Lincoln and Rita are swimming down into the water. Lincoln was still processing the fact that his future stepmother is a mermaid. He was amazed that he is breathing underwater. "I know you have serval questions." Rita said.
"Yeah why are you on the surface? Why are you dating my dad? Did my dad known about your tail on your first date?" Lincoln asked.
"My kind has been on the surface for many years. I live him and I showed him my tail on our 3rd date." Rita answered.
"I don't want to know how." Lincoln said.
"Just wait until we get to the castle." Rita said.
Once the two have reached an underwater kingdom that looks somewhat advanced and ancient at the same time. "This is Atlantis? It looks so modern and old." Lincoln said.
"Yes, Atlantis has been advanced with technology and magic as well. We tried using both but one wrong step and it lead to the city sinking." Rita explained.
"What's Atlantis doing next to Florida?" Lincoln asked.
"My ancestors teleported Atlantis right next to the United States. The magic managed to turn everyone in Atlantis into merfolk, we can step on land and grow legs. There are some merfolk that are on land." Rita explained.
"So you get legs when dry and a tail when you get wet?" Lincoln asked.
"Yes," Rita nodded. "We have items that'll prevent our tails from being shown."
Once they reached the castle it looked majestic, and advanced. "Whoa." Lincoln said.
"This is where you'll be living anytime you want." Rita said as they entered the castle where they see a throne room with a throne made out a giant seashell and pink coral. Inside the halls is gold yellow and red, and some statues.
"So you're a queen?" Lincoln asked.
"Yes she is." Lincoln looked and he sees a 16 year old mermaid with fair skin, slender body, with a green tail, mint green seashell bra, pearl earrings and strawberry blonde hair in a ponytail. Lincoln was startled by the mermaid's appearance. "Hi, my name is Rose Cunnningham, lady in waiting to the princesses of Atlantis. You must be Lincoln, Queen Rita has told me so much about you."
"Nice to meet you." Lincoln replied.
"Rose, can you get my daughters so they can meet their new stepbrother." Rita said.
"As you wish." Rose bowed and swam away.
A few minutes later Rose has returned with eight mermaids, each looking different from each other. "May I present, Princess Lori." Rose introduced as they swam in.
A 17 year old mermaid with large blonde hair, fair skin, pearl earrings, with a light blue tail and light blue seashell bra entered the throne room.
"Princess Leni."
A 16 year mermaid with fair skin, long blonde hair, wearing a pair of white sunglasses, hoop earrings, with a turquoise tail and a turquoise seashell bra enters the throne room.
"Princess Luna."
A 15 year old mermaid with fair skin, freckles on her cheeks, short brown hair styled in a pixie cut, wearing a purple tank top with a skull on it, black bracelets and a purple tail enter the throne room.
"Princess Luan."
A 14 year old mermaid with fair skin, with fair skin, buck teeth with braces, light brown hair in a large ponytail in a yellow scrunchie, wearing a yellow seashell bra and has a yellow tail enters the throne room.
"Princess Lucy."
A 8 year old mermaid with pale skin, black hair with the bangs covering her eyes, wearing a black tube top and has a black tail enter the throne room.
"Princess Lola and Lana."
Two 6 year old mermaids enter the throne room. Both have fair skin, blonde hair and they're both missing their front teeth. One has her hair in a tuft and reaches the back of her neck, wearing a pink tube top, pearl necklace and pearl earrings and has a pink tail. The other one is has her hair in pigtails, wearing a red cap and a blue tube top and has a blue tail.
"Princess Lisa."
A 4 year old mermaid with brown shaggy hair, wearing a pair of glasses, wearing a green tube top and has a green tail, enters the throne room.
"Wait where's Lynn?" Rita asked
A/N: Ok to avoid confusion I will be referring Lynn (adult) to Lynn Sr.
"I couldn't find her my queen." Rose replied.
Then two other mermaids enter the throne room. Another 16 year old girl with fair skin, black hair that reaches her hair and the bangs covers her right eye, with a grey tail. Wearing black and grey coral armor.
The last mermaid is a 13 year old mermaid with fair skin with freckles on her face, brown hair in a small ponytail, with a red tail, wearing a red and white wetsuit t-shirt with a red number one on it.
"Joy, you had Lynn this whole time?" Rose asked.
"I was training her." Joy said.
"I'll talk to you later. Girls I would like you to meet Lincoln Loud your new stepbrother. Well not until next month until the wedding. He'll be staying here for Spring Break, I want you to treat him with respect." Rita asked.
"So this guy is going to be our new stepbrother?" Lynn asked.
"Yes. He and my Fiancé Lynn Loud will be the bridge between the sea and land." Rita explained.
"I have to share my room with a stupid human?" Lola asked while she placed her hands on her hips.
"Lola!" Rita called out.
"What?! They throw their trash in our home." Lola said.
"I don't mind trash on land, but not in the ocean." Lana agreed.
"Come on dudes." Luna said. "Give him a chance, he's going to be part of our family soon."
"Luna's right. As future Queen of Atlantis." Lori began as the sisters all groaned, Lori ignored the groans from her sisters continued on. "We need to show Lincoln a good time and get to know him."
"Good thinking Lori. But first let him get settled." Rita said. "Rose would kindly show Lincoln to his room."
"Yes my queen." Rose said as she grabbed Lincoln's suitcase and gestured Lincoln to follow her.
Sorry that it was short, but it was the best I can come up with. Next chapter we'l see them bond. Also in case you're wondering Lily doesn't exist yet, but she'll come into the story later. Rose and Joy are owed by eagc7.
