Here is the next chapter. Sorry for the wait. I had writers block, plus a death in the family. So I haven't been able to work on my stories for a while. But I hope you all enjoy this chapter none the less.

Chapter 12

"Zeal what are you doing here? I thought you were told to leave Hige's pack?"

Zeal growled at the brown pup as his teeth peaked threw his lips. Toboe whimpered softly and took a step back. Kiba seeing his quivering pack mate, took his place in front of him to block his view of the pup. The silver wolf glared at the white wolf and walked around the three wolves, never taking his eyes off of them. Tsume watched the rest of the wolves that were closing in on them and wondered what they wanted.

"What do you and these mutts want with us Zeal?"

Tsume said as he kept his eyes locked on the silver wolf who was walking around them. Zeal glared at the gray wolf and let out a growl. Tsume just smirked as he lowered his head, tilted it to the side, bared his fangs, placed his ears against his head, and got ready to pounce on any of the wolves that dared to take a step closer. Kiba sensing his mates' urge to kill turned to see Tsume and Zeal staring each other down. The white wolf glanced at the other wolves who were circling them.

"Tsume please don't do anything rash we are surrounded, and have no idea why they are here."

"Y-Yea Tsume we should just think before we act."

Toboe said in a shaking voice as he saw one of the wolves move closer to him. Tsume continued to watch Zeal but he did hear what his pack-mates said. The gray wolf glanced at the other two wolves from the corner of his eye. He saw that one of them were getting a little to close to his mate. So without a word the alpha pounced on the wolf and both went rolling around clawing and biting each other.

"TSUME!"

Kiba yelled as he watched his mate begin to fight the one wolf off. He growled, bared his fangs, and went to jump in when he was hit from the side by a large gray-black wolf. Kiba went flying into the water and hit his shoulder against a rock. Toboe watched as his two friends took on two of the unknown wolves.

"Hn...well looks like it's just you and me runt."

Zeal said as he took a step toward him. Toboe shook with fear but didn't want to leave his friends. He quickly glanced at Tsume and Kiba who were locked into their fights. Seeing as neither of them were in serious trouble, he turned his attention back to the silver wolf. Zeal just smirked as he took his position for attack.

With Kiba's voice fading on the wind, Tsume and the unknown wolf stopped rolling and both landed at the bottom of a hill. As the gray alpha shook off the dirt and his vision cleared, he watched as the other wolf slowly stood on his feet. The unknown wolf shook his head and glared at the gray wolf who was getting ready for another round. Tsume growled as he and the wolf began to circle each other once more.

"Hn...still on your feet? Well I can put you on your ass again if you want love the taste of dirt."

Tsume taunted as he and the wolf stared each other down. The unknown wolf growled at the gray alpha and pounced again. Tsume leaped up and met the wolf in mid-air and knocked the other wolf to the ground with Tsume on top of him. But before Tsume could follow through with his final blow a claw came up and sliced his cheek.

"Ahhh! Damn bastard."

Tsume yelled as he jumped back and shook his head. Said wolf ran at Tsume and tackled him to the ground once more. Both wolves rolled around on the ground trying to pin one another to the ground. Tsume snapped at the wolf's leg, but he jumped away at the last second.

"Awww. What's the matter old man getting tired? You know what they say you can never teach an old dog new tricks."

The wolf taunted as he stood his ground as he watched the alpha get to his feet again. Tsume glared and snarled at the cocky wolf. He'll teach him something if he really wanted to learn something. With that Tsume stood, smirked at his prey, and with a quick nod of his head, he waited for the young wolf to make his move.

Kiba rose from his place in the water and glared at the large wolf staring down at him. The wolf smirked at him, and went to attack Kiba once more. But Kiba jumped away at the last moment, and looked for his packmates. The white wolf saw Tsume was nowhere in sight, but saw that Toboe was facing Zeal.

"TOBOE!"

Kiba yelled as he ran toward the brown pup. Toboe heard his name being called and saw Kiba running toward him. He went to meet him but Zeal knocked him down with a hit to the side of the head. Kiba's eyes went wide and he growled as he increased his speed but before he could reach Toboe, Kiba felt fangs enter his back.

"AWWW!"

Kiba yelled as he tried to get the wolf off his back but the harder he tried the deeper the fangs went in. Toboe slowly lifted his head and with a shake his eyes cleared, and saw Kiba had a wolf on top of his back. He quickly glanced at Zeal and saw he wasn't paying attention, as his eyes were locked on the fight between Kiba and his wolf. Seeing this as his chance Toboe jumped up and snapped his jaws at the silver wolf's throat.

As Toboe moved to grab Zeal by the throat, the silver wolf looked at him from the corner of his eye. Suddenly Zeal turned and snapped at Toboe with his jaws making contact with his throat. The brown wolf let out a loud yelp and landed on the ground with Zeal over top of him. The pup then took his claws and began to claw and kick at the silver wolf's underside.

