Phineas and Ferb: Disneyland Vacation
Chapter 3: Adventureland
Meanwhile, The Flynn-Fletchers and the Fireside Girls has arrived at Adventureland where they are standing line at The Enchanted Tiki Room. The kids are eager to see the show, but Candace however started to get bored.
"I don't get it. Why are we in line instead of going on any rides?" asked Candace.
"The Enchanted Tiki Room was Walt's original attraction that just open in 1963. It talks about the birds singing in the Tiki Room." Isabella explained.
"Good thinking, chief." said Gretchen.
"I've always wanted to see where the birds are singing." Katie added.
"You know, I think they look kinda cute." said Holly.
"Whatever. Why can't we just skip the line already?" Candace complaining.
"Well, according to the guideline of "Wild About Safety Smart," said Isabella showing her book of "Wild About Safety with Timon and Pumbaa" to Candace. "It says 'Don't go astray, use designated walkway'."
"It's true. You don't want to break the rules when were on vacation." said Phineas as he agrees.
"Ugh, fine. I hope this doesn't take too long." groaned Candace.
Later on, they're all inside the Tiki Room sitting on the bench when watching the animatronic birds known as Jose and Michael as they started to sing. Candace is still not amused at first.

Jose: (spoken) "Olé! Olé! It's showtime!"

"This song is gonna get stuck in my head." Candace commented.
Few minutes later, they all got out from the Tiki Room and they are enjoying the show. Candace is smiling when she started to humming since the music is stuck inside of her head.
"Well, that was fun." said Milly.
"Yeah, it sure is." said Adyson.
"So, Candace, what do you think?" Phineas asked.
"You know, I hate to admit, but you're right. That was actually pretty good." Candace finally admits that she enjoys the show.
"I'm glad that you liked it, dear." said Linda then looked at her husband. "So, what's next?"
"How about the 'Jungle Cruise'? That sure looks lovely." Lawrence suggested.
"I think that's a great idea. What do you say kids? Should we go in?" Linda asked.
"Yeah!" "Absolutely!"
"Well, Jungle Cruise it is." said Lawrence.
They all entered the Jungle Cruise to get in line. It won't be long until they finally arrived at the docking since the wait time runs in 5 minutes. Then the boat just arrived with a skipper who's piloting a boat.
"Hello folks, how many passengers?" asked The skipper.
"Thirteen." replied Lawrence.
"Wow, lucky you. You folks must be really busy. Anyway, I have to be on my break right now because I haven't eaten anything for breakfast." said The skipper
"It's alright lad, take your time." said Lawrence.
Awesome! I'll put those in two in charge while I'm at it. Enjoy the ride." said The skipper as he left along with his co-skipper. The Flynn-Fletchers and the Fireside Girls entered the boat and took their seats while other guests followed by.
"Well, that could've been better." Candace commented.
"Who's goin to be our skipper?" asked Phineas. Suddenly, they heard a voice.
"Uh, is this thing on? Okay."
They looked at the front and spotted a meerkat wearing his jungle outfit and a warthog standing by the boat wheel. The kids were surprised that these two are taking over the boat. The meerkat looked at the passengers and smiled.
"Hello and welcome aboard to the Jungle Cruise! My name is Timon, and I'll be your skipper today." Timon announced
"And I'm Pumbaa, your co-skipper!" Pumbaa added.
"Say, aren't you a little bit small to be a skipper?" Phineas asks curious.
"Why yes, yes I am." replied Timon as he started the boat and float away from the docking bay.
"Wave goodbye to your family, folks and never to be seen again. Just kidding." Timon joked. "Anyway, for your safety, please keep your hands, arms, feets, and legs inside the boat at all times and please watch your kids. Thank you."
"Get your cameras ready, because we are about to enter in the heart of the jungle." Pumbaa added.
They looked awe as they entered the jungle as the boats sail through a dense rainforest, and ancient Irrawaddy temple ruins where passengers see a Bengal Tiger, giant spiders, king cobras, and crocodiles.
"On your left, where we see a Bengal Tiger defending his territory against some cobras and crocodiles." Pumbaa announced "Oh, and watch out for giant spiders."
"Spiders?! Where?!" Candace went frantic since her fears of giant spiders.
"Candace, relax. They're just animatronics." said Phineas calming his sister down.
"Just relax and breathe in." Isabella added.
"Oh, right. Sorry about that. Force of habit." Candace apologizes.
"You folks wanna hear a joke?" Timon asked.
"NO!" Canadce snapped.
"Sure." Phineas agreed.
"Okay, why is six are afraid of seven?"
"Why?" Phineas asked.
