It has been a week since their first mission was concluded, and the group arrived at Madame DeVal's estate. After accepting her invitation for further employment, the trio were offered a place to stay. Fritz and Fang were given a home in the nearby town of Nouveau-Val, a small rural community that despite the humid and hot weather was rather inviting to the two, while Heart was offered to stay in the cat's mansion, while she was taught how to handle her magic better... soon though, all three would be summoned to Lucille, with promise of a new task.
Heart had spent most of that week exploring her temporary home and becoming acquainted with it's residents. She had also been attempting to practice her magic, as well as received a package containing gear she might need for future jobs, such as lock picks and z grappling hook to add on to the device on her wrist. With some work, she succeeded and was quite pleased with the results. In the parcel was a letter she kept in her pocket or in her borrowed nightstand. All in all, she was trying to get more comfortable in her new environment, and fend off homesickness.
The heat was great... not so much the humidity. And it was so... rural. Fang smiled his smiles and kept up happy appearances, but there was something so... Off about being in a small community. However he did attempt to make frequent visits to Lucille's Mansion. In appearance it was so he could get to know his new employer in a non professional light, but deep down he REALLY wanted to see things like: where he could wander until he was stopped by a guard or the madame herself. However he would always wave it off as curiosity and would come when the cat came calling.
Deep within the far corner of his half of the house, Dr. Fitz Widget toiled, using those funds he had acquired to construct a very small, compact lab/workbench. Several dozen half finished projects and inventions littering the tiny work area as he waited to find a way to have his personal things from his old home, the exact nature of which he'd been very evasive about.
During the serpent's visits, he would find that he was treated as having full access to the mansion, finding rooms such as the library, parlor, the great hall, the servant's quarters, and so forth. Vast riches laid in Madame's home, however, he found great trouble finding just where she was keeping these curios... and also found himself once or twice tripping over toys left in the corridors of the mansion.
Heart would sometimes see Fang during his visits, and would greet him pleasantly enough.
He would greet her, since they were coworkers, but would try to find Lucille's secrets without her help. He would almost kick a toy or two in annoyance at the cat's secretive nature, but kept his cool to avoid an upset child.
Heart was unaware of what the snake was looking for, but wasn't too worried about it either. She was getting used to things on her end.
However, those who had visited the mansion may have noticed Lucille tended not to be available during the day. The trio, once gathered at the mansion in the evening, would be then escorted to the library. Lounging back in a clawed chair, the snow furred feline placed her book's ribbon in the page, and closed the tome. Placing it on her lap, she gave the group a warm smile. "Good evening dearies! Ah certainly hope y'all are doing well! Been having any trouble settling in?"
"More so from homesickness, but otherwise fine," Heart mentioned, playing with the gears of her bracelet. She looked to her two companions, "How about you?"
"Everything been fine! Just waiting for... a few items to be delivered from home." Said the Tapir.
"I suppose I'm... accommodating to the new environment." the snake says, deciding to stand against a wall as he listened to his employer.
Heart was seated in a chair, and wondered in a teasing, but light, tone, "How are you accommodating to the environment?"
"...The humidity is a bit much." the snake says.
"Ah do understand it was a tad sudden to drop that on all of ya, but, Ah do wish to have y'all nearby. Never know when Ah'll be needing ya talents." Leaning over to the small table next to her, she picked up her glass of wine, and took a sip. "Speaking of which, Ah do have a new errand for y'all to take care of, if ya are so inclined."
"Oh?" Heart looked up with intrigue in her eyes.
Fitz nods, having had time to accept the turn his life had taken, "Sounds good!"
"I suppose I'm on the payroll." the snake says, "What IS the job?"
"Merci, merci. Now... who here would like to visit Scotland?" She asked plainly, as if asking if there was anything they needed at the store.
Heart's eyes widened, "What?"
"Eh?" Fitz said, head tilting.
"...Scotland?" the snake asks, shocked.

