Hi everyone! I am sooooo sorry for the wait I've been having severe writers block. And if that wasn't bad enough I recently lost my German Shepard. So I was definitely not in a writing mood. But enough of the bad news, onto good news. Here is the 15th chapter of Wolf Dog enjoy!

Chapter 15

Toboe laid near the entrance to the den. He still wasn't able to get past Kiba. The white wolf was still watching his every move. The pup couldn't understand why his friend was acting like he was. But he needed to get Tsume back here and see if he could get some sense knocked into the white wolf.

"Kiba...its me Toboe the pup...Don't you recognize me?"

Said wolf lifted his head and stared at the brown wolf. Toboe watched the white wolf's eyes and waited for any sign of recollection. But it was a lost cause, because Kiba just growled and showed his teeth once more. The pup signed with defeat and turned to look out of the den. He hoped Tsume and Knight would come back soon.

Tsume and Knight trotted in silence as they made their way back to the den. Both wolves kept to themselves mostly, but in their minds the thought about the same thing getting back. As the wolves traveled Knight took in the sights around him, he saw how peacefully it was here. Of course he loved living with Blue and Hiegue but it was something about this place that he just seemed to be drawn to. Tsume glanced behind him and saw the black wolf looking around the area near his den.

The alpha just shook his head and continued on his way, but as he approached the entrance to his territory he stopped in his tracks. This sudden stop almost made Knight collide into the alpha. Knight looked around the gray wolf and wondered what made him stop. Tsume began to slowly move into his territory and kept his ears, tail, and eyes alert. He knew something was wrong he could sense it.

"Um...Tsume sir...is...something wrong?"

"Silence I have a feeling something is very different with my pack."

"What? Is it Toboe? Is he alright?"

Knight said as he glanced around the territory and then his eyes locked onto the entrance to the den. He placed the food down and began to head up to the den, but a sudden hit to the side made the wolf yelp and crash to the ground. The black wolf lifted his head and shook the dizziness away and was face to face with a pissed off alpha. Knight whimpered and flattened his ears to his head and shivered.

"I told you to be silent. If I have to tell you again I will throw you out of here faster than you can say sorry."

The young wolf gulped and nodded slowly. Tsume growled and turned his attention back to his den. Something was wrong, but he couldn't figure out what it was.

Toboe watched the birds and wondered where Tsume and Knight were. They should have been back by now, what could be keeping them? The pup sighed as he glanced at Kiba who had his head turned away. The pup took this as a good time to head out and find his alpha and Knight. So with slow steps the brown wolf rose to his feet and took one step at a time, all the while glancing at the white wolf.

"Sorry Kiba I have to get Tsume back here. Maybe he can help you."

The pup then took the last couple of steps and was finally outside the den. He inhaled the fresh air and glanced once more at the white wolf. Seeing as Kiba wasn't paying attention the young wolf began his decent down to the valley. He looked around and finally noticed two figures entering the territory. The pup jumped onto the look out point and looked again at the two figures.

"T-Tsume...Knight..."

Toboe said to himself as he smiled and wagged his tail as he jumped down and ran as fast as he could to his alpha and the black wolf. As the pup ran he couldn't hold in his excitement so he released a joyous howl. Tsume and Knight raised their ears and listened to the howl, it was Toboe. Suddenly Knight was off like a shot, he was nothing but a black blur as he ran off towards the pup. Tsume just followed the wolf all the while being on guard, he didn't like the feeling he was getting from his den.

"TOBOE!"

Knight yelled as he ran towards the pup. Said wolf yipped happily as he put one more push-off the ground and tackled Knight to the ground. Yips and whining were all that was heard as the young wolves greeted each other. Tsume came up to the two love-sick wolves and growled to get their attention. Toboe and Knight stopped and slowly rose to their feet.

"Um...s-sorry Tsume I just couldn't help myself. I was just so happy to see you two have returned. So were you able to get anything to eat?"

"Yea we did Toboe it was amazing me and Tsume made a great team right sir?"

