Wahid was in the middle of the deserts under a starless sky as he was all alone.

Secrets of Sands, their powers under your command…

The coldness of the night did not be felt by him for some odd reason.

The frightened boy looked around to see he was completely alone with no signs of his father or Abu.

He tried to call out for them, but his voice was completely muted.

He then felt the earth rumbling underneath him.

Suddenly, a tower burst forth before him!

The tower lowers down to Wahid, trying to say something, but the other voice was muffling it.

Wahid screamed as the towering monster tried to eat them!

In the Waking world…

Wahid gasped in fright as he looked around to see that it was all a dream, causing him to curl up into himself.

He hated those dreams. It gave him complete goosebumps and they never really go away. Wahid really wanted them to one day stop but he has no idea how. Maybe it was because he heard the stories of sand monsters or something, he wasn't sure.

"Wahid, time to get up." A voice requested from the young voice, causing him to snap out of it.

"Huh?" The young boy grunted as he saw his adoptive father.

"Come on, Son. Rise and shine, it's time to go to the marketplace to get some breakfast." Aladdin smiled as he noticed his melancholy state, "Another bad dream?"

"Yep." Wahid frowned as he hated those dreams.

Aladdin and Abu hugged the boy until he was better.

"Don't worry, dreams are only dreams. They can't hurt you in the real world. I promise." Aladdin assured him as the fear was finally shaken away.

"Okay." Wahid smiled as he felt better from the comfort, "Can we get something to eat? I'm starving.

"We can do that. Plus, food always makes things better after a bad dream." Aladdin answered as Abu agreed.

It was time to do a little 'shopping'.

At the Market Place…

The family was resting on the tarp above the melon salesmen as they were planning out their next food heist.

The merchants were easy to dope with a cute little kid around as he batt his little eyes for the bread from those who had a soft spot for children. Wahid managed to get enough bread for the family breakfast for today. But the more experienced merchants were not so easy to tug the heartstrings as they shoo urchins away from their stands if they have no money, which is when Abu and Aladdin came in. Why have simple bread all day when they can have some vitamins for another hard day on the streets?

A merchant was advertising his fruit as the monkey got ready for his act.

"Try some excellent melon! Your tastebuds will dance and sing with delight!" He told passersby while Aladdin and Abu looked down.

"Okay Abu, go." Aladdin smiled as the monkey squeaked and did what he did best.

Abu chattered as he got the attention of the merchant.

"Hey, you! Get your paws off of that!" He demanded in an angry tone while Abu mocked him and made faces.

As the merchant and Abu were playing tug of war, Wahid and Aladdin pulled the real heist and made off with two melons. Abu then tipped his hat and disappeared as the merchant looked befuddled.

"Good work, guys. Breakfast is served." Aladdin smiled as they split the haul and got to eat with bread and melon flavoring up their day.

Wahid looked towards As they were almost done with their meal, Wahid noticed his dad making an odd face. Abu tried to get his attention, but Aladdin was in his own little world.

"Hey Dad, what are you looking at?" Wahid wondered as he saw a woman buying stuff, "It's just a lady at the market. I never seen her here before, she doesn't look like the widows that gave me and the other urchins' clothes."

Then things started to go wrong as the woman did not pay for the apple and would have gotten her hands caught off if it weren't for his father. They played up an act that the girl was a crazy sister who thought Abu was the sultan, who Wahid is still not sure he exists.

Then they ran off with some jewels that Abu managed to get.

This day would change that small family forever.
