Join the Z Fighters, and maybe a few others, as they watch one of the greatest web series of all time! Rated M for... you already know.

38. We're Back, Baby! (Small Update)

Hey everyone, SkorchNTorch here. This isn't the update you all want, but isn't great as mass-communicating to people without posting a new chapter… So… Hi.

First of all, Chuck Norris vs. Segata Sanshiro is well underway! Don't worry, I'm working on it day-by-night. And it's coming along. I'm going to keep working on it, and aim to get it up ASAP.

But, I'm posting this update for an announcement. I'm looking at all my old chapters, and I'm thinking about re-editing some of them. Not re-writing all of them, but cutting out a fair amount. Namely, the story stuff. It'll still be there, but the focus will be, first and foremost, on the Death Battles. Remove some of the unnecessary crap, and put all the cut 'story bits' into it's own story, or over in Ashes From The Trash. I know some of you like the story bits, but at this point, I need to accept they just aren't helping.

So… the announcement is this, I'm going on a little bit of a Hiatus, not a long one, just one long enough to edit my old chapters. If you're a fan of them, don't worry. I'll save them, and upload them somewhere else if that's what you'd like. But the chapters on here, are going to be re-tooled.

I hope you understand why I'm doing this, and sticks with me through it.

UPDATE: 'Operation Skorch N' Torch My Fic' is done! Yes, that's what I'm calling it.

SO: For those of you who are new, or don't remember the old chapters, what's changed?

- Formatting

- Some jokes were altered, removed, or made better

- Some character reactions were swapped to be more 'in-character'

- A few chapters WERE removed and were either unnecessary, or simply added to other chapters.

- A number of story beats were removed, for the sake of keeping the story on the Death Battles.

- The first few chapters have updated author's notes telling you what changed, I stopped doing that quickly.

- The Chapters Interlude Number One (Hey!) and Burning Questions were removed, and added to the beginning of Vegeta vs. Shadow. Speaking of which, Vegeta vs Shadow is now non-canon, and Vegeta vs Shadow (Remastered) is the official chapter that comes after Kratos vs Spawn. The other one is there for lore reasons.

- New World, New Faces, New Problems was removed, the chapter could be summarized in two sentences, and was, at the beginning of Raiden vs Thor.

- The Godzilla vs Gamera Prologue has been removed, and slightly added to the actual chapter, a good chunk of it was cut out though.

NOW: You might be wanting to see those old chapters, don't worry. I have them saved. I'll re-upload them somewhere sometime soon. Or maybe later, IDK.

Either way... I'm not on Hiatus.
