Chapter 37- There's a Lost Land Echo

The cost was finally clear after a few months of being locked inside this safe house!
During that time of Waiting Oswald only got to see Krazy Kat a few time's. Oswald knew Krazy Kat worked in the same studio of Universal like Oswald. But Krazy Kat was still busy with both a comic and cartoons to make! Oswald didn't have a cartoon to make anymore, but Oswald did have some comics and cameo's to make. Oswald did see see Woody briefly during those time's but aways ran back to Krazy's safe house before Woody could talk or find Oswald. And Oswald always used new magic as a way for Oswald to get away from Woody. Turns out not just Telephones wires a toons can got threw. But any TV Screen or Mirror. Oswald had masted the way of jumping threw Mirrors as a way to get away form Woody Wood pecker or anyone else. Honestly at this point Oswald was more afraid of meeting up with Woody's Wrath anger then having to see someone like Felix the cat or Koko the clown.
Oswald was annoyed at Koko for putting him on the spot without have gotten to know him! Koko basically made Oswald part of a contract! Oswald wanted no part of!
But Oswald still felt betrayed most by Felix! So any hero crush Oswald once had on Felix, they had died! Oswald once thought the Cat Felix couldn't make any mistakes! But clearly Felix had made a big mistake! Felix was no hero to Oswald anymore! But somewhere deep down in his heart Oswald, wanted Felix to still be his friend! Oswald wished he could of been Friends with Felix. Could they even still be friends? A Cat who brings Bad Luck and a Rabbit who brings Good Luck (more like hard Luck)?
Also Oswald still didn't know what he was going to say to Sadie (Ortensia) or Peg leg Pete if he saw them again! Oswald was scared what to say?! Oswald missed those two the most! Since Oswald spent the most time with both of them in the past. Those two Toon's where like family to Oswald! How did they get so close? Well, It all started during the time Oswald was making his Charles Mintz cartoons. Thats when Peg leg Pete started to talk to Oswald again. Sadie (Ortensia) set it all Up! Sadie was tired of Pete and Oswald not talking to each other! So Sadie hatched a plan! Sadie forced her two boys to talk out there feeling's! Both boys Not wanting to make Sadie mad, so they sucked up there manly pride and talked to each other!
Peg Leg Pete apologized for Ignoring Oswald. Oswald just wanted to know why Pete was ignoring him? Pete confessed to Oswald he was just mad that Julius had died. And he didn't like that Oswald was trying to replace Julius. Oswald cried Pete he did not want to replace Julius! That Pete was not the only one, who lost Julius! Oswald lost Julius as a older brother to! Turns out both of them missed Julius!
Pete then apologized for taking out all his anger on Oswald.
Pete bagged Oswald to forgiving him for blaming Oswald. Oswald said he would forgive Pete, if Pete would try his best to make it up to him.
Both Pete and Oswald started to cry. Pete was crying how sorry was was.
Only for Sadie to yell out "You to morons hug it out now! Cleary you both care for one another! " Sadie had heard stories about Julius but she never met him but she felt like she wished she knew him. She hatted seeing her boys so sad. Sadie only hopped she would never have to deal with that loss!
And so Oswald and Pete hugged a manly awkward hug.
Ever since then Peg Leg Pete was nicer to Oswald. They also found a way to bond together, since Both Oswald and Pete had a hatred for the Mouse Mickey! and they both seemed to bond over Gossip bashing on the mouse! Peg Leg Pete would both work on films with Oswald and Mickey Mouse! Because of this Peg Leg Pete had to make ink Duplicates of himself.
But the boy's both agreed not to talk about there hatred to much around Sadie (Ortensia) since they both noticed how much she didn't like Bullying Mickey as she would call it.
This all happened before Oswald was captured by Woody Woodpecker and thrown into the closet before Oswald became king of Wasteland or the thinner disaster.
Later Peg Leg Pete still had his job at the Disney Company but he couldn't find his lost friends! Pete looked everywhere for Oswald and Sadie (Ortensia)! Poor Peg Leg Pete was hurt that he couldn't find his lost friends! Pete heart was blacking to hatred. Pete blamed himself he failed to protect Julius! Now Pete failed to protect Oswald and Sadie (Ortensia)!
and it only made Pete hate in his heart grow stronger! Pete hated more any new Toons Cast at Disney Company! Pete couldn't be kind to any Disney Toons for years. Only till Goofy softened Petes heart a little bit in 'The Goof Troop'
Sadly the truth was years later Peg Leg Pete's ink Duplicates of himself would find Oswald in Wasteland.
