Look, I'm gonna be honest with you. There are things about that first chapter that I'm not very proud of, that out of the way, I need to do my best to make this chapter as good as I can. Now let's get to it.
Jun was knocked on the ground. It was Earthquake. He had hit Jun from behind with his kusarigama.
"Farewell, pathetic woman!" He said to her, he grabbed Jun and was about to throw her out of the stage, but then he heard a voice.
"Not so fast!" It was Lee with Nina on his shoulders.
"What do you want?!" Earthquake yelled at Lee.
"I won't let you eliminate my teammate." Lee said and put Nina on the ground.
"Then you're getting eliminated instead!" Earthquake dropped Jun on the ground, and ran towards Lee, he hits Lee with his kusarigama and knocks him near the edge of the stage.
Earthquake goes near Lee, he grabs him and stares at him "Any last wish?"
"Take a breath mint." Lee answered, kicked Earthquake in the stomach, grabbed his right arm and slammed him out of the stage.
Earthquake has been eliminated
Earthquake teleported next to Nakoruru in the audience area.
"We've lost a fighter, this is getting concerning!" Nakoruru said with paranoia.
"SHUT UP!" Earthquake shouted at her, clearly frustrated about his elimination.
"You have no style." Lee said to Earthquake.
"Thanks for saving Jun." Angel said from the audience area.
"Don't mention." Lee replied.
Tokugawa was rolling around looking for an opponent, then he heard a voice.
"Hey you, wanna fight me?" Ken asked me.
"You look fun." Tokugawa said.
"I'm Ken Masters, the greatest fighter from the US." Ken said.
"What's the US?" Tokugawa looked confused.
"It's not important, throw everything at me!" Ken said as Tokugawa started attacking him.
He kept hitting Ken with so many sword strikes and slashes, Ken did his best to block them while still taking some damage. Tokugawa had Ken at the edge of the stage. Before Tokugawa could hit the final blow, Ken moved out of the way and connected a Shoryuken. As Tokugawa was flying into the air, Ken launched a Hadouken on him, sending him out of the stage.
Yoshitora Tokugawa has been eliminated
Tokugawa teleported to the audience area. "This can't be, what did he do?" Tokugawa was confused.
"Oh no, we've lost two fighters now, I'm scared." Nakoruru was not having a good time.
"Don't worry, me and Poppy won't let you down Nakoruru!" Galford said to her from the stage.
"Just try your best." Nakoruru told him.
"We will." Galford said.
"Aw! Your dog looks so cute!" Cassandra said as she looked at Poppy.
"Poppy isn't just cute, she's super dangerous, we're gonna kick your ass." Galford said as he ran towards Cassandra to attack, but she kicked him in the testicles.
"AAAHHHHH!" Galford screamed and fell down.
Poppy jumped at Cassandra but she catched her.
"Aw! You're adorable!" Cassandra said "Such a shame that I have to throw you away to save my universe."
Cassandra went to the edge of the stage and threw Poppy out.
Poppy has been eliminated
Poppy teleported to the audience area.
"This is getting worse for us." Nakoruru said.
"Now where's that other guy?" Cassandra looked behind her to see Galford had ran away.
"Eh whatever." Cassandra said and went away.
"Hmm, something doesn't feel quite right." Bayman said.
"Pay attention or someone might take advantage." Ayane told him from the audience area.
"I don't know, I feel like someone's here and trying to fool me." Bayman was getting suspicious.
"Well, figure it out then!" Ayane said.
Suddenly, Bayman was hit from behind by a fire attack which he blocked.
"I knew it." Bayman said.
"So, you knew I was watching you." Scorpion said as he made himself visible.
"Making yourself visible was a mistake." Bayman said and as he ran towards Scorpion to attack him, he was hit from behind by an ice attack.
"What the..!" He looked behind and Sub-Zero was standing there.
"It's over." Sub-Zero said and launched another ice attack, Bayman blocked it.
Scorpion launched another fire attack but Bayman blocked it again.
"You know what to do Kuai Liang." Scorpion said.
"Yes Hanzo." The two of them kept launching fire and ice attacks at Bayman, he kept blocking but it was getting overwhelming, both of them finally launched a huge fire beam and a huge ice beam, both of these attacks at the same time were too much for Bayman and he was finally driven out of the stage.
