Hey y'all! I'm back with another chapter! Just to let you know, I was planning on trying to update yesterday, but life kind of threw a really scary curve ball at me. While I was home alone yesterday, someone broke into our house. It was two male voices, and seeing as I'm a female I elected to grab a heavy glass coke bottle (the only effective weapon in my room at the moment) and hide in my closet. I called the cops and they arrived within a couple minutes (longest couple minutes of my life). They got me out and it turned out that two of the neighborhood kids had broken in for food and water. Scary experience but I'm grateful that it wasn't more serious. God Bless the Fort Worth Police Department! Lots of Love to them for showing up so fast!

Something I learned from this that I would like to share with y'all really fast. If someone has broken in. IMMEDIATELY call 911. They will send you help! And don't hang up on dispatch until you see the cops within a few feet of you. Once you're safe, you can hang up. Also, give the 911 operator as much information as you can. ex: your name, how old you are, whether you're male or female, whether anybody else is at home, if you can tell the gender of the voices in your house, where you are in the house, exactly how to get there, a basic layout of you house. Anything that would help them find you and keep both you and the officers as safe as possible. Also, never stay hidden from the cops. When they call out to you, make yourself known. Make sure they know who you are and that you're the person who called it in. Also, make sure to remain as calm as you can. The operator has to be able to understand what you're saying. Also, if you can stay mostly calm until the police get there, then there is a better chance that you will not go into fight or flight mode. Instead, you will be able to keep your head about you and won't do anything stupid.

Just keep calm and trust that the police and God have your back. I was very scared but the police helped me and I am safe now. I love y'all and don't want anything like this to ever happen to you, but if it does, you have to keep your head on straight.

I am safe now, and am soon going to be signing on to be a Police Explorer. (basically, I learn to be an officer before I can actually be an officer) The second I am old enough, I will be joining the police department. They have done so much for my community and now, they have saved my life. I have wanted to be a cop for a long time, and this just cemented my wish. Please, send your love to the Fort Worth Police Department. They most certainly deserve it for all they do.

Now, I'll stop rambling and let you get on to the next chapter. Love you all and i'm really glad to be publishing this!

Lots of Love to the Fort Worth police Department!