"Ya know, Scotland. North of England, part of the United Kingdoms. Land of the moors and all. There's something there Ah would like mah hands on that resides in McAngus castle... the Lyre of the Banshee." As she spoke, she placed the glass back down, and folded her hands over her lap.
"...Well that certainly sounds like an ominous device." Fang says.
Heart gave a bit of a shudder, "I've heard stories of this. A man fell in love with a banshee, and this was her parting gift to him as I recall?"
"Banshees are known to try and bring warnings of doom with their cries."
"Indeed, a tragic tale of love and lost... according to the same stories, the Lyre lays in Castle MacDoyle, hidden away from the world... some say that Angus MacDoyle, the man she feel in love with still haunts the castle to this very day... and they seem to be planning on making the castle a museum soon..."
"...Right, fine. Banshees are like ghosts right? At least those are document, even if only as a pseudoscience show gimmick." The scientist mutters under their breath. "But that's still a kind of science, and I can work with that!"
"...So this time we'll be dealing with actual police and security guards." the snake says, "In what I'm assuming is a much larger location."
"Well, I am certain there's a reason Madame Lucille needs this?" Heart chimed in.
"Well, they haven't set things up quite yet... so this is the narrow window we have to obtain the lyre before this chance vanishes." She commented, extending an open hand before closing it into a fist, for dramatic flair.
"Is there something about the item we should be aware of?" Heart asked, "A curse or spell?"
Bringing a hand to her chin, she closed her eyes for a moment, before giving a nod. "They say those who play the lyre bring forth the deepest loss and sorrow in the heart's of the listener... sometimes even cripplingly so. Ah'd advise against plucking it's strings unless it's needed."
"How do we ward off against a ghost then? I'm sure he won't be thrilled that we're taking his dearest possession?" Heart asked.
"Hah." the snake hisses. "That's more than likely a story the museum made up to sell themselves to tourists."
Heart raised a brow, "I would not take things like that so lightly."
Lucille let out a soft chuckle, as she pulled out a small polished stone, triangular in shape with a carved out middle. Holding it up, she gazed at the three through the seeing stone. "Ah believe this may be helpful... it'll let ya know if there's any ethereal or glamoured threats nearby if ya look through it..."
Heart opened her hand to accept it, "That's a good start."
"I guess we won't know how to deal with it until we see it, ir feel it in some sense?" Fang mentioned.

"Well, you're the mystic of the group, so you'd probably know more then us. I mean, if their made of some kind of energy or plasma like in the movies, it should be possible for me to build something but..." The Tapir shrugs.
Heart turned to the scientist of the group, "I guess I have always been open to this sort of thing, well before I had magic of my own."
Clasping her hands together, the feline gave the group a smile. "If ya need anything else, let me know, and Ah'll have the plane ready for y'all in the morning."
"...Well this will be an experience one way or another..."
"I guess I will get ready, read up on whatever I can?" Heart suggested while looking around the library they were in, "There might be something in here to start with?"
"I imagine ya can read up on the castle, considering mah selection here. Ah'll have a servant find ya something ya can look into."
"Right, after all knowing is half the battle!" Fitz says, before bursting out into laughter at the old reference.
The snake bit his tongue a bit, shaking his head, "I suppose I will help with some of the research, maybe get an idea of who is turning the castle into a museum."
Lucille raised a brow at the tapir's sudden laughter, visually perplexed at the abrupt outburst. "Oh yes... well, it's the Scottish government, not a private institution."
Heart began looking about the shelves, trying to get a start on things.
As Heart went to look, a servant stepped out of the shadows, a book already in a hand. 'Noble families of the Highlands' "Now, Ah do suggest y'all get yaself ready now. The plane will be departing at sunrise."
Heart took the book and would begin studying while getting ready. She made sure all her equipment was on her person. While prepping her bag, she would read a bit more. When night found her, she would get a message through the device on her wrist, and would answer with optimistic caution in her note. Then she read on until she fell asleep with the book falling on her chest.
And so, the next morning they would be flown off to the Highlands, and were given a few days to simply enjoy the place as sight seerers. However, time was limited, and soon they would have to tackle the castle.