"T-TOBOE!"

Kiba said as he tried once more to throw the wolf on his back off. He slowly stood on his feet turned his head and bite the first thing he saw, which was the wolf's shoulder. With the sudden pain coursing through his shoulder, the wolf fell off and whimpered in pain. Kiba not giving the wolf another chance pounced on him and sunk his fangs into the wolf's throat.

The wolf under Kiba let out a yelp and before anything else could be said, the white wolf bit down harder until he heard a popping sound. Which ment only one thing, the wolf was finally dead. Panting, Kiba raised his head and looked over to Toboe and Zeal. He growled as he turned to head over to the two wolves, all the while blood continued to drip from Kiba's mouth and back.

Tsume watched as the cocky wolf came towards him. He saw the blood lust in his eyes, and knew he would strike any minute now. So with a deep breath Tsume stood his ground and waited for the moment to strike. The young wolf smirked as he began to pick up his pace until he was at a full sprint.

"Alright old man let's see if you can get up after this one."

"Old man huh? Let's see who's an old man after we're done dumbass."

The wolf was suddenly off his feet and in the air, Tsume jumped up to meet him, and both wolves collided and fell to the ground. The gray alpha twisted his body so that when they landed Tsume would be on top. The wolf gasped for air as the alpha stepped on his windpipe, preventing him from catching his breath.

"Now you are going to tell me what and why you and that asshole Zeal attacked me and my pack."

Wheezing the wolf glared at the alpha and didn't speak. Tsume chuckled to himself as he couldn't' believe how stubborn this idiot was. So deciding to get answers no matter what, he smirked, bared his fangs, and sunk them into the wolf's shoulder. The wolf released a wheezing yelp as his shoulder was bitten into, and blood began to fall to the ground.

"S-S-Son of a B-B-Bitch! I would rather die then tell you anything."

"Hn...Well don't worry I'll send you to your maker soon enough. Now for the last time...WHAT AND WHY DID YOU ALL COME AFTER US!"

Tsume yelled as he lifted his head from the wolf's shoulder and glared down at him, while his jaws were dripping with the wolf's own blood. Said wolf looked into the alpha's eyes and saw nothing but hatred and blood lust. So seeing as he had no other choice, and that he was loosing blood, and his vision from lack of air to his lungs. He decided to tell the crazy old alpha what he wanted to know.

"A-Alright I'll tell you. After Zeal was kicked out of his pack...

Flashback

"Zeal from this moment on you are band from this pack and this land. You have shown disrespect to me and this pack. You are never to come back or step foot on this land again. Now you are to leave and never to look back."

Higue finished as he looked at Zeal who was standing in front of him. He was still wounded from his fight with Toboe, but he was able to stand on his own. The sliver wolf just glared at his now ex-alpha and his mate. Blue was standing next to Higue watching Zeal be sentenced to banishment.

"Do you understand the orders I have given you Zeal?"

Zeal locked eyes with Higue and smirked. Oh he understood them all right. Noticing the look he received from the silver wolf was answer enough. So with a nod of his head Zeal was lead to the territory boundary, and pushed past it. He was now a rough wolf, but he didn't care he would get his revenge sooner or later.

After a few days of wondering the forest Zeal soon came upon a clearing in a valley. He saw there was a cave at the top of a hill. So with slow steps he approached the entrance and looked inside. He noticed no one was there so with a sigh of relief he laid down and decided to rest for a while.

"Well now, how should I get my revenge on those bastards and that good for nothing runt of a wolf."

End Flashback

"Then what happened? You still haven't told me why and what the reason was for attacking my pack."

Tsume said as he continued to pin down the wolf. Said wolf wheezed and whimpered in pain. He was staring to see double, and the lack of air to his lungs wasn't making anything better. Tsume seeing the wolf starting to get weak, decided to make him more alert. So he raised his head, bared his fangs and bite into the wolf's shoulder once more.

"Ahhhh! Damn old man...

"Tell me what else Zeal did?"

"When me and my brothers arrived back to our den we found Zeal inside. First we were pissed that another wolf entered our territory, then we were pissed that he decided to make himself at home laying inside our den. We confronted the silver wolf and wondered what he was doing inside our home without permission."

"All I'm getting is that Zeal trespassed in your territory. Will you get to the point already."

Tsume said getting very impatient with this wolf. He growled and showed his fangs at the wolf, telling him without words for him to get to the point fast. The wolf wheezed and tried to continue the story before he passed out from blood lost.

"After we found him we told him he had two minutes to leave or die. So after confronting him he decided to take us all on at once. Of course he beat us and told us that he was the alpha of our pack. Then he told us his story about how he was beaten by this runt and banished from his pack."

