A/n: Wassup everyone! I know I'm 2-3 weeks late. I was having some terrible writer's block. Anyways let's get on with the chapter.
"Can you take me to the 4 o'clock library tomorrow?" Hanako asks Mr Tsuchigmory. "Yes of course." Mr Tsuchigomory looked at everyone. "Hanako kun, why do you want to go to the 4 o'clock library?" Hanako looked up at Yashiro. "I want to look in Chibi Chan's book… y'know… to see her future… it might be our last hope… I want to know if and how she gets saved…" Hanako sniffles and everyone looks at him sympathetically. Kou gets a smug look on his face and looks at Hanako."You have a crush on her don't you~" Hanako blushes and smiles while Mitsuba and Yashiro pout. (Mitsuba has a crush on Chie and Yashiro has a crush on Hanako, I'm a Hananene shipper so um yahhhhh) Kou's eyebrows start wiggling while he makes a lenny face at Hanako. Everyone starts laughing, even Chie gives a small smile and her aura gets slightly lighter. Everyone's eyes light up. Hanako hugs Chie and her aura gets just a little lighter but not light enough for Hanako.
"Are you ready to go number 7?" Mr Tsuchigomory looks down at his former student. Hanako looks up at him and nods. The two walk in and Hanako checks every black book, even the red ones. "C'mon where is it…?" Mr Tsuchigomory looks at Hanako. "It'll be fine you'll find her book." Hanako had just realised why Chie had reacted the way she did when he almost threw up. He looked like he was about to cry and this worried his former teacher. "Are you ok, number 7?" A tear rolled down his cheek as his breath quivered, Mr Tsuchigomory hugged Hanako. "Can you tell me what happened?" He asked. "I just realised why Chibi chan reacted the way she did…" Mr Tsuchigomory motioned him to continue. "The painting was of something seductive I did back when I first met her…she blushed so hard when I did it...it became a joke between us..." Mr Tsuchigomory moves his hand to the back of Hanako's head and pat it.
He and Hanako got back to looking after a few minutes of hugs and head pats. "I FOUND IT!" Hanako exclaims, pulling out a black book with the name Chie Akamine engraved on the book's spine. He flips to the future and it says that she does get saved and it says that him confessing his love to her is what ultimately saves her in the end. He blushes a bright red and Mr Tsuchigomory laughs. "Does it say when I have to confess though?" Hanako looks for a date on the page. It says that he will be confessing tomorrow, he bites his lip. "What am I gonna say…?" Hanako goes through various confessions he wrote for Yashiro before he met Chie.
This the one he chose: Ever since I met you on that fateful day I have been happier than I have been in a long time. I know this sounds cheesy but it's true. Chie, I love you, will you be my girlfriend?
Hanako ran it by Mr Tsuchigomory to see if he liked it. "Sooo, what do you think…?" He asked. "I think she'll say yes." Hanako's eyes light up. "You really love her, don't you?" Hanako smiles and nods his head. Mr Tsuchigomory comes up to him and puts his hand on Hanako's shoulder. "I think she loves you too, the way she looks at you, her body language around you, the way she acts around you, and I've heard the things she says about you! She's crazy about you!" Hanako looks up at him and Mr Tsuchigomory smiles at him. "R-really…?" Hanako asks. Mr Tsuchigomory nods and gives a small smile.
The next day Hanako is in his boundary, he takes a deep breath as he run the confession through his head a couple of times. After a few minutes of calming himself, he heads into the art room and all his friends are already there. He walks in to Kou, Mitsuba, and Yashiro rolling on the floor laughing. Chie is just floating with a small smile on her face and her aura is slightly lighter than it was before. "H-Hanako hun, Kou kun said the funniest thing!" Yashiro exclaimed through her laughter and tears. "C'mon lame traffic earring say it again!" Mitsuba exclaimed. "Ok, SHEEEEEEEEEESH!"(Sorry I had to) Kou exclaimed. Everyone started laughing again.
Hanako went over to Chie and hugged her. "H-Hanako kun…?" Chie questioned. He pulled away so they could look at each other. "Ever since I met you on that fateful day I have been happier than I have been in a long time. I know it sounds cheesy but it's true. Chie, I love you, will you be my girlfriend?" Chie looked at him in awe as her aura changed back to yellow and green. "Y-yes o-of course I'll be your girlfriend! I love you too!" Chie jumped into Hanako's arms and he kissed her passionately. Everyone else was either watching awkwardly or clapping and cheering like a maniac(Kou was cheering and clapping, Yashiro, Mitsuba, and Mr Tsuchigomory were awkwardly staring).
