Chapter 9:Up In The Air
Susan and Chloe's eyes opened wide. With a whoosh, they felt the house being lifted up into the sky! Susan and Chloe ran from where they stood checked to look out the window. They looked through the window and saw clouds and open sky. They could already see that they were way up from the ground. Susan gasped how fast this situation had changed. One minute on the ground and ,then, next, they were further away from the ground than she had ever been.
Chloe was smiling and clapping with joy. Susan turned and saw what was going on with Chloe. The decision she made to "go" with it, made Susan steam. She instantly was mad at Chloe for smiling and clapping at being up in the sky. Susan glared at her with, "be quiet" eyes. Chloe immediately stopped. She could literally see that Susan was furious at her. After Chloe stopped, Susan turned on Russell.
Susan looked over at Russell who was already laughing with joy because he had saw how Chloe was happy that they were up in the sky. Being all together inside of the house, seemed exciting to being going into the unknown. Russell was laughing at Chloe's joy so much, he had didn't realize that Susan was already standing right near him. She had walked up towards him quietly. When Russell's eyes had already met with Susan's eyes, he stopped laughing. He gulped down in his throat, and looked up at Susan,
"Hey Susan." ,he said nervously.
He could tell that she was already mad with him over something...