"Because seven 'ate' nine!" Timon laughed "Get it?! Seven ate nine."
The passengers laugh except Candace when she felt embarrassed. While they're passing a shrines of the historic King Jayavarman VII, a bowing elephant and a metal cobra, and then the boat enter the Sacred Indian Elephant Bathing Pool where dozens of Indian elephant's prances in the water and squirt water at the passing vessels.
"And on your right where we see Indian elephants taking their baths at the bathing pool. These elephants sure love taking their baths." said Pumbaa.
Candace, Isabella, and the Fireside Girls went awe with their eyes sparkles when one of the baby elephants is taking a bath.
"Aw!" "It's so cute." "I love elephants."
"Well, me too. Did you know that most elephants usually take baths whenever they like to have their own pool party? Get it?" Timon joked. "And speaking of the party.
Then they went to the rivers of Africa, and they see a family of baboons, and a safari camp that has been overrun by gorillas.
"On your right, where we see baboons and gorillas having their own camp party. Keep em' going folks!"
"Don't be a stranger!" Pumbaa added. "Oh, and there are african elephants waving their trunks at us.
The boats careen past the dramatic waterfall between two African Elephants, and large termite mounds. Ferb is writing down on his notes as he fascinated the waterfall.
A tableau of the African Veldt follows, showing zebras, wildebeest, and giraffes watching a pride of lions feasting on a zebra beneath a rocky outcropping.
"And on your right where see giraffes, zebras, and wildebeests watching the pride of lions having their breakfast." Pumbaa announced.
"Don't you worry folks, that zebra was taking a little nap." Timon joked.
"You know that zebra is already dead." Candace commented.
"Ah, ah, ah, ah! Not in front of the audience." Timon warned her. "Oh look, we got some antelopes and hyenas watching an angry rhino pointing his horn at these travelers!"
Beyond the lion's den, an angry rhinoceros has chased the marooned crew of the Kwango Kate up a tree. Antelope and hyenas watch from nearby while hyenas wait at the bottom of the tree for their coming meal.
"Uh, maybe we should not get involved for this." Pumbaa suggested when he felt unease around hyenas.
"Pumbaa, those hyenas are animatronics. Big deal." said Timon.
"Oh, and what about those three?"
They looked out and see the three hyenas known as Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed, but both Banzai and Ed are getting bored annoyed while Shenzi was laughing hysterically. Ed pulls out a sign says "Don't ask".
"Oh, it's just those three. Moving on!" said Timo as he pilots the boat as they entered the big river, but they disturb a pod of hippos that signal their intent to attack the boat.
"And here we folks where we have entered a big pool of hippos, one of the biggest herbivores that you'll ever had a big mouth. Get it?" Timon joked.
"Uh, Timon?"
"Yeah?"
Pumbaa pointed his hooves when hippos are about to attack the boat. Candace started to get nervous, but didn't noticed that Timon and Pumbaa are just acting instead of panicking.
"Uh oh. Uh, just one second." He pulled out a pistol from the hoister that hangs by the wheel. "Hey! Get back! I'm not afraid to use this!
Timon fires into the air to frighten the hippos away as they dived back into the water. Timon put the pistol back into the hoister.
"There, that oughta take care of them." said Timon. "Now, where were we? Oh yes, you can all look to the right where we enter the Backside of Water!"
The passengers were awed as they passed behind Schweitzer Falls to enter the Amazon River. Phineas was fascinated at the Backside of Water.
"Cool!" said Phineas.
"Jolly good show, mate." said Lawrence.
"So what happens next?" Linda asked.
"Glad you asked, ma'am. Right now we have entered the piranha's territory." Timon replied.
"PIRANHAS?!" exclaimed Candace.
"That's right, piranhas are the deadliest fish predator of all the history." Pumbaa explained.
"But, what if they're gonna eat us?!" Candace asked in frantic.
"Candace, they're animatronics. There's no need to be afraid." Linda comforts her daughter.
"She's right, honey. We're perfectly safe." said Lawrence.
Then they passed skeletal animal remains and warning signs featuring pictures of dagger-toothed fish forewarn the next show scene, where the boats encounter a swarm of leaping piranha.
"Watch out folks! These piranhas are sure hungry looking fish!" joked Timon.
Candace looked and realize that there are piranhas on a stick that comes out from the water. She sighed in relief. A dragonfly flew all over Pumbaa, but he moved his head around and quickly ate the dragonfly. Then they pass a pool of water buffalo nearby a large python on a tree.
"On your right, there are water buffalos drinking their water and we see a python that's been hanging on the tree." Pumbaa announced.
