Crashing into the surface of Pandora, a lost elite squad of Marines end up taking part in a chaotic chase across the Borderlands alongside the Crimson Raiders to prevent the COV from accessing the Vaults as they try to piece together when and where they are. On the way, they find themselves creating problems for the Raiders and each other, which is just fine for the Calypso Twins.

Steele after being killed by The Destroyer awakes again to new world. Steele and her new allies come into conflict with local bandit leaders. All the while an unknown enemy plots in the background to enact an ancient prophecy regarding The Legendary Anarchist and The Sirens.
