Young Mickey's Long Lost Dream:
Young Mickey of the 1940s was having a nightmare that started out as a good dream.
The dream started off good.
But it was like looking at world distorted through water!
Little young Mickey sat in the Rabbit's lap as the Black Rabbit told a story to Mickey.
The Rabbit was telling him a story!
It was story about a Hero Rabbit who followed a Magical Cat to another World!
All the Rabbit had to do, was call the cat on the telephone and he'd be there!
Like magic!
But this Town was new of sleeping magic!
The Cat and many other Toons where working together to make this world!
The Cat an Toons did it all together with there magic, they all could muster!
The Cat then told the Rabbit what the Town was for.
"Soon this Town would become a place just for all of us! For Toon's to live in harmony! A place for Toon's to leave there studio's and be free to be themselves! A place for them to find safety from Human's! It was to be paradise for Toon's! "
But There was problem!
The Cat thought he was more Free of human's then any other Toon!
Truth was the Cat wasn't!
The Cat was a prisoner of his own making!
The cat allowed the humans to control his feelings of Love and friendship!
The Rabbit tried to make friends with the Cat!
But the Cat was cold hearted.
The Rabbit soon realised he could not help the cat and that made the Rabbit sad.
But then a wondrous thing happened!
A giant gentle Toon Dinosaur came!
Her foot step's like Thunder in the distance!
The Toon Dinosaur had a mission to do!
She the Dinosaur took the new Heart of the Town, down a tunnel to earths core to stoke the fire of life in the Town!
The Rabbit was still mad at the cat but the Rabbit stayed in hopes the Toon Dinosaur didn't die!
After hours of waiting it happened!
The Town was brought to life with music!
Every Cartoon Partied and Celebrated the Dinosaur's Triumph!
Only for the Dinosaur never to seen again!
And sadly the Cat and the Rabbit stopped being friend's.
Little mickey cried no! NO! But to young to speak out they should of stayed friends! The Dinosaur should of not been left alone in the Earths core!
But story teller only said to Mickey in sad voice.
" Remember Mousey Not all Fairy Tales have a happy ending! But remember this! We should not let the Dinosaur's quest be in vain! the Dinosaur made it possible for a world to made just for you Mousey! So If ever you feel alone or feel the need to run away from the studio you live in! Or if there's any human is mistreating you! Just call these Number's and I will be right there in ToonTown Looking for you Mousey! "
Then the Rabbit story teller whispered the Telephone number to Him!
Suddenly the Rabbit started to disappear!
No not disappear melt away!
Melt away like dripping ink!
But as the Rabbit melted away he only smiled at Mickey and said.
"Goodbye Mousey little Bro—"
Sobbing Little Mickey tried to grab the Rabbit but he only melted more!
" No! No! Nnononononononono! Come back! Come Back! Oswa! "
Only for 1940s Mickey wake up from his bed sweating bucket's! Screaming!
Oh Golly!
It was only a dream!
Or Was it?
Mickey got up from his bed walked to the telephone and before he lost the Courage he called the number!
Suddenly Mickey was sucked into the Telephone line Mickey traveled what felt like miles!
Only to find himself inside a Telephone Booth!
With Mickey still in his Night Jammie's Mickey found himself in a Town?
But not just any town, it was ToonTown!
There was Party's, Dancing, Games, Food, and Delight!
And all of them where Toons like him!?
Mickey Dance in his Jammie's all night long!
Mickey didn't know how to get back home to his own studio?!
Mickey started to panic!
Till One Cat Toon told Mickey just call your own Phone number and you'll be sent back home!
Only for the Cat Toon to disappear into the sea of Party Toons Dancing!
But Mickey never got to ask for that Cat Toons Name!
(You know who that cat is!)
The next day Mickey showed all his friends this place of Toon Town!
Mickey later realised if not for that Dream, he would of never found ToonTown!
Maybe Dreams do come true!
But parts of the Dream Mickey couldn't remember?
Mickey still felt like he was missing someone?
Young 1940s Mickey Not remembering it was the Rabbit in his dream?
And Mickey could only question.
Why did it always feel like Mickey was looking for someone in ToonTown?
Mickey but never finds them!?
Mickey would tell ton's of his Toon friends about ToonTown!
But Mikey only felt like he should remember something?
Only to tell himself it was not Important.
