The one saving grace of that first kiss, that could make the kiss sort of okay, morally, was that it was in a timeline where they were just friends. Well... okay, maybe the kiss might have changed that. A little? Clarissa was thrown into a spiraling adventure when Leave Became Possible. Author's Note: I wanted to see what kind of adventure Clarissa could go on, when she's not demonstrating the force of gravity, perching on lamp posts, or breaking into people's houses.

When you're off, the little machine has no more heart than a brain. This fic will begin with a variation on the plot of the game from Nona's point of view. She harbors a crush on her best friend, Clarissa, but shenanigans on the island make that kind of difficult. Things may get more complex as time goes on.

Alex sits in her deathbed, reminiscing on a hundred lives past. Finally free from the ghosts, she'd created a life for herself, and accepted its end. But when the ghosts interrupt her trip to the afterlife, she'll experience an emotional journey through her life. If she were given the opportunity to do it all over, would she? An Oxenfree One-shot.
