Al and Sam end one journey and begin another. - I originally wrote and posted this 14 years ago, but never reposted it when I discontinued my old account. Today seemed like a good say to repost. This is dedicated to the memory of Dean Stockwell. Without him, there never would have been an Al Calavicci. He breathed life into him and made into a beloved character.

Sam leaps into a mechanci who will be a victim of a fatal stabbing. But avoiding fate has its own complications...

We all took it hard, finding out Sam never returned home. This is my version of setting right what once went wrong. This is my attempt to bring Dr. Beckett home.

I've always heard it said that "The Leap Back" should have been two parts, because it was too rushed. Pure heartbreak, now filled in with details at the project before, during, and after. Concurrent with the Quantum Leap episode "The Leap Back."

In the absolute worst situation Sam has ever found himself, it isn't just assistance he needs from PQL. This time, they have to take control. Concurrent with the Quantum Leap episode "Shock Theater."

There was only ever one line, in one episode, where we were led to believe Sam randomly started to remember his wife. We know now why Al changed the subject. How was that brought up? Concurrent with the Quantum Leap episode "Black on White on Fire"
