Pyrrha sent Raider a worried look, "Are you alright?" Though, Raider waved her off, "Yeah, just watched something that was somewhere deep, no biggie."

"It appears to me that high levels of dopamine are being secreted." Blank and accusatory stares are being thrown in Penny's direction. "Meaning, you seem to be experiencing a high dose of nostalgia, why?"

"It was just a video, I watched nothing to it. It was only a RWBY Bmblb amv, but it just hit something deep and made me feel nostalgic, like, a feeling only a parent would know about." "But, you're not a parent, right?" Ruby asked with an eyebrow raise. "No! That's the thing, I'm not! Ugh, whatever, we're going on a tangent. We need to get back to the show."

"Are you sure you're-" Ruby silently asked but was cut off. "Yes! I'm certainly sure, I would know if I'm a mother! Wait, this is leading to a very weird topic, back to the show!"

*Volume Intro*

The episode starts off with Ozpin and Glynda, still on the same cliff they launched the students off of. The two of them are looking at monitors. "Our last pair has been formed, sir, Nora Valkyrie and Li Ren. Poor boy, I can't possibly imagine those two getting along."

"You'd be surprised how long those two have been by each other's side. With that kind of time, nothing will tear them apart." Ren turned to Nora, who gave him a large smile. The boy returned it with a small, more content one.

"Still, he's probably better off than Ms. Nikos." Ozpin hummed in acknowledgement. "I don't care what his transcripts say, that Jaune fellow was not ready for this level of combat. I guess we'll find out soon enough."

"Yeesh, when your own teacher has no faith in you, must be rough kid." Roman calls from the back, next to him is a chuckling Neo.

Jaune just looked down with a large amount of self-doubt. Maybe they're right, I clearly wasn't ready for this. I shouldn't have lied my way into Beacon, such a stupid idea. "Oi, Arc!"

He turned his head up with a frown, "You are ready! Just because you had a rough patch at the start, doesn't imply you'll stay there. Everyone improves the more they try. And the more they try, the more likely you are to succeed. Also, you definitely need more self-confidence, bud."

"Yeah! We're all here to help you Jaune! We're your friends!" Ruby shouted to the boy.

Man, this chapter is taking a much more wholesome turn than I ever thought. Not that I even planned for it to go this route anyway.

I'm so glad she has such wonderful friends. Comes another thought, Raider not exactly being able to tell who it was coming from.

"At their current pace, they should reach the temple within just a few minutes. Speaking of which, what did you use for relics this year?" Glynda asks, though he doesn't respond. "Professor Ozpin?"

He's too busy looking at his monitor, brows furrowing in the process. One the screen shows Weiss pacing behind a bored Ruby, who's sitting criss-cross-applesauce. "It's definitely this way." Says Weiss in a speaker voice.

Now it fully shows what's happening between the two. "I mean this way," repeating herself but turning in the other direction. Ruby tossed around a little leaf as Weiss went on. "It's definitely this way." She says, walking in the same direction.

"Alright," Weiss starts, Ruby getting up with annoyance. "It's official, we passed it."

"Why can't you just admit that you have no idea where we're going?" Ruby finally says, crossing her arms.

"Because I know exactly where we're going. We're.. going… to the forest temple!" Ruby groans in frustration. "Oh stop it, you don't know where we are either!"

"Well, at least I'm not pretending like I know everything!" "What is that supposed to mean?" Weiss saying her iconic line.

"It's exactly what it means Princess, pretty self explanatory." Qrow says, honestly being a bit that last time he spoke. Qrow could hear Winter growl close to him, but chose to ignore her.

"It means you're a big, stupid jerk and I hate you!" Ruby yells. Weiss just lets out a loud sigh. "Just keep moving."

" Just keep moving, hurry up, wah watch where you're going." Ruby says, mocking Weiss in her own voice, really sounding like a child. "Why are you so bossy?"

"I'm not bossy!" Weiss retorts indignantly, turning around "Don't say things like that!" "Stop treating me like a kid!" "Stop acting like a kid!"

"The both of you are acting like children, squabbling. And arguing won't get you out of the forest." Raven held a frown, her eyes shining with utter annoyance.

"I'm. Not. Perfect. Not yet, but I'm still leagues better than you." Ending the argument, Weiss walks off. "You don't even know me," Ruby mutters to herself dejectedly.

"I'm sorry Ruby." Weiss whispers with regret, back then not even realizing how stuck up and arrogant she was. Ruby brought the girl in for a good squeeze, a big smile plastered on her face. "It's okay Weiss, I know you're getting better. It just took time because of where you came from. And don't you worry your little head, your BFF will always be here for you. Team RWBY won't leave you for a second."

Weiss could remember the feeling of being on the verge of crying. She gratefully accepted the hug.

WHITEROSE! Also, dejavu anyone?

Team Bmblb make their way towards the forest that they find themselves in front of. "Think this is it?" Yang asks. Blake just gives Yang a 'Really?' look.

