"Captain Raydor." Sharon answered an unknown number her phone as she climbed out of her car.

"Sharon?" Sandra's concerned voice came through the line. "It's Andy."

"Sandra?" Sharon knew that tone. It was the time she'd heard several times when Sandra was worried about Andy. "What's wrong?"

"He was here." Sandra explained as Sharon made her way to her condo. "He came to see the kids. He hugged them like he'd never see them again and told them how much he loved them then he left. He was an emotional wreak."

"Okay," Sharon tried to calm her down. "Do you know if he had been drinking?"

"He says he hasn't and he didn't smell like boozes, but you and I both know he can cover it if he wanted to."

"Let me make some calls," Sharon sighed opening her condo door. "I'll call you as soon as I know anything."

"Thank you so much, Sharon."

"You're welcome." Sharon hung up the phone.

She went to her bedroom to change out of her work clothes. She needed to be in something more comfortable while she went looking for Andy. She made a few phone calls then called Sandra back.

"Did you find him?" Sandra asked.

"No, but I did find out he witnessed a hit and run. Car versus bicycle." Sharon explained while she pulled on a pair of jeans. "The girl on the bicycle was eighteen. Andy was the last person to talk to her. He was with her when she died in the road."

"That's awful." Sandra gasped. "That's why he was so upset."

"Yes." Sharon placed the phone in speaker and pulled a long sleeved LAPD tee shirt over her head. "There's more. The woman was drinking and driving. She ditched the car, went back to the bar, and reported her car stolen."

"Poor Andy." Sandra sighed.

"He's going to be okay." Sharon assured her. "I'm going to find him."

"Okay, thank you for keeping me updated."

"You're welcome." Sharon pulled in her sneakers. "I need to warn you. This could trigger him to drink."

"I understand. What can I do?"

"If he shows up call me." Sharon grabbed her coat. "Be kind and calm with him until I get there."

"Okay."

"Just remember, this isn't his fault." Sharon reminded her as she opened her door. She came face to face with a distraught Andy. "He's here. I'll call you back."

"Sandra?" Andy asked hanging his head.

"She's worried about you." Sharon placed a hand on his cheek and forced him to look at her. "I'm worried about you."

"I haven't been drinking." He looked up at her with red eyes. "I just needed to hold my kids and let them know I love them."

"They know." She led him into her condo and shut the door.

"I want a drink." He admitted. "I was so close. I went to a bar and ordered but all I could see was the disappointed faces of my kids, Sandra, and you. I went to where it happened then came here."

"It's okay." Sharon wrapped her arms around him. She hoped her comfort would help. "Stay with me tonight."

"You sure?" He pulled back and looked at her.

"Yes." Sharon nodded and took his hand. Andy toed off his shoes then she led him to her room.

Sharon tossed her coat on the chair in her room then began unbuttoning his shirt. Andy helped her get it off and tossed it to the floor. Her shirt followed.

They undressed each other then Sharon took his hand again leading him into her bathroom. She turned on the water and they stepped inside.

Sharon washed Andy while he lathered her hair up with shampoo. Sharon ran the soapy spurge over his chest and down his body. She avoided his eyes because she knew her good intentions would go out to window. His rising erection was telling her all she needed to know and she was doing her best not to act on it.

After rinsing the shampoo he applied conditioner. While it set in he took the sponge from her and began to wash her. Sharon bit her lip to suppress a moan when the sponge went between her legs.

Andy turned her around and put her head under the sprayer rinsing the condition from her hair. His bare hands moved over her body to rinse the soap off. She could feel his erection against her ass.

Sharon turned the water off pushing her arousal aside. She handed him a towel and climbed out wrapping up into her own towel.

Sharon dressed in her night gown and found Andy some pajamas from Ricky's clothes in the guest room.

They climbed in her bed together and she held him while he finally broke down. His body shook with sobs that soaked her shoulder.

"When is the funeral?" Sharon asked when he calmed.

"In two days." Andy answered.

"I'll go with you." She ran her hand through his hair. "It will give you some kind of closure."

"Thank you." He looked up at her. "For everything."

"What are friends for?" She shrugged it off.

"Do you shower with all of your friends?" He grinned.

"Hmm," Sharon thought back then laughed. "I've showered with Gavin one time, but that's it."

"You showered with Gavin?!?" Andy asked looking jealous. "Naked?!?"

"Yeah," Sharon smiled. "It's a long story."

"I'm sure." Andy sighed relaxing against her. "Really, Sharon. Thank you."

"You're welcome." She kissed his forehead. "Goodnight, Andy."

"Goodnight, Sharon."
