Things between Sharon and Andy were tense. So much he found himself acting like a kid tattling on the girl in school that he secretly liked.

His emotions about her were everywhere.

One minute he wanted to ring her neck when she kept repeating "Eat Me" because that was one thing he hadn't gotten to do to her. Part of him wondered if she was doing it to get under his skin in the first place. The next minute he felt himself wanted to punch the suspect she was talking to for first calling her a dumb bitch, then ogling at her and telling her he liked business suites.

Andy had wanted to hurt Ally Moore as much as she'd hurt Sharon by using her compassion to try and get away with killing her husband. Andy had wanted to hold Sharon when the case was over. Holding her would have led to more. He wasn't ready for more.

Andy was learning control.

Finally they got to the point where they weren't so much angry at one another as they were irritated by one another. He caught himself rolling his eyes way too much in her presence.

But when he'd gotten attacked all control went out the window. If he was going to die, he wanted it to be her voice he heard last. Hopefully the last face he saw. He wanted to tell her he loved her.

Sharon knew things between them weren't good, but that didn't mean she didn't care about him. She had been in his hospital room earlier, but knew he was putting up a front for Chief Johnson and his team.

Sharon snuck into his room after the Major Crimes team had left. She closed the door behind her knowing visiting hours were over.

"Sharon?" Andy frowned.

"Sorry." She felt nervous. Her hands shook. "I had to come and make sure you were really okay."

"I'll live." He shrugged.

"Andy . . . I'm sorry." Sharon's voice wavered. "For . . . Well . . . everything."

"Come here." Andy motioned for her to come closer. Sharon shook here head. She was having a enough trouble controlling her emotions from the door. She knew if he touched her she'd break. Andy motioned for her again. "Come here or I'll get out of this bed and come to you."

"Andy . . ." Sharon whispered his name but he started to move. His face tensed in pain. "Okay, okay."

Sharon went to him. She stood at his bedside with her hands clasped together

"Come closer." He insisted. Sharon stepped closer and he cupped her face with his good hand pulling her even closer to him. His breath was against her lips as he spoke. "I love you."

Sharon closed the distance between their lips as her heart filled with joy. Her eyes shed the tears she'd tried to hold back. The kiss started so slow but his tongue soon swept across her lips and she allowed it entrance with a moan.

Andy's hand moved from her face into her hair. It massaged her scalp causing another moan to escape her.

"Excuse me." A nurse had came into the room without either of them knowing. When her voice filled the air Sharon jumped back like a caught teenager. "Visiting hours are over."

"Five more minutes." Andy didn't look at the nurse only at Sharon with a grin.

"Fine, but then she has to go." The nurse turned in her heel and left the room.

"Sharon," Andy sighed her name. Sharon walked back to him and took his hand into hers. "I called you first because I was afraid I was going to die. I wanted to tell you I loved you before that happened."

"I love you too." Sharon gave his hand a gentle squeeze. "But we can talk about this when you get out of here and Major Crimes catches your attacker."

She'd fallen so quickly for him it scared her. All the things standing in the way of them being together were still there.

"Okay." He nodded. "We have a lot to talk about."

"Yes." Sharon leaned back over and brushed her lips across his. "Listen to the doctor. Don't over do it. I'll check on you tomorrow."

"Looking forward to it." He grinned wiping her tears from her cheeks.

"Goodnight, Andy." Sharon pulled back.

"Goodnight, Sharon." Andy said as she headed for the door.

As Sharon walked out of the hospital her phone rang.

"Captain Raydor." Sharon answered. "Yes, Sargent Elliot. I'll be right there."

If this was what she thought it was Andy was going to be pissed. So much for them being back on good terms.
