Dino Charge with a Twist

I have always loved the Power Rangers and I have truly loved the Dino Charge and Super Charge series. So in my first TV fanfiction story, I use my own character, who will become a Power Ranger. I do not own this series. It belongs to Saban Brands and the Toei Company.

8. The Rangers Rock - Part 2

Episode 8 - The Rangers Rock (Part 2)

escapes. The former bad guy says, "He escaped.", then he leaves, but not before Shelby notices his actions. After Heckyll has left, Shelby says to Phillip and James, "I think they're gone." They walk back out and see the other 7 Rangers frozen in stone. Shelby says, "Our friends." James says, "They're solid stone." Damon says, "Wow, this is horrible." She puts her hand up to the stone Tyler and says, "This is all my fault.", starting to cry. Phillip then says, "We've got to get them out of here."

So they then begin to move them onto Tyler's truck, so they can move them back to the base. As Phillip moves the stone Tyler in, James cautiously says to him, "Careful." The prince then says, "Alright, we must destroy Badussa's amulet, so our friends can return to normal." James says, "But how do we fight him without turning to stone ourselves?" Phillip says, "We could destroy him with the Megazord, where we would be safe in the cockpit." Keeper adds, "But your friends' zords will not work while they are stone." James adds, "And our four Zords none of them have cockpits." Keeper says, "Very well, then it is clear what we must do.", as he places a geode on the table. He says to Shelby, "Zenowing reminded us of how he built the Zords, now you must create one." Shelby says, "Me? No no, only Zenowing can make a Zord, I mean he did say the basics, but I only understood about half of the instructions, besides you wouldn't want my help, my brilliant idea to go to Sledge's ship is why we're in this mess." Phillip says, "Shelby, you are the only one with any dinosaur knowledge, and you making a Zord may be the only way to save our friends." The Pink ranger then retorts, "But what if I make another mistake?" Keeper says, "The biggest mistake of all would be not to try." Damon says, "Exactly Keeper, success or fail, we do this as a team, no matter what." Shelby says, "Well, first we need a dinosaur.", and she makes her way over to Kendall's tubes full of dinosaur bones, "Lesothosaurus, no that's the size of a cat. Esperonacus looks like a chicken crossed with a crocodile, no thank you. Spinosaurus, strong, huge, meat eater. It's perfect."

During their moment, we then transition back to Sledge's ship, we hear Wrench in distress, "I better not drop this, easy almost there.", as he is holding the Dark Energem with a pair of forceps. Then Sledge appears and exclaims, "The engine's aren't charging, what are you waiting for, we need power.", and he takes the Dark Energem himself and places it in the machine, where Wrench says, "Oh careful." Sledge then says, "Excellent, return the Dark Energem to me when the systems are fully charged, I have other plans." Wrench says, "Of course Master Sledge."

Back at the museum, Shelby begins to place pieces of a spinosaur, into the geode, mainly a bone and a tooth. And a piece of metal, as Zenowing appears in a flashback reminding her of what she needs, "You must understand, that the Zord is not just a machine, it's alive, the geode must contain biological, metallic and crystalline elements to form the final Zord. Dinosuar bones for its body, metal for its arms, and crystals to give it strength and speed. Only by merging these with a warrior's spirit will the Zord come to life.", as the geode seals itself. Phillip then asks, "Is that everything?" Shelby replies, "Almost, I need the spirit of a warrior.", and she knows just who. She says, "Keeper, I can't think of a warrior braver or wiser than you, would you infuse this geode with your spirit." Keeper says, "It would be an honor.", and he then walks up, raises his staff which begins to glow, and he lowers it towards the geode, giving his spirit to it, and the geode continues to glow. Phillip says, "It appears as though it may be working?" Shelby says, "I have no idea." Just like before, the geode moves itself from the table, and falls into lava. Phillip says, "Wherever did it go?" Keeper says, "I'm sensing which way the Zord's spirit is travelling. Follow me." Damon says, "Well alright, this is pretty cool." and they guys follow the protector of the Energems, as Shelby is enamored with her success, "Is it true, I just created a Zord and a dino charger.", she pulls up the tube and it shows a dark blue dino charger with a double 0 on it, and a picture of a spinosaurus. "I wish Kendall were here to see this.", then she runs off to catch up with the other guys.

Once again, back at Sledge's ship, Poisandra is giving out orders, "Alright Vivix, listen up, get rid of those tools, more stinky flowers and candles." Sledge says, "And get that fruit I like, 'ba-nay-nays'." Fury walks in and says, "They're called 'bananas', Sledge." The bounty hunter retorts, "Whatever Fury." Then all of a sudden, it's as if an earthquake began, as the ship begins to move profusely and Sledge asks, "What's going on?" Fury replies with, "Wrench says the engines are nearly charged." The bounty hunter says, "Good, I'll be back."