While the real Peg Leg Pete thought for year's Oswald and Sadie (Ortensia) where dead!

All the Wasteland Peg Leg Pete's where fake!
The real Peg Leg Pete never got to see his friends again!
Peg Leg Pete for Centuries, hasn't seen his three friends!
Pete thinks Julius, Oswald, and Sadie (Ortensia) all his friends are dead.
Peg Leg Pete is the oldest Disney Toon yet he is forgotten because he's a side Character antagonist….
Pete cries as he talks to himself as he looks at old photos of his old friends with sorrow.
"You right Sadie. Despite how much We argued, You guys where my best Friends. I miss you Oswald and your (cute) Temper. I miss you Sadie and her voice of Reason. Most of all I miss Julius and his Dumb Pranks… And I miss my Boat..
My Heart only feels Pain Rusted over…

Should Peg Leg Pete meet Oswald, Sadie (Ortensia), and Julius, after years of not seeing them? Should the other Peg Leg Pete's learn they are only Duplicates that can disappear at any moment?

But back to past of Oswald adventure's of the 1940s living at Krazy Kats safe house.
So Oswald was running away form his problems by staying at Krazy Kat's Safe House and Ignatz's the mouse.
While Krazy looked secretly around for Sadie aka Ortensia. Krazy Kat couldn't visit Peg Leg Pete since he was owned by the Disney Company. Oswald did ask if there was a way to contact Peg Leg Pete with a letter? Oswald kept on writing letter's to Peg Leg Pete but there was no answer. Turns out the Disney company was throwing away any letter Peg Leg Pete got! So Peg Leg Pete never got Oswalds Letter's!
Oswald couldn't look for his friends himself, because he wasn't living in the studio anymore.
Oswald was stuck!
Oswald was getting restless of being confined in one tiny house!
He wanted Out!
Yet the chance of being caught by Woody Woodpecker was even worse!
Oswald didn't want to be thrown back into that stuffy closet.
So Oswald was laying Low!
Thats what you do when your Rabbit on the Run from your studio contract!
But we should know what the first morning waking up in the safe house, was like for Oswald? What was the Safe House Real purpose?
Oswald was going to learn the harsh truth what Krazy Kat and Ignatz the mouse had to deal with!
Honestly, it was Similar to what Oswald had to go threw with the Mascot costume to redesign Oswalds Character.
Only A army cot bed is all that was soft in the safe house.
So Oswald was for once not sleeping on the floor in the dusty closet.
To Oswald a army cot bed felt less hard and more like sleeping on a cloud.
So Oswald slept what he didn't know was hours almost the whole day away.
Poor Cute Bunny was tuckered out! I meant Cute Rabbit! Since Oswald doesn't want to be called Bunny…
Only for the Rabbit to Wake up to the oddest and most creepy room ever!
Ink Splatters every where!
There was Cartoon mascot heads shelf's mascot costumes hanging on coat hanger's in the closest!?
A Vanity mirror but ink painted words on the surface written 'Not the Real Me!' With the mirror crossed out with a large ' X '?!
A Vanity mirror with all different types of Makeups or Ink? An little latter leading up to the Vanity mirror?
But worse there was a dog or Cat girl Creepy Doll or Robot? (Later Oswald would learn this is Mecha Suit not a Robot. you see where this going?) there was another little latter leading up to the top of the doll?
Yep the doll was very same Girl who was Krazy Kats girlfriend in the cartoons?! Her name was Kitty-Kat same name as Felix's ex wife Kitty-Kat?
Later Oswald would learn Kitty-Kat was only robot being controlled by Ignatz?! Oswald would learn this later in his stay at Krazy and Ignatz safe house.
Only thought on Oswalds mind was "What a Creepy place?"
And later Oswald would learn there was no electricity in this safe house only candles and fire place.
As Oswald stumbled out of the cot bed, the bed made a creaking noise,
Oswald could see in the next room a fire place the only light was from the fire lighting up the room Oswald was in.
"Oh your finally awake? " yelled the mouse in the next room.
"Come for Dinner! " yelled another voice.
