bed at Night Oswald would tell story's about the silent film toons of Old and how to go to Toon Town and how he was there to see it very beginning!

And Woody did feel sorry at first for the old Rabbit!

but now Woody was tried of keeping this has bin in line!

This Rabbit was so Old and smelly!

Woody had real closer friends then Oswald!

So without knocking Woody went inside the Store Closet of Oswald.

Slam went the door when it opened!

Oswald made a little twitch. Oswald was dreading Woody's appearance!

Oswald would never say it out loud but the the young toon Bird was more egotistical and selfish then he was when Oswald was a new star!

Oswald didn't even make a noise when Woody opened the door!

" Take your Mask off so I can talk to your real Face Rabbit! "

Without talking Oswald slowly lifted the Mascot head off his face.

Poor Oswald hated being a white Rabbit!

Oswald was a black Rabbit not a white Rabbit!

Oswald knew he would get it if he complained. Oswald learned a long time ago not to talk unless spoken to or asked a question.

The best way to describe Oswald's real face is the face of a broken man, I mean Rabbit Toon.

Oswald didn't even turn his head when Woody Spoke only bowed his head in shame.

" Look Oswald you Keep on being redesign! each new one creeps children out! Leave the acting to the new Toons! Also you smell in those skin Costumes's! Do you want to end up like Krazy Kat! Or ANDY the Panda? "

There was moment silence.

Oswald didn't voice his thoughts but silently he thought to himself.

' So where all the redesign's for Nothing? '

" Answer me when Im talking to you! "

Woody screamed an slapped Oswalds face.

With Oswalds face still stinging from the slap, In meek small voice Oswald said.

" Yes.. Woody. "

Woody shook his head, It was like talking to a brick! With this Rabbit! How did this Rabbit stay here so long!? And so Woody begin his long anger rant. Woody felt good taking all his anger at Oswald. Oswald didn't say anything as he took all the Verbal abuse..

"Oswald!

I heard you wanted to leave my Music Band!

if you won't be in my music band anymore!

There's no reason to keep you! Remember Oswald You are expendable!

nobody wants another Rabbit Toon star in Universal!

Bugs Bunny already fits that space!

And 'Father Lance' is tired of redesign you to attract attention!

The Children and Fans don't want you anymore!

Your to old!

Your redesign's are Awful!

What this Studio Needs is new Star!

Someone like me!

Universal needs someone like me a Woodpecker!

'Warner Brother's Studio's' Merrie Melodies also Looney Tunes needs a Rabbit, called Bugs Bunny!

'Harvey studio' needs a Ghost, Casper!

Fleischer Studio's needs, Betty Boop a go gal and a Sailor, Popeye!

And 'Disney Company' Needs a —"

Oswald cut in. " Don't say it! "

Woody being the insensitive person he was said it. " —Yes Im saying it! That Company Needs a Mouse, Mickey Mouse! "

Oswald howled in defeated voice.

" That's it!

Were through Woody!

Im done!

Im never going to get a cartoon made of me again so might as well go! "

Dumb struck Woody questioned. " Where will you go? "

"Anywhere but Universal! "

" Look you cant Leave! "

Woody began to stomp on the ground like a child he was!

" You belong to me! You belong to this Studio! this company! You have a contract you cant ever leave Oswald! "

Woody went to slap Oswald again! But Woody hands stopped before he could slap Oswald again! Woody looked deep into Oswald's eyes, Oswalds eyes where full of fear. But Woody felt no sympathy for the Rabbit, only joy of the black Rabbit's face of fear! It was then Woody knew he would not Lose his salve! Woody lowered his hands he would not slap Oswald this time! Woody smiled an evil smile, Oswald would soon fall into his hands! No Woody had a better idea!

Woody pat softly Oswald on the head, then kissed the top of Oswalds head! Oswald was to shocked at Woody's behavior! And disgusted by the kiss! Oswald knew Woody never acted this way when other's where around! This is why Oswald hated being alone with Woody! Cause when they where both alone Oswald could see Woody narcissist, Possessive, lustful Freak! Oswald wasn't fooled one bit! Woody didn't love him! Woody only loved control! Oswald vowed this day he would escape this Crazed Bird!

" My precious Bunny! Im going to leave you now! in this closet! to give you some time to think about what you did! I hope to soon hear your Apology! So until you say your sorry, I make sure they wont feed you! Your a Toon it's not like you need to eat! "

Woody slammed and locked the door behind him!

As Woody left he felt better he had shown love not violence and maybe he'd steal a kiss form that Rabbit again it's not like he can get anyone to help him!

Poor Oswald! His only thoughts where as Woody left, was someday I will get back to ToonTown!

And leave Universal!

It would take years for Oswald who was so lost, to find ToonTown only to fall down into the deepest hole that would become WasteLand!

There Oswald would find long lost Toons he hadn't seen in years!

Oswald truly hadn't seen Sadie aka Ortensia in years!

Lance had tried on more then one occasion to make a new girlfriend for Oswald. So Oswald knew his lips where tainted with the lips of other woman. It felt worse then when drunk Felix kissed him! At least later Felix said he was sorry! Oswald truly hated this Woodpecker!

But How did Oswald in the past escape Woody's Clutches?!