Maybe thats why years later, when Mickey first saw Oswald in Wasteland he didn't hesitate to chase him?
Like Alice chasing the white Rabbit thew Wonderland!
Mickey was like 'Alice'.
but Mickey chased a black Rabbit threw Wasteland to 'Mickey Junk Mountain' instead of Wonderland!
End of Mickeys Dream Intro:
Introduction:
Where we last Left Oswald in the last chapter!
Only in sad State!
Young 1940s Oswald was left in closet without food or water by Woody Woodpecker!
I wish I could say Oswald found a way to escape Woody Woodpecker!
That Felix or someone would come save Oswald from peril!
No Felix nor anyone would be able to save Oswald in year's!
Remember Yen Sid Wizard who made the world that would later become Wasteland came out in Fantasia. Yes Disney's Fantasia came out in year 1940. But it would take years for Yen Sid Wizard to learn about Oswalds Existence! Also Disney's Fantasia did terrible in Theater's. Yen Sid Wizard would have to deal with the fact that he himself was a unloved Toon! Yen Sid Wizard would have to find a way to keep himself from not Disappearing! Yen Sid Wizard never admit's his faults! But in truth Yen Sid Wizard looked for years for Oswald! Cause Only Oswald's will could Sustain lost Toons like Yen Sid Wizard himself! Yes that's right Yen Sid Wizard was lier he himself was a lost Toon who had a heart so broken it was even more worse then losing one!
So sadly, Poor Oswald couldn't leave that Universal Storage closet for year's even decade's!
Please understand It's not Felix's or anyones fault!
Felix didn't even Know where Oswald was!
Felix had know idea Oswald was still alive needed someone to rescue him!
(during this time Felix wasn't making cartoons anymore only comic's in the 1930s — 1950s. Felix only made a few films in 1936. And had newspaper comics in the 1930s and 1940s then Felix only had some comic books in the 1950s and 1960's.
Only in the 1960s and 1970s did Felix get a new Cartoon where they changed Felix personality. And made new side characters based off of the silent films and 1930s comic's. )
Cause While Woody Woodpecker was not nice to Oswald.
Woody also forgot Oswald Existed half of the time!
So the truth is Woody forgot he left Oswald in Storage closet!
Woody left Oswald in the closet for month's!
Later Woody left Oswald there for years!
Sure Woody flirted with Oswald in the past.
But Woody didn't want people to know he was flirting with a guy!
Woody didn't want a bad reputation!
Homosexual romance was not expected and if any man was being rapped they could not get help!
But Woody was Prideful and felt this was the best way to show dominance to a older Toon! Woody wanted Oswald to listen to his Authority over him!
Remember this, Woody didn't love Oswald!
No!
Woody only loved Power!
And what better way to show power then make them fall in love with you!
But Woody was mad cause Oswald didn't love Woody!
And Woody did not like not being someones center of attention!
And since Oswald didn't fight back it made poor Oswald a target of Woody's Bullying!
Now why didn't Oswald fight back?
Well poor Oswald tried to tell everyone in the Studio He was being Bullied by Woody but nobody would help. And Oswald could tell the whole truth about what Woody did because it would make Oswald look bad.
But despite how Woody treated Oswald.
Oswald still felt Loyalty to Universal Studio's!
And Oswald still cared for the other Toons of Universal Studio's!
Universal Studio's was once the biggest Studio in the world!
Universal Studio's had made many Live action Film's!
Universal Studio's was famous for Films like:
"Phantom of the Opera, Dracula, Frankenstein, Invisible Man, and so much old Horror films!
Universal even owned a little part of Felix the cat silent films!
But Universal Studio's was not famous for it's cartoons!
Other Studio's took that place!
Other Studio's where much better at making cartoon's then Universal
Another not Famous Universal cartoon was Krazy Kat!
But more important really how dose Oswald escape from the clutches of Woody Woodpecker?
And what did Oswald do before become the King of Wasteland?
Oswald Prov.
It had been day's months Oswald had lost all concept of time.
Oswald had lost all hope on his Dream's.
Now what you call dreams Oswald only call visions of grandeur!
There was no dreams anymore!
Only Broken Dreams!
Following your Dreams only leaves you empty inside when you fail.
Oswald only wished for Freedom. And Oswald wondered maybe Felix's crazy idea to make a Town for Toons to leave there Studios wasn't such a bad idea after all. But there's no way Oswald could get back into ToonTown without someone to help him get out of this place!