"So you just followed what he told you?"

"He told us that he had a plan to get his revenge on the runt."

"And what was the plan?"

The wolf wheezed as he tried to finish his story. But with a slow shake of his head the wolf spoke once more. He locked eyes with the alpha to make sure he was paying attention. When he had Tsume's attention he began to finish his tale.

"The plan Zeal had was we were to follow all of you till you were away from Heigue's territory. Then once done we followed you until he made sure it was the right time to strike. Once Zeal saw you and your pack arrive at the river bank, he told us to separate you so he could deal with the runt by himself."

"He was after Toboe?"

Tsume said as he thought this through. If that was true then why didn't he just wait until Toboe was out by himself why separate us? The alpha couldn't figure out why the plain went the way it did. What exactly is the reason for this attack?

Sudddenly the sound of yelps and whining filled the air. Tsume looked up from the bottom of the hill he fell down earlier, and recognized the sound of those yelps. Toboe...

The sounds Tsume heard were yelps and whining but it wasn't coming from Toboe it was actually coming from Zeal. You see after Kiba finished off the wolf he fought, he turned his attention to Toboe who was pinned down with Zeal over top of him, and had his fangs in his throat. So he began to walk over to stop the fight for the final time. When he got close enough he plowed into the silver wolf's side, which sent the wolf sailing into the closest tree.

"AWWWW! Damn you K-Kiba!"

Zeal yelled as he tried to get his breath back. Kiba turned his attention to Zeal and advanced on him. Toboe watched this and saw that his friend wasn't the same, he seemed possessed and the brown wolf didn't like it. He needed to find Tsume before Kiba snapped completely.

"K-Kiba please snap out of it. Your freaking me out."

The white wolf stopped and turned his eyes to his pack mate. But what Toboe saw was not his friend, but a dark look in his once clear golden eyes. The young wolf shivered at the feeling he got looking into his eyes. Kiba on the other hand just slowly turned his attention back to the silver wolf who was slowly getting to his feet. He cracked his neck slowly and shook his head, getting ready for the next attack. All the while the wounds from his other fight continued to bleed and drip onto the ground.

"Now its your turn to bleed you bastard."

"Hn, well let's see you try snowball."

Suddenly Kiba pounced onto Zeal and dug his fangs deep into the silver wolf's leg. With a loud yelp, Zeal was pulled down to the ground and had Kiba on top of him in a matter of seconds. But before Kiba could strike, Zeal raised his paw at the last second and his claws scratched Kiba on the muzzle and cheek. The white wolf pulled back and shook his head, all the while more blood continued to come out of his wounds including his new injury on his face.

Toboe was in shock. How could Kiba still be moving so fast and have great reflexes? He should be falling over or something. But the brown wolf couldn't figure it out, he just hoped his friend would snap out of it soon.

Tsume turned to the wolf that he pinned earlier. The wolf was breathing, but his chest was barely moving. Which only ment he was close to dyeing, But Tsume wasn't quite finished with him yet. The gray alpha approached the barely breathing wolf and growled at him. Said wolf slowly moved his head to look at the gray wolf. He didn't say anything, knowing he didn't have much time left.

Tsume watched the young wolf as his breathing slowed down and the life in his eyes dimmed slowly. Said wolf smirked at the alpha at the last second, finally stopped breathing, and his eyes finally faded out. When the wolf stopped moving Tsume turned his attention to the hill he heard the noises. He better get back to his pack before something terrible happened.

"Hold on guys I'm coming."

With that the alpha ran up the hill to find his pack mates. When he reached the top he noticed two things. Firstly there was a body on the ground next to the river. And secondly his pack wasn't anywhere near him. But to make sure, he trotted up to the wolf on the ground to see who it was. Seeing it wasn't Toboe or Kiba he then continued to search for his friends.

"Come on guys where are you?"

Tsume said to himself as he ran along the river bank looking for any signs for his pack. As he followed the bank he began to see patches of blood on the ground. He stopped at each one and checked the scent. With two not belonging to anyone he knew, Tsume continued to follow the trail. After a few yards he came upon another patch of blood, sniffed it and his eyes went huge.

"Kiba...

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Toboe moved to his feet slowly as he watched Kiba and Zeal fight. He couldn't stand watching it. Both wolves were bleeding badly, Kiba being the worst. He needed to do something but with his neck injured and his head hurting, he couldn't do much but watch. But he had to try something, so he looked to the two wolves.

"Tsume...where are you...Kiba isn't himself...I don't know what to do."

So with a final decison he moved further down the bank. He looked once more at Kiba and Zeal, and with a deep breath he let loose a howl that sailed down the river bank and into the valley. When he finished he fell to the ground tired and weak. Hoping Tsume or someone would hear him.

"Please someone help...
