This is not a chapter I was that motivated to write. But I'm going on a vacation, and I want to get this out before I don't have time.
Jun pulled him with her full strength and dragged him in to save him from elimination.
"Thanks mother." Jin groaned on the ground as he thanked his mother.
"You can do all that thanking stuff later," she said "we have a universe to save."
"Got it." Jin said as he stood up.
"He's grown so much, I feel so happy being around him again." Jun thought.
Taki and Sophitia had been fighting many opponents together for a while now. They were getting fatigued.
"You're just as skilled as the first time I saw you Taki." Sophitia said.
"You're impressive in your own right." Taki complimented back.
"I'm getting increasingly tired." Sophitia told her.
"My stamina might be higher than yours but it's still not infinite and I'll start tiring out too." Taki said.
"When we get back, I can't wait to hunt some sheep for a celebration dinner." Sophitia said.
"What?" Taki was caught off guard by the words she heard.
"What is it?" Sophitia felt confused.
"Oh nothing, it's just that eating meat's illegal in my country, so I just felt awkward for a moment." Taki explained.
Sophitia remained silent for a while out of shock "...really? Eating meat's illegal where you live?"
"Yeah, we still eat fish though, I'm really good at fishing." Taki said.
"...I respect your traditions." Sophitia was creeped out, but she has witnessed much weirder things.
Asuka and Lili arrived near them and they had heard a bit of their conversation.
"Really Asuka? Is the lady from the past speaking truth? Was meat really illegal in your country?" Lili asked, she was surprised.
"Yeah, I've read about it, meat was illegal until 1872." Asuka confirmed it.
"So incomprehensible, I can't live without a major part of many of my favourite dishes, I wouldn't survive in that period." Lili said.
"I'm mostly pescetarian, even if I cheat sometimes, I think I'd be able to survive in that period just fine." Asuka said.
"Just shut up already you two," Taki said "prepare to get eliminated."
Taki and Sophitia ran towards them and attacked. The two were giving Asuka and Lili a hard time with their blades. Lili managed to dodge a few blows and managed to hit a kick on Sophitia's face. Before Lili could do further damage, Taki stabbed her in the shoulder. Lili screamed and Asuka came to her aid.
"I can manage the two of them on my own Sophitia, leave now before someone can exploit you." Taki said.
Sophitia escaped from the scene and Taki continued fighting Sophitia.
Cassandra was fighting Cody right now.
"I'm not used to fighting someone with a sword and shield, but this has been fun so far." Cody said.
"It won't be fun after you're in the audience area." Cassandra said.
Cody kicked Cassandra hard and she tripped over on her body. He then stomped on her ankle.
"AHHH!" Cassandra screamed. He was about to stomp another time, but Sophitia arrived and kicked his face.
"Dare do that again?" Sophitia said.
"Uh oh." Cody thought and ran away before he gets overwhelmed by two fighters.
"It hurts alot big sis." Cassandra said.
"Don't worry, let me massage it." Sophitia said.
Cassandra sat down and Sophitia started massaging her ankle. Cassandra started feeling better.
"You've been massaging me since childhood sis, you've always been good at this." Cassandra complimented her.
"It's nothing." Sophitia said.
"We've haven't lost a fighter yet, this is going great." Sonya thought.
"Hey you!" Maxi called her.
"Me?" Sonya responded to him.
"Yeah you." Maxi said.
"What do you want?" Sonya asked.
"I'll be taking you out!" Maxi said.
"Try it." Sonya replied.
Maxi started swinging his nunchucks in every direction possible. Sonya kept dodging and attempted lots of attacks, which were all dodged by Maxi too. It was going super tense, until Maxi fooled her into thinking that he was gonna swing in the right direction. She moved in the left direction, from which, he kicked her jaw, and hit a correct swing to send her flying off the stage.
Sonya Blade has been eliminated
Sonya teleported back in the audience area.
"I expected more from you Blade." Raiden said.
"C'mon mom, how is it you of all people to be our team's first eliminated combatant." Cassie asked from the stage, unimpressed with her mother.
"You're not invited at next year's Christmas dinner." Sonya told her from the crowd area.
"GOD FUCKING DAMMIT!" Cassie was not happy.
Again, this chapter is shorter than I wanted, but I'm going on a vacation, so guys shouldn't be too surprised.