Bayman has been eliminated
He teleported to the audience area next to Ayane.
"I told you to pay attention." Ayane yelled.
"You wouldn't have done much better." Bayman said in his defense.
"This is terrible." Ayane said.
"I still don't understand what they were hitting me with." Bayman was confused.
"Hey Hayate! Are you doing well?" She asked her half brother from the audience.
"I'm trying to focus Ayane." Hayate replied.
"We've already lost two fighters, you can't let us down." Ayane said.
"I'm not going to." He told his sister.
"Hmm, I feel someone's presence." Hayate thought.
Hanzo Hattori jumped and to kick Hayate from behind but he dodged and kicked Hanzo out of the stage.
Hanzo Hattori has been eliminated
Hanzo teleported next to Nakoruru.
"I should just give up." Nakoruru was on the verge of tears.
"Our team's not doing very well, we should fight together." Ukyo said.
"You're right Tachibana, but I'm not sure if I'll feel as concentrated that way." Shiki replied.
"Usually, I'd feel that way too, but our universe is the line and we need teamwork." Ukyo told her.
"Can't argue." She said to him.
"There's a lady coming, let's target her." Ukyo said as he pointed towards Cammy.
"Hey you! You wanna get in our way." Shiki said to Cammy.
"This might be hard." Cammy said as she got in a fighting stance.
Ukyo and Shiki started attacking her with their blades and they were beating up Cammy real bad. Cammy was helpless. They beat up Cammy for over 5 minutes and she couldn't fight back. Suddenly, D'Vorah saw this, she thought to herself.
"The other team has the least amount of remaining members, this one can't let them make a comeback." She wasn't gonna let that happen.
"Let's finish her." Ukyo said as he looked at Cammy.
D'Vorah comes flying out and takes Ukyo away as she makes him drop his sword.
"Tachibana!" Shiki shouted as she watched D'Vorah fly away with him.
Shiki started running towards D'Vorah. D'Vorah flew outside the stage, still holding Ukyo.
"Wanna see this one drop him?" D'Vorah said to Shiki.
"Don't you dare!" Shiki yelled as she stood at the edge of the stage.
"You forgot about me." Shiki heard a voice from behind, she turned around, and it was Cammy.
"Cannon Spike!" Cammy kicked Shiki out of the stage.
Shiki has been eliminated
Shiki teleported to the audience area.
"That was deliciously savage." D'Vorah said and dropped Ukyo.
Ukyo Tachibana has been eliminated
Ukyo also teleported to the audience area.
"This is not looking good." Ukyo said.
"WE'RE GONNA BE ERASED!" Nakoruru started crying again.
"Regardless of how this has been so far, we can't give up." Haohmaru said.
"Tachibana and Shiki already showed us how futile teamwork is, we should fight alone." Genjuro told him.
"I guess, but maybe we can execute our teamwork better." Hoahmaru suggested.
"Forget it." Genjuro told him off.
"You look tough." Mitsurugi showed up and said to Haohmaru.
"I can say the same about you." Haohmaru replied
"Let's do this." Mitsurugi said as both of them drew their sword and started battling.
Kasumi kicked Ivy so hard that she ended up falling so far away that she got near Genjuro.
"That was one tough girl." Ivy said.
"I'm gonna destroy you." Genjuro told her.
Ivy saw Mitsurugi fighting Hoahmaru "If I get rid of him, then Mitsurugi and I can team up on that guy."
Genjuro was getting ready to strike, but Ivy kicked Genjuro in his nuts. Genjuro fall down. Ivy tied her whip sword on his neck, span around with it, due to which he fell down from the stage.
Genjuro Kibagami has been eliminated
Genjuro teleported to the audience area.
"I'm hopeless." Nakoruru said.
"I've seen many like you." Charlotte said.
"Doubt it." Helena replied.
"I'll help you Charlotte." Galford came running, but Helena just kicked him in the face and he feel down.
"You know him?" Helena asked.
"Let's not talk about this?" Charlotte answered.
Hwoarang threw a couple of kicks on Juri's face.
