Miguel Rivera grew up knowing who his great great grandparents were-kind, caring, and loving. One day, while looking through the family album for a school assignment, Miguel discovered an old marriage certificate. He was related to Ernesto De La Cruz...in name only. What happens when he asks Abuelita about it? Are there some secrets that Miguel didn't know about?

Ernesto and Héctor leave for their tour around Mexico. Ernesto knows that this'll be their only shot at fame, and to him that's all that matters. Héctor is just happy to play his music and be with Ernesto. But a little into the tour, Héctor starts to feel homesick. Ernesto knows that he can't let Héctor leave, not when Héctor has all the talent needed to make this plan a success.

Miguel learns of a relative that he had never heard before, Tia Hilda. Is she a misunderstood soul like Papa Hector, or is she mean like Abuelita warned him? What happens when Tia Hilda, through a dream, asks Miguel to put her photo up on the ofrenda? Rated T for intense and frightening scenes

Coco is excited about her upcoming Quinceanera. But she has a secret, one that she dare not mention to her mother. Her passion for music. She hides her passion in the attic and sneaks off to the plaza with her boyfriend, Julio. She also wonders why her father left them when she was three. Takes place in 1933.

A quick story about what it means to be a family. And how just because you are related, that doesn't make you family. Nor are you entitled to things because you're family. And yes, you still have to face punishment, even against family!

Hector met Imelda as she crossed over to the Land of the Dead, but Imelda wasn't happy to see him. Hector has to make it up somehow, but that's difficult when he's just trying to stay alive. (Pre and Post movie)

The last thing Imelda wants to do is think of Héctor. Why think of someone who causes so much pain and hurt? But you can't control your dreams. So that's where Héctor's memory shows up in Imelda's mind the most.

Although none could've foreseen where he would end up. But why? A gift for risking his life a few years ago? or to fulfill a grander purpose? Time to find out.

While he starts his search for his sister, an old enemy follows his very own plans of revenge.

I wrote this as a therapeutic way to deal with the events in the story. Miguel is a stand-in for me, and I hope you like the story.

When the gunman aims at his daughter, Miguel gives his life for her. Sent to the afterlife as a dead soul, Miguel learns that there is a way back to the world of the living but is it worth the cost?Flashbacks

A sudden flash of conscience from Ernesto changes Hector's life forever: By letting him have one.

Coco has a question about Ernesto that no one in her family will answer. Imelda, Oscar, and Felipe all turn her down. So she goes to someone else for help instead and gets more of an answer than she knows what to do with, sending her mind reeling and opening a wider space in her heart than she already has for her second best friend.

(MAJOR SPOILERS FOR THE MOVIE COCO) A written story of what Hector may have been thinking during his last moments of life.

What if Héctor never took the poisoned drink from Ernesto? What would the glory-seeking Ernesto do then?

There's an excellent reason why they say poor communication kills. And an even more significant reason when it comes to the difference between hearing and truly listening to someone. So the Riveras go to family therapy to learn how to do both properly.

Hector realizes that Ernesto really wants his songs and gives him what he wants. He just wants to go home to see Imelda and Coco. Just a small "what if Hector goes home" fic and fluff. One shot and complete! Please review.

Sequel to "Turning Tables"—Even though everything looked okay, "happily ever after" was not there yet. Taking place a couple of months after the end of "Turning Tables", Miguel's relationship with his family is tested yet again as the Riveras assist another family victimized by de la Cruz and deal with more, unexpected surprises in the Land of the Living and the Land of the Dead.