"Right, seems pretty obvious." Blake subconsciously gave onscreen Yang the same look. Yang caught whiff of it and combed her fingers through her hair nervously. Blake rolled her eyes and smiled softly at the Yang sitting next to.

Bmblb!

Blake initiated their walk down the hill, Yang following not too far behind. The two study the 'relics'. "Chess pieces?" "Some of them are missing, looks like we weren't the first ones here," Yang analyzed.

"Well, I guess we should pick one."

The screen changes to show Pyrrha and Jaune standing in front of the mouth of a dark cavern. "You think this is it?"

"Absolutely not."

"According to what we saw earlier, that does not appear to be the forest temple." The audience studied the girl weirdly.

The two are then seen walking through the cave, Jaune holding a torch and lighting up the path. "I'm not sure this is it," says Pyrrha, her voice filled with uncertainty. "Pyrrha, I made the torch, could you at least humor me for five more feet?" Jaune trips, dropping the torch in what was mostly a puddle of water. Leaving the area around them pitch black. The only thing visible on screen were their eyes. "Do you feel that?" Pyrrha asks. "Soul-crushing regret?" Jaune replies.

"No, it's…warm."

"Gross Jaune," said boy, looking at Raider with offense. "I didn't- Oh really!" Pyrrha eyed Jaune with genuine curiosity, "Did you-?"

"Of course not!"

Yang eyed the golden knight, then picked it up. "How about a cute little pony?" Blake smiles with amusement "Sure." The two walked closer to each other, "That wasn't too hard!"

"Well, it's not like this place is very difficult to find."

"Excuse me?"

"What!?"

"Oh come on!"

"Pfft, I think two teams would beg to differ, haha!"

"Okay, so maybe it was more trivial for others." "Understatement, part of the forest was burned down in the process."

Jaune and Pyrrha continued walking until they ran into a source of light, but the shape looked similar to a stinger. "That's the relic!" Jaune yelled in excitement.

"I can't blame him, he didn't know what it looked like, and it was shiny. Shiny things are more prone to be valuable, but I guess some things don't apply to that rule."

"I can assure you, those weren't the relics that were chosen for this initiation."

"We're all very aware Ozzy." Ozpin mouth dipped into a slight frown at the name. A gasp came from Raider, "Sorry, I just figured something out in my other form. Also, don't be a grumpy pants Ozzy, get used to the name because you'll be hearing it a lot coming from me, or Qrow, whichever comes first."

Ozpin sighed, seeing that there wouldn't be any point. It would just be something that would get on his nerves.

Jaune tried to reach for it, but it moved out of his hands reach. "Hey, bad relic." He tries it a second time but gets the same results. In his final attempt, he jumps onto the tip, holding on by its edge. "Jaune…" Pyrrha calls out in worry. The face of the creature is shown.

From the skies, Blake and Yang are seen from the ground, and the sound of a horrified girl scream was heard in the distance.

"Some girl's in trouble!" Yang calls out.

The room was silent before Yang and a bunch others began to laugh at Jaune's expense. Kali elbowed her husband and Blake slapped Yang's arm, who was reasonably dying of laughter. "That's your scream?"

Jaune wanted to dig a hole, then bury himself in it. "This is what I meant about the misunderstanding earlier."

"And boy was that worth it!" The more mature were either feeling sympathetic for the boy or holding in their laughter much better than the rest. Ruby wasn't in that category. "Bhahahaha! You scream like a little girl!"

"I know, can we just move on, please?"

"Fine, hehe, it is hilarious how Yang responded to it though."

Blake looked up at the sky, her brows furrowed. "Blake?" Yang calls out to her when she doesn't say anything.

From the outside of the cave, Pyrrha was running from the mouth, the screams sounding more prominent. Rocks burst everywhere from the cave as the size and creature was shown, and Jaune is seen hanging on for dear life to the scorpion grimm's stinger. "Pyrrha! Pyrrha, this is not the relic! It's not!" Jaune cries as the grimm tries its best to shake Jaune off. "Do something!"

"Jaune whatever you do, don't let-" Pyrrha was cut short as the grimm got enough momentum to fling him past the large expanse of trees. "Go…" She finishes. She turns back, as she faces the enemy, but rubs the back of her head with a nervous grin, ultimately fleeing from the encounter.

"Blake, what should we do?" Yang asks again. She turns towards the girl and sees her looking up at the sky with an open mouthed frown. Falling from the sky is Ruby, yelling, "Heads up!!!" As she plummets. Then, the screen goes black. The outro is it's usual, but, like last time, it showed a different pair; Nora and Ren.

"Ruby!"

"How on Remnant did she up in the air?" Comes the voice of a worried mother. Weiss put her thumb and index finger on the bridge of her nose, remembering the event clearly that day.

"Well, you'll just have to wait, because we're going to an intermission, and Ruby and Weiss can't say anything about it! Now, I'm sure you all are hungry or tired in any way, take these times as a moment to recharge."

A/N: Whoo, almost done with the first volume, how do you guys think I'm doing? Bad, not enough reactions? Trying on that one. Sounding a bit repetitive, also trying to mix those up.