Oswald knew who that voice was!
The was no door only a archway to walk threw. The archway had painted on top 'Faker'?
but once Oswald looked into to Kitchen Oswald's face was sleepy but if he was awake Oswald would be grossed out at the mess, yet Oswalds nose was happy from the smell that smelled so good!
There was Krazy Kat cooking some type of food Oswald never smelled before?!
what Oswald would learn later was Navajo fry bread?
It smelled so Divine, so good to the hungry Rabbit!
Only The Kitchen looked like a mess?!
Just like the table!
Just like the rest of the house!
It looked like a messy Bachelor pad. The Kitchen looked like a mess like the rest of the house!
Even the chimney looked messy.
"Please, Sit down Oswald your Dinner will be done soon!" Krazy Kat stated.
Ignatz Snarky told Oswald "I ate your Breakfast and Lunch By the Way! Cause you didn't wake up!"
Oswald sat down ate what felt like years of not eating. Oswald was a Toon he didn't need to eat but eating still gave a Toon strength.
And that was Oswalds start of living at the safe House. Krazy Kat and Ignatz didn't live there so they would come an go as they pleased.
The Safe house was there, as a way for Krazy Kat and Ignatz to changed there looks and personalty, so they could enter the cartoons made by Charles Mintz.
or go back to there comics world made by George Herriman.
It came to point that both Toons Krazy Kat and Ignatz had both developed a second personalty or Identity Disorder with Multiple personalty. You see the comics and cartoons for Krazy Kat and Ignatz where both so different. That literally there souls didn't want to accept the change! Ignatz a long time ago was gotten rid of in the cartoons and replaced with a sweet girlfriend for Krazy. Ignatz did not want a new Toon to be made for Krazy so when the new Toon rejected Krazy Kats life style. Ignatz and Officer Bull Pup took action. They found a way to make a Robot suit that could be controlled from the inside or outside. While Ignatz wasn't in the cartoons with Krazy Kat. Ignatz was in robot there in the cartoons pretending to be Krazy Kats lover. Ignatz would argue he didn't feel any kisses Krazy gave the robot suit, while Ignatz was inside the girl suit. So yes Ignatz was crossdressing in the robot suit. Only later in 50s would Ignatz really do crossdress in those comics by wearing a dress.
But back to Oswald, remember Oswalds contract made by Koko? Turns out there's a reason Oswald name is almost faded away from the contract.
For while Oswald stayed at Krazy Kats Safe house. Oswald had formed a friendship with these two Kat and Mouse. Like singing songs together or play card games.
And Krazy Kat worked hard for Oswalds magic to not be fully connected to the contract. With the help of the magic of the Stork Bird (The Stork bird carries Babies to Parents in Toon Worlds)
All the while Krazy and Ignatz started to like the Rabbit around.
But Tragedy would struck them, leavin Oswald unable to stay at the safe house any longer!
Only before that happened we need to look at something that happened during Oswalds stay at Krazy Kats house.
After months at the safe house. Oswald begged to go to ToonTown to look himself!
Oswald wanted to finally visit Toon Town once again! Maybe he would had luck finding Sadie, Pete, and even maybe Felix… Oswald had to try! only this time Oswald would come prepared.
Oswald put on trench coat with a hat to hide his ears, sunglasses to hide his eyes, and brown gloves. Oswald figured out a long time ago it was bad that he could be mistaken for his half younger brother Mouse! Many times even outside of ToonTown he was mistaken for the mouse!
It had been a long time since Oswald had been in ToonTown and things looked different?
It looked like it was getting bigger?
Oswald had no idea where Ignatz's was leading him but Oswald didn't want to get lost.
Instead of ToonTown being daylight it was nighttime.
Oswald learned later he was in to nighttime part of ToonTown.
You see ToonTown didn't have a night and day. One side of ToonTown was painted night the other was painted day.
Ignatz said as long as there would stay at ToonTown might as well pick out a Motel before all them get sold out at the end of the night.
So Right now Oswald was hiding in the motel of Krazy and Ignatz's room.
Oswald was looking out of window outside it was chaos of nighttime fun.
But Oswald only felt separated from the party and fun.
There was one big problem how long was this going to last?
It had been a few days and Oswald hadn't left the motel since Ignatz's hid him here.
Oswald considered visiting Felix or someone for advice on what he should do?
