NOW LET'S GET ON WITH THE STORY!
{Intro}
A green glowing steel pod was flying across the Milky Way Galaxy as it reached towards Earth, and crashes down as a huge green flash occurred. Once the flash dies down, we see the glowing symbols of the Biomnitrix as the camera zoom out, and we see Ben and Vanessa looking at their new devices in wonder as the kids then glanced at each other before smirking as they activated their gauntlets and two cores popped out as Ben and Vanessa raised their hands in the sky dramatically before slamming them down on their individual Biomnitrix's.
The area around them turned green as Ben slowly morphed into Four Arms and pumped his fists into the air in victory while Vanessa transformed into Coldphase as she opened up her wings and flew in the air as she generated an ice mace in her hand, and white number 1 appeared beside them.
Ben and Van 10!
Ben then quick-changed into Heatblast as he manifested a fiery cyclone around him, but lost control of it as the tornado began to grow. Vanessa reacted quickly and transformed into Blitz as she runs around the fire tornado and snuffs out the infernal hurricane, but accidentally cancel out Heatblast's fire in the process as well. The magma-being gave his friend a deadpanned look as Vanessa gave him a sheepish grin, and a white number 2 appeared beside them.
Ben and Van 10!
Huffing in annoyance, Heatblast glared at the Citrakayah until an idea popped into his head as Ben grins mischievously. Quick-changing into XLR8, the Kineceleran puts on his visor as he began running circles around Blitz. Vanessa yelped as the fast winds from XlR8 forced her to fall to the ground, and XLR8 stopped running as he laughed at her immaturely. Vanessa growls at him in anger as she quick-changed into Split and duplicated herself up to 30. XLR8 yelped in surprise as Split and her clones dogpiled on the surprised Kineceleran, and a white number of a 3 appeared beside them.
Ben and Van 10!
Split and her clones smirked at each other in victory until they felt something rumbling below them as a flash of green light appeared, and they were all thrown into the air by large crystal spikes. Diamondhead rose up from the ground as he raised his hands and encased each clone in small crystal cages as they struggled to free themselves. Diamondhead crossed his arms smugly before blinking in shock as all the Split's merged with each other and transformed into Vortex. The cloud-like alien turned herself into the air as she easily escaped from Diamondhead's crystal trap, and a white number 4 appeared beside them.
Ben and Van 10!
Not giving up the fight just yet, Ben quick-changed into Cannonbolt as he curled up into a ball and rolled over to Vortex, who stood perfectly still as she transformed into Fairytail and used her magic to conjure a slide in front of Cannonbolt. Ben's eyes widen from deep inside his shell as he went up the slide, and flew in the air as he crashed against the green background, and groans as a white number of a 5 appeared beside them.
Ben and Van 10!
Fairytail giggled under her breath as Cannonbolt glared at her and transformed into Upgrade as he turns into a puddle and slithered his way towards an unsuspecting Fairytail. Without giving her time to react, the Galvanic Mechamorph used his elasticity to wrap around her body as Fairytail struggled to escape from his grasp. Vanessa grunted before quick-changing into Tricetaurus as she bursts out of Upgrade's hold and roars as a white number of a 6 appeared beside them.
Ben and Van 10!
Upgrade rubs his head as a large shadow fell on top of him and gulps as he saw Tricetaurus glaring down at him as she raised her foot to smash him and dropped it down. Luckily, Ben transformed into Grey Matter just in time as he dodged her and jumped up to her leg as he begins crawling all across her body. Tricetaurus tried to smack him, but Ben easily avoided her attacks as he crawled to the top of her head and Vanessa glared at him as she tries to hit him, but he manages to jump out of the way in time as Vanessa accidentally smacked herself on the face, and fell down. Grey Matter laughed at her as Vanessa blushed embarrassedly and glared at him as she transformed into Snatcher and morphed into a more buffed version of Grey Matter. Before Ben could react, Snatcher leaps towards him as she tackles him to the floor, and a white number of a 7 appeared beside them.
Ben and Van 10!
Grey Matter struggled to escape from the chokehold Snatcher was giving him as he thought quickly and transformed into Overflow as Snatcher lost her grip on him and fell on the floor. Overflow smirked down at the terrified Snatcher as he raised his hand and washed her away with a burst of water as Snatcher's physical form dissolved into a puddle of goo. Snatcher glared at the smirking Cascan before transforming into White Fang as she hissed at him and jumps onto his head. Ben struggled to push her off as White Fang used her sharp claws to scratch him, but couldn't slice through his hard exoskeleton as a white number of an 8 appeared beside them.
Ben and Van 10!
Overflow grunted before transforming into Wildvine as he used his tendrils to grab Vanessa's waist and threw her off. White Fang landed in a low crouch as she growled at him and transforms into Kralastico as she extended her hands and fists blew up to ridiculous proportions. Wildvine and Kralastico glared daggers at each other as they took off into a sprint and raised their fists just as a white number of a 9 appeared above them.
Ben and Van 10!
Wildvine and Kralastico struggled to free themselves as they accidentally tied themselves up with their stretched-out limbs during the fight. Kralastico whimpers and Wildvine stared at her worriedly before grinning as an idea popped into his head. Whispering his plan into Vanessa's ear, Kralastico nodded with a smile as Ben transformed into Stinkfly, and Vanessa morphed into Freakazette as they escaped from their bonds. Stinkfly flew in the air happily as Freakazette pops up behind him and pulls out a sign with a white number 10 on it from her hammerspace.

Happy to not be fighting anymore, Stinkfly and Freakazette smiled at each other as the young cartoon alien reached out and literally flipped the scene around as we see Ben and Vanessa standing in a white room while back in their human forms as Max and Gwen stood beside them.
Ben shared a low five with his grandfather while Vanessa shared a hug with Gwen as the red-haired girl ran off with her grandfather off-screen. Leaving behind the kids as Ben and Vanessa stared at each other for a few seconds before blushing as they shyly held hands, and their Biomnitrix's glows brightly as their fusion aliens appeared beside them.
{Season 1, Episode 2: Waterfilter}
At nighttime, we see the gang driving across the road in the RV as Ben and Van were watching Zingo on Ben's tablet while Gwen was reading a book and Max was busy driving, but then he spotted something in the distance that made him smile as he turned to the kids excitedly.
"Here she is, kids. Niagara Falls!" Max exclaimed while pointing outside as the girls beamed and raced to the windows as they were in awe by the beauty of Niagra Falls.
