Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Horde of Horrors. Enjoy the 1200-word chapter. I don't own She-Ra, Mattel and a few others do.
"This is Adora?" Brennus questioned as he stood alongside Catra and Spyder. "Why does that sword look familiar?" Brennus questioned himself as Adora crossed her arms with a smirk.
"I should have known you'd be behind that energy here." Adora said as Brennus crossed his arms. "Who are your friends?" Adora questioned while Catra's smirk dropped slightly.
Friends? She dared ask THAT when she had run away? Now this was going to be fun.
"The same one who defeated your allies." Brennus said and uncrossed his arms. "Just like we're be defeating you…. But you can call me Brennus, Prince of Voruta." Brennus said as Spyder blinked.
"They're the enemy, right, Bren?" Spyder asked which was greeted by a nod. "Good, let's smash em!" Spyder yelled to which Brennus chuckled.
"Take them down!" Glimmer yelled while Brennus and Spyder advanced past Catra.
"I'll handle Catra! Go help Perfuma!" Adora yelled as the other princesses left forward.
Adora raised her sword, uttering the 'by the Honor of Greyskull' thing she always did as she transformed into, She-Ra. Brennus blinked at the 8-foot warrior.
"Handle me?" Catra said before shaking her head. "Bren, can you 'handle' her for me?" Catra asked with a smirk pulling her lips apart.
She-Ra swung her blade at Catra only to be greeted with sparks as her sword met Brennus's. Brennus pushed the woman back and hummed.
"Your friends need trinkets to have an advantage?" Brennus questioned as Mermista tried to stab him in the back. "Then you're going to fail. I only need my armor and my skill." Brennus said before blocking the trident with his forearm.
Brennus pushed Adora back before kicking Mermista across the chamber. Her trident clattered to the ground as Brennus hummed.
"You guys talk about how evil we are…" Catra said as she flipped over Brennus to slam feet first into She-Ra. "But there's six of you and only 4 of us actually fighting. Real heroic, Adora." Catra stated as Brennus and her approached She-Ra.
That was before Mermista reclaimed her trident and knocked both Brennus and Catra off their feet. Brennus planted his sword into the ground to pause his momentum.
Spyder fired a web line which wrapped around Mermista's arm before he tugged, throwing her away from the duo. He brought up his arm which Mermista smashed into.
"Catma kinda has a point…" Spyder said as Mermista groaned before he tossed her into a pillar. "This wasn't really a fair fight…" Spyder added as Mermista slid down the cracked column.
"This coming from the giant spider." Frosta said as she fired a blast of snow at Spyder who leapt away.
"You princesses have no skill, no honor, and no cunning." Brennus said while She-Ra slashed at him only for him to block it. "You're not warriors, your pampered poltroons who boss others around… How many of you actually earned the title 'Princess?'" Brennus questioned and sidestepped She-Ra's slash.
She-Ra tried to bring her sword down only for Brennus to catch her arm and toss her to the ground. He turned and clenched his fist at Frosta who had managed to freeze one of Spyder's arms.
Frosta heard a crack as one of the pillars splintered, surrounded by black energy as it crumpled over. Frosta dove for cover as dust and smoke rose from the cracked stone.
"As I said, pampered." Brennus hissed before looking at the recovering She-Ra. "Can you even fight without that sword? Does your ability to actually battle me rely on a bewitched blade?" Brennus asked while his hand stopped glowing black.
"You're the one wearing armor." She-Ra said before Brennus swung at the same time She-Ra did, knocking the sword across the armor.
"I wear armor as a prince of Voruta." Brennus stated and smashed his sword into the ground, cracking it. "I had to struggle and claw my way to where I am now… And I like it that way, because it gave me wisdom. You have no skill with that sword, do you? Have you actually fought someone head on?" Brennus asked while Adora clambered to her feet.
"Brennus, behind you!" Spyder yelled as Brennus turned to be greeted by a beam of water which turned to ice.
Mermista and Frosta looked at the frozen warrior before Mermista groaned and collapsed.
"Sorry!" Scorpia said before slashing at Frosta who retreated.
Brennus shattered the ice, spraying snow across the chamber before grabbing a large piece of it and hurling it. The ice smashed into Mermista, knocking the water princess out.
"First rule of fighting? Make sure the biggest threat is DOWN." Brennus said and leapt down from the hill of ice. "Like so. Are you done trying to claw at us like fang toothed Heraskrit?" Brennus questioned as he looked at the retreating princesses.
Spyder watched them leave as Bow went to fire an arrow at the group.
Spyder spread his lips and fired a web line which wrapped around his arm. Spyder yanked his head aside which threw Bow towards the group.
"Bow, Mermista!" Glimmer yelled before trying to fire an energy blast at the group.
Spyder fired another web-line, yanking Glimmer's arm upwards which caused rock to rain down. The princesses fled as their entrance was covered in stone.
"We will not have the element of surprise next time we fight them." Brennus said while he, Catra, Scorpia, and Spyder looked at the rubble.
"Yeah, but I have a feeling you'd like it that way." Catra said to which Brennus was silent. "We still beat the rebellion here, Adora's going to have to go tell her friends that she wasn't strong enough..." Catra added and smirked.
This felt good, Brightmoon was starting to fade from her memory as she looked at Bow and Mermista who were out cold.
"6 to on 4 and we defeated 2." Brennus said while sheathing his sword upon his hip. "As I said, they got too overconfident in their powers and abilities. They might be powerful, but power alone isn't enough to win… Not like we did." Brennus said as the group of Horde Soldiers entered.
"Ma'am, the princesses escaped back towards Brightmoon." One of the soldiers reported. "But we've secured the area beyond that." The soldier reported before noticing the princess and archer on the floor.
"We should transport them somewhere secure…" Brennus said and looked at the grinning Catra. "Victory excites you, commander?" Brennus questioned as Catra smirked.
"Something like that…" Catra said and turned to Scorpia and Spyder. "Spyder? Tie them up and take them to the Fright Zone with Scorpia. We don't need them telling Adora and her princess buddies what's going on here." Catra ordered as Spyder gave a salute and fang toothed smirk.

Phew. Another chapter done! I didn't make Brennus super powerful, he's simply skilled and has more combat experience. I am going to make him stronger later with a Runestone. Next chapter will be in 2-10 months and will show the aftermath of the battle and more of Catra and Brennus bonding and such. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!
