In which your soulmate finds your lost things, and Matt and Jessica have lost a lot.

So, Matt's apparently alive. And getting stabbed again. Just a typical night, really. Good thing Jessica finds him.

Three supervillain attacks in one night. All three claim coincidence. Whether they're lying or not, each Defender finds themselves chasing an elusive lead, with information being kept just out of reach, before violently crashing together once again. The only question is, who's pulling all the strings?

It was about time these idiots met, but preferably not right after Matt had been injured. FEBUWHUMP PROMPT #12: "WHO ARE YOU?"

When the rest of the Defenders blip back it takes the whole team to find the missing Jessica Jones.

Matt's got apologies to make, and he's reasonably sure Jessica will hear him out before she punches him. He may be mistaken.

A devil in lawyer's clothing. A foul-mouthed, alcoholic PI. An unbreakable hero taking Harlem on his shoulders. A long-lost billionaire trying to find his place in the world. He wasn't prepared for the assault on his senses as a loud explosion rang in his ears, causing him to wince. He faced the direction of the explosion, focusing in on its location. Realization slammed into him, "Jessica," he breathed...

A handsome librarian hires Jessica Jones to help him find a book thief who goes by the alias "Beyonce." Jones finds the thief, and is soon roped into the responsibility of defending the multiverse's sorcerers from Karl Mordo's Illuminati.

There are scars all over Danny's back that he gives as much regard as a scraped knee. "It was the monks, part of my training at Kun Lun." The kitchen bar bend under Jessica's hands. "That's abuse Danny. You have to know that." It all escalates quickly enough. Claire is not impressed.

After the fall of the Hand, enemies remaining set out to a more dangerous plot, prompting some old allies to band together again but the trust becomes more shattered than before and they need to regain the trust and faith in each other to win the upcoming fight.

The one where the Defenders think there's something going on between Matt and Jess, and they keep accidentaly providing proof to their claims, until they basically start doing it on purpose to tease each other, until things get kinda crazy.

The detonator is broken, and one of them has to stay behind. Obviously, this results in an argument. And Matt getting punched in the face.

Matt Murdock is five years old when he makes his first friend. Her name is Jessica Jones, her hair is braided tightly back from her face, she has a gap between her two front teeth, and the whole thing starts with an argument of the proper placement of the bucket of pencils on the table they're sharing. After the events at Midland Circle, and minus one vigilante, the Defenders try to move on with their lives, on their separate paths. It's only a matter of time before those paths intersect, again.

What lengths would you go to protect the one you love? Jessica learns the hard way that being a single superhero mom is not easy. Especially when your hiding from the world. Hopefully she can keep her secrets safe. Ratings will vary from chapter to chapter.

Jessica just wants to get drunk in peace, but that's complicated by the fact that most of the bars in Hell's Kitchen banned her at one point or another. Josie's hasn't, but it has other drawbacks.

Post-Midland Circle: Jessica tries to deal with the after affects of losing Matt by diving straight into work. However, having countless nights with no sleep her judgement starts to become clouded. Lucky for her, someone's apartment was not that far away.