"Whoa!/So beautiful!" The girls said in amazement as Ben rolled his eyes with a bored look on his face.
"Ugh, Niagra Falls? What's there to do here?" Ben asked as Van and Gwen turned to him in disbelief.
"Ben, are you serious? Niagra Falls is one of the greatest landmarks in all of America! How could you not be impressed by it?" Van asked while placing her hands on her hips as Ben shrugged with an indifferent look on his face.
"Will you be more impressed by it if you find out that it's the biggest waterfall in America?" Gwen asked with a sly grin as Ben gasped and gained stars in his eyes while Van's face paled.
"They have a waterfall?!" Ben asked excitedly as Gwen nodded with a confused look on her face as she wondered why her cousin got excited all of a sudden.
"Ben, no!" Van says firmly as Ben turned to her with a pout.
"But, Van-"
"No."
"But-"
"No."
"What if-"
"No."
"...Can I at least do one-"
"NO!" Van shouted sternly as Ben shrunk back from her yell and looked down as he grumbled angrily, and Gwen eyed the both of them curiously.
"So, you mind telling me what was that all about?" Gwen asked as Van sighed and turned to her friend as she crossed her arms.
"It's this thing that Ben has with water. Every time he gets near a pool, lake, beach, or whatever that has a large pool of water, Ben likes to embarrass himself and cause a huge scene." Van says as Ben scoffed.
"No, I don't," Ben says dismissively as Van slowly turned to him with a very deadpan look.
"Oh, really? Remember the time when my parents and I invited you and your family to a barbecue?" Van asked with a raised eyebrow as Ben winced.
[Flashback 1]
"Ben, no!" A five-year-old Vanessa shouted as she saw a five-year-old Ben, standing on top of her house as she and her family were having a small barbecue with the Tennysons. "Get down from there! You're going to get hurt!" Van shouted, worried about her best friend's safety as Ben grinned at her.
"Cannonball!" Ben shouted as he leaped out of the house and fell towards Vanessa's pool as he caused a big splash that soaked everyone, including the food as they went soggy. "Ha, ha, ha, that was awesome!" Ben cheered while popping out of the pool as he saw Van and the adults glaring at him as he raised an eyebrow. "What?"
[Flashback over]
"Or what about the time when we went to the beach?" Vanessa asked while crossing her arms as Ben looks away sheepishly.
[Flashback 2]
"Ben, no!" A 7-year-old Vanessa shouted while sitting on a large floaty at the beach as she was wearing a purple one-piece swimsuit. A 7-year-old Ben, who was standing on a boat with Vanessa's parents and was wearing green swim trunks, grinned at her mischievously as he took a couple of steps back before running through the deck at full force as he leaped out of the boat.
"Cannonball!" Ben shouted as he landed on the ocean and caused a big wave to appear as it pushes a screaming Vanessa away from the boat.
[Flashback over]
"And let's not forget the time that you ruined my ninth-birthday party," Vanessa says with a growl as Ben sweated nervously and looked away with a sweatdrop.
[Flashback 3]
"Ben, no!" A 9-year-old Vanessa shouted while standing behind a table with her presents and birthday cake as she, her friends, and her family were celebrating Vanessa's 9th birthday party at a local water park. Van and the others couldn't do anything but watch helplessly as Ben climbs the ladder near a large pool and begins bouncing up and down as he then leaped into the air, high enough to reach the clouds as he looks down with a large smirk on his face.
"CANNNNNOOOOOOONNNNNNNBBBBBBBAAAAAAAAALLLLLLL!" Ben shouted into the heavens as he begins falling through the air, and Van whimpered in misery as Ben crashes against a pool, and caused a huge splash to appear as the whole waterpark was soaked in water.
"Ha, ha, ha, that was fun!" Ben says while appearing out of the empty pool as he took a couple of steps before bumping against a silent Vanessa as he smiled at her. "Oh, hey, Van, what's up? Having an awesome birthday?" Ben asked innocently as shadows covered Van's eyes, and the young girl gritted her teeth as an aura of anger covered her body. "Uh, Van? Are you okay?" Ben asked as Van flinched and lifted her head to glare at him as she pounced on him and began beating him up.
"OW! OW! OW! NO! STOP! I'M SORRY! I'M SORRY FOR DOING A CANNONBALL! OW! PLEASE! OW! VAN, STOP! OW!"
[Flashback over]
"Okay, so I like making a splash? What else are you going to do with water?" Ben asked with a shrug as Van shook her head in exasperation and gave him a strict, serious look.
"Ben, if we're going to make this partnership work, you need to listen to me every once in a while and stop acting so reckless all the time," Van says as Ben scoffed and stood up as he made his way to the kitchen.
"Pssh! I'm not reckless, Van," Ben says as he pulled out a pickle jar from the cupboards and tried to open it, but failed as he growled in annoyance and pulled out a hammer from out of nowhere as he began hitting it repeatedly and the girls stared at him, deadpanned.
"Yeah, and the sky is green," Van says sarcastically as Gwen suddenly popped up in between them and gave Ben a stern look.
"Van is right, Ben. What you need is a filter." Gwen says as Ben raised an eyebrow at her.
"A filter?" Ben asked while using a giant screwdriver to try and pry open the lid, but lost his grip on the screwdriver as it was sent flying backwards and crashed against something as a cat's screech was heard.
"Yeah, someone to sit through all of your ideas and tell you when one of them is really terrible."
"Why would I need that?" Ben asked while activating his Biomnitrix as he was about to transform into Four Arms and smash open the jar of pickles, but was stopped by the girls.
"Trust me, you do, and don't worry, Gwen. I'm pretty good at keeping Ben in line." Van says proudly as Gwen gave her a doubtful look.
"Uh, are you sure you're the right person for the job, Van? I mean, don't get me wrong, you're way more responsible than Ben, but you do have the tendency of enabling Ben to do what he wants." Gwen says as Van stared at her in shock.
"What!? No, I don't!" Van shouted as Gwen crossed her arms and raised an eyebrow at her with an amused look on her face.
"Oh, really? Face it, Van, you enable Ben to do whatever he wants because you secretly like him." Gwen says with a sneaky grin as Van stumbles back in shock, and Ben blushed lightly.
"W-What!? I don't have a crush on Ben! What makes you think that?!" Van asked while crossing her arms with a huge blush on her face as Gwen rolled her eyes with a knowing smile.
