Hi everyone it was a very long wait for this chapter but I finished it. I hope you all are ready for more. Here is the very long awaited chapter 19 of WolfDog.
Kiba followed the light brown alpha back to his den. Blue looked up as the two males came back inside. The white wolf gave a apologetic smile to Blue. She nodded slowly with a bright smile on her face. Hige gave his mate a nuzzle and smiled down at his pups.
"Blue...I need to tell you something."
"What is it Hige?"
"Kiba told me Tsume has been missing. The last time Kiba saw him was after he lost his memory, and Tsume said he was going to figure out how to get his memory back."
Blue's eyes went wide. She looked right at the white wolf and saw the pain in her friends eyes. Her eyes went back to her mate and sighed slowly. Hige licked Blue's muzzle and whimpered softly. Kiba watched this display of affection and felt his chest hurt.
"Hige...I can't let you leave Blue on her own with the pups. It's not fair to you or her."
"Kiba I promised to help you find Tsume and I ment it."
"But-
Blue cleared her throat which made both males look at her. She smiled to the white wolf and licked her mates muzzle. Hige wanted to say something but one sharp look from Blue made him stop. The light brown wolf sighed and let his mate continue. Kiba couldn't help the small smile that formed on his face.
"Hige I will be fine with the pups. I have the nursing wolves with me for help. Tsume is my friend too and I want him back just as much. So go help Kiba bring him home."
"Blue I can't I need to be here with you."
"Hige you will go or I will FORCE you to go. You will be more help to Kiba then here I promise you that."
Kiba chuckled to himself as he watched his friend loose this fight. He walked closer to his friends and bowed to both of them. Both wolves stopped and looked at the white wolf.
"I want to thank both of you for your help. I promise to bring Hige home in one piece."
"Kiba...
"Blue I will be back as soon as I can."
Blue sighed and nodded once more. Hige smiled, licked, nuzzled, and nipped his mate's face. He turned his attention to the white wolf and smiled brightly. Kiba smiled back and turned to head out the den. Hige followed out and both wolves headed out to find the missing gray wolf.

Toboe was following Kiba after his sprint by him and Knight. He was at a loss as to why his friend did that. But before he could reach him, the brown pup saw that him and Hige were heading back the way they came. So without a word to either of the wolves he decided to head back too. Suddenly the pup yelped and jumped back.
He shook his head from from the dizzy spell he was having, and came face to face with Knight.
"Knight...ow...what are you doing?"
The black wolf shook his head and blinked a few times, before answering the pup.
"I was just following you and you turned around suddenly. I didn't realize til you ran into me."
"Well...ahhh...whatever. I need to speak to Kiba and see what is going on."
"I can help if you like."
Toboe starred at the black wolf. No matter how mad he was at him, Toboe could not stay mad at him. With a deep sigh and shake of his head, he allowed the wolf to follow him.
"Alright you can come along."
Knight smiled brightly and licked the pup's cheek happily. Which in turn made the pup blush. A small smile appeared on the runt's face. He then continued on his way back to the den. As the two young wolves approached the packs den, they saw the male wolves come back out.
"Kiba, Hige. What is going on do we know where Tsume is?"
"Not yet Toboe. We are going to try and follow his scent to see where he is."
"I want to help find him. I want him back just as much as Kiba does."
Hige and Kiba looked at each other then back to the young wolves. With a deep sigh Kiba nodded. Toboe and Knight smiled and barked happily.
"It couldn't hurt since we don't know where Tsume is. Plus we have no idea what happened to him. Nothing wrong with some back up right Kiba?"
The white wolf chuckled to himself but nodded none the less. Hige was right they had absolutely no idea where his mate was. But Kiba would make sure they found him and brought him home. So with new determination and hope in the wolves hearts, all four of them headed away from Hige's pack and into the woods to finally find the missing gray wolf.

Tsume raised his head and looked around. He inhaled all the scents of the afternoon. The gray wolf tried once more to stand, and with slow movements he accomplished it. With a smirk on his face he took a step forward. He whimpered at the dull pain and stiffness of his leg, but other then that he stayed on his feet.
"Good I should be able to make it back home in a few hours."
Tsume said to himself as he kept stretching his leg. He kept trying to get the muscles warmed up. As the wolf continued his stretching a scent came to his nose. He stopped and stood alert with his eyes focused on where the scent was coming from. Tsume noticed the human wasn't around so what could be coming this way.
A deep growl was rising out of the gray wolf, as a noise was heard from the side of the cabin. He took slow steps toward the sound. As he got closer his hair started to stand up on his neck. That was not the human's sent that he knew, it was something else. Tsume moved to the bushes that were next to the path that lead to the woods, waiting for who or what was coming toward him.
"I know that Indian lives around here somewhere. I know he has the wolf we had in the trap."
Tsume tensed as he heard voices coming closer. They were the hunters that laid the trap he got stuck in. He growled low as he waited for them to get closer. Once the gray wolf had one of them close he would attack and take at least one out. Tsume watched the hunters come into view, he was ready to pounce.
"I don't see the Indian or that wolf around anywhere. Maybe he's not here and the wolf went with him."
"Doesn't matter we know where he lives so we will come back later and pay him a visit."
Tsume growled in annoyance as he watched the hunters walk away. He went back to the cabin and thought of what to do next.
"Guess I'll be heading back home a little later then I thought."