"And on our way, we're passing through the village where most people are singing and dancing." Timon added.
They passed through the river where all animatronics natives are chanting in the village.
"You know what I think?" Timon asked
"What?" Pumbaa asked.
"If they're chanting around, I think it's time that we should do a sing along song."

The Flynn-Fletchers and the Fireside Girls are clapping their hands along with some passengers and they enjoyed their performance except for Candace sitting there confused.

"Harpoon a tomato?" confused Candace.
"Hakuna Matata, it means no worries." Pumbaa corrected her.
"Oh look! I can see Trader Sam waving at us." said Timon.
They look on their left where they see an animatronic Trader Sam standing at his hut along with a baby elephant that spray water from its trunk. And finally, they made it back to the docking bay where most people got off the boat.
"Well, that's it folks. We made it back to the docking bay and we hope you enjoy cruising with us in the jungle." said Timon.
"And please watch your step as you exit on your right and we'll be seeing you real soon." Pumbaa added.
The passengers got out from the boat followed by the Flynn-Fletchers and the Fireside Girls while Timon and Pumbaa waved their hands at their passengers. Isabella decided that she could talk to them about her experience since the last the time she went to Africa with her friends.
"Excuse me?"
They both looked at Isabella smiling."
"Hi, Isabella Garcia-Shapiro, leader of the Fireside Girl from Tri-State Area. My friends and I been to Africa along with their parents on our vacation and I just wanted to let you know that I read your safety tip book. Also, I might have earned a 'Grub Eating Patch'." said Isabella.
"Well, lucky for you, kid. Never thought that you eat bugs for a patch" Timon impressed.
"Do you stop by at the Pride Lands by any chances?" Pumbaa asked.
"No, not really." replied Isabella.
"Oh, sorry." Pumbaa apologized.
"I'll tell you what kid, I'll give you and your friends that you've earned your 'Hakuna Matata Patch'." said Timon as he pulled out some patches.
"And your 'Safety Smart Patch'." Pumbaa added has he pulled out more patches.
"Here you go, girls." said Timon as they hand over some extra patches to the girls.
"Thank you." Isabella thanked them.
"Wow! Two patches in one day!" said Adyson.
"Cool!" exclaimed Katie.
"So, what else are we going?" Holly asked.
"Well, there's "Indiana Jones Adventures" right between the Jungle Cruise and Tarzan's Treehouse." said Phineas.
"Wait, since when did Indiana Jones was part of Disney?" Candace asked.
"Well, this attraction just first opened in 1995." Phineas answered.
"Oh, gotcha."
"Well, shall we?" Lawrence asked.
"You know, that's sounds like fun." Linda agreed. "Let's get going."
"So along folks! Thanks for stopping by at the Jungle Cruise!" Timon waved his hand at them.
"Come back soon!" Pumbaa added.
"We will!" Phineas hollered back.
Once they left, they stop waving and looked at each other.
"You know, these kids looked familiar." said Pumbaa.
"Yeah, sure looks like they're from the 'Flop Starz'." said Timon thinking. Suddenly, Heinz and Vanessa approached them.
"Excuse me? Could you direct us to the Jungle Cruise?" asked Doofesnhmirtz kindly.
"Why yes, it's right by the entrance. You can't miss it." Timon.
"Why thank you."
"You're welcome." Then he looked at Pumbaa. "C'mon Pumbaa, let's go get something to eat."
"You got it!" said Pumbaa as he and his best friend walk away from the Doofenshmirtzs standing there confused about these two.
"Did they just talk?" Vanessa asked with awestruck.
"Well, they're cartoon characters. You know how it is." Heinz replied.
They're headed to the Jungle Cruise where they enter. Suddenly, Perry comes out from the bush as he already sneaking around from Main Street to Adventureland and spotted Doofenshmirtzs enters the Jungle Cruise. Perry walked over to the door says "Cast Members Only" and quietly opens the door, but he didn't notice when there's a parrot, Iago taking his bird bath whistling until he stop and looked at Perry.
"Hey! Can't you give a bird some privacy?!" snapped Iago.
Perry quickly closed the door embarrassing. Then he walked over the bird house and knocked the door gently. The door was opened where it reveals a hornbill, Zazu who's the king's majordomo.
"Can I help you?" Zazu asked.
Perry points his finger to the Doofenshmirtzs where they got on the boat curiously where are they going next. Zazu looked at the boat then looked back at Perry.
"Ah, yes. They have entered the boat where they are cruising through the river. You can't miss it." Zazu explained.
Perry gives him a thumb up and left Zazu confusing at him.
"What a strange looking beaver duck." Zazu commented.
