This is an attempt to novelize the Waterdeep Dragonheist campaign. The characters have all been together in my Out of Abyss novelization, so read that first. There will be spoilers of course! So don't read this as a player. You've been warned.

This is set at the end of a dnd campaign of a party of three where they are encountering one of the four primordial gods who was previously considered a normal god - Loki god of lies - but is now revealed to be the primordial god of truth.

A half-elf wizard, a human fighter, a dwarf cleric and a half-elf bard are on their way to Phandalin on a routine delivery when they are swept up in an adventure involving goblins, cut-throats and dark elf wizards. The party strive to make a name for themselves and earn fame and fortune, but in the process they anger some of the most powerful beings in the land.

A memory of innocence and joy between 4 friends and their families who drifted away as time went by. Not a great summary but has useful content for players.