Laying low and hiding was almost as worse as living in that dusty closet! And Oswald knew going back to safe house was no option!
Going outside was a problem to since Oswald kept on being mistaken for ether that Mouse or Felix! But Oswald had to find Sadie!
Oswald knew he should talk to Felix even if he didn't want to.
Oswald was still mad at Felix! But where was Felix or anyone?
But now that Oswald thought about it, he would only talk to Felix, if Felix never drinks alcohol around him again!
Did Felix even remember Oswald?
They only met a few times?
Where they even friends?
Would that dumb cat even help Oswald?!
Ignatz's told Oswald that Krazy told him Oswald should lay low and hide out till Woody calmed down.
Krazy Kat still had to throw Woody Woodpecker off there track!
Oswald asked Ignatz if Krazy knew where Sadie was?
Ignatz said he would ask around if someone knew how to find Sadie.
Oswald then later told Ignatz about his famous half brother Mickey the person he hatted!
At first Ignatz didn't believe Oswald was Mickeys older brother?!
But now that Ignatz really looked at Oswald he could see the family resemblance.
Both of them looked like Krazy Kat for some reason!?
And it was not secret to Krazy Kat that Walt Disney was a fan of the Krazy Kat comics!
Ignatz knew he should be happy a mouse was being so famous.
But Mickey Mouse was not a small mouse!
And Mickey's face looked to much like Krazy Kat and that unsettled Ignatz!
It was almost like someone wanted Krazy and him (Ignatz) to have a love child!
That horrified Ignatz he didn't like to look at that face!
Ignatz would come and go from Oswalds Hotel room.
But Ignatz wouldn't talk to Oswald.
Oswald would sometime leave his Hotel but only if he was in disguise.
Oswald didn't find Sadie..
Only Oswald learned where Felix was staying in ToonTown.
Oswald had walk right up to Felix's house only to chicken from pressing the doorbell.
Then Oswald would walk back to his Hotel room head hung low and sad.
Oswald was to afraid to get help from Felix or anyone.
Oswald still didn't know where Sadie was!
And even though Oswald knew where Pete was. Oswald could NOT enter the Disney part of ToonTown!
But it was soon to get worse for Oswald, Ignatz, and Krazy Kat!
It was year 1944 and the cartoonist George Herriman died!
As soon as he died it felt like a part of Ignatz and Krazy died inside.
Oswald didn't know it then but soon he was to be alone again!
And alone for a very long time!
In the last comic of Krazy Kat, Ignatz, and Officer Bull Pup. Krazy Kat drowned in a lake only to be pulled out of the water dead. So in truth Ignatz was dying on the inside from sorrow and Ignatz wouldn't leave that lake sad that his only real friend had died.
One day Oswald realized Ignatz the mouse hardly even talked to him anymore. Oswald didn't know what happened only that Ignatz was gone and Oswald was alone again.
Oswald tried asking around what happened to Krazy and Ignatz but Toons only thought Oswald was a crazy poor bagger?
Oswald would sometimes leave the motel till he got kicked out of the hotel for not paying.
Wandering ToonTown for days still hiding in trash cans.
Oswald soon realized nobody was looking for him.
Oswald couldn't remember those days so well since his memory's faded from that point because Oswald was so sick.
But Peg Leg Pete remember's.
Or the Duplicate Peg Leg Pete remember's.
Since it was Pete who found Oswald in the trash and forcefully grabbed Oswald out of the trash and took Oswald to his place. Oswald didn't want to go he felt like failure.
Oswald was a very sick rabbit.
But Oswald wasn't just sick he was losing his heart! He was a dying Toon!
And Pete was worried he was going to lose another friend.
So Pete went looking for Sadie.
Pete found Sadie living safely all this time with her father in ToonTown.
Pete had to plead for Sadie to come vist Oswald.
Only Sadie's Father would not let Sadie visit Oswald!
Pete didn't know what to do but he remembered Sadie's Father liked Felix the cat!
So Pete had called in a favor from the cat. At first Felix wanted to slam the door in Petes face at what he wanted him do! Pete wanted Felix to distract Sadie's Father so Sadie could jump out the window into Petes car. Felix at first didn't want to help. But then Pete put his foot in the door and then pleaded to Felix.