The gray alpha didn't respond he just walked ahead and continued on his way to the den. Both the young wolves watched the alpha leave. Knight was confused, why was he acting like this? Toboe suddenly remembered why he came down. He nipped the black wolf on the shoulder and silently told him to follow him.

With a turn of the head Knight watched as his pup hurried to catch up to the alpha. What in the world could be going on? But instead of thinking about it, the wolf just followed the brown wolf. Toboe finally caught up to his alpha and tried to tell him what was going on. But the gray wolf wouldn't hear it, so the pup decided to make him listen. Suddenly the pup jumped in front of the surprised wolf and stood his ground.

"Toboe...you have five seconds to get out of my way. I want to go and see Kiba, now get...out...of my way. Before I throw you."

"Ts-Tsume...please listen...I need to tell you something its-

"I don't care what you have to say. Now GET AWAY FROM ME!"

Inside the den Kiba began to move. He slowly opened his eyes and noticed he was alone. The white wolf was on high alert as the sounds from outside were making him very uncomfortable. He wondered whose voice he heard. He could remember a voice that sounded the same to one he knew, but he couldn't visualize the face.

"Where did that brown pup go?"

Kiba said to himself as he saw the pup wasn't anywhere near him or in the den. So with some effort, the white wolf rose to his feet and limped closer to the entrance to the den. He squinted as the sun hurt his eyes, but once that cleared he saw three wolves standing just outside the place he was in. The wolf looked at each of the others and couldn't figure out who was who. But before he could figure out anything a deep voice drew his eyes to the wolf who was now speaking.

"Toboe...move...I want to check on Kiba and give him his food. Now you have til the count of three...One...two-

"Tsume you need to listen Kiba is not himself he is acting completely different. Please just listen to me."

The gray alpha growled and took a step closer to the pup, who was now shrinking to the ground. Tsume glared at the young wolf and showed his fangs, telling the pup he was out of excuses. Toboe tucked his tail between his legs and rolled onto his back exposing his neck. The alpha was going to teach his pack member a lesson, when a black blur shot out from behind him and shoved the gray wolf away from the frightened pup. The alpha was shocked at first but his shock turned into rage as he was staring down Knight.

"How dare you interfere with my pack. I told you if you did I would throw you out of here without a second thought."

"You can threaten me all you want Tsume, but Toboe is just trying to explain what is wrong with your mate. All he wants is for you to listen."

"I don't have to listen to you let alone the runt seeing as I am the alpha. So move away from him so I can discipline him."

"I will not move. This is not right. I am not going to stand here and let you be little your pack mate, when he was just trying to tell you something."

"Why you son of a bitc-

"What would Kiba think if he saw you acting like this?"

Tsume stopped his growling and stared at the two young wolves. His mate would be pissed at him if he saw and heard how he was treating Toboe let alone their guest. The alpha smirked as he could hear his mate already.

"Tsume...I can't believe you...You are acting like a child...Aren't you supposed to be the alpha? Because if you are, that tittle means you need to set a good example for the rest of the pack. especially the younger ones."

Tsume chuckled to himself. He knew he was in the wrong, but that didn't excuse the blatant disrespect for him and his pack. Knight had no right to say anything to him seeing as he wasn't part of the pack let alone a mate to any of the members. So with that last thought he glared back at the black wolf and showed his teeth once more. Toboe who was still on the ground saw the look in his alpha's eyes and didn't like what he saw.

"Ts-Tsume...Please...don't do this...Knight...he didn't mean it...I-I-

"SILENCE RUNT!"

Toboe winced at the yell and whimpered as he ducked behind Knight. The black wolf stood his ground all the while wondering what could be going through the alpha's mind.

Kiba watched this exchange and tried to figure out who was that gray wolf. Somewhere in his mind he could remember something but at the moment nothing came to mind. He locked his eyes on the wolves below and watched a little more to see if anything clicks. But before he could put the pieces together, the gray wolf launched himself off the ground and tackled the black wolf to the ground. The pup yelled in surprise as he saw his alpha begin to fight with the wolf he loved.

