A/n: Yay I'm not dead! I've been very busy lately and haven't been able to work on my story but here I am! Also I had writer's block and couldn't really think of anything. I still kinda do so this chapter might be kinda bad. Anyways let's get on with the chapter.
Chie looks behind them and sees a familiar face she never thought she would see again. "M-mermaid…" She whispers, Hanako doesn't hear and asks her to repeat what said, so she tells him to look behind them. Hanako's eyes widen as he and Chie look at the Mermaid queen.
"Well well well… If it isn't number 7 of the 7 wonders…. Hanako…." The Mermaid Queen sneers. She points at Chie and she gets even more scared. "Now you… I don't recognise you…?" Hanako lets Chie go and whispers in her ear. "Stay right where you are, I'll handle this…" All she can do is nod her head before he goes over to the Mermaid queen and tries to slice his knife through her, but before he can she slaps him out of the way with her fin and starts going towards Chie. She starts to back up slowly and Hanako notices so he runs up behind her and slices his knife through her. This inevitably destroys her (or so they thought) and Chie and Hanako run and hug each other. "Are you ok?! Did she hurt you?!" Chie exclaims while examining her boyfriend. Hanako smiles and wipes a tear off of her cheek. "I'm ok… Are you ok though?" She nods her head and buries her face into his chest.
Hanako picks her up bridal style and kisses her on ze lips(that was not a typo by the way). "Do you think you'll be ok by yourself for the rest of the night? Or should I stay with you?" He looks at her awaiting her answer. "I-I think I'll be ok…" Hanako feels unsure but brushes it off and they both go back to their boundaries for the night(Cause they were in the broadcast room remember).
At about midnight the Mermaid queen respawned in the lake near Kamome academy(It's like she's a video game character). When the fish servants notice their queen they bow to her. "Your majesty, welcome back!"The Mermaid Queen glared at them and they stop. "Have you finished creating the mermaid scale?" (I'm just gonna say the mermaid scales affect ghosts differently than they affect humans, instead of turning them into fish they are basically sleeping pills except permanent (We'll get into how that's solved later) also Imma start calling Chie Chi-Chi) The fish servants get the scale and bring it to her. She looks at it and smiles deviously. "Perfect…"
Chi-Chi is in her boundary chilling since she can't sleep from adrenalin rush. She hears movement behind her. "Wh-who's there?!" The Mermaid Queen puts her hand over Chie's (I will still call her by her actual name) mouth. She had the scale in her hand as she did this so the scale was shoved into Chi-Chi's mouth. She swallowed the scale and immediately got really tired, she didn't fall asleep until about 2 minutes later.
Hanako also couldn't sleep so he was chilling. He thought he heard a noise so he went to check on Chie. When he got to the art room he saw a mysteriously large figure going out the art room's window with her in its arms. He flew to where they were as fast as he could but he didn't make it in time.