Heart had told the others of her findings on the way to Scotland, of the family and tragedy.
They decided to arrive at the castle just after nightfall. Arriving at their destination, after spotting several signs announcing the protected status of the land, they spotted through the heavy mists the MacDoyle castle, looming tall on the small island in the middle of the loch. By the shore, they eventually found a small boat tied up to a dock, quick likely used by a local fisher before it was abandoned.
"...Why do all castle ascetics go for large and foreboding?" the snake asks as he looked at the castle in the distance.
"I think it had something to do with warding away enemies..." Fitz mumbles, suppressing a small shiver.
"It also was to hold a large amount of people, from the extended family to those serving the castle," Heart mentioned after making a note on the device on her wrist. She looked about, "Ready then?"
"About as ready as I can be." Fang says with a slow nod.
When they were ready, they could take the small rowboat, and paddle their way to the castle. Luckily the main entrance was in view, and all they needed to do was land on the shore.
"Into the boat then? By the way did you learn anything in your research that could help with this?" Heart approached the boat and cautiously stepped in it.
With a nod, Fitz starts forward, walking towards the boat and putting an experimental toe in.
"It's all generic same old information. Most trinkets and valuables are boxed up, construction workers keeping everything old looking, sadly they're being hush hush about it until the big reveal date."
The boat jostled under their weight at first, but despite how old and ragged it looked, it proved to be sturdy.
"I did find mention of the tower the lord locked himself away in...my bet is if he was grieving for his lost love, the lyre would be up there with his spirit?" Heart told them while trying to row.
"...Ugh... Of course it's in the highest room of the tallest tower..." Fang hissed.
Now standing in the boat, blanace shaky, Fitz looks back to his companions, "So, we need to break into a spooky old castle, go up to the highest tower, to the mostly likely place a ghost is, if they do in fact exist, and still their most prized possession -uff" He grunts as he trips and falls on the seat. "Great, just... great."
"Better than someone else getting hurt with it?" Heart mentioned.
She again tried to start rowing, keeping focused on the task ahead, and that tower.
With the duck rowing, the trio eventually reached the island, paddling through a thick bank of fog. The dark water splashed at the oars, the ripples disrupting the moon's reflection. Finding ground, they would find themselves at the castle proper, the rotten wooden doors hanging on their hinges.
"Think of it like an adventure," Heart said while stepping up to the castle.
""I'm not an adventurer. I like to preplan, double plan, and finalize a plan before jumping wildly into the abyss." Fang retorted.
"Planning is helpful, but it can only get you so far. You simply can't plan for every detail or treasure out there," Heart replied with a shrug.
Before the group, the castle stood in the gloomy darkness and the thick fog of the loch. The wind blowing ever so faintly, causing the old rusted hinges to creak as the worm eaten doors swayed gently. Moss covered the crumbling stonework of the castle, signs of long neglect. The water of the lake lapped at the shore, the light of the moon dancing on it's surface.
"...So who wants to go in first?" the snake in a suit says to his two teammates as they look at the large, foreboding castle of doom.
"It's sort of pretty, almost soothing actually," Heart commented after changing and looking out over the moonlit water.
"I guess we find a way to the tower, that's where he locked himself away," Heart mentioned.
Fitz raises his hand, a look of determination in his eyes, "I...VoteNotIt."
Heart raised a brow, "I guess I'll go ahead then?"