"Oh, I have several reasons, but bottom line is, I'm going to be Ben's filter," Gwen says firmly, and before Van could object, Ben pops up.
"Girls, girls, it's nice that you're looking out for me, but who needs a filter when I got, 'Ben-tuition'! The tiny feeling in my gut that is never, ever wrong." Ben says with a smug look on his face as Gwen rolled her eyes.
"Look, your 'Ben-tuition' is awesome and all, but won't it be more awesome if I was there to give you guys advice so that you two won't accidentally destroy any national monuments?" Gwen asked as Van seems to be thinking about the idea while Ben seemed to be unconvinced.
"You know, kids, it might not be the worst idea. With Gwen's intellect and your powers, you three could be unstoppable!" Max says from the driver seat.
"Well, I got to admit I do agree with them on this, Ben. It wouldn't be so bad to get help every once in a while. Besides, Gwen could be our girl in a chair, you know? The person who helps out the heroes while on the sidelines. What do you say?" Van asked with her usual cheery smile as Ben blushed slightly and sighed as he nodded reluctantly.
"Well...I guess we can have a trial period." Ben says as Gwen beams.
"Great!" Gwen says while grabbing Ben's pickle jar as she opens it easily and handed the open jar back to a shocked Ben. "So, we agree, you run your ideas by me first," Gwen says cheerfully before walking away as Van turned back to Ben and giggled at his shocked look as he was surprised by how easy it was for her to open the pickle jar.
"Don't worry, Ben, I'm sure you would've opened the jar eventually," Van says reassuringly as Ben smiled at her gratefully.
"Thanks, Van," Ben says appreciatively as Van nodded, and they went back to watching their cartoons.
A few hours later, we see the Rust Bucket parked near Niagra Falls in a parking lot as Vanessa and the Tennyson family were sleeping soundly in their beds until Ben suddenly opens one of his eyes as he looks around cautiously and, once he knows the coast was clear, Ben quietly sneaked out of his bed and made his way out of the RV as a snoring Van mumbled and opens her eyes as she saw Ben sneaking out of the RV and she narrows her eyes at him suspiciously.
"Alright, time for some unfiltered fun," Ben says with a grin while stepping out of Rust Bucket in only his pajamas, which consisted of a baggy green T-shirt with baggy brown pants and no shoes. "Alright, let me see, who would I choose," Ben says while activating his Biomnitrix as he circled through his playlist and was about to select Cannonbolt, but then-
"Aha!" Van shouted while appearing out of the Rust Bucket in her pajamas as Ben jumped in shock. Van's pajamas consisted of a light purple T-shirt with dark purple baggy pants and pink bunny slippers.
"Aah!" Ben let out a high-pitched screamed before calming down as he glared at the smirking Van. "Why you scare me like that? You want to wake up Grandpa and Gwen?"
"And have them catch you trying to do a cannonball on one of America's greatest landmarks? Yep." Van says casually as Ben sweated nervously and looked away as he rubs his head.
"I-I have no idea what you're talking about, Van. I was just out for a measly stroll." Ben lied as Van gave him a blank look and grabbed his arm as she saw that not only was his Biomnitrix was active, but a silhouette of Cannonbolt could be seen on the dial.
"Hmm, sure," Van says sarcastically as Ben panicked and was about to make up more lies until he sighed as Ben turned off his Biomnitrix and gave his best friend a defeated look.
"Alright, fine, I was planning to do a cannonball, but can you blame me!? Just look at that! It's practically begging me to do a cannonball!" Ben says while pointing at Niagra Falls as Van shakes her head with a stern look on her face.
"No, Ben. I can't allow you to use your gauntlet to do a cannonball on Niagra Falls...besides, I think it's kind of illegal to swim in there, much less do a cannonball on it." Van says with a thoughtful look on her face as Ben pouted and suddenly dropped to his knees as he grabbed onto Van's waist, causing her to blush up a storm from the close contact as Ben gave her a pleading look.
"Please, Van! Let me do just one cannonball! It's all I'm asking, just one!" Ben begged as Van frowns and shakes her head.
"No means no, Ben. I can't allow you to do a cannonball on Niagra Falls...no matter how cool it will be to do." Van says to herself quietly, but Ben hears her as an idea popped into his head and he grinned mischievously as Ben stood up, and grabbed Van by her shoulders.
"Van, I just got an idea, what if we both did a cannonball?" Ben asked as Van's eyes widen in shock.
"What!?" Van asked in surprise as Ben nodded eagerly.
"Yeah, yeah, you can transform Tricetaurus, and I will transform into Cannonbolt, and together we will form the greatest cannonball in history! What do you think?"
"Well...that does sound cool," Van admitted with a small smile on her face before frowning as she shakes her head. "No, no, that idea sounds so irresponsible, I will not do it!" Van says firmly while turning around as she closed her eyes and crossed her arms.
"Aw, come on, Van, do one cannonball with me. Please for me? It would make me really happy." Ben says as Vanessa cracks one eye open at him and saw her friend giving her a puppy-eyed look as she sighs heavily and groans.
"Fine, I will do it," Van says reluctantly as Ben beams. "But if we get in trouble, it will be your fault, got it?" Van says sternly as Ben nodded and began fiddling with his gauntlet again as Van mentally sighs. "I am an enabler," Van thought to herself solemnly as Ben circled through his playlist and selected Cannonbolt again as he raises his hand.
"It's Hero Time!" Ben shouted as he smacked his hand down on the dial and a flash of green light occurred as he transformed into Cannonbolt.
"Alien Up," Van says blankly, not as enthusiastic as Ben as she activated her Biomnitrix and scrolled through her playlist as she found the alien that she was looking for and slammed her hand down on the dial as a flash of green light occurred and she transformed into Tricetaurus.
"Oh, boy! Oh, boy! Oh, boy!" Cannonbolt says excitedly while approaching the railings as he turned back to Tricetaurus and smiled at her expectantly. "You ready, Van?"
"Yeah, whatever," Tricetaurus says apathetically as Cannonbolt raised an eyebrow at her tone before shrugging as he rolled up into the ball and leaped into the air as Tricetaurus sighed and grunted as she jumped into the air.
