A ridiculous rewrite of the New Blood finale that's even worse than the original. Enjoy.

A series of short stories about the many What If's of the Dexter series. Chapters 1-3: What if Dexter Killed Paul Bennet? Chapters 4-7: What if Dexter wasn't a Twat? (Season 9 finale rewrite) Chapters 8-? What if Dexter and Joe ("You") swapped Pathologies?

Moving to a new town can be taxing and stressful enough. That's even without having the tag along baggage that Dexter has. Still, Iron Lake may be just the place for him. He settles in, finds a job, and begins a new life. Or so he thinks. Things begin to happen and Dex gets that familiar feeling again. Can he stop his urges? Story takes place a year before "New Blood".

Many did not like the season, so here's an idea of how re-write it from scratch. The Harrison story is cut and this focuses on Dexter, the villains, and his double life slowly being unraveled past the point of no return. There is a Quinn-Dexter reunion pretty early on. Ed Olsen plays a far more important role.

This is an alternate/extended ending of New Blood featuring the trial of Dexter Morgan as the Bay Harbor Butcher and his return to Florida, as well as the fate of his son Harrison Morgan many years into the future.

Takes place at the end of Sins of the Father, New Blood episode 10. "He's reaching for her, reaching out his hand. He needs to hold on, to feel her fingertips gripping his."

A look into Dexter's psychology, per my (admittedly quite mainstream) opinion that Dexter Morgan is not, in fact, a psychopath, but rather a victim of PTSD and his own repression of emotions. Canon-Complaint, implied Debster.

"It's okay. I'm glad I went first, Dexter." It's dark and he can barely make out her ghostly form in the dim lighting. His body is still shaking, vibrating as he tries to push away images of the nightmare he just had of pulling her terrified form out of the icy water before she was snatched back under by a faceless monster… his Dark Passenger. It's the first Sunday after he moves to Iron Lake when he first sees her

He takes a deep breath and lets it out. "Deb, I'm the Bay Harbor Butcher." Deb knew him better than anyone. Relied on him for so much recently. She had to be able to see the monster, right? Starts during Season 2E11 "Left Turn Ahead" Dexter goes through with his confession to Deb.

8x12 drabble. "The one person who had been his constant, the one person who he had loved as much as it was possible for him to love was gone. And the kicker? It was all his fault."

Dexter Morgan has always lived for the hunt but sometimes he has to settle for smaller game. It started as a cover for a stalk. He was going hunting. He didn't count on Deb inviting herself along. So now, Dexter has a new hunting partner. Still, he's not going to let her in on his big game hunts. That's his private reserve.

There were two boys in that shipping container. Two. Harry Morgan only took one.

Sam is a children's book author and illustrator. He leaves to Florida to get inspiration for his new book and happens to find a job working a police station. Only he finds out that something is very wrong with everything around him. An Oc character thrown into the world of Dexter. No plans at all for romance or graphic detail. AU, but try to keep consistent.

In an attempt to salvage the trainwreck that was Season 8, I've rewritten the final moments of episode 11 and completely rewritten episode 12 in two variants: one that's supposed to be a definitive series finale and one that leaves the door open for a whole new season. Enjoy.

Debra can't wake up from her nightmares, and Dexter can't figure out how to make her nightmares stop. Takes place during the missing months between seasons seven and eight. Almost Dexter/Debra.

In a world where Paul didn't get out of prison until much later, he finds that Rita's got a lot of protectors much to his strong dislike.

Her attempt to talk things out rationally with Debra during the events of 7x11 failed but after some serious thinking, Hannah McKay has an idea that just may actually work. Even if it is unconventional for her.

In a world where Dexter met Hannah a little early on thanks in part to Brother Sam after having met him early on as well, he has a revealing talk with her after his road trip to Nebraska.