How long would he be trapped in there?
But Truthfully Oswalds pain was going to only grow.
For Oswald was about to make a deal with the dealer of 'SIN'!
One would argue Oswald did it for his freedom!
Making this deal was Oswald's only way out of that closet!
Look this is the only person who could of helped Oswald at the time!
Oswalds Notes:
Heres the list of people who couldn't help Oswald!
Wizard Yen Sid of Fantasia hadn't been made yet so he couldn't help! (or Fantasia become forgotten yet)
Felix didn't have a clue Oswald was trapped!
So Maybe Sadie aka Ortensia could helped Oswald?
No! Sadie couldn't help she was trapped herself!
Oswald saw what Woody had did to Ortensia!
Ortensia was locked away as well!
Yes Oswald had another reason to hate Woody!
Woody didn't want Oswald distracted by any woman!
Even if this woman had been Oswald's friend and girlfriend for years!
Now I don't expect you remember this small lost Toon, I only briefly explained him..
He's much older then Felix, Oswald and Mickey!
But just because he's older doesn't make him wise Only Crazy!
Sure he helps Oswald because we must remember he does nothing for free!
Oswald would have to pay a great price!
But you will remember this small Lost Toon who helped Oswald Because he's going to cause great problems for Mickey and friends in future!
For this small Toon learned to hate Mickey thanks to Oswald!
Oswald Prov.
Oswald curled up into a ball that looked like of dust bunny in the corner of the closet.
Then Oswald heard it!
A small rattling noise threw the air duck's!
It seemed like to get closer and closer till it fell out of the ventilation system!
It was a small mouse?!
But Oswald got a look at the mouse this mouse was not just any mouse this mouse was 'Ignatz mouse'
Oswald was dumfounded and speechless as Oswald had not talked in months or heard the voice of another in years!
" Shit! Ow that hurt's my Head Bad! Oh my head hurt's! Krazy when I find you—-Your getting a /Brick—to the head! "
Ignatz mouse turned his head to look at Oswald.
" Krazy This is your fault! Why do you talk me into these things! Wait—! your not that cat—Kat,—Krazy! Your that Krazy lookalike Rabbit! Why?!—Why, do they all have to look like that Kat!?Oh whats your name OZ, Ozald, um Oswald! That's right! "
Oswald was bout to open his mouth to talk but got interrupted. The mouse Ignatz waved his hand in front of Oswald.
" No don't talk! my head still hurt's! "
And so the small mouse continued to shout all the curse's under the sun! With a sailors mouth that needed to wash with soap.
Oswald was in shock! NO not him! this person would never help him?! Why did it have to him of all people! It well known everywhere Ignatz is jerk a asshole!
Oswald knew who this mouse was, but his lips where locked in fear!
This mouse was a dangerous one piss off!
Cause if you made this mouse, mad at you, then you'ed have to deal with Ignatz's rival Krazy Kat!
Those two are known for there rivalry and unrequited Love! Considering Krazy was in love with Ignatz. And Ignatz is known for rejecting Krazy's that idea fully! But the problem was those two continued to be Inseparable! Even when Krazy Kat had to changed there personalty in the cartoon's ( a cartoon all the fans of the comic's hated) Ignatz still stood by the Kat by pretending to be a woman?! Ignatz even changed his name in cartoons so no-one would take the Kat away! There Relationship was a mess of hate, love triangle, Friendship, and it only looked like Insanity to the world!? Oswald did not want to find himself caught up in That mess?! And Yes Oswald knew his cartoon style was based off of Krazy Kat! because Walt Disney was a fan of the Krazy Kat comics!
So Krazy Kat was like the Inspiration for Oswalds Style! And the Inspiration for style of Felix and others!
And so Oswald did not want to make someone like Krazy mad at him!
Why?
Cause Oswald felt a deep sense of respect for Krazy!
Despite how much Krazy Kat was annoying!
Say the wrong word and it's curtains for him!
No!
Oswald was getting out of this place one way or another!
And what better why then to stroke this mouse's ego!
Ignatz was known everywhere for having a ego who loved to hear complement's about himself.
Oswald hadn't used his voice in a long time so it sounded horse.
" …Are you feeling better..? "
" Thanks for noticing bunny! "
Oswald tried to hold in his anger at being called bunny! He was a rabbit! But he couldn't hide his anger!