"TSUME PLEASE NO!"

Said wolf was on top of the black wolf and tried to pin him down, but with a hard hit to the side of his head, the alpha was thrown to the ground. Knight rose to his feet and took his stand as he stared down the gray wolf.

"KNIGHT STOP I DON'T WANT THIS...PLEASE STOP!"

Toboe yelled as he tried to interfere but with a silent but dark look from the young wolf, made the brown wolf stop. He whimpered as he couldn't stand this he needed to do something. But what could he do? If he interfered he would most likely be the one hurt the most. So what could he possibly do?

Just then a thought came to his mind, if he could get Kiba to snap out of his confused state maybe it would help. So without a second thought he turned back to the den and headed back up. But before he could get closer he saw the white wolf watching from his place at the top of the hill. Kiba? How long was he there? Was he there for the whole thing? If so why didn't he say anything?

"Kiba please you need to do something. I know you don't have your memories back, but if you just think hard enough I'm sure you'll find the ones you need. So please I need your help if you don't Tsume will kill Knight."

Toboe said as he had tears falling from his eyes. Kiba looked at the pup and then a flash of what seemed like a memory came across his mind.

Flashback

"Kiba are you sure Tsume is happy with me?"

"Of course he is, he just has a hard time showing his affection that's all."

"But why does he treat me so bad? I haven't done anything to upset him have I?"

Kiba smiled at the pup and nuzzled his shoulder. The brown wolf blushed and looked away from his friend. The white wolf just chuckled to himself as he watched the young wolf. He liked making the pup blush he just looked so cute when he was all red. Kiba then stood up from his place on the ground, and stretched his legs.

"Well Toboe why don't we take a stroll around the border of the territory."

"But...didn't Tsume say to stay here?"

The white wolf chuckled and shook his head. He still couldn't get tired of the way the pup acted when he thought he would get in trouble. Kiba smiled at the young wolf and tilted his head towards the path that led out of the den. Toboe gulped and slowly rose to his feet and began to follow his friend. When they left the den both wolves looked around and with a decision made, Kiba led the way to begin checking the territory border.

"Toboe I know you think Tsume will get mad at you but, he will do nothing to you. I will just tell him that I asked you to go with me on my patrol alright?"

"Really? But I don't want you to get in trouble for me."

"Toboe...for the last time stop worrying so much now come on we have a long way to go."

So with that being said the wolves continued on their way to the territory border.

End Flashback

Kiba shook his head from the flash of memory and locked eyes with the sadden brown wolf. He watched him closely until something in his mind finally clicked. This pup had to be Toboe...right. The white wolf thought to himself as he looked the pup over once more. But there was only one way to find out, so with a decision made, he took a deep breath and spoke to the pup.

"T-T-Toboe?"

The brown wolf's eyes went wide as he finally heard his friend say his name. That had to mean the white wolf had some of his memories back. So he trotted up and smiled at the dazed looking wolf. He smiled at him and nodded his head in confirmation, which made the white wolf happy. Said wolf slowly smiled back and Toboe smiled brightly at his best friend.

"That's right Kiba I'm Toboe. I'm so happy you remembered me. You did great, now please tell me you remember who Tsume or Knight is?"

"Tsu-Tsume? Knight?"

Kiba thought for a few minutes and tried to put the faces with the names. But for some reason he still couldn't remember the other two wolves at the moment. Toboe saw the lost look in the wolf's eyes and saw that he still had no idea who either of them were. He needed to think of something but what? But before he could think of anything, a sudden silence fell over the area, and Toboe turned back and saw Tsume and Knight staring each other down again.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Knight and Tsume locked eyes with each other as they began to circle each other. Both wolves glared at each other, watching each other to see who would strike first. Tsume smirked as he licked at a trickle of blood from his muzzle, from a wound the black wolf placed on him. He had to admit the young wolf had great potential to be an alpha. But he still had a lot to learn about running a pack.

"Tsume I want you to know that I really didn't want it to come to this. I do respect you and I do apologize. But seeing as you won't listen to reason I'll just have to knock some sense into you."

