I really didn't wanted this chapter to take as long ss it has. But it's finally out now. I can't fucking wait.
As Hwoarang hit Cervantes with a jumping kick, Cervantes blocked it with both swords, and attempted a sword strike. Hwoarang ducked and dodged it, and followed it up with a few punches and kicks. Cervantes dodged some of them, blocked some of them, and failed to avoid a few them.
Cervantes then, got in a sword stance, and delivered a Geo da Ray attack and it hit Hwoarang hard.
He dropped on the floor.
"Hahahaha! That's all you got pathetic boy? I expected better." Cervantes mocked him.
"Hwoarang! Get up!" Asuka yelled at him from her seat concerned.
"I'm trying." He whispered to himself.
Jin is about to go for an attack with his right arm. Kasumi manages to grab onto his arm last-second and then slams him into the ground. She delivers a flurry of punches to Jin on the ground before striking with her knee on his chest.
"This is bad, I need to turn this around somehow." Jin thought.
"Prepare to be eliminated." Kasumi was about to grab him and throw him off the stage, but she was suddenly hit with an ice attack from behind.
"Who did that?" Kasumi looked behind and it was Sub-Zero.
"You're gonna feel the wrath of the Lin Quei!" He said.
"Bad decision." Kasumi told him.
Sub-Zero kept throwing ice attacks, Kasumi kept dodging and running towards him, she was approaching nearer and nearer, it wasn't looking good for him. Then she finally reached him.
"TORN SKY BLAST!" And with that, Kasumi knocked Sub-Zero off the stage.
Sub-Zero has been eliminated
Sub-Zero teleported to the audience area.
"Are you alright?" Sonya asked.
"It's nothing." Sub-Zero answered.
"You fought well Lin Quei." Raiden said.
"Now where wa-" before Kasumi could finish her sentence, Jin kicked her in the back from behind.
"Gotta say, I'm a bit thankful to the ice guy for distracting you." Jin said.
Hwoarang went for a roundhouse kick but Cervantes ducked and went for a vertical sword strike with his right ar. Hwoarang back flipped away and avoided it. Cervantes took his guns and started shooting. Hwoarang avoided most of the bullets, but one of them hit his left shoulder, and one of them hit his right upper arm.
"You'll have to do better than that." Hwoarang said.
Cervantes ran towards him and slashed his chest.
"NO! You can't go down like this Hwoarang!" Asuka yelled from afar on the verge of tears.
"Why must she try to motivate me when I'm in so much physical agony." Hwoarang thought as he was trying to get up through his horrific pain.
Jin runs toward Kasumi and she sees him raise his right foot. She anticipates a kick and puts herself in a blocking position, but Jin instead feigns the kick. When Kasumi looks back, she sees Jin launching himself towards her for a kick with both legs, which overwhelms her defense. Kasumi gets sent a bit further, Jin hits her with a spinning kick and knocks her on the ground.
Scorpion sees this. He run towards Kasumi to get some payback for Sub-Zero's elimination. He draws his sword fully prepared to interupt her and Jin's fight. But before he could hit Kasumi, he got hit so hard from behind that it knocked him off the stage.
Scorpion has been eliminated
Scorpion teleported to the audience area.
"How in the world did that happened?" Raiden looked confused.
"He actually thought I'll let him attack Kasumi, what an idiot." Hayabusa said, it was him, he saved Kasumi after hitting Scorpion with speed that was incomprehensable by the rest of the fighters. She owes him big time here.
Kasumi delivers a flurry of punches to Jin before striking him with her palm. He goes flying hard. As she's about to go for another attsck, Jin stands up. Kasumi jumps in the air a flying, Jin hits a punch. His punch and her kick connect with one another.
Cervantes goes for another Geo da Ray attack, but as he got near enough, Hwoarang hits his face with a kick knocks him down.
"I don't care how powerful you are, I will teach you a lesson to never harm Asuka again." Hwoarang said, sounding exausted.
"Oh really?" Cervantes said, then immediately teleported behind Hwoarang and stabbed him in the chest.
"NOOOOOOO!" Asuka screamed with tears in her eyes thinking it's over.
"You... have done... ENOUGH!" Hwoarang yelled, freed himself from Cervantes, removed the blade from his chest and stabbed Cervantes with it.
"AAAHHHHH!" Cervantes screamed.
Hwoarang than connected a long 10 hit combo, despite his chest wound to send Cervantes off the stage.
Cervantes de Leone has been eliminated
Hwiarang immediately collapsed from his wound after delivering that brutal combo.
Cervantes teleported to the audience area.
"Great, you just had to make it harder for us?" Zasalamel said annoyed.
"Hey, I got rid of those two insufferable girls, give me some credit." Cervantes said.
"HE DID IT! He actually did it." Asuka was now crying tears of joy.
"I told you to just trust him, I was right wasn't I?" Lili said "though I wish I had tissue paper to wipe tears away, face is full of water."
"Can't believe I did all that for Asuka." Hwoarang said.
The game master was really amused as of now. But Hwoarang in particular impressed him, after what the pirate did to his teammate, he dedicated himself to eliminated him. And he fought hard for it, he didn't knew what to say but he was weirdly touched. Maybe everyone likes a person who's as dedicated as him. Again, it's just a maybe. Doesn't matter, it's not like his rival is having an equally tough fight with a kunoichi, isn't he? Oh wait.
Well, that was a chapter wasn't it? For the people who don't know, I ship the hell out of Hwoarang and Asuka. So yeah.