"You're better at this than I expected?" Juri said.
"I haven't shown you anything yet." Hwoarang said.
"Neither will you ever." Juri started going for a combo and Hwoarang got ready to block it.
"Hey! Umbrella girl! You really think that'll help you?" Paul said to Setsuka.
"This is no ordinary umbrella." Setsuka revealed the blade to Paul.
"Well shit." Paul said.
Setsuka started unloading on Paul. She threw a ridiculous amount of strikes on Paul and he was being overwhelmed.
"You... have... no... idea... who you're DEALING WITH!" Paul threw a devastating kick on Setsuka and she went flying away.
Paul ran towards her and connected a brutal death fist that sent her out of the stage.
Setsuka has been eliminated
Setsuka teleported to the audience area.
"I'm sorry Zasalamel." Setsuka apologized for getting eliminated.
"Let's hope everyone else does better." Zasalamel said.
Charlotte and Helena kept fighting for a while. Helena finally kicked Charlotte's sword out of her hands. It was over. Charlotte simply can't beat Helena in hand-to-hand combat. Helena punched Charlotte in the abdomen, dropped her on the floor, stomped on her face for a few times and threw her out of the stage.
Charlotte Christine de Colde has been eliminated
Charlotte teleported to the audience area.
"How disappointing." Helena said, she looked at the unconsious Galford.
"I'm not eliminating him while he can't fight, he deserves to go out fighting like a warrior." Helena thought and went away.
Mitsurugi and Haohmaru have been fighting for over 20 minutes now. Ivy wanted to help Mitsurugi but he declined. The fight could end at any moment now. Haohmaru finally managed to hit a significant strike on Mitsurugi.
"AAHHH!" Mitsurugi screamed.
"Farewell worthy opponent." Haohmaru was about to eliminate Mitsurugi, but Ivy kicked him in the balls from behind and he fell down.
"I told you not to help me!" Mitsurugi yelled at Ivy.
"And let you get eliminated? No." Ivy replied.
As Haohmaru got up, Mitsurugi hitted him with countless sword strikes that sent him flying out of the stage.
Haohmaru has been eliminated
Haohmaru teleported to the audience area.
"I'm sorry Nakoruru." Haohmaru said.
"I've accepted our fate dear friend." Nakoruru said.
Galford finally got up.
"What's going on." He said to himself.
"It's no use Galford, we've lost, you're the only one remaining." Nakoruru said to him from the audience area.
Galford looked at the rest of his team in the audience area "Oh no." He said.
"I wish there was another way." Nakoruru said.
"NO! We can still win, I can do this!" Galford yelled.
"You can't win alone." Nakoruru told him.
"I don't care! I'm gonna save our universe, I'm gonna make you happy, I promise." Galford kept screaming.
"But Galford-" Nakoruru got cut off before she could finish the sentence.
"I'm not giving up hope no matter what! I'm here to fight." Galford took out his blade and went to fight.
"He sure is brave." Nakoruru thought.
He attacked Liu Kang and Liu Kang looked back at him.
"Look, I don't wanna eliminate you," Liu Kang said "if I eliminate you then I'll be responsible for erasing your universe, take my advice and jump off the stage."
"NEVER!" Galford yelled and continued hitting him with his blade.
"You left me no choice." Liu Kang connected a ridiculously long bicycle kick to Galford and sent him out of the stage.
Galford D. Weller has been eliminated
Galford teleported to the audience area.
"No need to forgive me Nakoruru, I'm a failure." Galford said.
"Even though we'll all be gone in a while, I've earned so much respect for you that I can't describe it, thank you Galford." Nakoruru said with tears in her eyes.
"Time for you guys to be gone." The game master said as he made a hand motion and erased the Samurai Shodown universe. Everyone from the Samurai Shodown audience area was gone.
"Such a shame that it has to be this way." Jun, who woke up from her unconsiousness said.
"It was either them or us." Lee answered.
Yes, I just Universe 9'd Samurai Shodown. I know many Samurai Shodown fans may not like it, but I did this to show how bad strategy and bad coordination can fuck up a team. It's handling of Universe 9 is one of the things I loved about DBS's way of doing the arc. Anyway, here are the current standings.
