What on earth is wrong with you?
You have to stop being so defensive... see what you get for being so stubborn... Oh, god, I'm gonna miss the job interview... usually, people have the right to make a phone call... maybe l can reschedule the interview... or I could call Matt, a bad idea... he is the last person I should call... I feel so embarrassed for what happened the last time we saw each other... being rejected for someone you like-, stop, stop, stop... there is nothing there... you were just horny... it's been a long time since you had sex... I'm tired... bored... angry... I miss Shay... I wish she was here to save me from myself...
Matt's POV
What on earth is wrong with you?
You had a great night yesterday, at least Brett told you she had, though you are here thinking of Gabby, not Brett... Gabby who had her lips wrapped around your thumb... sucking it sensually...
If I had stayed one more minute in her apartment she would have her lips around- stop, just stop... she is a friend, just it, nothing more...
A cold shower would be helpful right now...

"Casey... Casey... earth to Casey", Severide squeezed his shoulder, Matt had his eyes closed as laying on his bed.
"Hey... Severide, sorry... I-", Matt sat down on his bed quickly.
"You were daydreaming?" Severide chuckled.
"Kind of... forget it... you got the reports?"
"Yeah... let's go to the meeting room... it's quieter there...".
"Okay...".
A couple of hours later...
"Morning, guys...", Antonio Dawson approached the rescue squad 3's table on the apparatus floor.
"Hi, Antonio, long time no see...", Capp said as he shuffled the cards, "What brings you here? I hope you are not arresting any of us", he glanced around.
Antonio chuckled, "No, not this time, but I have my eyes on you two...", he pointed two fingers towards him and Tony.
Cruz came out of the turnout gear room, "Antonio!"
"What's up, Cruz?" Antonio and Cruz hugged briefly, "It's good to see you... How is your brother?"
"Out of trouble, I can assure you, unless-", Cruz paused for a second wearing a worried look, "if you are here because of Leon, please don't tell-", Antonio cut him off.
"Wait, wait, I'm not here because of him, man...", Antonio squeezed his shoulder, "keeping an eye on him, and you don't have to worried about that. Actually, I need to talk to Severide... is he in his office?"
"No, I guess not, the last time I saw him about ten minutes ago, he was with Casey in the meeting room... going over a few reports... ", Cruz crossed his arms over his chest.
"Okay, I'll look for him there... Oh, I nearly forgot, congrats on your engagement, I'm happy for you...", Antonio declared sincerely.
"Thank you, bro... I believe I found my soulmate in Chloe, she is amazing... I'm a lucky man...", Cruz stated happily.
"You deserve it, bro... I'm a happy man, my wife and kids are everything to me, so... go ahead and be happy...", they shook hands, and Antonio walked towards the double doors...
Antonio knocked at the door, then he pushed the door open...
"Antonio...", Casey got up from his seat, they shook hands, "... It has been a couple of months since we've seen you...", Casey slid his hands in his jacket pockets.
"I have been working undercover... I owe you two a few beers, I know...", Antonio raised his hands in the air in surrender, "... don't worry I always pay my debts...".
Severide raised his eyebrows as smiled at him, "I didn't say anything...", Severide and Antonio hugged briefly. "How are your parents? They looked scared that day... the fire in the kitchen moved to the living room so quickly...".
"Don't ask...", giving them an unsettling look, "... I'm thankful for each one of Firehouse 51 for rescue my parents without major injury... Now, they are living with us, it's the best for them, I mean they didn't like it... but we've been thinking of buying a new house with an independent unit, it might help to ease their minds... this way we can keep them closer and they have their own space...".
"Send them our regards...", Casey told him,"we are glad they are okay...".
"Thank you, man...", Antonio glanced at the papers on the table, "Are you two busy? I'd like to check some information with you, Severide... it might be relevant for this case we are investigating...".
"Of course... take a seat...", Severide went back to his seat behind the desk while Casey and Antonio sat down on the chairs in front of it.
Antonio pulled a small notebook from his back pocket as Casey and Severide exchanged a look, "We have got some leads from the Stilettos Club's register...".
"I'm sorry, we have only been there one time, Cruz's bachelor party took place there...", Severide folded his arms over his chest.
Casey furrowed his forehead, "Firehouse 51 responded to the fire at Stiletto's Club... and we've heard OFI found evidence the fire was arson...".