Taking a quick breath, she gently pushed one of the lonely whistling door and stepping carefully inside.
As she pushed the door open, the iron hinges creaked in protest. As the web ridden frame was pushed open, inside was reveal what once was a great banquet hall... but now, the tapestries were molded, the cutlery left behind was tarnished, and the stained glass shattered. In the middle of the room was a long table, once adorned for a feast, but now had left to ruin. At the end of which sat a throne, where most likely the lord would welcome his guests from, but left to endure the ages. A curtain to it's right wafted in the faint breeze, and immediately to Heart's left was a stone stairwell leading upwards.
"Well, here we go," Heart said while taking another few steps inside, and slipping the seeing stone from a pouch on her belt, she looked through it with her left eye.
As Heart glanced around, nothing in particular really stood out to her.
"Nothing yet, but that would be too easy wouldn't it?" Heart sighed, taking in the cool night air. She seemed to be genuinely enjoying this in some way, "Should we head for the stairs then guys?"
Looking in from the door frame, Fitz glanced around quickly and, not seeing anything suspicius, walked in.
"I ah... I suppose so." The Tapir nods, making his way over.
"If the thing is supposed to be in the tower, I'd say so." the snake says, looking around before making his way to the stairwell.
Heart looked through the stone while beginning her climb.
The trio then ascended the stairs... before they noticed something was off. A few of the stone stuck out abit more than the others.
"Careful not to touch those I guess?" Heart mentioned while actively avoiding them as they went along.
Fitz gingerly steps over the stones, half curious as to what they do, but deciding that on the stairs wasn't the best place to find out.
The snake stepped slowly over the stones jutting out. "I thought this place was going to be a museum..." he hisses.
"It will be," Heart mentioned, "They probably haven't worked on it yet as Madame Lucille told us. That's why we're here now. At least there isn't security to worry about this way?"
When they reached the top of the stairs, they would find a hall. There was a door to the north, a door to the east, and the balcony to the west... but also, at the ceiling at the top of the stairs, a set of swinging blades were held in place... ready to swung down at the right trigger.
"...Well this would be an amazing tourist attraction." Fang replied.
Fitz made a strangled sound in the back of his throat, leaning against the nearest wall for support.
"So what direction leads to the tallest tower?" She looked around with the stone again.

As Heart looked around, she notice in the stone worked floor... what looked like heavy foot prints on the floor, that couldn't be seen by the naked eye.
"...Are you okay?" the snake asks the scientist as he leaned against the wall.
As they were heading to the door to the east.
Heart began to follow those steps, "I think I have a lead."
She looked over the door. Upon finding it unlocked it seemed, she carefully opened it.
As she opened the door, she found what looked like the castle's library. Dusty old tomes on the decaying shelves, a few of which had already gave way to the years and broke, leaving a few books on the floor, soaking in the condensation on the floor.
Heart winced at the damaged books, "What a shame."

She walked in and looked to see what could be saved. She used the stone again to look for anything out of the ordinary.
"There aren't anymore giant blades in there, right!?" Yelled Fitz, still against the wall, eyes darting about.
As the group looked around, Heart would find many of the book ruined, but Frit's would notice in his anxious state something odd... a tapestry on the north wall had the bottom flapping softly.
Drawing in a deep breath, the Tapir points over to the north.
"G-g-guys, th-the tapestr-ry is..." Forcing his nerves down, the tries again. "The tapestry is moving.".
Heart stood up from being crouched down looking over the books. She turned to the wall and lifted the tapestry carefully.
As she pulled back the textile, Heart would find behind it a short opening, enough for somebody half their size to easily pass through.
"I guess I can try and slip in, I think I am the smallest one here," Heart suggested.
With that she began to contort her body to fit the small space.
"...That's going to be a tight squeeze." the snake says.
Heart was able to squeeze through... and found herself on a parapet, leading to what looked like a secret enterance to the tower. She held her breath at the sight of the drop before her. Looking up, she started looking for a way up. Seeing the entrance, she shot her grappling hook from her wrist and began climbing up. To the others she called out, "I'm heading up from the outside!"
Heart would reach the other side, through her foot would slip once or twice on the moss covered stone. Reaching the tower, she found a small door cracked open.
"...Oh yeah, don't worry about us. We'll just go up the death trap way." Fang says, then tsks. "Can't be helped..."
Heart would carefully creep inside, using the stone again to look around.