"CANNONBOLT AND TRICETAURUS...CANNONBALL!" Cannonbolt shouted as gravity began to take a hold of them and the duo begins falling down as the kids crashed against Niagra Falls and produced a huge splash of water that could've been seen briefly from space. "Ha, ha, ha, best cannonball ever!" Cannonbolt says while swimming up to shore with Tricetaurus following after him as they both changed back to normal with a big flash of light.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah, anyway, let's go back to the RV before anyone catches us or something bad happens," Van says worriedly as Ben rolled his eyes at her.
"Stop being such a worrywart, Van. What's the worst thing that could happen by just doing a measly cannonball." Ben says with a scoff while walking back towards the RV as Van sighs tiredly and shakes her head at him as she follows up to them, both not noticing that Cannonbolt's and Tricetaurus cannonball wave knocked over a rock at the bottom of the lake, revealing a giant orange lizard-like eye glaring at the camera as it growled menacingly.
The next morning, we see the gang sleeping soundly on their beds with content smiles on their faces, only for the sounds of people screaming rang out across the RV as they shot up in alarm and looks around.
"W-What's going on?" Gwen asked worriedly while wearing her pajamas, which consisted of a teal blue T-shirt, white baggy pants, and blue slippers.
"Don't know, but it sounds like it came from outside," Max says while wearing his pajamas, which consisted of a red shirt, blue sweatpants, and no shoes.
"Let's check it out!" Van says with the others nodding in agreement as they jumped out of their beds and ran out of the RV as they saw a giant blue tentacle slithering across the city, and it destroyed everything in sight as people ran way in fear.
"Giant tentacle rampaging through town? Can't say I saw that coming." Ben says with a shrug as Van nodded in agreement.
"Oh, of course, I will marry you, Todd," A young woman says while gushing in excitement as her husband was proposing to her near the kids.
"Oh, Sally, nothing can ruin this perfect moment," Todd says just as the tentacle appeared as it grabbed the couple and lifted them in the air as Todd dropped his wife's wedding ring and it fell through the air as it was snatched by a pigeon, who flew off with it.
"NO!" The young couple shouted in misery before wincing as the tentacle tightened its grip on them.
"Okay, time to Alien Up," Van says while activating her Biomnitrix as she began cycling through her playlist.
"I think you mean it's time to go hero," Ben says with Van rolled her eyes at him playfully as Ben smirked at her before activating his Biomnitrix as he began looking through his aliens. "Alright, let's see which alien I would use today. Four Arms, no...Grey Matter, heck no...Stinkfly, nah."
"Hmmm, what about Freakazette? No, she will cause more damage than the tentacle. Vortex? Hmmm, maybe, but I'm not sure." Van says just as indecisive as Ben as the young girl turned to her partner. "I can't decide who to use."
"Me neither," Ben admitted as Van begins to think.
"Want me to pick for you, and you pick for me?"
"Deal," Ben says as Van nodded and grabbed his gauntlet while he did the same with hers as they both began cycling through their partner's aliens.
"No...no...no...no...no..." Ben and Van said in unison as they looked through each other's playlist of alien heroes before coming across two aliens that they have never seen before as they gasped in shock.
"Whoa! You got a new guy!" Ben says while staring at a silhouette of a weird-looking creature that resembled more or less like one of those Wendigos from that scary game that they both played a couple of years ago named, 'Until Dawn'.
"You as well!" Van says with a surprised look on her face as she saw a silhouette of a tall humanoid armored alien on Ben's Biomnitrix faceplate. "Huh, we must've gotten new aliens. Do you think we should try them out?" Van asked curiously as Ben grinned.
"Definitely!" Ben says as Van nodded and they were about to transform into their new aliens when suddenly, a worried Gwen pops up.
"Guys, wait!" Gwen shouted, stopping them from transforming as Ben turned to her in annoyance.
"Hey! No looking over our shoulders when we're alien picking!" Ben says as Gwen gave him a disbelief look.
"Um, hello! Filter here! This is no time to be testing out new aliens! Just pick the ones that you already know!" Gwen suggested.
"Hmmm, I think Gwen is on to something here. Maybe it is the best idea that we don't try out our new aliens on a new bad guy." Van says as Ben waves off the girl's concern.
"Gwen, I know you mean well, but trust me on this, we know what we're doing," Ben says to Gwen before turning to Van as he gave her a serious look. "Look, Van, there is no need to worry. I know you want to follow Gwen's advice, but my 'Ben-tuition' is telling me to try out our new guys." Ben says as Van bites her lip nervously and looks away.
"I don't know."
"Please." Ben pleaded while giving her the puppy dog-eyed look as Van tried to remain strong, but failed as she sighed and nodded.
"Alright, sure, let's do this," Van says reluctantly as Gwen gave her a disbelief look.
"What!? But-"
"Shh, shh, shh, we got this, don't worry, cus," Ben says with a smirk while silencing his cousin, who growled at him in annoyance as Van gave her a sheepish shrug before activating her Biomnitrix as she selected her new alien and Ben did the same as they both slammed their hands down on their gauntlets and a flash of light occurred. Once the flash dies down, we see Ben and Van transformed into their new aliens as they let out a yell and struck a heroic pose.
Ben transformed into a 5-feet-tall, red, metallic alien with green eyes as his armor is made out of Serpent Glass, has black mask-like markings around his eyes, two containers filled with water on his head, and two tubes of water reaching from a respirator from where his mouth should be all the way to his back. Also, his forearms were filled with water as he has three-fingered black hands, two black toes on each foot, and has the Biomnitrix symbol planted on his left shoulder.
Van transformed into a 6-feet-tall, hunchback-like humanoid being as she has pupil-less white eyes, glossy white skin, pointy ears, gills, small fangs, webbed hands with sharp claws, webbed feet, and a bald head with a few locks of white hair. Also, her muscle mass was almost, entirely deteriorated as she resembled more like a skeleton with her limbs being extremely long and more slender, has the Biomnitrix symbol planted on her back, and appears to be shorter than she really is due to her always standing in a low crouch as her only pieces of clothing consists of a two-piece tattered brown bikini.
"Let's do this!" Ben shouted determinedly with Van hissing in agreement as they sprung into action!
"This is all your fault!" Sally shouted to her fiance angrily as Todd glared at her in annoyance.
"My fault?! How the hell is this my fault!?" He asked in exasperation as the duo appeared on the scene, and Ben looks down at his body curiously.
"Alright, new guy, let's see what you can do." The armored alien says to himself as the hunchback alien growled and tried to look for the captive couple, but was surprised to find out that she was blind as all she could see was darkness.