"We are aware of that, they allowed us to take a look at the club's register... We got your name Severide from there, my question is: did you and the other guys see anything suspicious that night?"
Severide thought for a few seconds, "Not, not really... everything happened as expected...", he shrugged. "Did you notice anything, Casey?"
"I haven't... the staff... the girls... nothing suspicious that made me think there was something shady going on...".
"The stripper that did the solo performance that night... Did you recall her name?" Antonio questioned.
"No, I don't... she was blond... it's the only thing I remember...", Severide informed him.
"She didn't stay any longer... after her other girls came in...", Casey filled in. "Why are you asking about her?"
"We have Nesbitt under arrest, but not his stand-in at the club, and two days ago Katya was murdered-", Matt cut in as he stood up abruptly.
"That's her name? the girl who did the solo show?"
Antonio nodded, "We suspect that Dominic killed her... we don't know how much she knew about Nesbitt's business, though a couple of girls from the club told us they were dating... or something like that...".
Feeling disturbed the second he heard that Katya had been killed, Matt couldn't help himself, throwing a look at Severide, he then stared at Antonio, "There is this girl, Gabriela-Gabriela Dawson-".
"How do you know her?" Antonio got up from his seat, narrowed his eyes at him.
"We studied together for a couple of months in high school... I recognized her the day of the incident in the club... we've kept in touch ever since... I'm a little concerned, now more than ever...".
"I told him to not get involved with her... it's just a feeling that that girl will get him in trouble...", Severide spoke his mind, even knowing Matt didn't ask for or like his opinion.
Antonio chortled, "She is the kind of the girl who would put a man in dire straits-".
Matt's expression became stiff, "Antonio-".
"I say it respectfully, please, don't take my head off... I have nothing against her, though you have to admit she is a bit sassy and single-minded... while you might like it, Voight can't stand this kind of behavior... I'll be honest with you... Voight arrested her, she is gonna stay there until tomorrow morning".
"It means she is involved in Nesbitt's business, I told you so-", Severide uttered satisfied with himself.
"Hey, I didn't say it", Antonio jumped in to explain, "... actually she didn't work there that long,... Voight said she was arrested for disrespecting an official, him in this case...".
"Could you do something to get her out? Gabby has a temper, still, she is a nice person...", Matt defended her.
"I'm sorry, Matt, but Voight is not in a good mood, and he rarely changes his mind, it's not worth it to try, believe me...".
"Can I talk to her?" Matt had to ask. "I don't know how to help her... maybe I should call a lawyer...".
"It's not necessary... I'll look out for her, okay? She is only gonna stay there until tomorrow morning, I assure you... at 8 a.m. she will be ready to go home", Antonio leaned on a desk.
"With Dominic missing, there is no better place for her right now...", Severide blurted out without thinking.
"Antonio, she will need protection, that guy is out there planning his next move, I-we can't let him get near her...", Casey voiced with an urgent tone.
"I understand you alarmed, yet we don't consider Gabriela is a target... our team is looking for him like crazy, after his attack on Katya, he is hidden, hopefully, we will get him...".
"I trust you... it's just... a lot to process...", Matt dropped his gaze as he had a hand pressed to his forehead.
"Do you want to send her a message? I can make it happen, it might ease your mind...", Antonio suggested.
"Don't encourage him", Severide said with a mischievous smile. "He needs to stop his obsession over that girl...".
"What?" Antonio looked at Severide then Casey, "There's something going on between you and that girl?".
"Don't pay attention to him, she is just a friend, I am taken...", Matt glanced at Severide.
"Okay...", Antonio shook his head positively. "No message for Gabriela, then...".
"Yeah...", Matt ran a hand through his hair, pressing his lips together"... the last time we saw each other, we...", Casey stopped when he noticed their scrutinizing eyes upon him, "... no message... Thank you for your offer...".
"I have your back, ... guys, I have to leave... It was great to see you two, wish it was under better circumstances...".
"Take care... we see you soon at Molly's...", Casey patted his back lightly.
Antonio left, and Severide turned back to Matt, who had a pensive look on his face, "... You told Brett about Gabriela?"
"No, there is nothing to say... If the time comes, she will know Gabby is just a friend... I don't see a problem there...".
"Okay, but I wish you could see your face when you talk about your friend...".
Matt went quiet... explaining himself to Severide didn't seem valid, his friend was determined to contradict him.
