Younger Now and Suicide Squad

The next morning, Miley was the first to leave the house. Her new manager picked her up and they were heading to the location to shoot her new music video. Hans didn't know too many details about the new album yet. The title would be Younger Now, and the songs were a reflection about the way that Miley felt over the last years, and how her life had changed during this time. The style could be described as a mix of Country, Pop, but also some sparks from her wilder days and it represented the new Miley, a young woman who finally accepted who she was, and who wasn't scared to look back at her former self. The only thing Hans cared about was how excited his girlfriend was when she talked about this project and how happy she was to create these new songs.

Less than an hour later, it was his turn to leave and drove to the offices of his company, where he would, together with Will (who would play the main character) and director Michael Bay, go over the remaining candidates for the other characters.

Will arrived, like Hans expected, early, so he had already ordered some coffee and doughnuts. After they had their usual hug, Will immediately asked how the last 2 weeks had been:

"So tell me, how was Luxembourg?"

"Almost too perfect…Miley really liked it, especially how quiet it was. Well, the last couple of days with the wedding, Manchester, and the flight to LA have been a bit stressful, but I'm not complaining."

"I mean, you could just retire and travel as a professional groupie with Miley"

„That would be a possibility, but I'm a bit afraid I might lose my mind if I had nothing to do. Besides, I can't imagine that a stay at home husband is the kind of partner that Miley would respect or need" Hans laughed.

"I can already imagine you cleaning, cooking, washing, working in the garden…damn, I would pay some good money to see that. But on a serious note, it really sounds like you have fully committed to this relationship"

"Well, it looks like you were right after all…the only thing it took was meeting the right woman. And of course it had to happen one day after we had that conversation"

"What can I say? I'm just amazing. But how did she react to this new blog entry? That one was pretty nasty"

"Not so good at first, she's still scared that these kind of things might influence me and push me away from her. But I'm pretty sure I was able to convince Miley that wouldn't be the case. But I think it might be about time to have a face to face conversation with Mr Hilton"

"Sounds like fun" Will replied.

After this, they changed to more random topics for a few minutes, drank coffee, ate donuts and had a good laugh when Michael Bay arrived and got this hopeful glimpse in his eyes as he saw the box from Krispy Kreme, only to find out it had been completely emptied. Of course, Hans was nice enough to order a second one, he and Will found out a long time ago that a box of delicious doughnuts definitely made this kind of meetings a lot easier, but it was still a pretty heavy one. They got along pretty well, but they were discussing almost 4 hours about the potential candidates before they came to the following agreement:

After Hans went over the list one more time, he had to admit that he was pretty happy with their choices, only Shia Labeouf was causing him a bit of a headache, because in his eyes, the young actor was a ticking time bomb after the huge success he had with the Transformer movies, but Michael Bay insisted on this one as he really loved working with him.

Hans was also pretty sure that this was going to be one of these movies that the critics would hate, because it was just a simple, entertaining action movie without too much depth. But the fans would definitely love it.

They were done around 6pm and Will, who arrived by cab earlier today, decided that Hans could give him a lift back home, and about 40 minutes later, he was back at his house. Miley was still nowhere to be seen, but she had sent him a text message that she would be back at about 8pm. So Hans used the time he had left to take a long shower and relax a bit by the pool. Soon afterwards, Miley arrived and immediately joined him on the sun lounger and Hans asked:

"Long day?"

"Long, exhausting, but very productive. We should finish the first video tomorrow, the only thing left to do will be to make the final cut…which isn't my job, thankfully. How was your day?"

"Well, we agreed on the cast, now we'll have to see to set up the contracts as fast as possible. So when will I get to hear the first songs?"

"Hm…next week? I talked to Ellen today, and she asked if we could visit her show next Monday. I could free up some time, but I wanted to check with you first"

"Oh, I can arrange that. Like I already said, that's the least we can do to have our first official appearance on her show"

"That's true. So I'll confirm for Monday"

Hans had to smile as he remembered his first appearance on The Ellen Show about 3 years ago. They spent the first 5 minutes laughing like crazy, and until today, nobody could really say why, people only suspected that something happened before the show backstage. Ellen had developed some kind of a habit where she tried to scare her guests, before or during the show. Hans, who knew about this, expected of course some sort of prank, was very careful and checked his whole changing room. He was actually even a bit disappointed that Ellen seemingly hadn't planned anything for him. But when he went into the bathroom, it finally happened. Ellen had hidden behind the door, and was patient enough to wait for about 20 minutes to get her chance. As soon as Hans came in, she screamed and jumped out of her hiding place. Hans almost got a heart attack, let out a weirdly, feminine sounding screech and fell backwards against the wall. What Ellen couldn't know was that Hans got a Subway Sandwich delivered to his changing room, topped with salami, ham, mayonnaise, mustard, pickles, lettuce and onions. And his first reaction was to throw his sandwich as hard as he could towards this potential thread for his life, and what can you say, once a shooter, always a shooter, and he smacked it right into Ellen's face. When he realized who was hiding behind the door, it was already too late, and the host was sitting, in tears of laughter and with vegetables and mayo in her face, on the ground. Hans just couldn't contain himself and threw himself next to her on the ground. Later, when he joined Ellen and sat down on the couch, he saw something in her hair, wiped through it and just said:

"You had a bit of mustard in your hair"

This one sentence was enough to get them going again for a good 5 minutes, and until this day, the secret hadn't been revealed, because unfortunately, there was some kind of technical problem with the cameras backstage and they weren't able to use the material. Unfortunately…

The next days were all kind of the same. Both of them had to work during the day and were able to spend a few hours together in the evening. On Friday night, they went to dinner with Jada and Will, Miley had to work on Saturday morning, while Hans was off. Sunday, they finally had a whole day to spend together, and on Monday, they were expected to be guests on The Ellen Show.

The dinner on Friday night took place in an Italian restaurant on Rodeo Drive. This time, Jayden and Willow, Jada's and Will's kids, joined them. Hans liked both of them, even if Jayden had some very strange opinions on some subjects, according to his twitter account. It turned out to be a very nice evening, and Miley could see once more why Hans and Will were seen as Hollywood's best buddies. She realized that during all these years she lived in LA now, she never managed to build up such a strong relationship to anybody than these two were having. On the other side, thanks to her relationship with Hans and his contacts, she had made the transition from an aspiring young artist into Hollywood's high society.

The next day, she left for another couple of hours to complete the video of her new song. What Hans didn't know was, that this song actually would be the surprise she was talking about. This song was about their first date, her feelings for Hans and how their encounter changed her whole life. Also, it was the first time that she wrote the lyrics all by herself. They used the same beach as a location, and she even managed to get Daisy for a couple of days so she could also be part of the video. She was already excited to see how Hans would react to it, and she hoped that everything would be ready for Monday, so she could perform it at Ellen's show.

They finished filming the last scene in the late morning, the rest would be up to the technicians and producers. The plan was that Miley would get to see the final version on Monday morning, but for today, she had enough. She drove Daisy back to her owner and went on to her boyfriend, to finally spend more than just a couple of hours with him.

They spent the evening at Miley's old home with Billy Ray and her sister Noah, who arrived from Nashville that morning. She wanted to try to really establish herself in the music business as well, which didn't seem to be too unlikely if you took the success of her first projects into account. She didn't have the voice nor the talent of her older sister, but due to the fact that the Cyrus family had an enormous fan base, Noah's songs were quite successful. Besides that, she wanted to get to know Hans better, since she had only seen him once. All in all, it was a very nice evening, it just got a bit more serious when Billy Ray mentioned the last article that Perez Hilton published. Hans was pretty sure that the blogger would have a very uncomfortable time if he should happen to cross paths with Miley's father. They left around 1am, and Hans couldn't prevent himself from smiling when Miley mentioned that it was about time to go home. And when they got back to their mansion, they were finally able to have some quality time together.

They spent the following Sunday at home, and Hans felt it was time to go through a complete workout, because he got a bit lazy over the last weeks. Since his house had a fully equipped gym, it wasn't too hard to do. Miley joined him to do some yoga, and after she had finished after about an hour, she sat down on a bench and observed Hans. She remembered that Liam and especially his brother Chris were working out a lot, because people expected young actors to look good, with big arms, broad shoulders and a sixpack, and the main criteria for their workouts was simply to build up muscles, often in combination with a diet. These workouts were very effective when it came to looks, but Miley noticed that you couldn't compare them to the intense workouts of pro athletes. Chris Hemsworth definitely looked stronger and bigger than Hans, but when it came to athleticism and explosiveness, they were on completely different levels. Hans did some exercises or lifted weights which the Hemsworth brothers wouldn't even try to. Miley didn't even want to imagine how strong an average NFL player, or NBA players like Lebron James or DeMarcus Cousins were. Hans' game was based more on speed and suppleness, which meant that he was pretty strong, but definitely not as big as a lot of players. Only a little bit later, she realized that this was the first time that she was thinking about Liam without any bitter feelings.

They spent the rest of the day like any other young couple, and Hans was even able to convince his girlfriend to try out a video game, which might have been a small mistake. Even if Miley didn't want to admit, but only 5 minutes into the game, she was kind of fascinated by it and didn't want to stop playing until it was time for dinner.