"Rrrr!?" Van growled panickily while noticing that she was incapable of speaking English as she looks around blindly. Ben didn't notice her partner's predicament and lifted his hands at the giant tentacle as he fired three powerful bursts of water that impacted the tentacle and caused it to wiggle in pain as it lets go of the couple and they began falling through the air as they screamed.
"Grr?" Van hissed in confusion while shooting up in alert as she heard the couple's scream and suddenly saw two glowing figures falling through the air as they were heading straight towards the ground. Reacting quickly, Van ran off on all fours, moving at inhuman speed as she lifted her hands and easily caught the screaming couple as she sets them down.
"Thank you," Sally says gratefully before shrieking in fear at the sight of Van's new horrifying-looking alien as her scared fiance grabbed her by her arm, and they both ran off. Van ignored them as she looked down at her body and deduced that while she is blind, her other senses were far enhanced than normal humans and her vision seems to rely on movement. She was also was way stronger than she looks as her new alien was able to catch the young couple with ease.
"Nice one, Va-I mean, White Fang!" Ben shouted, not wanting to give away his partner's secret identity as Van began to think about the name and smiled as she grunted in satisfaction. "Anyway, it seems that this alien is like the world's most powerful water soaker. Cool! I think I'm going to name this one...Overflow!" The newly named alien says proudly as the tentacle shook off the pain and 'glared' at Overflow as it reared back and smacked him away as Overflow crashed against the wall so hard that it cracked and he fell down with a loud thud.
"Rrrr." White Fang hissed worriedly while running over to him as Overflow sat up from the floor and gave his partner a thumbs up.
"Don't worry, White Fang, I'm alright. I barely felt that. It seems that this alien has a super tough exoskeleton. I definitely give this alien five stars." Overflow joked as White Fang let out a couple of grunts that sounded sheepishly like a giggle and then stood up on two legs shakily as she held out her hand and Ben grabbed it as Van pulled him up to his feet, and the duo saw the tentacle making a tactile retreat as the young heroes glared at it. "Hey! Get back here!" Overflow shouted while using his water cannons to propel himself into the air as he soared across the sky, similar to how Iron Man flies.
"Grrr, rawr!" White Fang hissed angrily as she took off at high speeds and easily kept up with Overflow as they followed after the tentacle. A few minutes later, we see the duo flying/running to Niagra Falls as White Fang hid behind a few bushes while Overflow landed beside her with a thud as they looked on ahead and gasped as they realized that the tentacle was actually part of a 30-feet-tall, green, salamander-like monster, who had orange eyes, tentacles on the sides of its head, and small arms.
"Okay, what...the heck...is that?" Overflow asked as White Fang grunted in confusion, and then they both heard the RV driving up to them as Gwen and Max came out while wearing their everyday clothes as they ran up to the alien duo. "And why is it so hungry?" Overflow asked as they watched the lake Monster opening his mouth and a multitude of tongue tentacles slipped out as they latched on to an array of objects and began devouring them.
"Apparently there's a legend about a creature called the 'Hydromander'. It lives under these falls and hibernates for thousands of years. It only wakes up to do important things like eating," Gwen explains while looking up information about the creature through her phone.
"Wow, that's some rotten luck us being here just when he wakes up," Max commented as Overflow and White Fang flinched, and looked away nervously as Gwen stared at them both suspiciously.
"Luck or some super impulsive person with no filter that caused it to wake up and convinced his friend to go along with it, right, Ben?" Gwen asked while narrowing her eyes at Overflow as Ben laughed nervously.
"I-I have no idea what you're talking about." Overflow stuttered as Gwen glared at him, and Ben caved in as he sighed in defeat and nodded. "Alright, alright, my 'Ben-tuition' may have led me to convince Van to do a cannonball with me and accidentally waking up a hungry lizard monster from his slumber, but honestly, who would've seen this coming?! At worst, I thought we would've been kicked out or something." Overflow says with a shrug as Gwen gasped and glared at him.
"What did we talk about yesterday? That you ran everything by me, remember? Your filter!" Gwen scolded Ben before glaring down at a guilty-looking White Fang as she crossed her arms at her. "And you, this is why I didn't want you to be Ben's filter, Van. You let him get away with everything which leads him and you to get into trouble." Gwen says as White Fang whimpered and hissed apologetically as Gwen raised an eyebrow in confusion. "Why aren't you talking?"
"Oh, Van, can't talk as White Fang." Overflow explained as Gwen nodded in understatement and then went back to glaring at them as she was about to continue her scolding, but was stopped by her grandfather.
"This is no time for arguing, kids. This thing looks like it's about to eat the whole town!" Max shouted while pointing at the Hydromander, who grabbed a boat filled with civilians as he slowly pulled the boat into his mouth with the help of his tentacles. Seeing this, the Biomnitrix-wielders sprung into action as White Fang jumped onto Ben's back, and Overflow propelled them into the air thanks to his hydrokinesis as they flew towards Hydromander.
"Ben! Van! Wait!" Gwen shouted, trying to stop them, but it was too late as they landed on the boat and glared at Hydromander, who glared back at them as the duo grinned.
"Next stop on the tour...SUSHI!" Overflow shouted as he created twin water blades out of his hands and used them to slice through the tentacles holding the boat. Hydromander screeched in pain as it lost its grip on the boat, and the duo jumped off as the boat fell back onto the ocean.
Landing on top of the giant monsters head, the duo went into work as multiple tentacles swarmed around them and the kids went into fighting stances as White Fang let out a screeching battle cry and leaps up as she unleashes her claws and sliced through the tentacles as she landed on the ground, and bends down as a lone tentacle tried to reach out and grab her, but failed as White Fang grabbed it and used her inhuman strength to rip it in two as she let out a banshee-like howl.
Overflow let out a grunt as he created dual water whips from his hands and swung them at the tentacles as he sliced through them with ease. Hdrymander yelped in pain before growling as he sends out a multitude of tentacles at Overflow, who was not scared in the slightest as he closed his eyes in concentration and held out his hands as he created a circle of water that hardens as it turns into ice and it had sharp edges. Overflow lets out a battle cry as he threw the ice circle at the tentacles and cheered as he saw it sliced through all of them, but while he was celebrating, a small tentacle appeared and grabbed him by his leg as it hoisted a screaming Overflow into the ar.