Looking between the hole and Fang, Fitz sighed, taking out his freeze ray taking point. "Alright, lets go...But if anything swings down from the ceiling, I'm freezing first and asking questions later."
"If something swings down and you freeze..." The snake hesitates before patting his back. "...One step at a time."
As Heart entered the tower, she began to glance around with the stone. It seemed like a grand bedchamber, despite the age and neglect, still held an aire of nobility to it. On chest at the foot of the bed stood a harp, it's silvery frame shining in the moonlight. It seemed peaceful... serene... until a snicker filled the room. The clanking of metal rung out, as a short figure jumped from the top of the bed. Dressed in green grab, and holding a scythe, the iron booted small man cackled, his beak almost completely obscure by a feathery beard... and on his head sat a crimson red cap.
Heart reached for what seemed to be the base of a metal pole, that quickly activated into a staff with a crimson crescent blade topping it. With it, she would stand ready to defend herself.

The avian little man let out a mocking hoot, before it lunged at Heart, swinging it's scythe at her. "Intruder that you are! Never return to your land so far! Master's treasure you seek to steal! But you only become my next meal!"

Heading back into the hall, Fitz carefully opened the northernmost door, taking care to not stand fully in the frame.
He would find what looked like a study, with a hearth that hasn't been used for ages. On the north side of the room, he saw a door, which likely lead to a passageway to the tower.
"Alright, finally some headway!"
Fang saw the scientist find a doorway. "Ah, leeway." he says, walking t the door. "Hopefully there won't be any traps but... Go carefully."

What should've been a great battle between the two became a clusmy staggering, as he swung upon her with little grace.
Heart would swing and miss herself, "Sorry, don't mean to offend you or your master."

She would try again to disarm the small bird.

Heart was able to knock the scythe from the impish man's hands. He gave a scowl, sneering at her, before a cruel grin crossed his beak.

"Think you're clever, think you're smart. However your feet, I will break apart!" The nasty little man said, before raising up his spiked metal boots, and went to stomp about near Heart's feet.
Yet Heart was able to avoid the heavy steps of the fairy man.

