In the morning as the sun was rising it changed from a warm orange to a cool blue. Birds were chirping as usual and the weather was a little warmer. Kenny woke from his bed much to his dismay. He felt he had no sleep since last night. He dreamed of putting on the strange mask he found by the river. He changed into a different person, looking presentable yet opposite of his former self, he met a trio of robbers stealing money from the bank, scarring them from his new powers, and then stole the money while the police were chasing him down. What happened next he couldn't quite remember as the memory of it was fuzzy and unclear. His parka hood was back on, that mask sitting by the foot of his bed.
It was a dream...Kenny thought to himself as he got up from his bed to get ready for school, not until he saw a dollar bill under his shoe. Where did it come from? There was a trail of money coming from underneath the bed and the source of it were at least two or three bags of money stuffed with cash.
"Where did all this come from?!" Kenny exclaimed though from his hood it was muffled. He then realized it wasn't a dream but rather real. He had actually stolen money. From the Bank! How exactly would he explain this to his parents or better yet the police? How was he going to bring it all back? There was no time he had to go school, have to come up with a plan for what to do with the stolen cash. But how will he do it?
After school before Kenny and the three of his old friends Stan Marsh, Kyle Broflovski, and Eric Cartman walked back home, though Cartman seemed rather spooked about what happened to him last night. He was attacked by a green faced kid wearing a black and white striped suit. Made fun of his weight and more. Cartman was so shaken up by the incident, he didn't dare make fun of Kyle for him being Jewish, Ginger, or a Jersey or anyone else at school. He kept himself quite as possible as everyone knows from the news. Kenny brought the three boys in his house, into his bedroom while keeping the door locked, and removed the sheet where the bags were hidden inside.
"So,wait...You're the green faced kid from the news? But how? How were you able to do that crazy stuff like that?" Stan asked as he too saw the news where they showed footage of the green faced kind doing all sorts of things you see from the Looney Tunes.
"I don't have anything to do with this," Kenny said while holding The Mask for three to see.
Both Stan and Cartman looked at each other then at The old wooden green colored mask. Kyle came close with further inspection. Where had he seen this before?
"Wait...I think I know what this is. Kenny, where did you find it?" Kyle asked.
"At the woods by the river."
"I've seen this before you guys, I saw an article from a website saying that this Mask once belonged to the Norse god. But this was lost centuries ago so how could this end up here? It doesn't make sense."
"Well, what does it do, exactly?" Stan asked.
"I'm not sure, it didn't say anything of what it does. But I believe it has real power. Why else was Kenny able to do all this from last night?"
Kenny, Stan, and Cartman looked at one another, wondering if what Kyle said was true, if anyone put on the Mask may give them superhuman powers to do anything you desire. But Kyle knew what they were thinking and whatever it was wasn't going to happen either way.
"Why don't we focus on helping Kenny get the money back to the bank first?"
"What no way! Kenny and his family are no longer poor now. If I were you Kenny, I would keep the money." Cartman said as Kenny, Kyle, and Stan gave him an incredulous look saying 'that's a terrible idea'.
"Fine."
Saturday night by South Park's bank now with extra security around the area to keep a lookout by any robbers or green faced kids with cartoon-like powers. The four boys peeked from the bushes making sure it was the right timing to move forward with their plan.
"Okay guys, all we have to do is say we found the money lying and were returning it back." Kyle started. As the three boys give him a confused look.
"We can just walk in there and say we found it...they're not that smart." he added.
As they gathered the bags full of cash, Cartman remained still with back turned.
"Cartman?" Stan asked. "What are you doing?"
Cartman didn't answer, only muttering to himself "This is going to be sweet!"
It was then he turned around holding the Mask for all three to see.
"Dude, No!" Stan cried as he ran towards Cartman trying to pry it out of his hands. Soon it becomes a tug of war, as Kyle steps in joining Stan by his side.
"Fatass, let go!"
"No! I want to try it!"
"You don't know what you're doing!"
This goes for a moment, Kenny wondered if The Mask would break if it could break at all. By soon Cartman lets go making both Stan and Kyle fallback on the grass. The Mask Slipping from Kyle losing his grip as it flies in the air, landing Kenny's face.
Not again! Kenny thought while desperately trying to pull the Mask off of his face, but no avail. The Mask was stuck as it was glued on tight like a fly stuck on flypaper it couldn't escape. Stan, Kyle, and Cartman watched, a little frightened by the sight of it. Until Kenny turned into a mini green tornado while his cries were muffled out by the sound of wind rushing. He spun and spun like top until he stopped with a screeching halt.
"Heeeeere's Kenny!" Kenny announced, smiling big while his large teeth gleamed, no longer wearing his usual orange and brown parka. But the vertical black and white suit, red bow tie, and fedora.
"Dude?" Stan breathed unnerved by the smile his friend was giving him. Motor mentioned the red eyes.
Kenny's smile wavered by the shocked expression on the boy's face.
"I know, I know that's been done. But can you really blame me? I mean it's not as easy to come up with a very good and original catchphrase." he said, his voice sounding a little unhuman as he filed down his nails.
"Kenny how do you feel?" Kyle asked.
Kenny's smile returned from his new face and said…
"I thought you never asked." As said he zips faster like The Flash as the money bags vanish and then back came empty handed.
"Energized. Say on my way I didn't get this lovely flower on my way to the bank."
Stan leans to get a better look but before Kyle or Cartman could stop him, a huge stream of water aims at Stan knocking on him by a tree nearby. Shaking the tree by the force. Kenny laughed that sounded eerie and malicious.
"Oh, getting squirted in the face by a flower! Classic!" Wiping a tear off.