" Please Felix! do it for Oswald! He's real Sick! And maybe if the Rabbit sees Sadie he might get better! "
Then it came Felix he had almost forgotten Oswald. Felix could almost kick himself! Felix for once could tell Pete was not lying! Felix wanted to see the Rabbit himself! But Felix knew Oswald would not get better if the rabbit saw him! Felix knew Oswald would not want to show a sign of weakness around, The Cat who betrayed him! But maybe if the Rabbit sees his long lost love, The poor little Rabbit might get well again?
Felix said he would do it for Oswald!
Felix ordered Pete not to tell Oswald he did this for him!
Pete nodded with his fingers crossed behind his back. Pete wasn't going to give up on the story of a life time!
It didn't take long Felix had soothed talked Sadie's Father.
At first Sadie wouldn't listen to Pete! Oswald had replaced her in the cartoons with other girls! Sadie thought Oswald didn't like her anymore! And That had made Sadie mad at Oswald! Pete told her " it wasn't Oswalds fault! It was the studios! Oswald never wanted to get rid of her! Now Oswald might be dying and all she can care about is that there not dating anymore! "
Sadie's softened her face Pete was right, Sadie let go of her pride and came to see Oswald.
Only for her heart to break at what she saw!
Oswald was only a broken Rabbit lying in Bed he was in shock!
Seeing Sadie again was was helped Oswalds road to recovery.
While Sadie nursed Oswald back to health.
But there was no cure for a broken heart! And Oswalds toon heart hurt almost beyond Repair!
Pete knew he had to find a way for lost Toons like them to go a place, or they to would be lost forever.
Then Pete remembered Felix again! Pete knew that Cat knew a lot about the magic of Toons!
So Pete went to Felix for help!
By this Time Pete knew if he told the Cat it was for Oswald the Cat Felix might do it!
And like last time, At first Felix didn't want to listen to Pete again, but learning it was for Oswald, Felix agreed to help again.
Felix told Pete what to do.
but to keep what they about to do a secret from Oswald.
First they would have to use the reflection mirror of the corner stone of the Heart of ToonTown. ToonTown Heart already had a reflection world but it was just never used before.
Oswalds Heart would be gone from his chest but his real heart would become part of the mirror world of ToonTown's Heart!
Pete was in shock " Felix this wouldn't work Oswald would never agree to it! "
Felix smirked at Pete " Not If I or we where the one's to tell Oswald! but if we found a wise old Wizard who would tell Oswald he needed to protect all the lost Toons! That it his destiny to be the ruler of Lost and forgotten Toons! It would give Oswald a reason to keep on Living! "
" But where are we going to find a wise old Wizard? "
" Fine I will teach you what to do and how to use the Magic the right way to find the right Wizard! And I'll show you how the mirror world works! When this is over Im done teaching you but you! You are never to Tell anyone what I told you! And you will leave me alone! You must forever take care of that Rabbit from harm or else! Do you expect my Deal Pete to be my student of ink Darkness? "
Felix held out his hand.
" Yes Mr. Felix! "
Pete snaked Felix's hand and much like the Deal Felix made with the Professor in future. Ink clawed up Pete's hands! Pete was scared of his new teacher!
" Then it's deal! "
Felix wiped his hands with a cloth. "We have a lot of work to do Pete! Here's the map that will act as a portal to reflect world of Toon Town now go! And report back to me, If you find anything! "
" Yes Felix! "
" Oh and Pete take care of that Rabbit! If Oswald dies, I will Find a way to end you myself! "
Pete stopped short and glared down at Felix at his threat.
" Oswald is like family to me Felix! I will aways take care of my family! Whether Oswald likes it or not we are both Disney Toons that makes us blood ink family! Oswald is part of my real Family he's like a little brother to me! But you didn't hear me say that Felix! "
Felix was in shock Felix didn't know, the giant Bear or Cat had feeling's! Felix smirked. Suddenly Pete made a lot more sense!
" I wont tell a soul Pete! As long as you stay Loyal to me and don't betray me! "
" …Im Doing this for Oswald! Mr. Felix! Your my only hope in saving him! "
Peg Leg Pete would never admit it but that small Cat Felix, scared Pete a lot more then Julius did! In the past Pete felt safe if Julius talked to Felix and not him. Pete then realised he joined Forces with Felix the cat, that Julius was Rivals with!
