"Do you think this has something to do with us?"
"No, that doesn't explain why the others have switched. This isn't some bullshit morality story about learning some stupid lesson, this whole situation was probably fabricated by outside influence." Kai stated firmly.
He was standing right outside the street entrance of the dojo. His usual pose, leaning sluggishly against the fence as he watched his friend pace, arms crossed, came across as comical being replicated by Tyson's body.
"You mean like some crazy science experiment gone wrong?"
"Or right. Depending on who you ask."
"So all we need to do is find the perpetrator and make them stop?" the other sombrely concluded. Thankfully, he had stopped trotting around in a circle as Kai was getting agitated watching him. Even now when it wasn't an issue, it made him anxious not be able to read people's lips.
"In the mean time we have to make sure the rest don't get swayed by this tableau and go off playing Sherlock Whistleblower." he reminded him.
"Yes, that would be bad for both of us. What about the money?"
Kai made a dismissive hand motion. "Ray has it now but I will persuade him to give it to me. As far as he is concerned it is mine after all."
