Like many kids his age and under his age, 8-year old Tommy Doyle believes a monster called the Boogyman is after him. While his 17-year old babysitter, Laurie Strode, is sitting for him on Halloween night-1978, Tommy discovers that this monster is real and not all in his head. What Tommy confronts may end up being far more terrifying than his worst nightmare.

Michael Myers wasn't the only child who had darkness inside him. A young girl was sent to Smith's Grove for similar reasons. Dr. Loomis and Dr. Stevens introduced the two children...and a friendship bloomed. It seemed normal at first, but it grew into something bigger over the years. Was it for the good that these two minds were brought together? Or was a fresh hell created?