Knight said as he watched the gray alpha closely. Tsume showed his teeth once more and growled at the wolf. The alpha almost had to laugh at Knight's little speech. He was going to knock some sense into him, HIM really? Well he can try but it won't be easy that's for sure.

"Hn...you want to teach me something? Ha...good luck punk. You may talk tough but can you back it up? Because I can tell you won't be able to. Besides what would Toboe think if you hurt or worse...killed me?"

Knight's eyes went wide at that statement. As hard as he would want to fight it, he had to admit that the gray wolf was right. He couldn't attack his love's alpha it would make Toboe hate him. After all the effort he made just getting as far as he did. He stopped circling and lifted his head to look for Toboe.

"I will give you two choices. 1. Leave now and don't look back. Or 2. You can apologize to me and my pack. Make your choice."

Tsume said as he watched the black wolf. Knight stared up at the den and continued to look for Toboe. When looked around once more he finally saw a pair of brown eyes that were filled with fear and sadness. When Knight saw the look in those beautiful eyes he knew what decision he had to make. Even though the choice was not an easy one to make.

"Alright Tsume you win. I'll leave but I want you to promise me something. Once you hear what Toboe has to say, I hope you will treat him better than you have been. That's all I ask because I love him. And I believe he deserves better than he has now."

Knight then locked eyes with the pup who watched him. Then without another word the black wolf turned and ran out of the valley and into the woods. Tsume watched the young wolf disappear through the woods and out of his territory. He then trotted back to the pile of food, picked up as much as he could carry, then trotted up to the den. When he arrived he saw his two pack members watching him.

"Tsume why did Knight leave? What happened? Is he coming back?"

"Toboe go down and gather the rest of the food."

"But I need to know why Kni-

"I SAID GATHER THE REST OF THE FOOD NOW!"

Toboe yelped and ran down the hill to get the food. The gray alpha growled as he watched the pup. He then returned his attention to his mate, who somehow got out of the den. He smiled and approached the wolf. Kiba stared at the gray wolf and tried to figure out who this wolf was.

"Kiba I finally was able to get you some food. Why don't you try to eat some and get your strength back."

Kiba looked down at the pile of food, then back up at the gray wolf that offered it. He tilted his head to the side and tried to remember who he was. But he just couldn't do it, so he just began to eat. Tsume smiled once more, walked around the white wolf, then laid down next to him as he too began to eat. After a few minutes Kiba finished his meal, cleaned his muzzle of the blood and looked at the wolf next to him.

"I'm happy you ate something Kiba. I'm sorry it took so long."

Tsume then nuzzled the white wolf's cheek and licked his muzzle. Kiba all the while just sat there and continued to stare at the alpha. Just then Toboe trotted up and placed the rest of the food in front of his two pack mates. Kiba looked up and smiled at the pup, Toboe shared a small smile with the white wolf. He then sat down and began to ask his alpha why Knight left. But before he could say anything Kiba beat him to it.

"So Toboe?"

"Yea Kiba?"

"Who is Tsume? How do I know him?"

Tsume's eyes grew wide as he looked at his mate. Did he just hear right? Kiba didn't know who his was? Why what caused this? He looked at Toboe who had a sad look on his face. The alpha growled and spoke to the pup.

"Toboe why is Kiba acting like this? Why doesn't he remember me?"

"I-I-I tr-tried to te-tell you. But you wouldn't listen. Tsume...Kiba...has lost his memories of you."

Tsume tried to speak but no words would come out. He looked at Kiba and saw the confused look on his face.

"K-Kiba?"

The white wolf looked at the gray wolf. Tsume saw no recollection of him in his mates golden eyes. He sighed sadly and turned to Toboe.

"Toboe...I...I need you to tell me what happened to Kiba."

The young pup signed and slowly nodded his head.

I know, I know cliff hanger but I decided to make one more lol. But I do promise the next one won't be. So please read and review. I will try to update faster but we shall see. So see you all next time.