"Rawr!" White Fang growled worriedly as she tried to leap over to her friend to free him, but was grabbed by another tentacle as Hydromander grinned at his catch and dived down into the lake as the kids panicked.
"Hey! Let go of us! We can't breathe!" Overflow shouted panickily with White Fang whimpering in fear as the aliens struggled to escape from the Hydromander's grip and swam up to the shore before they run out of air...but then realized that they have been submerged for quite a while and were totally fine.
"What the heck? Our new aliens can breathe underwater? Awesome!" Overflow shouted excitedly with White Fang taking deep breathes and realized that her new transformation can breathe underwater like a fish as she howled happily. "Ha, ha, oh, man, are you going to get it?" Overflow asked with a grin while turning to Hydromancer as he raised his hands and fired a stream of water at the giant monster...but all that did was pushed him backwards from Hydromander as he crashed against the ocean floor.
"Ugh, okay, that didn't work." Overflow says with a groan as White Fang glanced at him worriedly before glaring up at the giant lizard monster as she opened her jaws and bit down on the tentacle holding her.
"Agh!" Hydromander roared in pain as he let go of White Fang, who used the opportunity to swim up to him, similar to how a crocodile swims, as she unleashed her claws and slashed his eye. Hydromander screeched in agony while holding onto his bloody eye as he growled at White Fang angrily and swiftly grabbed her by the waist with his tentacles and slammed her down on the ocean floor as White Fang howled in pain.
"Vanessa!" Overflow shouted worriedly before glaring at Hydromander as he floated up and fired another blast at the monster, only for it to go around him as it struck his back. "Ow." Ben groaned as he rubs his back and turned back to the Hydromander, who wasn't paying attention to him as he was busy with White Fang as an idea popped into his head. "Okay, what if I..." Overflow trailed off as he propelled himself over to a distracted Hydromander and swam around at him at speeds similar to a torpedo as he created an underwater whirlpool. Surprised by the whirlpool, Hydromander lets go of White Fang, and Overflow used the chance to propel himself over to her as he grabbed her into his arms and swam away as they floated above the monster.
"Ha! Good luck trying to escape that whirlpool!" Overflow says smugly with White Fang blowing a raspberry at the giant aquatic monster as she and Ben shared a high-five.
Not amused by the whirlpool, Hydromander effortlessly escaped from Ben's trap, surprising the kids as Hydromander swam over to them and body-slammed them to the ocean floor as the kids groaned before deadpanning as Hydromander got on all fours and scraps rocks on them like a dog as he then swam off. Swimming up to shore, Hydromander roared as he grabs the tour bus from earlier, which was thankfully empty, with his tentacles and ate it in one go as he grinned and burped.
"Feeding complete," Hydromander says ominously as it then dived back down into the lake and swam away.
"This is not our day." Overflow says with a groan as White Fang nodded in agreement while whimpering in defeat as they sat up from the ocean floor and their eyes widen in alarm as their Biomnitrixes began beeping loudly and they changed back to normal.
"Mmmm!" Van shouted panickily while covering her mouth as Ben did the same and grabbed her hand as they began swimming up to the surface.
"Ben! Van!" Gwen shouted worriedly as she ran up to her friends, who had pulled themselves out of the water as they coughed madly. "Are you guys, okay?" Gwen asked as Van gave her a blank look.
"Other than getting our butts kicked, and almost drowning, yeah, we're peachy," Van says sarcastically as Gwen smiled sheepishly.
"Sorry, standard question," Gwen says as Ben, who was eerily quiet from the conversation, sat up and looked around warily.
"Where did it go?" Ben asked as Max pointed ahead, and they saw Hydromander swimming up the river that leads to another nearby lake.
"It's heading up the stream, let's move, kids!" Max commanded as the kids nodded, and the group ran over to the Rust Bucket as Max started up the RV, and they drove off.
A half an hour later, we see the gang chasing after Hydromander as Max and Gwen sitting up on the front of the RV and the kids were busy changing out of their wet pajamas in the back as Ben was changing behind a curtain placed around his side of the RV while Vanessa was changing in the bathroom.
"I can't believe this!" Ben shouted in disbelief while walking out of the curtain in his new dry clothes as he began pacing around. "We totally got schooled by that lizard monster!" Ben screamed in frustration just as Van appeared as she walked out of the bathroom in her new fresh clothes and gave her partner a worried look as she noticed how distraught he looked about the situation.
"The town was almost destroyed today by an ancient water monster all because of my stupid 'Ben-tuation'," Ben says with a groan while falling down on a chair with his hands placed on his head as he looked up at his partner with a guilty look. "And what's worse is that I dragged you into this mess all because I wanted to make a stupid flash. I'm sorry for tricking you like that, Van." Ben says regretfully as Van smiled at him slightly and walked up to him as she rubbed her back comfortably.
"It's alright, Ben, I'm not mad at you. I know you didn't mean for all of this to happen." Van says as Ben smiled before looking over at Gwen as he frowned at her sadly.
"And, I'm sorry for not talking to you about my idea, Gwen, even though I agreed for you to be my filter," Ben says as Gwen smiled at him lightly.
"It's okay, Ben, I'm just glad that you and Van are okay."
"No one's safe, yet, kids. Look like that thing is heading to Lake Eerie." Max says while pointing ahead as the group saw Hydromander swimming up to Lake Eerie and the Biomnitrix wielders turned to each other and nodded solemnly as Ben turned to his cousin.
"So is the offer of you being my offer still open?" Ben asked as Gwen grinned and nodded as they drove up to Lake Eerie, and everybody got out of the RV as they ran up to the shore of the lake and were surprised to see Hydromander floating on the lake as it laid on his back and moans.
"Look! I think it's hurt!" Gwen shouted while pointing at Hydromander, who continued moaning as it suddenly went still and began shaking as his skin starting growing bubbles.
"Whoa, I don't believe it!" Ben shouted in shock/happiness as Van beams.
"Look! It's going down!" Van says while pointing at the monster as they watched Hydromander closing his eyes and sink down into the ocean.
"It's history! You did it, guys!" Gwen says.
"Whoo-hoo! We beat him!" Van says cheered as an excited Ben cheered alongside her and then suddenly gave her a hug, surprising her a bit as Ben lets go of a blushing Van and begins dancing in victory, much to the girl's amusement as Gwen smirked while Van giggled at his goofiness as Max, however, was the only not celebrating as he stared at the lake suspiciously.