Kiba, Hige, Toboe and Knight searched everywhere. Hige was following the gray wolf's scent. It was very weak but still around. The white wolf was following Hige as he tried to follow the scent. Toboe and Knight brought up the rear as the four wolves continued their search for Tsume.
"I wonder where he went. He wouldn't go to far would he?"
Knight asked as he and Toboe tried to see any trace, that the gray wolf was here before. Toboe shook his head, he knew Tsume would never go to far from the territory. But if he did were could he be. He wouldn't go near humans either he never liked them. Just then Toboe's eyes went wide and he trotted faster up to Hige and Kiba.
"Kiba! Hige!"
Both wolves stopped at the sound of their names. They looked back and saw the Toboe coming toward them. What could have set the runt off this time. Did him and Knight have another fight?
"What is it Toboe? What's wrong?"
Kiba asked as he turned and faced the pup. The brown wolf panted and took a deep breath.
"I think I know where Tsume went."
"You do? Where Toboe?"
Kiba said as he stood with his tail straight up. He waited for the pup to finish what he had to say.
"I think he went towards the human territories. I know he hates them but it's the only other place that could be a possibility."
Kiba and Hige's eyes went wide at the pup's statement. Why would the alpha be anywhere near humans. Tsume always stayed clear of them at all times. But if there was a chance that Kiba could find his mate he wouldn't hesitate to take it.
"It might be a long shot but we have to try."
Kiba said as he looked at Hige. With a deep sigh and quick look around, the alpha nodded his head.
"Alright let's go and see if Tsume is in the humans territories.

After the hunters left the gray wolf went back to the cabin. He had to get home, but he didn't want the human who saved him to deal with the hunters by himself. Wait...did that thought just go through his mind. He hated humans with a passion. Why in the wolrd would he want to help one of them.
"Hey boy I see your up and walking well."
Tsume was pulled from his thoughts at the sound of the human. His tail wagged which surprised the wolf. He hoped he wasn't becoming tame. The man smiled at him as he walked back into the cabin. The gray wolf followed the man inside to wait for the invasion he knew was coming.
As night fell the man was in the kitchen making some food. Tsume was pacing back and forth in the front room. He knew the hunters would be back, just not sure when. Suddenly a smell came to the wolf's nose. He stood still as the hair on his neck rose. A deep growl came from his throat. The man stopped what he was doing and looked at the wolf.
"What is it boy? Something outside u want?"
Tsume kept his eyes locked on the front door. He crouched down ready to pounce if they decided to come through the door. Just then a load bang came from the door, followed by a load voice.
"We know your in there and so is that wolf. Bring the animal out and we will leave you alone. If you don't you will not live to see another day."
The man looked from the door to the wolf, and back again. He smiled at Tsume and motioned for him to go out the back. The gray wolf growled deeper as if to say no way. The bangs and voices got impatient.
"Bring the animal out now or we will come in one way or another!"
"You need to go boy they won't let you live if you don't."
Tsume growled in frustration as the man approached the door. He slowly opened it and went to face the hunters. The gray wolf was about to follow but the door shut before he could. With a bark of anger he went to the back to get out and help. Tsume's heart stopped in his chest when he saw what was happening outside the back door.
There was a hunter holding a torch and he just threw it on top of the house.
"You have to be kidding me...

Kiba, Hige, Knight, and Toboe arrived into the human territory. All of their fur was standing up, all except Toboe. He wagged his tail and held his head high. The pup was excited since he was raised by a human. Knight saw the change in the brown wolf and couldn't help but smile.
"Guess ur right at home being in this area, right Toboe."
"Of course I am I was raised by a human."
"Either way we need to be cautious these humans can't be trusted."
Kiba said as he came up to Toboe and Knight. He looked out at the territory to see if he figure out where Tsume went. Hige came up behind his friends as he took a deep inhale. The alpha's eyes went wide as he sniffed several times. He knew that scent it was Tsume.
The light brown wolf pushed through the other wolves and stared to follow the scent. Kiba and the young wolves were confused as they watched Hige take off. What could have made the alpha take off like that. Knight sniffed the air and tried to see what had Hige in a hurry. The black wolf's eyes went wide, he turned to the other two.
"Toboe we need to follow Hige quick."
Knight took off in the same direction as his alpha. Toboe called after Knight wondering what in the world was going on.
"KNIGHT WHAT IS GOING ON!"
The black wolf slide to a stop and panted as he looked back at Kiba and Toboe. His tail wagged a mile a minute with the excitement in his body.
"IT'S TSUME HE'S NOT FAR NOW WE NEED TO HURRY!"
Kiba's eyes went wide as his tail raised up. He couldn't believe how close he was to finding his mate. Without another thought or word he ran passed Toboe, and flew passed Knight to catch up with Hige. Toboe was shocked and happy at the same time. Finally they found Tsume he was so happy for Kiba now his pack can be back together.
"TOBOE COME ON WE NEED TO CATCH UP OR WE WILL LOOSE THEM!"
Knight yelled as he waited for the pup. Toboe snapped out of his thoughts and ran down to join Knight. The pup nuzzled the black wolf, smirked, and took off after Kiba and Hige. Knight was confused at first, but soon he smiled brightly, wagged his tail, puffed his chest with pride, then followed Toboe.

