This story takes place before, during, and after the events of the first Streets of Rage and gives a reason as to why Shiva isn't seen in the first game. While pursuing a thief before Hell Week, Shiva leaves the streets to his men with the gangs laced within each area. Unfortunately, he is unaware of the events that would occur while he is away.

This story goes back all the way to the beginning to when it all started during the 80s in Wood Oak City. Mr X and the Syndicate are rising to power but only a handful of heroes can stop them!

Even though she's turned over a new leaf and is now Axel's girlfriend, Electra finds that some people aren't very fond of her due to her past as a member of the Syndicate, so she decides to do something to try and change how people think of her, and when she stumbles across an unsolved case while helping out at the police station, she believes she's found the perfect opportunity.

After seeing all the people in Wood Oak City who have someone to love, Axel decides that he wants to try and find a romantic partner for himself, so Blaze helps him out by setting him up an account on a dating app, and he soon finds a girl who he thinks might be the right one for him, but little does he know how much of a surprise he's in for when he learns of her identity.

Volume 7 - One year has passed, but the Y-Twins have returned to finish what they had started. With widespread corruption and revenge on their minds, the city's only hope lies with the group of vigilantes. (This volume follows 1-6 where the previous story up until this point can be found below).

Volume 6 - It has been almost a decade since the death of Mr X and a new syndicate has gained control of Wood Oak City. Life has taken it's toll on the team of fighters and fate has bought them to different places.