"I wouldn't celebrate too soon, kids," Max says grimly as the kids stopped celebrating and turned to him confusedly.
"Why not? It's not every day that we destroy a Hydromander." Ben says while placing his arm around Van's shoulder with a smug smirk as Van looked over at the lake, and her face paled as she pointed ahead.
"Uh, Ben, I think your Grandpa was right. We didn't destroy it the Hydromander, it's multiplying."
"What!?" Ben asked in shock as he and the others turned towards the lake and saw a smaller uglier version of the Hydromander popping out of the lake as it hisses at them and soon more showed up as they all growled at Vanessa and the Tennyson family threateningly.
"This must be the other thing that it does when it wakes up, it replicates!" Gwen says nervously as Ben and Van quickly turned to her.
"Quick, Gwen, what should we do?" Ben and Van asked in unison as Gwen places her hand on her chin and begins to think.
"Okay, I think it's best that you two use the aliens that you know inside and out. Like, maybe Heatblast, and Fairytail!" Gwen says as the kids nodded.
"Right, Heatblast," Ben says as he activated his Biomnitrix and slammed the core down as a green flash occurred, and once the light dies down, we see a humanoid fire being leaping into action as he struck a heroic pose and winks at the camera.
Ben had transformed into a 6-feet-tall, plasma-based, humanoid alien life-form as his body is composed of a super hot inner plasma that was covered by dark red/black rocks and has a rock-like faceplate with a flaming head, large oversized hands/forearms, a muscular built, the Biomnitrix symbol planted on his chest, his feet have a slight oval-like design with only two toes and one back toe, and his whole body was radiating with extreme heat. His name is...
"Heatblast!" Ben announced heroically as Van grinned and activated her Biomnitrix as she slammed the core down, and a flash of green light occurred. Once the light dies down, we see a humanoid alien flying through the air with the help of her large wings as she danced around mid-air for a bit before turning to the readers as she winked at them and giggled.
Vanessa had transformed into a 5'8-feet-tall, beautiful, humanoid alien that resembled a normal 15-year-old girl as she has emerald green eyes, long braided pink hair that reaches to her waist, Caucasian skin, pointy ears, and a small nose. She also has a pair of giant butterfly-like wings planted on her back, the Biomnitrix symbol planted above her breasts, and, weirdly enough, a lion-like tail. Her outfit consisted of a giant elegant green leaf dress that covers her body entirely, green leaf-like forearm-length gloves, and a pair of green leaf-like boots. Her name is...
"Fairytail!" Vanessa shouted cheerfully in a high-pitched voice as she and Heatblast shared a thumbs up before turning to their enemies as they glared at them determinedly.
"Hope you guys like the classics because here's a trusty standby by that I like to call...fireball!" Heatblast says with his usual deep and raspy voice as he cupped his hand and formed a small fireball as he threw it at a Hydromander clone and knocked it back into the lake as two more popped up.
"Or how about a magical glitter bomb?" Fairytail says with a chirp as she raised her hand and projected a small ball of light as she throws it over to the clones of Hydromanders, and the ball blows up as it sends off an explosion that knocked out the majority of the clones.
"Hey, trying to outdo me, Fairytail?" Heatblast asked while glaring at her playfully as Fairytail placed her hand on her hips and winks at him with a cute giggle as Heatblast turned back to the remaining Hydromanders and smirked. "Well, let's change that! Have a taste of my moon crest pyro kicks!" Heatblast shouted as he leaped into the air and began throwing multiple kicks that sends out moon crest-shaped fire waves that took out all of the Hydromander's army.
"Nice one, Ben!" Fairytail praised cheerfully as Heatblast landed on the ground, and Van flew over to her as they shared a high five.
"Thanks, Van, now let's-" Heatblast says before shutting up as he and Fairytail saw more Hydromanders pop up out of the lake as the duo blinked in surprise. "Oh, uh, okay, want more? Well, here, take my dragon's breath!" Heatblast says before rearing back his head as he took a deep breath and then let out a humongous stream of hot fire that burned half of the Hydromander army to a burned crisp.
"And take my icicle barrage!" Fairytail shouted as she flew up in the air and her eyes glowed pink as she raises her hands and projected four ice circles all around her as she let out a loud yell, and thrust her hands as she sends out a multitude of icicles that pierced through the remaining Hydromanders bodies, killing them as she flew back to Heastblast and they grinned at each other as Ben dusts off his hands.
"There that takes care of-" Heatblast says, but then his and Fairytail's eyes widen as they saw more Hydromanders show up. "Oh, boy," Heatblast says while sweating nervously as Fairytail turned to Gwen.
"Gwen, there's too many of them! What do we do?" Fairytail asked as Gwen bits her lip nervously.
"Uh...uh..." Gwen says, unable to come up with a plan as five Hydromander's used their tentacles to grab Fairytail, causing her to yelp in surprise as they pulled her underwater.
"Vanessa!" Heatblast shouted worriedly as he, without thinking, dived into the lake and swam after a struggling Fairytail as his fiery body snuffed out and turned gray as his flaming head turned into steam.
Fairytail covered her mouth and quickly protected a small bubble sphere around her head that allowed her to breathe as she sighed in relief and then glared at her Hydromander captors as she conjured four glowing pink tentacles that morphed into a pair of scissors that cut off the tentacles. The Hydromander clones screeched in pain as Fairytail used her tail to whack half of him away and then swam back as Heatblast swim in and kicked the remaining Hydromanders away as he turned to Van, and they smiled at each other as Fairytail grabbed Heatblast by his armpits and swam him up to the surface.
"Gwen!" Heatblast and Fairytail shouted while swimming up to shore as Gwen noticed that Ben had lost his flames, and she facepalmed.
"Oh, why did I think that Heatblast would be effective near water!?" Gwen asked herself in disbelief as the duo reached the shore just as more Hydromander's popped out of the lake as they screeched loudly and opened their mouths as hundreds of tentacles raced towards them.
"Oh, boy!" Heastblast says with wide eyes as he then grunted and ignited his flames as he threw up a giant firewall that protected them from the tentacles.
"Gwen, quick, got any ideas?" Fairytail asked as Heatblast nodded.
"Yeah, tell us what to do, Cus." Ben says as Gwen began to think again and gasped as an idea popped into her head and looked up at her friends with a serious look.
"Ben, use your 'Ben-tuation'!"