We then transition to the forest where Keeper is still leading the others with his staff glowing, in search of the location of their newest Zord. He says, "The spirit is stopping here." James asks, "Why here?" Keeper's response, "I'm not sure." Phillip then notices someone's campsite and runs towards it. He places his hand near a fire pit and says, "It's still warm.", stating that someone was just there. And out comes said camper - the former split personality allie of Sledge, Heckyll who says to the Rangers, "Welcome to my humble home." They stand at a distance, then Shelby says, "Stay back." The former allie says, "Don't be so dramatic, Snide is the one after your skin, not me. Phillip retorts, "You and Snide are the same enemy." Heckyll retorts back, "News flash, Snide and I have had a little..split." Shelby says, "So you and Snide have divided, that's why you helped us against Badussa." The former allie says, "I wasn't saving you, I was there to destroy Badussa, he's devastated entire galaxies, and I know how that feels, my whole planet was destroyed by Lord Arcanon, so he could possess the Dark Energem, Badussa was as bad as he was." Keeper then asks, "You survived the destruction of Sentai-6?" Heckyll replies, "Yes, and everything I've done ever since was to try and restore my planet." Shelby then asks, "Restore Sentai-6, how would you ever do that?" Before Heckyll can answer, our villian then arrives and says, "I told you you would pay, Heckyll.", and raises the amulet. Shelby says, "No, he won't." and the former allie puts his glasses on and the four Rangers and Keeper place a hand over their eyes, then the Pink ranger jumps in to the air, kick Badussa and kicks the amulet out of his hand, sending it flying until it lands on the ground. Badussa exclaims, "My amulet!" Damon says, "You know what this means, guys." Shelby says, "It's morphing time!" Badussa growls and they all say, "Unleash the power!", and spin their dino morphers, running towards him and transforming into their respective costumes. They then begin duelling him, Keeper also assists and says, "Shelby, destroy the amulet!" She makes her way over to it, but also sees Heckyll walk towards it, and to be sure, she blocks his path, and says, "What do you think you're doing?" Heckyll says, "We can destroy it if we work together." The Pink ranger replies, "Okay Heckyll.", they stand side by side and Shelby says, "Let's do this.", and Shelby aims her Dino morpher and Heckyll charges his beam at the amulet, successfully destroying it and off in the museum's base, all of the other Rangers change back to normal. Shelby says, "Guys, are you there?" and Tyler picks up his communicator and says, "Shelby, we're okay, where are you?" She replies, "Thank goodness you're alright, I'll send you my coordinates." As she sends the coordinates, Heckyll begins to leave, she pauses him by saying, "Heckyll, thanks." The now-allie for the Rangers says, "A hint to the wise, get off this planet, soon.", alluding to something major. The four continue to stand up to Badussa, however he then knocks them down and says, "You think I am Badussa now, check this out, magna beam!" and it is aimed at him, making him gigantic, he adds, "I will destroy just like I did the Keruga galaxy." Phillip then says, "How can we fight him without a Megazord?"

