There was nothing, then, Skorch walked by.
"Hm? Oh. Hey." The Entity nodded, looking to the reader. "Uh… this ain't what you were expecting, was it? No, I doubt it is…" He took a slurp from his slushy, then added: "Look, I have a bad habit of biting off more than I can chew, and I kinda did that with the Tournament of Power. Some of you may suggest I trim it, but someone I talked to had a great idea, make it its own story. So… that's the plan. The Tournament of Power is going to be its own sperate fic, which won't be published until the next chapter is done… Sorry if you wanted to read the T.O.P., but I have to choose what I wanna do, and I wanna move onto what comes next. With that said, enjoy the ending of the Tournament!"
There was an insane amount of power emanating around the arena… and then… people began to appear.
"Whoa! Where are we?!" Trunks exclaimed, looking around, surprised. "We're in space?!"
"What the heck was going on up here?!" Goten added, amazement taking hold.
"Goten!? Bulma?! What are you guys doing here!?"
"Uh, someone wanna explain what the heck just happened? I was crashin' on the couch, and then BANG!" Hercule spoke up, looking around in genuine confusion.
"Well, this is gonna be good." Spawn mused with a dark smirk, watching the heroes and villains begin to freak out upon seeing one another.
"Is this something we should be concerned about?" Goliath asked, looking to the Hellspawn.
"Can't say. So long as the flaming guy doesn't die, we should be fine."
"I was talking about them."
"Who cares?"
"YOU." Raditz growled when he saw Goku. Goku, was amazed to see his brother here all of a sudden. But he wasn't the only old rival to re-appear.
"Lord Frieza! You live once more!" Captain Ginyu exclaimed in shock. "This…this is unbelievable! We…if we knew, we would've prepared the dance of resurrection to celebrate your return!"
"N..no. That's not necessary." Frieza immediately said, glaring at Skorch who inexplicably had a boombox he was holding over his head. From the shape of his eye sockets, it was clear he was ready to play the music so they could do so.
"Wait. What the hell?! Why… WHY ARE THEY THERE?!"Vegeta shouted, finally voicing what everyone was thinking.
That was a good question, no one had any idea why so many of the villains they had. Fought and had been killed over trying to stop were currently here. Beerus and Champa to their credit didn't sit back and do nothing, they moved to the front of the group and took stances to simply destroy everything. None of the villains here were a threat to them, but if one of the fighters died, then their whole tournament was pointless… also, this was holding up them getting food. And that was the far more important thing.
"Vegeta?!" Another figure in the crowd exclaimed.
"Nappa…"
"Wait. Prince Vegeta!?"
"Raditz?!"
"Skorch, what the hell did you do this time!?" Vegeta shouted.
"Me!? I'm not the idiot who tried to hijack the powers of a God for his own ego! You think I'd do this intentionally!?" Vegeta gave him a look and Skorch admitted: "I totally would, but not like this…"
"Wait. Who's that?!"
"Who?"
"The purple ones and the fire one!"
The flashing lights seemed to die down, and figure appeared in front of the group. It was clear immediately who it was, and the anger was now being accompanied by annoyance and disbelief. While they hadn't seen him for a good time they knew whenever he showed up, bad things happened.
"Come the hell on, Duke! What the actual shit are you doing!?" Skorch screamed.
"Hey, man. You's in a bad place!" Duke laughed, puffing on his cigar. "Don't think I ain't forgot the crap you pulled a few realms back! Consider this my way'a gettin' even!"
"What do you want!?"
"Oh, it's time, baby…"
"…time for what?"
"Ha! That thin'you's been runnin' from all'd this time! Let's get it on!" Duke laughed, and Skorch's sockets widened in disbelief.
"Aw, poop…" Skorch muttered, before looking to Goku. "Yo! Go! It's time, man!"