"But that's what got me into trouble!" Heatblast shouted as some Hydromanders tried to maneuver their tentacles through the flames, but Fairytail wouldn't let him pass as she conjured a magical energy blast that fries the tentacles to ashes.
"No, it isn't! I got you in trouble by making you doubt yourself! You're 'Ben-tuation' is perfectly 'Ben-tuative'...ugh, what I'm saying?" Gwen asked herself while face-palming as Fairytail turned to Heatblast.
"I think I know what's she saying. While you do make a lot of reckless and impulsive decisions, you do have an uncanny ability to know how to use your aliens successfully to beat up the bad guys. So, got any ideas, Ben?" Fairytail asked as Heatblast blushed slightly at the compliments and begins to think of a plan just as a tentacle managed to power through the frames as it latches onto Fairytail's arm, and Van growled in annoyance as she grabbed the tentacle and pulled on it as she whisked a Hydromander from the lake and slammed it against the ground as it moans and suddenly dries up as it dies.
"Huh?" Ben says confusedly as he stared at the dead fish intriguingly and then turned back to the Hydromanders as he gasped. "Wait, the Hydromander can't be on dry land, or else they dry up!" Heatblast says in realization.
"But how do we get them to dry land quickly without them trying to attack us?" Fairytail asked as Gwen gasped, gaining an idea as she ran up to her friend and cousin.
"Guys, I have an idea! What if you give these guys a little fusion cannonball special?" Gwen asked with a grin as Ben gasped.
"Wait, you mean?" Heastblast asked expectantly as Fairytail nodded with a smirk, figuring out what Gwen was planning as Ben smiled widely.
"Oh, boy, boy, boy!" Heatblast says excitedly as he and Fairytail backed away from each other and touched their Biomnitrix symbols as they quickly changed back into their normal selves.
"Let's do this!" Van shouted while activating her Biomnitrix, happy to find out that she had enough power to make a fusion as she dialed for Tricetarus while Ben dialed for Cannonbolt as they looked up at each other and grinned as they begin running towards each other.
"It's fusion Time!" Ben and Vanessa shouted as they jumped up and smack their gauntlets together as a green glow appeared and a fusion of Cannonbolt and Tricetaurus appeared as they landed on the ground with a loud thud and let out a loud roar that spooked the Hydromanders and the force of her yell blew Gwen and Max's hair back.
The fusion alien has Cannonbolt's body but with Tricetaurus added height as she has green eyes, three black horns on her forehead, two hulking muscular arms with four fingers as each finger had razor-sharp claws, sharp yellow teeth, elephant-sized feet, and the Biomnitrix symbol is planted on her right breast. Additionally, her body is mostly black with natural white armored plating on her back/shoulders/the back of her arms as she also has a long black tail with a war hammer attached to the end of her tail naturally. Ben and Van had now transformed into their combined female fusion of Cannonbolt and Tricetaurus named...
"Cannontaurus!" The fusion roared out as she turned towards the lake and grinned savagely as she took a couple of steps back. "This is going to be sweet!" Cannontaurus says excitedly as she curled up into a ball and landed on the ground with a loud thud as she begins rolling and charged towards the lake as she leaped up high into the air as her body cast a brief shadow over the whole lake. "CANNONTAURUS...CANNONBALL!" The fusion shouted as gravity took hold of her, and she begins falling down towards the lake.
"Mommy..." The Hydromanders clones whimpered in fear as Cannontaurus crashed against the lake and produced a huge splash of water that could've been seen from Mars as all of the Hydromanders were sent flying out of the lake and scattered across the area as they fell on the ground and screeched in pain as they slowly dried up and died.
"Nothing could ruin this beautiful moment," Todd says as he and Sally decided to make up and have a picnic together near Lake Eerie as Sally smiled at him with a blush and leans in for a kiss as Todd grins and leans in for a kiss as well...only for them to accidentally kiss a dried up Hydromander as they screamed in fear and ran away.
"Okay, easily the best cannonball in history!" Canontaurus bellowed out with a grin while walking out of the dried-up lake as she saw a groaning Hydromander clone lying on the ground, and the small creature glared up at her.
"Lame...lame..." Hydromander clone grunted out as Canontaurus smiled down at it.
"Aww, they're kinda cute when they're out of water...kind of," Canontaurus says with a shrug as the Hydromander continued groaning in pain.
A few hours later, we see the gang standing near the Niagra Falls as Max was busy locking up all of the dead Hydromanders on a lobster cage as Gwen and Van watched him until the girls noticed Ben standing by the railing as they shared a look and nodded as they walked over to the Biomnitrix Wielder and stood beside them as Gwen gave her cousin a guilty look.
"Ben, I owe you an apology. If I hadn't gotten in the way, your 'Ben-tuation' would be just fine." Gwen says as Van nodded and frowned at her friend sadly.
"Yeah, I'm sorry that I doubted your instincts as well," Van says as Ben smiled at them.
"It's okay, Van, I'm not angry," Ben says to Van before turning back to Gwen. "Also, Gwen, believe it or not, sometimes your filter is kind of right," Ben says as Gwen smiled at him softly.
"Thanks. We just have different ways of handling things. I like to play it safe while you like to play it fast and loose."
"If we're all going to survive the summer, we need to find a way to find a balance to our heroing, and if we do, I'm sure that no one will be able to beat us," Van says cheerfully as Gwen nodded with a smile.
"Yeah, do you agree, Ben?"
"..."
"Ben?" Gwen asked confusedly as she and Van turned to Ben, only to be blinded by a flash of green light as Ben transformed into Cannonbolt and leaped into the air.
"CANNONBOLT...CANNONBALL!" Ben shouted while curling up into a ball as he crashed against Niagra Falls and caused a huge splash of water that drenched the girls.
"Did he really just did that?" Gwen asked blankly.
"Yeah, he did," Van says with a deadpan look as she and Gwen watched Cannonbolt swimming across the lake while giggling as Gwen turned to Van and smirked at her slyly.
"Are you sure that you still have a crush on that doofus?" Gwen asked as Van nodded and smiled lightly as she stared at Ben with a small blush on her face.
"Yeah, he may be a goof, but that's what I lo-Gwen!" Van says lovingly before realizing what Gwen asked as she glared at the redheaded girl, who grinned sneakily as Van begins chasing after her angrily, and Gwen laughed as Ben watched the girls confusedly.