Moving into the room with his ray up, Fitz, almost jauntily, moved over and opened the next door, beginning to feel much more confident at the lack of traps, "Heh, it was... it was probably just a fluke, yeah! A fluke!"
He would find a passage way, and quickly crossed it with no trouble.
Finding a grand door... the entrance to the room of the tower.
Fang sighed a bit, shaking his head. But he shrugged and followed after the mammal as he ran up the stairs. "Just be careful..." he says as he caught up, but he kept an eye ou for traps.
With the begins of a smile, Fitz throws open the final door...and promptly starts twitching at the sight before him, freeze ray still held up.
Acting almost on automatic, Fitz points the freeze ray at the small nightmare creature and fires!
The icey beam struck the devilish creature, frost forming over his small form. His head began to turn, all the way around to glare at the tapir with his large, red eyes. "You bring winter, you bring chill. For that, you I will kill."
Seeing this, Heart would take a chance to try and knock him off guard. With a swing, and a jolt of magic racing through her veins and conducted through the staff, it would strike at the creature upon impact. As she struck him, electricity crackled over his feathered form. Letting out a yell, his head spun back around to her, his eyes narrowing. He was still up, but his body twitched erratically.
"Jeez what are you two shooting a- What the heck is that?" Fang asks in shock as he saw the small, bearded man squaring off against Heart.
"NOT! GOOD!" Fitz answered loudly.
"Urgh... Alright." Fang reached behind himself and pulled out a small handgun, placing a dart into it and taking aim before shooting the small thing.
The dart flew into the air... and struck the foot of the bed, right next to the harp. The redcap, seeing the dart nearly strike the harp, turned his attention from Heart, and went to rush the snake, it's great boot slamming into the floor.
However, it's body was still reeling from both the ice and the electricity, as he came short of hitting his prey.
Taking aim at the onrushing imp, Fitz pulls the trigger once more. Sadly, his still shaking hand causes the beam to go wide, filling a section of the ceiling with icicles.
Heart, seeing her allies lunged at, would strike again to knock him out with the staff and her magic both extended from her feathered grasp.
His feathers smouldering now, he huffed and puffed. "You... not take master's treasure... will take great measure!"
"Where is your master then?" Heart asked with growing concern.
Fang loads another dart into the gun. "Yeah yeah." he says, raising his gun again. "It's just business." Heart started speaking, but he fired the tranquilizer dart and hit the thing in the chest.
The redcap looked away, at he question. "That is not your concern! To the inferno I send you to bu-!" Suddenly, the dart would strike the creature in the chest. Beaten, frozen, zapped and tranqued, the goblin staggered about. "You... you will pay... if not tonight... some... other... day..." With that, he collapsed to the floor, snoring.
Heart would step back and towards the harp. Using the stone, she made sure there were no other surprises waiting for them. She then found there were not more nasty traps in wait for them... but the harp did give a mournful energy around it.
Heart began to whisper a lullaby, as though trying to soothe the item's soul. She then picked it up the harp, but was careful not to strum the strings.
"Alright let's go before more freaks pop up." Fang says.
"Oh goodness yes please!" Panted Fitz.
"We are just trying to help, so the wrong hands don't get a hold of you," Heart tries to assure it.
It's pain did not seem to wane, despite Heart's best attempts.
"Is there something that could help? Maybe Madame Lucille will know what to do?" Heart pondered.
Meanwhile, the redcap continued to doze.
"...And now we're negotiating with a harp. Yep, that is a thing that is happening." Fitz commented.
"Kid... It's an object of magic that causes depression and we gotta go now." Fang says, "We got the harp, worry about the rest later."
Heart went to leave the room with the harp gingerly, but firmly, held in her hands. At Fang's comment, she raised a brow, "You could show a little more respect? It was his dearest gift after all, even if we are trying to keep it out of the wrong hands."
Heart started down the stairs, keeping a watch for anything as best as she could.
The snake shakes his head and follows after her, keeping the dart gun out at the ready just in case.
Upon stepping out of the doors they walked through, Heart looked up at the tower. "Be at peace?"
And so, they would soon return to the DaVal mansion. Gathered to her library again, they could find Lucille hastily putting a book away as they entered. "Oh! Welcome back dearies! Ah understand ya were able to acquire the harp? Ah do hope there wasn't too much trouble."

Heart walked up and gently set the precious instrument before the Madame, "Here, maybe you can help it?"
"The thing was guarded by a freak with a blade... I'm thinking you didn't know about that?" Fang asks the cat
"...We almost got killed by a tiny demon with metal shoes and a red hat." Fitz mentioned.
"I don't think any of us got a scratch on us," Heart mentioned thoughtfully.
As the mention of the red hat, Lucille placed a hand on her cheek. "Mah stars and garters! Sounds like y'all ran afoul of a redcap! Nasty little vicious things... it is truly a blessing y'all came out in one piece." As she spoke, she approached the group, and took the harp in hand.