Then all of a sudden, Keeper's staff begins to glow again and starts to sense an energy source, belonging to the Spino Zord, he says, "The Spino Zord, it's alive." and after a quake, rising from the ground is none other than the Spino Zord. It spins into the battle area and begins to attack Badussa. James says, "Great job Shelby." Damon says, "Yes, now we can take down that creep." Shelby says, "Let's form the Megazord and take the big guy down." Phillip, James and Damon hold their Dino chargers, exclaim, "Summon Zords!" and throw them into the air. The announcer says, "Ankylo charger engage! Pachy charger engage! Giganoto charger engage!", sending out their Ankylo-zord, Pachy-zord and the fellow personally created Giganoto-zord. Shelby says, "Activate Spino-charge Megazord, Ankylo-Pachy formation!" The announcer saying, "Engage, Zords combine!" Spino-charge Megazord ready!" and the four Rangers as well as Keeper, the holder of the Spino-zord's spirit all appear on their colored platforms, with Keeper standing on a red platform with a blue Spinosaurus in the triangle, same as the one on the diamond above them. The protector says, "You did an excellent job, Shelby." She replies, "Wow, it's awesome." Badussa then begins to charge and Keeper exclaims, "Pachy wrecking ball!", and the five of them raise their arm or staff to control the weapon to hit Badussa, which it does and Keeper also exclaims, "Ankylo hammer!", again controlling it to attack. Damon then asks, "Care to do the honor, Keeper?" The protector says, "I'd be delighted. Giganoto quake!" they punch towards the ground, causing an earthquake that stuns the villian. They all then exclaim, "Spino boomerang attack!" Keeper again exclaims, "Spino boomerang!" and the others add, "Whirlwind finish!", delivering a major attack on the villian, him exclaiming, "Oh, I've hit rock bottom!", showing the explosion, which not completely destroying him, did restore him in his regular, though blackened form. And they begin to celebrate, Shelby says, "You're a natural, Keeper." He replies with, "It was truly an honor." Shelby then says, "Look the others are here, let's go." Keeper says, "Be on your guard, Sledge must be up to something." The Pink ranger replies, "You got it, Keeper." The majorly beaten down villian then says, "Fools, I can't be destroyed that easily." The four in-battle Rangers are re-joined with the other 7 that were turned to stone. Tyler exclaims, "Shelby!", her replying "Tyler!" and they share a hug! as do James and Phillip with Ivan and Koda and Damon gives Riley a high five and Zenowing a hand shake. During this moment, Badussa returns for immediate revenge as Tyler says, "We can't celebrate yet, look." Shelby asks, "He survived?!" The villain exclaims, "Celebrate this, Rangers!" and summons an army of Vivix and other henchmonsters. Tyler exclaims, "Let's finish this, it's morphing time, Dino chargers." All of the others exclaim, "Ready!" and for the other 7 they hold up their chargers in the figure - 2 squares on top, blue and green, next, it showed 3 hexagons above the remaining 2 squares on bottom, the colors in those hexagons were purple, red and silver, and lastly in the bottom squares were black and gold, and it showed each Ranger transforming to their costume. Tyler exclaims, "It's about to get wild!" and they head out for a huge battle. They begin duelling against all of their enemies, including Koda exclaiming, "Caveman slam!", doing a body slam onto the ground, knocking down several enemies. After several more enemies are taken down, James exclaims, "Ankylo quake!" and punches the ground, taking out more enemies. Damon says, "Allow me to lend a hand, Giganoto quake!", also punching the ground. Phillip exclaims, "Pachy punch!", and charges towards some enemies, taking them down. Zenowing also exclaims, "Titano saber strike!" Tyler goes against Badussa and says, "We got off to a rocky start, now it's time to take you down. Dino blade blaster, power blast!" and the beam hits the villian, sending him towards the ground. Tyler says, "Dino charger ready, activate.", and the T-Rex zord joins with him, in his T-Rex Super charge form. Shelby says, "Use the Spino-charger, Tyler." Koda also says, "And Stego-charger." Tyler says, "Ha, thanks guys.", holding all of their dino-chargers. The narrator says, "Dino chargers engage!", as Tyler activates all of them. He then exclaims, "Activate T-Rex Super Charge, Stego-Spino Formation ready!" The villian then says, "Badussa beast bite!", aims it at Tyler, but he then says, "Ha, not so fast, spino boomerang!" and sends the boomerang and his attack back to sender. Tyler says, "Yeah, let's finish this as a team.", and all 11 of them stand together and say, "Together, dinosaur might, ready to fight!" Tyler says, "T-Rex Super Charge, Victory Maximum Final Strike!", all of them hit him at once, and just like that, he was annihilated in blaze. Tyler exclaims, "Monster extinct!", and they all cheered.

However, the celebration would not last long, as Sledge's ship begins to rise off the ground, and eventually taking off just above the Rangers. Tyler exclaims, "Oh no, Sledge's ship." Kendall says, "He must have powered it with the Dark Energem, looks like we're too late."

Up in space, Poisandra says, "Yipee, we're flying high again, it's time to get married, I think we should honeymoon in Hawaii, or China, or New York." Sledge then grabs the brochures from his fiancé and tears them as he says, "Hawaii, China and New York won't exist when my plan is finished. How about asteroid surfing in the Milky Way?" The pink bride exclaims, "Yay! I'll go put on my wedding dress." The bounty hunter replies, "Take your time!" and then Wrench arrives and says, "Oh, Master Sledge, now that the ship is done charging, I brought you the Dark Energem." The bounty hunter says, "Come to papa!" Snide says, "Time for your plan's next phase." Sledge says, "Good, let's go to the bridge where we will have a perfect view of the Earth's final destruction.", with him laughing maniacally.

Back at the base, Tyler and Shelby are seen holding hands, and Zenowing says, "You did well Shelby, if I ever need an apprentice..." She cuts him off by saying, "Thank you, but I think I'll stick to studying dinosaurs, rather than building them." She also says, "So, it's amazing what you're capable of, when the ones you love are in trouble, especially when that trouble is due to my own plan." Tyler says, "Hey, you learn from your own mistakes and saved the day. Pretty awesome." She replied, "Yeah, I learn from the best." He replies, "Ain't that the truth."

Kendall says, "Sledge has been trying to get the Energems for 65 million years, he wouldn't quit now." Phillip then asks, "And what has he been doing since the ship crashed?" Damon says, "Whatever it is, it can't have been good." Shelby says, "Heckyll warned me, he said we should get off the planet." Chase says, "Yeah, but because he helped us once, doesn't mean we should trust him." Ivan says, "Perhaps, but he may truly know something that we don't. That's Sledge's plan, it is so devastating, so huge, that the only safe place were outer space." Damon says, "Shoot, this got real."

Boy, has it. Well that ends this episode, however there will definitely be more to come in Chapter 9, so we'll see you all in Chapter 9.
