"I can't believe you put that cake in my face." Andy said as he walked Sharon back to her condo. Both of them were covered in wedding cake.

"It wasn't all me." Sharon said innocently.

What was supposed to be a beautiful tradition of cutting the cake and the newly weds feeding each other the first piece turned quickly into a food fight when one Nicole's new stepsons took a handful of cake and put it in his brother's face.

The next thing Andy knew there were people throwing cake at each other every where. He grabbed Sharon's hand and was trying get them out of the line of fire when he was stopped. One of his new step grandsons was holding a hand full of cake and a mischievous grin.

"I'll give you five dollars not to throw that at us." Andy pulled out his wallet.

"Ten." The boy demanded.

"All I have is a twenty." Andy frowned looking into his wallet.

"I'll take it." The boy snatched the money from Andy and went on his way.

Andy shook his head and tucked his wallet back into his pocket. He turned to check on Sharon when a hand full of cake smashed in his face.

"Who the hell?" Andy wiped the cake from his eyes to see.

Sandra and Sharon were both nearly doubled over with giggles. When they saw they were in trouble, they both pointed at each other.

Andy grabbed a hand full of cake.

"You wouldn't." Sandra frowned.

"Lieutenant Flynn." Sharon gave him her best Darth Raydor face, but then broke out into another fit of giggles.

"Which one?" Andy asked.

"She did it." Sandra pointed at Sharon.

"She put me up to it." Sharon said trying to hold back her nervous giggles.

Andy was able to grab l Sandra first. He put the cake in her face and hair.

Next was Sharon. He grabbed another handful and chased Sharon around the room. She reached for the door handle to the women's bathroom to hide in.

"Oh no you don't." Andy caught her around her middle pulling her back against his front.

"Andy!" Sharon shrieked. "No, please don't."

"All is fair in love and war." Andy whispered against her ear then smashed a hand full of cake in her face.

"Get him!" Sandra yelled and a group of kids came running towards him. All with cake in their hands.

By the end of the fight cake was everywhere and everyone was covered. The kids cleaned up the floor and the guest saw the newly weds off.

"I never thought I'd see the day you two would gang up on me." Andy laughed as they arrived at her door. "I had a good time tonight."

"Me too." Sharon smiled unlocking her door. "Come on in. I'm sure Ricky has something here you can wear home."

Andy followed her into the condo, but caught her hand after he closed the door. He turned her so her back was against it.

"Do you remember this?" He asked kissing along her neck. "The first time we were together?"

"Yes." Sharon whispered.

All night she'd felt the sexual tension between them and part of her knew this would happen when she invited him in. With Rusty staying at Provenza's, she was prepared for what was about to happen.

"And this." Andy's lips crushed against hers. She could taste a mix between his cranberry soda and the icing of the cake on his lips. Sharon reached for his belt.

"Hey, did you two have fun at the wedding?" Rusty asked walking by. They both froze knowing they'd been caught, but when Rusty walked on by they jumped apart. He came back and poked his head around the corner and frowned. "What happened to you two? Did you have a food fight?"

"Cake fight." Sharon smiled and waved him off while she opened the door. "I'll fill you in on all the details. Goodnight, Andy."

"Goodnight, Sharon." Andy stepped out. "Rusty."

"Lieutenant." Rusty nodded and headed back to the kitchen. He then asked from the kitchen when the door closed. "So what are you two dating now?"

"No," Sharon answered walking around the corner to find him making a sandwich. "We're just friends. It's normal to have friends you know."

"I have friends." Rusty frowned. "But I don't get all dressed up and look like that to hand out with them."

"I do recall you getting dressed up and going places with Chris a time or two." Sharon pointed out. "Are you two dating?"

"No," Rusty quickly answered then hesitated. "Well, I think she wants to be but I don't."

"I thought you ate with Lieutenant Provenza?" Sharon asked changing the subject.

"I did." He turned around to face her. "But I'm hungry again. Want half?"

"No thanks." Sharon shook her head. "Did something happen that made you not want to stay there tonight?"

"No," He carried his sandwich to the bar and handed her half. "I just wanted to come home."

"Okay." Sharon nodded then took a bite of the sandwich. She felt an overwhelming sense of pride and a little guilt.

"So what happened at the wedding?" Rusty asked.

"Nicole's new stepsons thought it would be funny to put cake in each other's faces." Sharon explained. "Which lead to adults putting cake in each other's faces."

"Who put cake your face?" He smirked.

"Lieutenant Flynn." Sharon answered trying not to go into a fit of giggles again. "But only after I'd put a handful in his face with the help of a kid and his ex wife."

"No," Rusty said shocked. "You put cake in his face?"

"Yep." Sharon said proudly and went on to tell the story in detail while they finished their sandwiches. Rusty seemed to get a kick out of the story and broke out into laughter. "I'm going to get cleaned up and go to bed."

"Okay," Rusty nodded. "Good night, Sharon."

"Good night, Rusty."