Perry quietly got on top of the boat without getting caught by some passengers when he looked at the Doofenshmirtzs sitting with some passangers while the Skipper is announcing.
"On your left where we see a Bengal tiger defending its territory against some cobras and crocodiles. Oh, and watch for snakes because they look very hypnotize." The skipper announced.
Perry was confused at first, but suddenly he felt something's slippery when he was dragged off from the boat which it turns out to be a huge snake known as Kaa who caught Perry by wrapping him up.
"Sssay now. What have we here? Some sort of ssssnack." Kaa chuckled. "Are you lost? You must be ssstarving."
He started to hypnotize at Perry, but he punched his nose and jumped out from Kaa. Then he quickly slides off of his scale as he was about to land on the boat, but gets caught by a monkey that's been hanging on by more monkeys as they swing Perry to the temple from "Indiana Jones Adevntures" and landed in front of the orangutan, King Louie sitting on a throne.
"Ah, so you're a secret agent? Crazy." said King Loiue.
Perry was confused at his appearances. He never knew that this orangutan knows about his secret identity.
"Aw, cheer up cuz. My boys just swooped you out from Kaa cause he looks crazy to me. And speaking of which."

(The monkeys are dancing and swinging all over the jungle while Perry was standing there curious, but decided to shrugged off and dancing. Perry took no notice when Kaa just lurking from the tree when search for his meal until he spotted Perry.)
King Louie: (spoke) C'mon, cuz! Show em' what you got!
(Louie started to banging the drum. Perry joined in by banging the drum. The more they banging their drum, the more surprises they are expecting. When Kaa was about to open his mouth, but the door burst showing Baloo wearing his yellow orange hula skirts.)

Suddenly, they noticed that Perry left the party.
"Hey, where's that secret agent platypus?" King Louie asked.
Baloo shrugged. Kaa moved the door slowly, but his face was injured with a little bruise on his left eye.
"I low despised that dancing and sssinging." groan Kaa as he fainted.
Meanwhile inside the temple, the Flynn-Fletchers and the Fireside Girls are in line as they were about to enter the Forbidden Eye. Candace was nervous at first because she was afraid of so many snakes, spider webs, and some traps, but didn't notice that it was all part of the attraction. The kids however are fascinated when they are in line.
"This place gives me creeps." said Canadce.
"Well, according to the Temple of the Forbidden Eye, it says here that we cannot look into the eye as long as we have to follow the rules in order get something like full of treasures, fountain of youth, and the future." said Phineas when he's reading the map. "If we did look to the eye, we will be ending up in the Gates of Doom."
"You're saying that there's gonna be full of death traps?!" Candace asked nervously.
"Not at the moment, but remember, it's all part of the attraction." reminded Phineas.
"Yeah, right. No worries. Haramba Makuta."
"It's pronounced, 'Hakuna Matata'." Isabella corrected.
"Right, whatever. No big deal. How bad can it be?"
She spoke too soon when the kids and their parents were on the jeep. Candace screamed frightfully where they ended up on the Gates of Doom while the rest are cheering with shock and awe as they enjoyed the ride. There many skeletons that lies everywhere, bugs crawling all over the wall, crossing the bridge over lava, and approaching where giant cobra was lurking it's prey as it hissed and then roars. Candace screamed at the giant cobra.
Later on, the Flynn-Fletchers and the Fireside Girls exit the temple from the outside talking about their reaction while Candace was shivering due to her unexpected experience.
"Well, that was fun." said Phineas.
"It's pretty scary, but that was cool!" said Isabella.
"Yeah, let's do that again." Adyson commented.
"Why does it have to be snakes?" Candace muttered.
Once they left, Heinz and Vanessa entered the Temple of the Forbidden Eye. Vanessa was so eager to ride on this attraction while her dad was nervous at first.
"Now that's the best attraction I've always wanted to ride on." said Vanessa.
"Are you sure about this? I mean I do remember when I watch most movies where there so many traps, lots of snakes, and a giant boulder. Not to mention when there's the Ark that is full of curse." said Doofenshmirtz nervously.
"C'mon, dad. It only works in the movie. How bad can it be?"
She spoke too soon and this time, her dad is screaming while Vanessa is enjoying along with more passengers while on the jeep. They didn't notice when Perry hitch hiked on the jeep clinging on to his dear life. Suddenly, an arrow landed on the back of the jeep missing Perry shockingly react at the part. Hope he prays that it might be over soon.
There you have it! I thought I could use Timon and Pumbaa as their skippers on the Jungle Cruise that I based on "Virtual Safari" and I made newer version of my own for "I Wanna Be Like You". Please stay tune for the next chapter.