Running her well manicured hands over the strings ever so gently, she looked back up to the group. "Merci, mah dearies... oh... there is one thing Ah must ask. Did ya happen to come anywhere near Castle McDuck?"
Heart shook her head, "I don't believe so."
"...McDuck?" Fang asks, eyes going wide. "No way, and I wouldn't want to either."
Seeing how Lucille handled the harp, Heart would mention, "Is there a way to ease it's sorrow? Is there a spirit still attached to it? The red cap mentioned we would pay for taking it some day?"
These questions had been on her mind the whole trip back.
"Excellent. Ah should've mentioned it earlier, but, no matter what, y'all are not to engage with the McDucks in any capacity. Ah hope that is understood... we don't need their attention in our endeavors." Still holding the harp, the heavy set feline turned back to Heart. "Oh... that is kind of ya dear.. but this instrument is made of sorrow. It is it's sole purpose, being a creation of a banshee after all. And as for that little goblin... pay it no mind, unless ya wish to return back to that old castle."
Heart shook her head, "I see."
"Nope." Fang says, and he was glad his employer wasn't freaking insane. Even HE didn't wanna mess with McDuck...
"We never did see the ghost, so I thought maybe it had become a part of it somehow?" Heart mentioned.

"Also, how can we warn the people there of something so dangerous up in the tower? We left it sleeping up there," Heart added, "I wouldn't want someone getting hurt by that thing as they turn the castle into a museum."
"Oh, as for the redcap... well, if it was protecting the harp, it'll probably go into rest... or try to find a way to retrieve it. However, if it does somehow find a way to get all the way over the ocean to mah humble home... trust me, Ah have precautions for such events."
"And the ghost... well, if he didn't appear when ya took the harp, perhaps his beloved was the one that took him."
Heart, taking in that last bit, felt a blend of relief and empathy for the couple, "May they be together in peace then?"

She was and wasn't aware of how odd that might sound at the same time.
"Well, I'm just happy we don't have to worry about that thing chasing us! That's gonna make sleeping tonight a bit easier." Said Dr. Widget relieved.
"...Yep, you've clearly thought of everything." Fang says.
Heart was unknowingly clasping the sapphire she wore in her hand as she listened.
Lucille raised a brow at the snake, before narrowing her icey blue eyes. Caressing the strings of the harp, she plucked a cord.

At the mere twang of a single string, Heart's eyes would begin to water, but it was a mere fleeting feeling of melancholy. For Fritz, the sound of the honking of a clown's nose rang through his head. Meanwhile, everything Fang had loss came rushing to his mind, flooding him with memories of what he once had that was taken away from him. "Oh... terribly sorry about that, mah finger slipped." Lucille said.
Heart gripped the sapphire tightly to try and push passed the brief memory that came and went in her head. With a breath, she reminded herself what had been the outcome in that moment and pushed through it.
Fang's eyes went wide and his eyes welled up a bit. He then shook his head and turned around, facing away from the group as he held a hand over his face.
Fitz's hands and jaw clench tightly as he begins taking deep breaths.
Wiping away a few stray tears from her own eyes, Lucille placed the harp up onto a mantle. Clasping her hands together, she took a deep breath. "Terribly sorry about that dearies. As usual, ya payment will be sent to ya before sunrise. If there's anything Ah can do for any of ya, please let me know."
Heart, still grasping at the gem hanging from the gold chain around her neck, gave a nod. With this brief memory brought back to her, and their recent mission lingering in her head...she found herself tangled up internally.
"...I'm just, gonna go home now. Night." Fitz breaths in deeply before turning and making his way to the door.
Heart did manage a wave to the doctor before looking to Fang, "Are you okay?"
Fang took a breath, slowly pulling his hand away. "...I'm fine." he says, straightening his suit. "Interesting trick that thing has..."
Heart looked to Lucille, and then the harp, "Perhaps letting it sleep peacefully would be a good idea?" Her tone was very polite, but concerned.
She gave a nod to Heart. "Very wise, deary... y'all may leave if ya wish. As always, my kitchen staff will prepare anything ya desire. Get some rest though, y'all earned it."
Heart gave a nod, and said to Fang a good night. Then she quickly slipped away to her room to change, and wanting very much to talk to someone. Though as to entirely why, she was only now beginning to realize just why.
Fang didn't turn back to face the group, he opened the door and walked out. He hissed low, but kept himself focused on just getting back home.