Peg Leg Pete knew Felix would go threw what his threat to kill him!
Failure was not a option!
And so Pete walked out the door with only map at hand, Pete was on a mission!
And that was the last of Peg Leg Pete making a deal with Felix. All you need to know is Felix did Teach Pete some magic but not everything Felix knew!
It took a long time but years later Pete found Wizard Yen Sid.
Pete never gave away this idea to make a Toon for lost Toons was Felix's idea. Felix and his secret. Pete acted a Double Agent. Becoming Wizard Yen Sid Pupil, yet Pete was also Felix's Pupil. With Felix's help Pete was able to make much mischief for Wizard Yen Sid. Wizard Yen Sid wanted to be called a Wizard, yet Felix knew more about magic then Wizard Yen Sid did. Yet Felix wouldn't call himself a Wizard. Felix told Pete to not call him a Wizard even if his magic was better then all of them. No in Petes eyes he could tell Felix was more like Warlock or a Sorcerer. And that made Felix dangerous!
Wizard Yen Sid was able to make World that would later be named Wasteland. Due to a Parchment and magic Brush Wizard Yen Sid found. Only Wizard Yen Sid didn't know Felix had made it so Wizard Yen Sid would find these magic tools. There would be Instructions on the back of the Parchment with the story of a Lost Wizard who wanted to make a world for lost Toons. Of the destiny of the King of Lost Toons! How the King of Lost Toons would help the forgotten Toons not erase forever! (honestly that part was true many lost Toons would soon disappear forever) Felix and Pete hopped that the story and magic would hopefully inspire Wizard Yen Sid to take up the bush and Stroke the ink paint. Pete thought it was a dumb idea. But to his shocked it worked. Only Yen Sid didn't know who the king of the Forgotten was? Pete gave some hints of Documents of Oswalds Existence! Yen Sid found the Documents had know idea Walt Disney had another star Toon! Yen Sid then had a dream of this kingdom with Oswald as king! (a dream Felix and Pete made) Clearly this Oswald must be the King of Forgotten Toons!
Yen Sid sent Pete to look for Oswald! Pete knew where Oswald was but he waited a little bit to make it seem like he didn't know! Pete brought Oswald to Yen Sid and the rest is history!
Oswald made King of the Forgotten or Oswald Town or soon to be Called WasteLand!
In WasteLand, Oswald wasted no time and asked Sadie to Marry him! Sadie said yes! Soon they where Married even Pete caught the flower's! Sadie changed her name to Ortensia to match her new Husband. Name's are powerful things and Sadie's name didn't help her! She wanted to make her life new and to not look back. At first Oswald was confused Sadie wanted a name change? But his new wife could have what ever she wanted!
Sadly Ortensia (Sadie's) father did not expect the Marriage Union and he didn't even walk his own daughter (Sadie) Ortensia down the Aisle! So who did walk Ortensia down the Aisle? Well Peg Leg Pete did! It was Peg Leg Pete's way of telling Oswald he was giving Sadie to Oswald to take care of!
That was another reason Ortensia wanted to change her name she was mad at her father not excepting Oswald has her new Husband!
Oswald even found his lost Bunny kids and his ex-wife there in Wasteland! Did that make Ortensia want to leave her new husband? No! Ortensia only loved Oswald even more! Ortensia even made friends with Fanny Cottontail much to Oswalds dismay…
And Oswald had no idea that Wasteland was his own broken heart and that's why he was the king because his heart was connected to that very world that was mirrored to ToonTown. and thats why Oswald could never leave Wasteland because his heart was anchoring him to Wasteland.
Oswald soon released he must make empty house's for any new Toon who would end up in Wasteland. Oswald even made a house for Felix and Mickey. Oswald might not like though's Toons be Oswald promised to care about lost Toons! That means even the ones Oswald didn't like! Oswalds still mad that Felix didn't eve visit him in ToonTown!
The Wizard Yen Sid never met Felix or learned he was being played by Felix and Petes schemes to save Oswalds life. Yen Sid Wizard, only knew that Pete was his a Pupil that went rogue.
Yen Sid Wizard had no idea Pete's past, that Pete knew Felix.
the Wizard Yen Sid was made in year 1970s. so you can see that took a long time to make everything just right.
and Oswald meeting everyone in "Oswald Town or OsTown" Later the disaster called it Wasteland.
