Joseph is helping Andy and Nico search the bottom of the English Channel for any sign of Quynh when disaster strikes. Nico is nearly ended by what they presume to be a shark. They recover so little of him that Joseph is certain he has lost his love forever. Andy drops the search for Quynh (for now) and gets them to safety. She's pretty sure Nico will be fine, but tensions run high

Nile has a new team, but she's still feeling very alone. Can this scruffy group of immortals ever replace the family and friends she's lost? Nile isn't sure, but maybe, just maybe, around a table, or a shared story, or an inside joke, she'll realize she trusts them with more than just watching her back.
