After the Reapers Game Life seem to be better for Neku than before. But when Joshua shows up and the reapers are being taken over by a group who use a color swap of the player pins it seems like the game is calling him back. How will he juggle his new school life and still take out this new threat?

Every choice and action made has an alternate reality in which the opposite choice was made, or a different action taken. In one universe, Neku won a bet. This is the flipside.

If Neku had to assess how well his return to the RG was going, he'd say he was doing quite fine. After all he was alive, had new friends, the will to change for the better, and an underling position in Rhyme's detectives club. Ah, and also a (former) player pin and Mr. H's application to take pics of the past. ... One way or another: it was Joshua's fault.

Neku est encore une fois de retour chez les vivants (espérons-le pour de bon) mais il ne peut s'empêcher de penser à ce qui est arrivé. Joshua avait dit qu'il aurait donné un coup de main si les choses s'étaient trop mal passées. Mais... Rindo avait juré qu'ils s'étaient tous fait effacer, et ça semblait assez "mal" pour Neku. Neku's back to life again (hopefully for good this time), and he can't help but think. Joshua said he would have helped if things went too badly, but...
