On day number sixteen, the Troop was still stranded on the back of the aspidochelone.

Zeon was fixing the vehicle while the others continued to explore in the jungles.

The jungles were misty and very much like any other island.

"There doesn't seem to be a lot of monster world appearances in this jungle," Jake said.

"That's mainly because aspidochelones have spent a lot of time going through portals to the human world that they gain more sunlight from the human world sun, so all aspidochelones are forever born with human-world island features," Cadence said.

"I had no idea that portals can open up to be that huge," Jake said.

Hayley was behind Cadence and was going through a bag with some things.

"What's all that?" Cadence asked behind her.

"I like collecting seashells," she said. "And I think that the ones from the monster dimension look more beautiful since they have bioluminescent patterns that dance across their shells like miniature lava lamps."

"Just be careful not to hold onto the shells with the purple patterns for more than fifteen seconds because they could immediately poison you," Cadence said.

"Thanks for letting me know," she said, quickly letting go of a purple one.

Moments later, there was a rustling in the trees above them.

It was small rustling, so it wasn't something big.

There were then a lot more rustling in the trees around them.

Something then dropped from the trees; it was brownish green with eight arms, two black eyes, and a plated head.

"What's that?" Jake asked.

"Hold on, Zeon gave me an electronic journal with all of his monster creations," Kirby said, pulling a tablet out of his travel bag and then began swiping through the touch screen pages. "That's Monster 247, a Tree Octopus."

"It can live on both land and in the water, they mainly mate in any body of water but then come to any spots of land to live in the trees, and their main enemy is Monster 1,160, the Sasquatch."

Just then, eleven more tree octopi dangled down from the trees, but they all then swung away.

"Let's follow them," Jake said.

They came to a small pool.

They were about to get closer, but the tree octopi were squeaking at them so wildly.

"What got into them?" Kirby asked the others as he took a picture of the small monsters.

"No clue," Jake said. "But look at that."

He pointed toward a set of rocks that were sparking.

"Volt rocks," Cadence said. "Be careful not to touch them, or they will zap you silly."

A couple of bubbles then came out of the pool.

The Troop got closer for a better look until a massively long creature erupted out of the water.

It looked like a very long, black centipede with hundreds of flipper-like legs, bony plates on its back, and two menacing looking pincer-like jaws.

"What's that?" Hayley asked, falling back.

"I have no idea." Cadence said with a look of fear.

The monster then hissed and struck at them.

As Zeon continued to fix the vehicle, the others came rushing out of the jungle.

Jake and Kirby were holding onto Hayley because she looked very ill with pale black skin and her left arm was bleeding.

"What happened?" Zeon asked as he rushed over.

"We came to this small pool deep in the jungle where we met a bunch of tree octopi, but we were then attack by another monster that shot out of the water," Jake said freaking out. "It bit Hayley's arm, and she began to look very sick."

"What did the monster look like?" Zeon asked.

"It looked like some sort of giant centipede with lots of flipper like legs," Kirby said.

"You must be talking about Monster 513, a Con Rit," Zeon said. "Nasty, water dwelling monsters. When they attack their prey, they latch onto them with their jaws, then sticks a stinger from between its mandibles into the prey's flesh and injects a venom."

"For monsters, the venom just paralyzes them, but it can kill a human in nine hours."

"So, what do we do?" Kirby asked.

"If we get some of the venom from the Con Rit, I can make an anti-venom for Hayley," Zeon said. "So, Jake will stay here with Hayley while the rest of us get the venom."

"Okay," Jake said with a look of worry. "But hurry."

Zeon, Kirby, and Cadence then made their way towards the pool; they then met up with the tree octopi.

The octopi then began throwing berries at them.

"Why are they doing that?" Kirby asked.

"Maybe they're trying to prevent us from going towards the pool," Cadence said. "They're just trying to protect us."

"I don't think they'll let us through no matter what," Zeon said. "So, we'll just have to find another way around."

Just then Kirby's watchcom beeped.

"Have you guys got the venom yet?" Jake asked through the watchcom.

"We're right now trying to get passed the tree octopi," Kirby replied. "Apparently they don't want us to go to the con rit; how's Hayley doing?"

"Not good," Jake said. "She's getting worse."

"Just hold on," Kirby said. "We'll be as quick as we can."

The three of them came to a small pathway and quietly snuck past the octopi.

They came to the pool to find the con rit sleeping halfway out of the water.

"So, what's the plan?" Kirby whispered.

"I'm hiding a small pouch under my sleeve," Zeon said. "I will get the con rit to bite me so that the venom will be injected into the pouch."

"Then once I've got the venom, Cadence will jam this metal rod into its jaws so that it won't try to bite us again."

"Got it," Cadence said.

"So, I guess I'll just hang here and get some shots of this," Kirby said.

"Fine," Zeon said. "But keep it quiet."

Zeon and Cadence then slowly crept over to the giant centipede.

Without noticing, Cadence accidently kicks a pebble into the water.

The con rit rose up and hissed.

It shot down at Zeon and bit his arm.

The stinger then shot out and stabbed his arm.

Zeon shook free, and Cadence jammed the rod into its jaws.

The con rit tried to shake it out, but it then turned around to fast, and the rod hit the volt rocks.

The con rit was electrocuted so bad that when it broke free, it sank to the bottom of the pool.

"Nice Job," Zeon said to Cadence.

He rolled up his sleeve to show a metal arm brace with a plastic pouch with the venom on top. "Let's quickly get this back to Hayley; we've only got four hours left, or she's done for."

"So, you got some good shots of the con rit, Kirby?" Cadence asked.

"Even some shots of it getting electrocuted," Kirby said.

Hours later, Zeon was making the anti-venom for Hayley.

Hayley's skin was getting more pale black, she was getting skinny, and she couldn't speak.

Zeon pulled out a syringe, filled it up with the anti-venom, and slowly injected it into Hayley's arm.

A few seconds later, her skin and body were turning back to normal.

"How are you feeling?" Jake asked.

"I…I feel, okay," Hayley said, her voice still a little weak.

"Thank goodness," Jake said, giving her a hug.

"Just take it easy, Jake," Zeon said. "The anti-venom is still taking affect."

"Is the vehicle fixed yet Zeon?" Cadence asked. "I remember now that when there's one con rit, there's usually more of them."

"Just need to make one last adjustment," he said. "And then we can fly out of here."

The others helped Hayley up since she was a little shaky, and they climbed into the vehicle.

After screwing in a few more bolts, Zeon climbed into the vehicle too and started the engine.

The wings popped out of the sides, and the vehicle took off.

Looking beneath them, they saw the whole body of the aspidochelone under the water.

It looked like a large whale with six turtle flippers, two long whiskers, and a big whale tail.

"I've got a picture of the aspidochelone," Kirby said.

"Alright," Zeon said. "On with the adventure."
