Chapter 1: 7 Years Later... (Suit idea by Jokermask18.)
"Hold it, Green Goblin!" said Spider-Man as he stood atop a building and saw the Green Goblin hovering above the bridge.
"Mwahaha! You shall never stop me, Spider-Man!" said the Green Goblin before he was knocked off his glider by the Black Cat.
"Hang in there, Spider-Man! Help has arrived!" said the Black Cat before beeping was heard.
"What is that sound, Black Cat?" asked Spider-Man.
"The pizza's ready!" Black Cat said before Stan, now 7, and Felicia laughed as they played with one of Stan's Spider-Man playsets. Felicia set the figure of Black Cat down and went to go get a pepperoni pizza out of the oven. Over the years, Stan had grown into a huge fan of both Spider-Man and Black Cat. He especially wished he could meet Black Cat, because not only could she do a lot of the things Spider-Man could, she could also beat up her foes as if she was taking a karate class. However, his parents hadn't told him their secret, fearing that his young mind would let slip the secret part of their identities. Despite that, he still liked to spend time a lot with his parents.
As Felicia came back with two slices of pizza, Stan asked her, "Hey, Mom, do you think there's ever a chance that Spider-Man and Black Cat could become part of a team?"
"What kind of team, Stan?" Felicia asked.
"A real cool team of superheroes like them!" Stan said.
"Maybe." Felicia said.
"We now join the latest broadcast of Spider-Man's escapades!" said the TV.
On TV, there was Spider-Man, who had upgraded his suit so that it had a bigger spider symbol that looked like a cross between the Sam Raimi symbol and Andrew Garfield symbol. The eyes were also different. Instead of being wide, they were more narrow and had thin borders around the white parts. Stan watched and cheered as he beat up a large group of robbers.
Later, Dale returned from work and the family watched Dragon Ball Z before they went to bed.
It was funny Stan asked what he did, because little did anyone know, in a lab hidden underground, a man by the name of Miles Warren was doing experiments that anyone would only dream of. He was trying to find a way to clone Spider-Man using a piece of the costume, unfortunately not coming up with anything.
"Blast it! This won't work! If only I had something to put it in experimentation with." Miles said before he felt a sudden gust. He looked above him and saw what appeared to be an interdimensional portal. Out of it fell a strange, but all too familiar red goo.
"What's this?" Miles asked before the goo started to move.
"Interesting." Miles said before he decided to start study on it.
After some research, during which more pieces of the red goo came out, Miles discovered that what he found was a symbiote. At one point, a piece attached to the Spider-Man costume piece and replicated Spider-Man with a mouth filled with sharp teeth and claws.
"What is this?" Miles asked.
"I am Spider-Carnage. You have brought me back, and I am very grateful." said the strange Spider-Man.
"I see. Well, how would you like to assist me in my research?" Miles asked.
"Very well, this may benefit me as well." Spider-Carnage said as they went to conduct more tests. However, just after they left, four people came out of the portal.
"Home sweet home!" said a woman.
"So this is where you came from, Mom and Dad?" asked a boy.
"Right. Now that the other reality is free from bad guys, it feels good to have that weight off our shoulders." said a guy as they snuck out of the lab.
"Well, now what?" asked a younger boy.
"Let's go find somewhere to stay for the night and head back to Dad's apartment tomorrow." said the older boy.
As they made their way down a street, they saw a man threatening a woman.
"Please, I have money!" the woman said.
"Wait here. This won't take long." said the guy.
He walked up behind the thug threatening the woman and tapped his shoulder. The thug turned around.
"What do you want?" the thug asked before the man grabbed his shoulder with a black clawed hand.
"Leave the lady alone, trash heap!" the man said, his voice deepening to a scary level.
"What the heck are you?! You got some kind of skin condition?!" the thug asked.
The man smirked before he grew sharp five-fingered claws, three-clawed feet and a head with white, mean-looking eyes and formed a large white spider shape on the front and back of the chest before growing a large mouth filled with razor-sharp teeth that turned into an evil grin as a long, snake-like tongue came out from between the teeth.
"We...Are Venom!" said the creature with a scary voice before he slashed the man, cutting him up and retrieving the stolen purse before he handed it back to the woman.
"Th-thank you." she said.
"Don't mention it." said Venom before he swung off similar to how Spider-Man would. Once he landed back in the alleyway, his symbiote receded.
"Eddie, are you sure that this is a good idea? What about Spider-Man?" said his wife.
"Ashley, calm down. It'll be fine." Eddie said.
"Are you sure, Dad?" asked his 8-year-old son, Eddie Junior.
"Yeah." said 7-year-old Pete.
"Of course." Eddie said before they continued their search for a shelter for the night.