Oswald couldn't remember how he ended up in Wasteland and thats what sacred him for many years.
Oswald remembers making a promise to Wizard Yen Sid to take care of Lost Toon's.
But Oswald couldn't remember how he got there?
The worst part is Oswald felt Felix had something to to about it?
How did Felix had something to do about it?
Oswald hadn't met Felix in year's!
Yet? Well Oswald didn't know but maybe Felix took his memory's?
If Felix and a bunch of Toons could make a world like ToonTown?
Ostown and Wasteland felt like the exact magic used to make ToonTown?
Oswald thought this long and hard what if Wasteland was reflection of ToonTown?
What if Wasteland had already existed form the very beginning?
But soon as Oswald thought the idea he was right he gave up and forgot that idea.
And yet Wizard Yen Sid was still just taking the credit for making something he didn't make?
And what about Mickey? What if Mickey knew he wasn't the only Toon in history to come and go from Wasteland?
Truth was Felix visited Wasteland back when it was OsTown!
Why would Felix visit Wasteland if he knew Oswalds heart was apart of Wasteland? Well honestly Felix never played it safe and he wanted to see how Oswald was doing before he went onto the next world.
So Yes Felix visited OsTown before Mickey did.
Before Mickey made it a Wasteland.
Oswald would try to use Felix's heart to get out of Wasteland
Only to learn Felix's heart was Broken Disease that no Toon would want to touch!
That Felix because was not normal even the worlds didn't want him!
So the chapter is how Oswald Banished Felix from Wasteland!
epilogue to the chapter:
But What had Happened to Ignatz?
Ignatz stopped talking to all his friend's even stopped talking to Oswald after Krazy Kat disappeared and presumed dead. There was funeral and everything! But the mouse still refused to believe Krazy was dead!
Ignatz would argue that Krazy was immortal, that the Kat could never die not even form a Brick to the head! That Krazy was not dead and that they should be looking for Krazy! Oswald told Ignatz that everyone had looked and Krazy was nowhere to found. Soon everyone wanted Ignatz to move on form, Ignatz loss. Oswald told Ignatz, it was ok to grieve but he had to move on. Only for Ignatz to yelled with tears in Ignatz eyes at Oswald "Just wait till you lose someone close to you! Then you'll know how it feel's!"
But Ignatz couldn't move on! Ignatz was drawn on the same paper as Krazy Kat! They where literally both born together on the same paper! To Ignatz to lose Krazy meant, there was nobody for Ignatz to throw bricks at, there was nobody to listen to Ignatz Theories, that there was nobody to impress with Ignatz smarts (Ignatz wasn't really smart but Krazy still thought Ignatz was smart), Also there was any chasing the stork bird, or adventures to the moon, Or anytime Ignatz crossdressed to pretend to be in love with that Kat, did I mention there was nobody to play there game to throw bricks! Ignatz needed to throw bricks it was drawn with ink into him! So now Ignatz had nobody to
throws bricks at!
So Ignatz would make a letter tie the letter to brick and every other month, throw the brick letter into the same lake Krazy Kat disappeared. Ignatz made sure nobody would see him throw the brick or hear himself talk to himself as he cried to sky for the Kat to come back! That the was coward not to face him!
Or someone to save Ignatz when he was in pinch or in danger. Also Ignatz had to finally admit to himself how he always knew Krazy was his best Friend but never wanted to admit to himself, Krazy was almost like family to him! Ignatz might not Love Krazy like Krazy loved Ignatz but Ignatz still considered the Kat like a sibling to him. It felt wired to Ignatz to call Krazy a lover when Ignatz only saw Krazy as like sibling. To Ignatz, Krazy was dumb as a brick. But Ignatz knew Ignatz was mad for days, then Ignatz cried for days.
Only for the small Mouse Ignatz to disappear forever?

And if your wondering why I made Felix and Oswald a long distance Relationship. Well it because it would of been in real life.
Walt Disney knew Otto Messmer they were long distance friends. Otto Messmer was the man who made Felix the cat. Otto Messmer lived in New York, Walt Disney lived in California. Walt hadn't seen Otto in years. Yet Walt wrote a letter to Otto wishing to see him again when Walt Disney went to New York. We never know if Walt Disney did or not. Walt letter was short but you could tell he missed Otto Messmer