Tsume saw the flame from the torch start spreading. He growled in frustration as he had to think of a way to get out. The gray wolf looked around and went to the front door. He heard the humans arguing. Tsume needed to leave he knew that, but he didn't want to leave the human alone.
"Alright get that beast out here. We've waited long enough."
The hunters advance on the house and tried to get inside. The human pushed them back and made his stand. He went to grab his weapon but was struck on the side of the head. As he fell he saw the wolf watching from the window. Tsume stepped back from the window and crouched down.
"Fine you morons want me then let's see what u got."
The gray wolf pushed off the floor and launched himself through the window. The glass shattered and Tsume landed on one of the hunters, his teeth sinking into the man's throat. Blood dripping from his fangs he looked at the rest of the hunters, ready for his next move. The noise of the scream from the hunter made the rest of the humans come to face the wolf. Said wolf crouched down ready to pounce on whoever wanted to go next.
"Well looks like we get to skin your hide after all."
Tsume growled and stood his ground as the hunters moved in on him. As the fire from the house rose and spread, a piece from the building landed on the ground. Which soon spread to the woods. One of the hunters noticed this and made his voice known.
"We need to get out of here the fire is spreading quick."
"No we are killing this wolf now."
The gray wolf snarled as he got ready to pounce. Suddenly a brown and white blur rushed the hunters from the back. Without hesitation both sank their teeth into the hunters throats. Tsume stood shocked as he saw Hige and Kiba standing on two of the hunters. He was so happy to see them he couldn't help releasing a load bark.
"HIGE KIBA!"
The gray wolf called as he knocked over another hunter who was about to attack them. Kiba jumped over the body he killed earlier, and ran to his mate. As the white wolf headed over to Tsume, the leader of the hunters grabbed his gun and went to shoot. Hige saw this and tried to stop the human but he was blocked by a another one. The gun was pointed at Kiba, Tsume was telling him to stop but he wouldn't lsiten.
"KIBA STOP HE IS GOING TO SHOOT!"
The white wolf kept going, he wanted his mate more then the hunter with the gun. As time slowed the hunter went to pull the trigger. Hige's eyes went wide as he tried to reach his friends, but he had to get rid of the rest of these humans. A black shadow flew past Hige, through two of the hunters, and landed on top of the one with the gun. Knight raised his head and went to sink his teeth into the humans neck, but a sharp pain made him stop.
"KNIGHT!"
Toboe yelled as he saw the black wolf fall to his side. He tried to get to him, but Hige stopped him. A tree branch fell from a tree and landed on the hunter with the gun. It burst into flames, and Knight's body disappeared from sight. Kiba and Tsume ran toward Toboe and Hige.
"Hige...please let me get to him he needs help."
"Toboe we need to get out of here. The fire is spreading."
"I DON'T CARE I NEED TO GET KNIGHT OUT NOW!"
The pup pushed the brown alpha out of the way, and went to where he saw the black wolf. Kiba was about to grab the pup, but Tsume stopped him. He looked at his mate confused. Tsume nuzzled Kiba and licked his muzzle, then turned to follow the pup.
"Tsume no I just found you..."
"I will be right behind you I promise. I will get the runt and get back to you as soon as I can."
The gray wolf went to retrieve the pup. Kiba and Hige turned to leave before the fire reached them. Tsume found the pup nuzzling the black wolf. He approached slowly and spoke softly.
"Toboe...we need to go the fire is spreading fast. Kiba and Hige are waiting for us."
"I can't leave him Tsume...I-I love him he was just trying to help. Now he's gone."
Tsume whimpered softly as he saw the pup fall apart. He needed to get him out and fast. The gray wolf pushed the pup away from the black wolf and made him get going. Toboe growled as he was pushed away from Knight. The gray wolf snarled at him, which in turn made Toboe tuck tail and ran out of the woods. Tsume looked back to the black wolf's body.
"I'm sorry Knight I really am. I wanted you a part of the pack. Toboe will miss you greatly, but I promise to take care of him."
Tsume then turned and ran out of the woods as the fire closed the escape route. As night fell the fire was put out with rain. The area was silent, there was no movement or noise, just bodies laying everywhere. The crows and ravens arrived to enjoy the meal they came upon. Two of the birds approached the black wolf's body.
As they were about to start their meal teeth came into their line or sight. Both birds screeched and took to the air, but only one made it. The black wolf snapped the birds neck and ate it. Once he was done he slowly rose to his feet and shook the dirt and water from his fur. He looked up to the sky and saw the moon, he released a howl so deep that the animals stopped their movements.
"Toboe...I'm coming home I promise you."
Knight limped out of the woods, took a deep breath and followed Toboe's scent.
