The next day at 10:00 am, the Troop came down with supplies for their big adventure to the monster dimension.

"Were everyone's parents alright with us going away for a few weeks?" Jake asked.

"My mom said that it would be a good thing to see new places and get some exercise," Hayley said.

"My folks said that I can learn new things from this trip," Kirby said. "How about you Jake?"

"My parents enjoyed that idea since Phoebe is at summer camp; they've got the house all to themselves," Jake said. Just then Zeon showed up.

"Is everyone ready?" Zeon asked.

"Ready for the adventure," Jake said.

"So, everyone hand me your phones," Zeon said. "I will hook them up to Troop Grid to make your parents think that you're travelling through the US. While I'm doing that, you guys get some weapons; you never know if you need them."

"I wonder what we will get to see in the monster dimension," Jake said as he and the others were grabbing as many weapons as they could.

"Entirely new ecosystems," Hayley said.

"Monsters we've never encountered before," Kirby said.

"Who knows," Cadence said. The team came back with weapons fully loaded.

"Your phones are now hooked up to Troop Grid so it can now make a fake tracker, fake phone calls, and even fake photos," Zeon said.

"So, let's get going," Jake said. "I'll get the dimension mites."

"That won't be necessary Jake," Zeon said. "We first need to go to my lab to pick up some things, and I have a way to get there."

He pulled out a little device with a red button on top.

He pushed it and a few dimension mites flowed out from the bottom.

They opened a portal, and the team crossed through.

On the other side, they walked into a strange place that was dark.

"Where are we?" Kirby asked.

"My lab," Zeon said. He flipped a switch and the place lit up with bright lights.

It was a metal hallway at first, but when they came to a door, it slid open to reveal a room with big shelves.

"What's all this?" Hayley asked with a look of amazement.

"These are all my blueprints for every species of monster I created," Zeon said as he climbed onto an elevated platform.

"How many species did you make?" Jake asked.

"Over 1,500," Zeon shouted from above.

"Now I'm definitely impressed," Jake said.

Zeon then came down holding two strange rods.

He handed each of them to Jake and Kirby; they both pushed a button on the rods, and a holographic screen flashed out.

"This one is a blueprint for the Repticore," Jake said.

"And this one for the Gelatinous Cube," Kirby said.

"That's a lot of fine detail and information," Hayley complimented.

"Thanks, I had my work cut out for me," Zeon said.

"How come this says Monster 385?" Jake asked.

"And this one Monster 386?" Kirby asked.

"I had to catalog them as something, so I cataloged them by number," Zeon said. "But then I found out that you humans gave them names."

Zeon placed the blueprints back and took the Troop to the next room.

He took them to a room with ten separate chambers.

The chambers looked like different environments behind glass like you see in a museum except with wide open space behind the glass.

"Which room is this?" Kirby asked.

"This is the room where I place all of my newly-created monsters in simulated environments so that they can get use to their surroundings before going into the wild," he said. "I'm able to change the environment in each chamber."

He typed in a few numbers on a keypad near one of the chambers. The environment, at first a desert with spiraling rocks, changed into a volcanic field.

"That is so cool," Jake said.

"You'd be surprised at what else my technology can do," Zeon said.

Zeon then took them to a big room with dials and button, vials, and test tubes with different colored goos, and a big glass cylinder chamber in the middle.

"This is my work area," Zeon said. "It's where I create every species and genus of monster."

"What do you mean by genus?" Jake asked.

"There's more than one species of the same monster such as Monster 801, the Globular Hydrodragon, like Nessie, the Ogopogo, and Champ," Zeon explained. "And also, for Monster 175, the Bantoo, like the slithering fanged, the snapping jawed, and the flying tusked."

"So, what's this?" Hayley asked, pointing to the glass chamber.

"This machine is what I used to create the monsters," Zeon said. "I gather DNA from many of the creatures from the human world and pour them into this machine."

"Then I rearrange and mix up the DNA to make it into monster DNA, resulting as goo."

"Once the DNA in the goo is in order, I push this green button and the goo transforms into the monster; I can make multiple monsters with different ages, different characteristics, different personalities, and different genders so that they can populate otherwise they would just be clones of a single monster."

"How did you make my species?" Cadence asked.

"I used reptilian and primate DNA with a little bit of human DNA for your monster form," Zeon said. "I even placed in a secret hidden gene in the DNA of all blood thrashers that can allow only certain thrashers to transform into a human whenever they want."

"What's that over there?" Kirby asked, pointing to a machine with a big satellite dish in front.

"That's the machine I used to create the dimension mites," Zeon said.

"It looks broken down," Hayley said.

"That's because a few weeks after I created my very last species of monster, it somehow malfunctioned and sent a massive shockwave of energy across the entire monster world, which caused portals to randomly open to your world," Zeon said.

"I was thinking that you were just opening the portals for the monsters as a form of revenge for being kicked out of our world," Jake said.

"Revenge isn't really my style," Zeon said. "Anyway, the portals first opened up to the Devonian period in your world, so I tried to round up all the monsters myself so that they won't cause destruction in your world."

"And how did that work for you?" Cadence asked.

"Not very well," Zeon said. "But when humans evolved, I saw that they developed ways to defend themselves and their world against the monsters."

"That's how a lot of humans became monster hunters; I even met many historical figures in the human world who were monster hunters."

"Like who? I'm dying to know," Jake asked.

"Ötzi the iceman, he was one of the very first monster hunters, he managed to stop a bunch of ice ghouls, but one of them snuck up on him from behind, stabbed him in the back with one of his arrows, and froze him," Zeon said. "Then there was Hercules, who stopped monsters like a Nemean lion, a hydra, and an Erymanthian boar all on his own."

"George Washington even fought monsters back in his days before becoming the first president of the United States."

"So, are we going to continue talking about this world's history, or are we going to start our adventure?" Cadence asked.

"I have one more thing to show you before we get going," Zeon said.

The four of them then went to a garage where there was a big vehicle that was as big as a cabin. "This is my mobile transportation machine; it acts as a home on wheels."

"Like an RV," Hayley said.

"Not exactly," Zeon said. "It's got a bunch of mechanisms for getting through the monster world, and it can even cover the scents of humans so that monsters won't attack you."

"So, let's get going," Jake said with excitement. "I can't wait any longer."

"Alright, everyone aboard," Zeon said.

Everyone climbed in and Zeon started the engine.

A doorway opened to an open area with blue swaying grass. They zipped off out of the ground and over the land where their adventure begins.
