Long days and long nights take their toll on Bradford as the search for Commander Reeves continues.

Speaker Amon visits a dear old friend of his for a chat. A fellow Viper, changed like him. But things don't go as planned.

A quick excursion to an abandoned ADVENT Outpost in the Appalachian Mountains turned Black Market gives Bradford and his team more than they bargained for. It also leads to a discovery he wasn't expecting to find so soon.

Zhang's topside and enjoying the rainy day as he takes a break from working in the workshop, but said break gets somewhat disturbed by one of the aliens that recently joined the remnants of the Asian XCOM branch. A Thin Man ambassador named Faruk Vosk.

Not all Vipers have stayed loyal to the Elders. Especially some of the changed ones. The Thin Men. The Elders tested her loyalty and eventually broke it. She questions how They swayed her and her kind for so long. But there are good memories within all that deception... and a few tragedies.

Geist and his acolytes(and additional helpers) take a trip back to the desolated XCOM base to scavenge some equipment to bolster his fledgling Templars. But Geist is also searching for answers for the past, present, and future.

What would it take for the Chosen, the very children of Gods Themselves, to abandon everything they know and defect to the resistance? Well, death is a good start. What follows is only told in stories.

After 20 years of alien occupation, the Resistance finally has its trump card: The Commander. But for their plans to work, they need the troops on the field to play their part. Half AAR, half narrative, this will be a retelling and partial re-imagining of XCOM 2's plot, loosely based on a completed playthrough, and through the eyes of a varied cast of soldiers.
