Molly & Angel used to play hide-&-seek when they were kids, when they were alive.

When they were little, Molly loved playing hide-&-seek with her brother, Anthony. Their father's huge house had heaps of curtains and crannies to conceal themselves in and wait, stifling giggles, for the other to come along.

When they were a bit bigger, it stopped being so fun. Molly would find Anthony either bloodied, bruised, crying, or some combination of the three, as far away from the rest of the family as he could muster. She was the only one he'd let near, and when she found him she'd stay by his side.

One day Anthony was gone, and she wasn't able to find him.

In Hell, there are pinup posters of a tall, drop-dead gorgeous arachnid she knows must be her brother, because it's the same cocky-yet-sad eyes and gold-toothed grin she last knew in the living world. She can find his image everywhere, but he is far more elusive.

It takes years.

Molly locates his residence by less-than-scrupulous means (threatening a fan). His apartment building is a crummy mess - not what she expected for an apparently-famous stag film actor. She tiptoes down the hallway, trying to ignore the strange noises from the other residents.

She finds the right door, knocks.

And her brother opens the door.

He's taller than the posters implied; more worn-down too, and he stares at her like he daren't let himself believe.

"Molly?" That's his voice for sure.

"Hey 'Tony," she says, wobblily. "Found ya."

He laughs wetly, and she does too. They drag each other into a multi-limbed embrace, and though they're both fluffy spiders now the hug almost feels the same as it used to.

"I think I've had enough of hide-&-seek, Ant'," Molly sniffs into Anthony's (Angel's) shoulder. "That was too long."

"Uh-huh," is the murmured agreement against the top of her head.

A/N:

I'm back! After months of hiatus, heh…

This is a quick angsty-fluffy Angel & Molly reunion that's very much routed in fanon, seeing as Molly canonically isn't in Hell.

In this version of events, Molly would have reconnected with Angel well before the Hazbin Hotel started up; probably around the time that Angel became friends with Cherri. (haha Cherribomb shipper brain go brrrrrr).