" Im a Rabbit not a Bunny! There's a big difference! "
" I call em what I see em! Buster! Better get used it! "
" I just hate to being called a Bunny when Im a Rabbit! "
" Well your pretty small for a Rabbit! "
" I cant help it if I was drawn small! "
That seemed to set Ignatz off.
" You don't know the meaning of the word small! Ive been small my whole creation! living in a Big world my whole life! I fight against it all! You know how many people of all kinds always step on me or walk all over me! Always the tall people decide on how I want to live my Life! You know how much that makes me mad everyday! You know nothing About what Ive gone through! "
" Your right I don't know! But that doesn't mean you know everything of what Ive gone threw! Ive lost all my family and friends! My father's abandon me, and left me for another Toon mouse! Ive had my own life betted on in a poker game! Only to get thrown away in this closet trapped for years! Where the only person who visits me only comes to torment me—! And just when I find new love of my life she's taken away from me from my tormenter! Now im trapped here and I cant help her! "
Oswald covers his mouth with his hands and curls into a ball sobbing. There's no way this mouse is going to help him!
Ignatz was in shock, He was no comforter or hugger, That was Krazy's job! And seeing a Toon having a meltdown was not in Ignatz's list of things to do today. Maybe this bunny was joking him and lying? That's when Ignatz looked around this closet for the first time. And Ignatz realized this Bunny, no Rabbit wasn't lying! Looking around the place it was full of dust and decay! OH God this was horrifying! Ignatz didn't want to deal with this today! but if he left this Rabbit here, he would see it in his nightmare's! Ignatz was no Hero that was Krazy Kat's job, not him! Ignatz wouldn't apologize! but Ignatz didn't want to do this! but Ignatz had to get Krazy Kat to help this poisoner Bunny. Ignatz knew what it was like to be put in jail. Officer Bull Pup, had put Ignatz in jail to many time's to count. But Ignatz always found a way to escape form Jail. But to be trapped for years was nightmare fuel!
" Look I'll get you help, but you owe me big time, you understand that, Rabbit!? "
Ignatz said with stern voice.
Without looking up Oswald nodded his head.
" Good!— Now wait here! "
And Ignatz ran inside the ventilation system.
After the mouse had left oswald said to himself.
" Im always waiting it seems. "
Oswald knew Ignatz would hold him to it. That meant Ignatz would want favor from Oswald. And Oswald didn't like that one bit. But even making a deal with someone bad like Ignatz was better then having to deal with Woody the Woodpecker's wrath!
So what seemed like hours and it probably was hours considering Ignatz had gotten lost on the air ducks and he had find Krazy Kay, then Ignatz had to try and talk to Krazy Kat without Ignatz yelling at Krazy for being so stupid!
Then Krazy and Ignatz had to find the right closet Ignatz that had Oswald in it! Then Held Ignatz up so he could use his lock picking skills.
The closet door was finally unlocked!
Oswald was about to yell for joy!
But both Krazy Kat and Ignatz held there finger to there mouth to be quiet!
They still didn't know if someone was going to stop them!
With a blank face Krazy grasp Oswalds wrist in vice like grip.
Oswald hand hurt, Krazy's had know idea of there own strength!
So they ran except for Ignatz who was siting or holding onto Krazy's shoulder.
They ran down many hallways and sometime's they had to walk slowly So not to squeak the floor boards. And few times Oswald had to stay hidden while Krazy Kat distracted the humans! Then the three of them opened another door inside the room was old phone on table and a chair. It was one of those old telephone's where you had to turn to put the numbers in the telephone.
Tiny Ignatz hopped on the table.
There was someone out side the door Krazy went to go out the door.
Krazy left the room after Krazy nodded at Ignatz.
Then Ignatz said in stern but Aggravated whisper.
"Rabbit Hurry put in the phone number! While Krazy buys us time! "
" …What Phone number? .."
" YOU know witch one!"
It Dawned on Oswald with number to dial!
So Rabbit dialed the number as fast as his sweaty finger's would turn!
" Hurry there coming! "
" Im hurrying! "
Just as Oswald was to spin the last number, the doorknob was turning and the door was just about to about to open!
The door flung open
It was Woody Woodpecker he opened the door!
But nobody was inside the telephone room so Woody closed the door.
Oswald had escaped to you know where ToonTown!
How long would freedom last?
