It's simple really, at the age of five Philo is adopted by his father Absolom Breakspear.

When he's ambushed & attacked by unknown thugs, the injured Philo is found by Tourmaline and Vignette. Vignette must confront her feelings about the man she hates to love, the aftermath of Tirnanoc & this new life in the Burgue. Fluff! Whump! Orlando Bloom!
